hello. As I said in the title, I would like to know the exact Bluetooth version information for both MCUs.I recognize the Bluetooth version of stm32wb5mmg as '5.0'. However, the datasheet and MCU website say that the Bluetooth version is '5.4'. Which version is correct?I would also like to know the Bluetooth version information of stm32wb1mmc.Is there a way to find out the exact Bluetooth version information? The datasheet is attached, and below is the MCU website I checked.stm32wb5mmg website:https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32wb5mmg.htmlstm32wb1mmc website:https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32wb1mmc.html

The last update of CubeIDE is like below:I have this warning and I don't understand what it is:"C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.3.0/STM32CubeIDE/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.12.3.rel1.win32_1.0.100.202403111256/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/12.3.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: warning: FW_code123_R1-0.elf has a LOAD segment with RWX permissions" After this CubeIDE update, the FW update is required for ST_Link/V2 ProgrammerI pressed the "Open in update mode" button. The error bellow is present now, like bellow:What can I do to solve this aspect?I can't use the programmer to program the micro controller or to make a FW debug. Thanks in advancedConstantinP.S.before of this last update, the mentioned warning was not present. I used the same FW code. And the ST_Link/V2 FW update was working every time when the CubeIDE requested for itThe ST_Link/V2 programmer is OK. I use it on the other PC and I test it also using ST_Link Utility and on this tool

Hi everybody,I am trying to use the audio on stm32f746g-disco.I can hardly find a tutorial for this. Many solutions got their way to solve it and left not much details.lots of the solutions guide to the examples in CubeMX , but they seems a little bit old and I can't figure out what is the examples are doing For now I tried to init SAI2B to receive data but it not like getting any valid data or triggering half and complete callbacki've attached my main.c ,and the setting of SAI B and its dmatake a look if you have timethank you

Microcontroller: STM32L051R8Tx (MSI used as system clock, set to 4.194 MHz) Board: custom design (no Nucleo etc.)The LPTIM1 is clocked by an external LSE (32,768 kHz, +- 10ppm).IDE: Keil uVision V5.36.0.0Compiler: ARM Compiler “Use default compiler Version 5”I scheduled a recurring task with help of LPTIM1 and it’s IRQ. The timer is set to 500ms. The task processing time is around 130ms (measured with help of TIMER21). I observed a latency which is becoming visible over time. After 4080 interrupts (after 34:00 minutes, 4080/2/60) the timer is lagging ~9 seconds (in my application, a few hundred milliseconds wouldn’t be a problem at all). In case this time is getting “lost” evenly per interrupt it would mean >2ms per interrupt. It seems to be unrealistic latency, isn’t it?Secondly, if I replace the task by a delay function of the same time duration (or simple comment the task out), there is no considerable latency at all. 34:00 minutes on the microcontroller equal to 34:00 minutes on

I am using the STM32U575xx and found stackoverflow questions regarding the DWT->CYCLCNT.c - STM32 - How to enable DWT Cycle counter - Stack Overflow I tested this and it works fine, but I'd like to have documentation aside from the header file.I'd like to learn more about1. CoreDebug->DEMCR bits2. ITM->LAR

Through an error, i found out, that the interrupt (FDCAN line 0) fires twice, when only one is activated. (See topic https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/compiler-optimized-program-has-errors/m-p/652965#M25387).How can i now find the actual cause. My head is already spinning form all the investigation so far. Update: trimmed the code:Only the initializations are executed.HAL_StatusTypeDef TK_FDCAN_GetRx0Message( FDCAN_HandleTypeDef *hfdcan, struct can_frame *cFrame) { uint32_t *RxAddress; uint32_t GetIndex; // If no messages if ((hfdcan->Instance->RXF0S & FDCAN_RXF0S_F0FL) == 0U) return HAL_TIMEOUT; /* Calculate Rx FIFO 0 element address */ GetIndex = ((hfdcan->Instance->RXF0S & FDCAN_RXF0S_F0GI) >> FDCAN_RXF0S_F0GI_Pos); RxAddress = (uint32_t *)(hfdcan->msgRam.RxFIFO0SA + (GetIndex * SRAMCAN_RF0_SIZE)); /* Retrieve Identifier */ cFrame->id = ((*RxAddress & FDCAN_ELEMENT_MASK_STDID) >> 18U); // /* Retrieve Erro

Hello,is it right that STM32WB55CGU6TR is already pre-loaded with FUS v1.2.0.0?

Dear Team, I recently created a custom PCB where I wanted to implement the STUSB4710(A) for charging a phone and other accessories. The STUSB4710 should be plug and play without the need of configuring the PDO because it is already selected. I based my design on the valuation board of this IC: STEVAL-ISC004V1. I will attach a file with my schematics. So when I attach my Samsung A53 it will say that is is attached to a fast charger but when I look at the ampere app I charge with a current of 200mA which is almost nothing. So I started measuring and encountered an issue where the VBUS has a stable 5V which is good, but there isn't any current running from the to the usb-c connector as I also saw in the app. I read some registers trying to find out what the problem is via I²C and read the register of the CC_STATUS (0x11h) I found this in the file that was posted in a other post. here I can see that I get the following value 0x89 which means: (0x80) twisted cc2 lines (OK), (0x09)&n

I am looking to implement back button to go back to previous screen (similar to UI on a smart phone). For this,1. Need to remember current screen before a button is pressed.2. In the new screen, when a back button is pressed, programmatically change to previous screen. It would need a common memory area where current screen can be saved. This information should be accessible from any screen so that it can be read when a back button on that particular screen is pressed. Here is a scenario:There is title bar with a button, say Button1.Screen 1 leads to Screen 2. Screen 2 leads to Screen 3. All screens have title bar with same Button1.Two ways to reach screen 3. First, by clicking the Button1 on title bar (a short cut). Second, Screen1 to Screen 2 to Screen3.Screen3 has a back button. When present screen is Screen1 and Screen3 is reached by pressing the Button1, if a back button is pressed in Screen3 then Screen1 should be reached. When transition is Screen1 to Screen2 to Screen3, if a

Hi everybody, I have been looking for the charateristics (like ppm/temperature dependency) of the LSE crystal included in the STM32WBMMG, but I have not been able to find on its datasheet. Is there another document I am missing where the information about the LSE crystal can be found? Thanks in advance!

The PKA peripheral can precompte the montgomery parameter, which is documented as "R2 mod n". If I compute this offline with R being the normal (2 ^ b) [b the numbers of bits in the modulus n], I am getting a different result than what PKA computes. I did see there was a "computeR2.exe" for BlueNRG-LPS (also with PKA peripheral), but no source. Is there anywhere documentation or source code of how to precompute the "Montgomery Parameter" used by the PKA peripheral ?

I am practicing reading L3GD20 data built into the stm32f411e-discovery kit. I use SPI1 to communicate with L3GD20. I watched on YouTube, they have instructions on how to use the void function HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback. I cannot call the void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback function to read data from the sensor. Debug only receives the value from the bar but not the value read from the sensor I use pin PE1 (configuration: Rising edge trigger detection, Pull-up ). Below is an image of my code. I need help. Thanks everyone

Hello everyone!I just started learning how to use the STM32WB-Chips on the Nucleo-WB55RG and followed this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zgw3wRpGSRQ&list=PLnMKNibPkDnG9JRe2fbOOpVpWY7E4WbJ-&index=17After that I tried to make a function (following the steps mentioned in the tutorial above) which I can use in the main.c to send custom data to the PC. However when I call this function in the main loop the advertismenet  disappear and I cannot find the reason why. Can you guys help me with this?In the app_conf.h I wrote648 /* USER CODE BEGIN Defines */ 649 void ble_updateChar(uint8_t); 650 /* USER CODE END Defines */ ... 671 /* USER CODE BEGIN CFG_Task_Id_With_HCI_Cmd_t */ 672 CFG_TASK_BLE_UPDATE, 673 /* USER CODE END CFG_Task_Id_With_HCI_Cmd_t */In the app_ble.c268 /* USER CODE BEGIN APP_BLE_Init_1 */ 269 UTIL_SEQ_RegTask(1<<CFG_TASK_BLE_UPDATE, UTIL_SEQ_RFU, ble_updateChar); 270 UTIL_SEQ_SetTask(1<<CFG_TASK_BLE_UPDATE, CFG_SCH_PRIO_0); 271 /

Dear all,I've been following this video on YT on how to get the FDCAN on my discovery board (STM32H735G) to work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sY1ie-CnOR0 . Note that this is the 2nd video of a series, if you want to watch it. Now, my problem is not with the video but with why the code doesn't work on my board. The full code you can find attached to this post. The code compiles and runs without a problem, however, when I reach the if (HAL_FDCAN_AddMessageToTxFifoQ(&hfdcan1, &TxHeader1, TxData1)!= HAL_OK)line in the while(1) loop the second time around, it throws an error. I have been unable to identify what the error is or how to solve it, however, I had a look at the pins with an oscilloscope to confirm the existence of a signal or the lack thereof. I did not see a signal. What I find interesting is that it succeeds the first time but only gives an error the second time around.Any insights and solutions are welcome!

I set the parameter of TIM5 of my MCU on CubeMX,the frequency of the clock is 72 MHz,PSC is 7199,ARR is 199,the information about my settings is below: TIM5 is used to output 4  channels of PWM to control four SG90 servos,TIM1 toTIM4 is used to control four Ultrasonic ranging module,I use this sentence to initialize four servos: I think these servos should turn to 0 degree, but in fact it turn to 90 degrees and stuck there,I don't know the reason why it happened.I hope someone can heip me solve this problem,it has been made me confused for several days

How do I connect x-nucleo-lpm01a with STM32WB5MM-DK to test power?I am using the RF module from STM32WB5MM-DK and not the one from P-NUCLEO-WB55.I know that there is a video for P-NUCLEO-WB55. Is there a video/guide for STM32WB5MM-DK as well?

Hello,Can someone at ST provide explicit, step-by-step instructions describing in detail how to generate a project for the STM32H755 with TouchGFX running on the CM7 processor? All the posts I've seen online seem to describe ways of hacking projects together involving copying, editing, copying .cproject files, moving TouchGFX files around, deleting simulation files, etc. I've spent days on this now and always seems to end up with a project that can't build because the tools can't find TouchGFX files because TouchGFX generated those files in the wrong place (according to where CubeIDE thought they should be). My board has a working SDRAM, working LTDC correctly displaying whatever I write to the frame buffer in the SDRAM, etc. I have regenerated this project countless times now but always end up in the same place.1. What tool should I be starting my project with? CubeIDE? CubeMX? TouchGFX?2. What should the project structure look like when configured properly? What does the project dire

Hello,I am struggling with the individual RX CAN Message Filter RXIMRx on SPC570S.First Question:Is there an Application Note available for the SPC57x Note like it is for the for SPC58x (TN1348).Second Question:I want to use the RX CAN Message Filter RXIMR0 without FIFO.How is the extended bit IDE and the RTR handled in the filter oris it ok to handle extended and standard format only with the filter-range.If so how ist RTR activated deactivated. Kind regards in advance

Hi,For TrustZone enabled project (U5), TouchGFX configuration in CubeMX can't recognize enabled THREADX.Any ideas? Two screenshots attached:one for TrustZone enabled project setup and another one for the exact same but Non-TrustZone project. For the former it can be seen that THREADX option is greyed-out and cannot be selected, while for latter everything highlighted as expected.CubeMX generates correct project for non-TrustZone enabled project.TouchGFX version is 23.1, CubeMX is 6.10.0Thanks

I have been struggling for a few days now with trying to trigger an interaction within TouchGFX (V4.23.1) via a hardware button.The board is a STM32H747i Discovery. The board bring up has been completed with a standard TouchGFX template and the touch screen and display are working fine.I have verified that I can toggle LED4 with the wake button suing a RTOS function   #define LED4_GPIO_Port GPIOI #define LED4_Pin GPIO_PIN_15 ... /* USER CODE BEGIN RTOS_THREADS */ osThreadId_t toggleLEDTaskHandle; const osThreadAttr_t toggleLEDTask_attributes = { .name = "toggleLEDTask", .stack_size = 128 * 4, // Adjust stack size as needed .priority = (osPriority_t) osPriorityNormal, }; toggleLEDTaskHandle = osThreadNew(ToggleLEDTask, NULL, &toggleLEDTask_attributes); /* USER CODE END RTOS_THREADS */ ... /* USER CODE BEGIN 4 */ void ToggleLEDTask(void *argument) { uint8_t ledState = 0; // Track LED state, 0 = off, 1 = on for(;;) { if(HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(BTN_USER_G

I have been reading a bit about neopixels and the communication protocol they work. I have been searching for a library for the WS2812B neopixel but could not find one that would work out of the box hence I have decided to write my own neopixel driver. This would also help me further understand DMA peripheral. It is worth mentioning that I use STM32CubeIDE as my development environment and I use STM32CubeMX to configure the peripherals.  When setting up my project I refered to the example below:https://controllerstech.com/pwm-with-dma-in-stm32/but I still could not get it to work properly. I suspect that the issues lies within the DMA.1.Clock configurationI have decided to use TIM2. According to the STM32F407 Block diagram (STM32F407 Datasheet ) , this Timer connects to AHB/APB1 hence I have set the APB1 to 48MHz to achieve the required Clock frequency for the neopixels. 2. Timer configuration: 3. DMA configuration: 4.  Full source code: &nb
