Hello,I made a simple project to test TouchGFX, when I move the slider I got error values, the initial value I’ve set in TouchGFX Designer is 25, so when I move the slider if the value contains 2 or 5 it will show with an other character this is is my code:void Screen1View::SliderChanged(int value){unicode::snprintf(textArea1Buffer, TEXTAREA1_SIZE, “%d?,value );textArea1.setWildcard(textArea1Buffer);textArea1.invalidate();}
Hi everyone,I created a custom container and I created a button, so I want to fade the custom container on the screen when I click the button!i created a virtual function within TouchGFX then I created an object of my custom contain class inside this function then I called obj.setVisible(true); but didn’t work
I've been attempting to get TouchGFX running with MbedOS. I've got the program compiling but I'm getting some consistent link errors. Any suggestions on this?Using ARMC6 (6.13) I get the following:```[Warning] @0,0: L3912W: Option 'legacyalign' is deprecated.[Error] @0,0: L6218E: Undefined symbol touchgfx::HAL::instance (referred from BUILD/DISCO_F746NG/ARMC6/Middlewares/ST/touchgfx/framework/source/touchgfx/containers/CacheableContainer.o).[Error] @0,0: L6218E: Undefined symbol touchgfx::Bitmap::dynamicBitmapGetAddress(unsigned short) (referred from BUILD/DISCO_F746NG/ARMC6/Middlewares/ST/touchgfx/framework/source/touchgfx/containers/CacheableContainer.o).......Finished: 0 information, 1 warning and 164 error messages.```All 164 errors are consistent undefined symbols coming from touchgfx files.Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to be down to static members of a class not being defined in a .cpp that they are used in (Defining these members seems to fix the error) (Like this: htt
Why are there two F429The generated code will also report errors.

Posted on November 11, 2016 at 21:25Hello,I am trying to test the DSI HAL but am having trouble making the read function work on the LCD screen included in the kit.Here is my attempt to execute a get_address_mode request.HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_DSI_Read(&hdsi_eval, (uint32_t) 0, read, 1, DSI_DCS_SHORT_PKT_READ, 0x0BU, 0x0U); if(status==HAL_OK){ printf(''Read 0x0B: 0x%x\r\n'', read[0]); } else if(status == HAL_TIMEOUT){ printf(''HAL Timeout\r\n''); } else{ printf(''HAL Error\r\n''); }According to the DSI spec, I can do this command at any point, whether the device is sleeping or not. I've made sure to do it before the default code puts the LCD in write to GRAM mode and always get a timeout.Has anyone gotten the DSI read code to work? #stm32469i-eval #dsi
Hi,I got a STM32F429I DISCO. I’m trying to configure LTDC to display a black screen (it should be simple:grinning_face_with_sweat: ), but i don’t really succed it.I am really confused because i don’ t understand the following things :1. Does the STM32F429I DISCO implement Serial (SPI) or parallel interface ? Because according to the datasheet, the 4 – Wire Serial is configured (IM[3:0]=0110), so how can we use ther the LTDC ?2. Is the ILI9341 library mandatory to use the display ?You can see my configuration above. Thanks !
Hello all,Is there a way to draw a rounded filled rectangle dynamically and assign it to a button?Thanks!Samer
I have the development kit, I made an application, following an ST tutorial, but it is still not working. I have the .bin file, but when I debug the program the display doesn't show anything, and the red led continuos blinking, I think there are some problems programming the flash, but I do not know what to do to fix them.
I've come up with the following issue while trying to invalidate an area. I would expect that I could grab a MinimalRect from an object and pass it directly to the base container, as the following:invalidateRect(arc.getMinimalRect());However, I get the following compiler error:error: cannot bind non-const lvalue reference of type 'touchgfx::Rect&' to an rvalue of type 'touchgfx::Rect' invalidateRect(arc.getMinimalRect());If the invalidateRect function signature is changed to:void Drawable::invalidateRect(Rect const & rect);It will compile, but then it will obviously not link, since the Drawable source isn't available. According to the documentation, "rect" is just an input, not an output. Wouldn't it make sense to have it passed by const reference?Thanks,Jeremy
Hi,I have working on below setup:Software Tool Chain:STM32CubeMX 5.6.0TouchGFX 4.13.0 DesignerSTM32CubeIDE 1.2.0Hardware:STM32F746G-DISCO (Discovery Board)I have created GUI on TouchGFX 4.13.0. worked fine on simulator and Discovery Board as well.But I am trying import and open project in STM32CubeIDE 1.2.0.Imported Successfully . I want to take current screen screenshot and save it into JPEG or BMP image file format in mass storage.I have seen saveScreenshot() function, but this is for Simulator.I want to svae screenshot in STM32L4R5.Please comment if you have answers on this.Thank you.
Hello! Look at the picture.Artifacts - is lines at right side of widgetCan you say me possible course oth this artifacts?I llok at memory window in KEIL - artifacts are in memory, is not LTDC artifacts
Hello, I want to generate QR code dynamically and also want to clear it sometimes during run time. I got github link and added those files in my project. Still I am not sure how to call it. You have mentioned to call qrCode.setXY(0,0) , qrCode.setQRCode(&code), qrCode.setScale(4) , add(qrCode) methods but I am unable to find it. https://github.com/touchgfx/touchgfx-open-repository/tree/master/widgets/QRCodeCan you please help ?
I have a have project where I need to run a test sequence to some analog circuit and then do some measurements and display those results on the LCD. I'm using stm32f469 discovery board, CubeMX 5.4.0 and touchGFX 4.12.3. The measurement works fine, I can get the ADC results stored in an array, but I don't know how do I display them on the screen. I have already watched every single video about the subject I could find on Youtube and followed those but I can't get it working. I have spent now too much time on this and I'm about to give up and use just 2-row LCD...unless someone could give me a proper example of how to do this. Has anyone managed using stm32f469 board? I'm willing to switch to some other board if that would solve the problem. I would be grateful if someone could help me to do this.-HH

Hi everyone! I'm trying to create a project using CubeIDE 1.3, Touchgfx 4.13 and f769i-disco board. I have started building project with Cube and then added touchgfx using "additional software" menu. I have succesfully configured external SDRAM and display driver: I can see data being put into a buffer by touchgfx, but the screen shows nothing but a white stripe in the middle. I have tried copying parameters for ltdc and dsi from example but it still doesn't work. So the question is: has anyone managed to configure the screen on this board properly without just copying BSP functions?

Hello.I haven't found similar question. I am beginner with TOUCHGFX: Is it possible to use TOUCHGFX with STM32F0XX series with some cheap TFT Displays? As I read TOUCHGFX supports all of that drivers but I don't understand how to connect all components together. Is it possible?Thank you!
We are using stm32H743 We need a frame buffer of 150K to our LCD. we do not have an external RAM, so we use the 412K internal RAM.We also work with USB (Full speed mode).each peripheral work on it own , but not together. if we enable both of them they are not working not even if the USB buffers are in another RAM section. there isn't any compilation or linking error, but nothing is working on the board.We think it can be stack or heap problem, but we do not manage to enlarge them without crashing.we asked you this question before and you told us to increase the size of heap and stack but its didnt helpd you have another idea for us?Thanks
Hi,I'm trying to create a simple TouchGFX Application, that can handle hardware components, such as GPIO. Many tutorials exist but i haven't seen yet an official walkthrough from ST. Maybe, i haven't searched enough. So , is there any tutorial or documentation that explain the right procedure, even the setup for custom hardware design. Further informations : I have an STM32F429I-DISCO. I use STM32CubeIDE 1.1.0 and TouchGFX 4.13.0Thanks
Thank you for helping.I want to display the value detected by the sensor in View.I'm thinking of using the RTOS mail queue.Where should I describe queue reception?Thank you.
