I am developing a board based on STM32H747XIH6 MCU. When TouchGFX support will be added in additional software section of CubeIDE?
I am using STM32H745 MCU, the dual core support for Touchgfx is rolled out in 4.17, but from the touchgfx designer there is no application template for STM32H745, If some body have the same plz share or let me know when it will be released ?
Windows 10, TouchGFX Designer 4.17.0, STM32CubeIDE 1.6.1, Simulator (STM32F469 Disco board present). What I'm trying to do:I'm creating a ScrollWheel - manually, without TouchGFX Designer. I use auto-generated ScrollWheel code from Base.cpp as a base code for my own element in View.cpp so that I can customize stuff the way I want (generated on another screen - I just needed pieces of auto-generated code as a base for my code). In View.cpp (and hpp), I have manually created ScrollWheel with one custom container (no special container for the selected item). The custom container itself is pre-created in Designer, I only link my own scrollwheel to that custom container (attempts at creating custom container outside TouchGFX Designer failed). Then I add callback and whatnot. And it even kinda works correctly (code coming). What goes wrong:What's interesting is that my ScrollWheel's update item callback function is only called while I scroll between 0-6th elements out of 0-9 elements (=touchgf
Hi All,Does anyone can confirm that is possible to send video signal via B-LCDAD-HDMI1 converter to some monitor with a HDMI connector?Best RegardsAndrzej
Most of the sample shows how to add these ranges to the Wildcard Range0-9,A-Z,a-zHow does one add punctuation chars into the Typography using TouchGFX designer?. period ? question mark ! exclamation point .. etcAdding it as comma separators in Wildcard Ranges does not work.Do we need to do it using the other columns? If so what is the difference between "Wildcard Characters" and "Widget Wildcard Characters"?Also, with these being generated as glyphs, am I right to think that Wildcard ranges for larger point fonts will consume more code space? (i.e. 15pt vs 32pt fonts of the same typography)Thanks for everyone's time
What is the Max resolution supported in TouchGFX 4.17 with FMC display interface ? I am using a display with 800 x 480 resolution, will that work ? Display comes with a controller board using SSD1963 IC with 8080 / 6800 interface mode. Problem is that the controller board does not have Tearing Effect signal taken out on the interface pins. Please find the attached display datasheet. In this case how to drive "OSWrappers::signalVSync()" as TouchGFX documentation mentions using Tearing Effect signal interrupts for this purpose ? There has to be some way because I have already interfaced this display using STM32F4 and ST-EMWIN in my existing product. If I use this same LCD without the controller board then it requires external LCD timing controller as per display datasheet. So am I right in my interpretation that I cannot interface this display directly in parallel mode from LTDC ?If I use FMC display to interface with display having embedded RAM like SSD1963 then I don't require to
The TouchGFXDesigner v4.17.0 will keep freezing. The program does not respond to the mouse and keyboard. When you try to close the program, you are asked whether you want to save the changes, but you cannot do anything or select anything. In this state you can no longer activate the window.
Look over the debug message, my screen szie is oversize. Can I set the default screen size bigger? My screen widget is in a selfmake container, so that is hard to separate into different screens.debug message: error palce:
I want to display 2 images in a screen, but it only display 1 image when used IAR to generate code. The project does not make any changes and generates code in KEIL, then it succeeds. (The code optimizations is none and CSTACK / HEAP space is large enough in IAR.)

Hi, I want to make a big image gradually darken, I used setAlpha() and invalidate() function in handleTickEvent(), but frequent use of setAlpha() and invalidate() function slows down tick time.Is there a better way to implement this feature?
I am working on one project where am integrating the stm32 hardware peripheral with micro python. I have designed one gui in the touch GFX IDE generated the code. While integrating it with Micropython , due to its mixing of C and C++ code iam unable to compile it . Would any one having experience or worked on this thing help me because i stuck at this thing ? Looking forward t hear from you ?
Trying to decide if TouchGFX with some variant of STM32H7 is the right solution for us and the Boss wants to know how big of a screen we can expect to drive and still get quality resolution and snappy feel. How do I determine memory requirements and refresh time?
hi I was wondering if with libmjepg middolware it is possible to use opencv, and if it were which mcu interface should I use? thanks
I guess its linker error probably. My rest of project is in C. Through function generator of XCUBE_TOUCHGFX. Created a Touchgfx project.I am facing this issue. Please help. Now i dont think so i can reconstruct the project in C++ since Tgfx is C++ there must be a way to simply change options with linker only the Touchgfx.
The project created by stm32f469 is set to RGB565. Asking if 24Bit Foramt can be used when using images in TouchGFX.As far as I know, RGB565 is 16Bit and 24Bit is in RGB888 format. Can I use a 24Bit image? If the setting is RGB565, can you tell me if I must use a 16Bit image?
Hello,I'm trying to setup a system with STM32F7 with hardware FPU, TouchGFX and VisualGDB. I can compile, however during linking I get the following error:TouchGFXConfiguration.cpp Linking VisualGDB/Debug/Ozonclean... c:/sysgcc/arm-eabi/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/9.2.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: VisualGDB/Debug/TouchGFXConfiguration.o: in function `FrontendApplication::handleTickEvent()': Z:/Progetti_in_corso/OZONCLEAN/FW/Rev00/TouchGFX/gui/include/gui/common/FrontendApplication.hpp:18: undefined reference to `Model::tick()' c:/sysgcc/arm-eabi/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/9.2.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: VisualGDB/Debug/TouchGFXConfiguration.o: in function `FrontendHeapBase::gotoStartScreen(FrontendApplication&)': Z:/Progetti_in_corso/OZONCLEAN/FW/Rev00/TouchGFX/generated/gui_generated/include/gui_generated/common/FrontendHeapBase.hpp:75: undefined reference to `FrontendApplicationBase::gotoMainScreenNoTransition()' c:/sysgcc/arm-eabi/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none
Hello,I want to design a small interface board connecting to the camera interface of the H747 DISCO board through a flat flexible cable. Will AFC07-S30ECA be compatible ?Can you recommend a flat cable and its part number ?Thanks,Christian
Maybe someone from Touchgfx can help in this
Hi,I am designing the transition of screens. How to write the transition function in user code graciously? I just generate the unused interation in the screen which does the action of changing screen and call the action generated "gotoScreenSildeTransition". I don't think it is an elegant style. By the way it does the transition in a low frame rate if a big image with alpha channel in it. So how can I do to increase the frame rate? Now it seems that setting the image invisual before transition start is useful./forgive my poor english.hhh/JJLin
Hi,i use DSI Host with generation in separate file dsihost.cIn HAL_DSI_MspInit CubeMX and STM32IDE generate next lines/* DSI clock enable */__HAL_RCC_DSI_CLK_ENABLE();( );__HAL_RCC_GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE();error: expected expression before ')' token
I have developed a custom bootloader for updating the fw via usb stick for stm32F7...I would like to integrate the possibility to update the external flash memory via quadspi... Which are the adds what I should introduce to the initial bootloader in order to update the external memory? Is it enough to add the quadspi connectivity in the ioc project and then import two files (quadspi_cmd.h and quadspi_cmd.c) and after reading the content of the usb stick call the routine CSP_QSPI_WriteMemory? Thanks a lot for your kind support
Hello Dear Engineers,I am looking for using DMA2D with stm32f429IGT6. So far I have been able to use RAM and LCD in cooperation. Now I want to use LVGL as the main framework. The main problem is I don't know how should I use dma2d in the bare-metal case. I was able to use it with Touchgfx, but the configuration then is made by stm32cubemx and the Touchgfx designer. The flush routine is as followsstatic void tft_lcd_flush_cb(lv_disp_drv_t * drv, const lv_area_t * area, lv_color_t * color_p) { for(int y = area->y1; y <= area->y2; y++) for(int x = area->x1; x <= area->x2; x++) LCD_FB[x+(y * LV_HOR_RES_MAX)]=(color_p++->full); //pixelColor; // HAL_DMA2D_Start(&hdma2d, &color_p[0], &LCD_FB[0], 800, 480); // lv_gpu_stm32_dma2d_fill(LCD_FB, 800*480, color_p, 800, 480); lv_disp_flush_ready(drv); }In the code above, LCD_FB is a pointer to the LCD address which is associated with external RAM. In the mentioned code, the nested for{for{}} are working perfec
Hello, I have a STM32H747-DISCO Discovery kit. I am still fairly new to STM32 so forgive my ignorance but I was wondering what is the most efficient way (in terms of cpu usage) to perform a picture perfect image upscale on a bitmap image (see picture below). From the link below it seems that it might be possible to offload some of the resizing work onto the DMA2D/Chrom-art accelerator but I am having trouble analyzing the source code. https://www.electro-tech-online.com/articles/stm32f429-dma2d-bilinear-bitmap-resize.735/Anyone have anymore examples, information or alternative solutions on this problem?
