Hello everyone, I am currently working on a project with touchGFX (4.13.0) and I want to use CMSISv2 functions and calls. Since the default configuration from touchGFX is CMSISv1, I open the cubeMX project created by touchGFX and changed the CMSIS version in the FreeRTOS config menu. I generated files from cubeMX, then generated files from touchGFX. And when I "Run Target" I get this error :Run Target Generate Done Generate Assets make -f simulator/gcc/Makefile assets -j8 Done Post Generate touchgfx update_project --project-file=simulator/msvs/Application.vcxproj Done Post Generate Target touchgfx update_project --project-file=../STM32F7508-DK.ioc --platform=m7 Done Compile make -f ../gcc/Makefile -j8 Generating TouchGFX/generated/texts/src/Texts.cpp Generating TouchGFX/generated/texts/src/LanguageGb.cpp Compiling TouchGFX/generated/fonts/src/Font_verdana_40_4bpp_0.cpp Compiling TouchGFX/generated/fonts/src/Kerning_verdana_40_4bpp.cpp Compiling TouchGFX/generated/font
Is it possible to get the current screen as an index into the GeneratedViewTypes or GeneratedPresenterTypes lists?
Hi,I am trying to interface 7"(ETM0700G0BDH6) display with STM32F769 custom board but I am not sure about below parameters:1) What values should I fill in Layers setting in CubeMX2) What values should I fill for DMA2D parametersCan you please share some suggestions on how to calculate above values ?
Hi,When trying to upgrade a working 4.13 project I got this error:ERROR: LoadProgressBackground.int.png use of .int. is no longer supportedHow can I handle internal assets now? Thanks,Eyal
Hello, I'm working with TouchGFX on STM32F7. after added Screen1View::handleClickEvent function in Screen1View fiile, I can't call the ButtonCallbackHandle function in Screen1ViewBase file. In my ViewBase file, it has 2 callback function, 1 for Toggle Button and 1 for Slider. Below is my function, anyone can tell me how to use both of them? Many thanks.My Screen1View.cpp filevoid Screen1View::handleClickEvent(const ClickEvent& evt) { if (color_wheel.getRect().intersect(Rect(evt.getX(), evt.getY(), 1, 1))) { touchgfx_printf("\ncolor_wheel_x = %d",color_wheel.getX()); touchgfx_printf(", color_wheel_y = %d",color_wheel.getY()); touchgfx_printf("\nevt_x = %d", evt.getX()); touchgfx_printf(", evt_y = %d", evt.getY()); int offsetX = evt.getX() - color_center_x; int offsetY = evt.getY() - color_center_y; touchgfx_printf("\n offsetX: %d",offsetX); touchgfx_printf(" - offsetY: %d",offsetY); if (evt.getType() == ClickEvent::PRESSED) { const uint32_t dist = colorDistancesq(of
Is there any file explorer example to show the content of SD Card using touchGFX?Currently I'm designing HMI for Industrial automation, Where I need to provide optionto select/create a file for storing data acquired by some of the input channels.Kindly help me to design
Hello, region `FLASH' overflowed by 424008 bytes but i didn't added much image. I am using 128 Mb N25Q128A13EF840E QSPI flash. I just wanted to confirm how much QSPI is assigned.I can see below settings for QSPI.I want to know that Where should I check in my firmware to know assigned external flash size. I can't find in linker file? Also I want to see which all data is saved in QSPI 128Mbit .Any help
Hello,I saw keyboard example but all example for 180deg display orientation. I am using 480x272 LCD but screen orientation is 90deg than ı have 272x480 screen. In examples keyboard is on 320x240. How can I use this examples or Any solution avaiable ?Thanks.Ahmet.

Hi! After some struggle I got my SSD1963 LCD working. It's very basic right now, I still don't have resistive touch and SPI flash for storage working. I'm using an STM32F407 168MHz chinese development board. SDRAM is only 1MB 16-bit and my display resolution is 800x480 16-bit, which doesn't allow for a double buffer setup. I don't have any FPS measurement system yet, but screen refreshes are very slow. I'm coming from Atmel AVR 8-bit and still learning how to work with the way more complex STM32 ARM MCUs. I was able to make my driver for this display and initialize it, transfer data to it and make it work with TouchGFX, which is really nice. Now I understand the basics of GPIO, NVIC, FSMC, how to interface to LCD though it, how a RTOS work, etc. I'm curious to test using DMA to transfer data from external SRAM framebuffer (accessible by the address 0x68000000) to my display internal framebuffer (0x6C000000) and see how much offloading the CPU would help on getting faster transfers and
I want to get the MCU into low power mode, but I found that entering low power and exiting GFX would not work.So what should I do before going into low power?I used a DSI screen and DMA2D mode
Hi All.I have my own development board on STM32.TouchGfx 4.13.0 is ported to it.Displays box, button, scrollbox and text. The coordinates of the touchscreen I pass tobool STM32TouchController::sampleTouch(int32_t& x, int32_t& y) { if(touchDataReady == true) { x = tscX; // tscX is correct and given from I2C4 STM32H7BIT6 y = tscY; // tscY is correct and given from I2C4 STM32H7BIT6 touchDataReady = false; return true; } return false; }This function is permanently called from the TouchGfx kernel. On "View", the overrided "handleTickEvent()" works well, but my overrided"handleClickEvent()" not called. The screen does not respond to clicks. This is my third development with the TouchGfx.Used version 4.13.0 and STM32H746BIT6Two previous boards were built on controllers STM32F746 with TouchGfx 4.10.0and work fine.Help me, please!
Due to popular demand, here's the information we have on interfacing with peripherals on an STM32F769-DISCO board in a TouchGFX Application.I have two resources for this:Video: I did a webinar last year on this topic where we create an application using v4.9.3 of the TouchGFX designer and interact with push buttons through a GUI + turn on an LED using a TouchGFX Button: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQO7zhX0e0QArticle: https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/touchgfx-engine-features/backend-communication/. Here are the direct links for the demos i did in TouchGFX 4.9.3 (should be upgradeable) using GPIO and EXTI approach: EXTI, GPIO.Disclaimer: The examples in the article are not maintained throughout new versions of TouchGFX. Feel free to comment if you have any issues. Thank you!Best regards,Martin
I am using External events as triggers example for reference.https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/board-bring-up/example-gpio/I have successfully changed box color with external events using STM32F429-DISC0 kit. Now, I want to use USR_BTN ( only single button ) key for screen transition. I have add two interactions in TouchGFX Designer. For that I have made two screens, and want to change screen whenever USR_BTN is pressed. For example: Currently, I am on Screen1 and press the key then screen should be changed to Screen2 and vice versa. But whenever USR_BTN key is pressed, screen is not transitioned smoothly. LCD will flicker for some time. I want smooth transition in between. What should I do for that?
Hello,i'm trying to execute a simple animation with TouchGFX. I'm using the Texture Mapper image, and i want to reproduce a spin of that image. As you can see in this video it was succesfully done. However, there is an extra random flashing.I'm using the internal FLASH memory, for now. I think the problem comes from the RAM or from DMA. The latter was configured as Register to Memory, and i enables the interrupt. While the RAM is a 16 bit (maybe too low?).The code to create the animation isscreenViewBase.cpp/*********************************************************************************/ /********** THIS FILE IS GENERATED BY TOUCHGFX DESIGNER, DO NOT MODIFY ***********/ /*********************************************************************************/ #include <gui_generated/screen_screen/screenViewBase.hpp> #include <touchgfx/Color.hpp> #include "BitmapDatabase.hpp" screenViewBase::screenViewBase() { box1.setPosition(0, 0, 720, 720); box1.setColor(touchgf
Hi everybody!I am facing a strange problem - I see artifacts on the screen, but only if it is on the active screen- if a new screen with transparent background fade in, the old one (below) is fine and a new one is still with the artifacts! I am using LTDC with DMA2d on STM32H7A3. Timings are ok.Ideas what could be wrong?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5FKZxjEHus
Hello, I am using STM32F746 discovery board with Touchgfx. As LCD data size is more( Assume 5 MB), I need to put in external QSPI flash. We can store QSPI data in indirect mode and read with memory mapped mode of QSPI. I found that with changes in linker file and with some setting in IDE, we can able to program QSPI with internal flash. But suppose if i just want to share .hex file of application to other person, In that case how should we flash QSPI data ? I am not able to understand that process. Any suggestion? Thanks
I'm trying to use a display with R61526A controller following the tutorial on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTeNyY_g5i0 but the display still in black screen and doesn't responds. Anyone have application with similar display?
MCU : STM32F746I
Examples presented show the declaration of an empty virtual method in the listener, and override it in the presenter. However, in the case of multiple screens and the same action will be taken, there will be multiple redundancy.
I'm not able to implement in the right way following this guide. https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/board-bring-up/example-gpio/Thank you
Using TouchGfx 4.14.0, select "Understanding Application Structure" example and run on target (stm32f469i-disco).It will stack overflow on the 3rd transition:The cure is to increase stack size from 2048 to 3072 (\TouchGFXProjects\MyApplication_1\Core\Src\main.c, line 69).Please fix!
Hi,I have already used the STM32F746G-DISCO board in order to check different functionalities :Custom screen (7.0" TFT LCD 800x480) with capacitive touchTouchGFXQSPII2C / Serial... Its works fine !Currently, I want to use a custom board provided by the supplier based on the following MCU : STM32F746BGTx.He assured me that the operation is the same as the processor of the demoboard.I added different features but I have a problem...Custom screen (7.0" TFT LCD 800x480) with capacitive touch : colors and touchscreen is not okQSPI : error when starting debuggingErasing memory corresponding to segment 0: Erasing internal memory sectors [0 4] Erasing memory corresponding to segment 1: Erasing external memory sectors [0 1] Download in Progress: File download complete Time elapsed during download operation: 00:00:50.605 Verifying ... Is the colon between the hours and minutes in the digital clock accessible? Is there a way to make it blink at the "seconds" ?
When it comes to the imageProgress widget, can someone tell me if the entire rectangle is re-rendered (invalidated) when the function setValue() is called? Or only the parts that are changing rendered? It appears to me that it is. Animation performance would be better if only the parts changing are rendered.Note that I do have "Anchor progress image at zero" selected.I did search through the TouchGFX documentation, but did not find an answer to this question.
