Hello, I am trying to boot a Hi-Speed USB Device application using the STM32MP135F-DK by loading it from an SD card to DDR3, but it is not working. To investigate the issue, I am trying to boot CDC_Standalone that is included in STM32Cube_FW_MP13_V1.1.0 by loading it from an SD card to DDR3, but it is not going well too. I am following the procedure as below.Change the linker script of CDC_Standalone to use DDR_BASE as attached "stm32mp13xx_a7_ddr.ld.txt" and define USE_DDR.Reference: Build application for DDRChange CDC_Standalone to sign the application via postbuild steps and scripts.Reference: Create signed application.Create a loader for the signed CDC_Standalone based on SD_Ext_Loader in STM32Cube_FW_MP13_V1.1.0.Write the application to an SD card via UART interface by using STM32CubeProgrammer and try to boot it.Reference: How_to_load_and_start_STM32CubeMP13_applications_via_microSD_cardAfter following the procedure, the blue LED lights up momentaril

Hi,  I am attempting to obtain readings from the LIS2DTW12 accelerometer on board, utilizing the SPI interface and an STM32F098RCT6 microcontroller.I’m accessing the ‘who_am_i’ register along with the high and low registers for the x, y, and z axes. Upon debugging, I’ve found that the high and low values for the x, y, and z axes are consistently 0xff, resulting in raw x, y, and z values of 0xffff. Notably, these values remain unchanged even when the board is in motion.Please help me.Here is the code:     #define LIS2DTW12_WHO_IAM_I_ADDR 0x0F #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_X_L_ADDR 0x28 #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_X_H_ADDR 0x29 #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_Y_L_ADDR 0x2A #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_Y_H_ADDR 0x2B #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_Z_L_ADDR 0x2C #define LIS2DTW12_OUT_Z_H_ADDR 0x2D uint8_t LIS2DTW12_ReadReg(uint8_t reg){ uint8_t Received_data = 0; uint8_t address = reg | 0x80; HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_4, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1, &address,1

Hello, My STM32G030F6P6 is working fine with the power supply from Laptops USB Port. I am just running simple I2C Scan program. When I power up the STM with charging adapter it is not able to show me the i2c scanned devices on serial monitor. I am using Arduino to get data through uart and display it on the serial monitor. Please provide the necessary circuitry to make stm chip work with any power supply like various charging adapters.

Can NFC tags be used between one another to create a grid? Or do I need to rely on BLE?For example, and without extreme accuracy, to understand that tag1 is located in back right corner of a small room. Tag2 is located in back left corner of same 10x10 small room. And that tags 3-10 are in additional locations in the same room. Assuming that each tag is within 1-3 feet of one another. Thanks, jan

Dear Team,Under what scenarios does the api rfalNfcvPollerExtendedReadMultipleBlocks () return RFAL_ERR_NOMEM ?I am reading a maximum of 15 blocks always and the flags is RFAL_NFCV_REQ_FLAG_DEFAULT.Most of the times this works as expected and it fails rarely (example: 1/100 times). Could you please tell the scenarios this could happen ?RFAL version used is 2.8.0regards,Daan

I want to configure a stm32wb55rg as BLE gateway and ESP32 as BLE node such that ESP32 can send data sensor. The  data also needs to be sent to UART or Mobile Phone. Can anyone suggest me a MOOC or may be a document that can  be used as a manual to perform this task.

Hi,I need to use the STM32C011F4 multichannel ADC like I used to 20 years ago with other microprocessors. That is:Select ADC channel (0, 1, 5 or 6)Start ADC conversionWait for EOCRead ADC valueStop ADCIn this application I don't want to use DMA or Interrupts. Can someone please help me with this? I'm not able to find any example of this basic operation.gaston

I am using LSM6DSOX for my project. As far as I understand, meta-classifiers need to be separate for each function (for my project). But I cannot separate two_hands_free and pushing_chart functions. I think this would pose a problem for machine learning. Is this really the case? Will this cause a problem? What should I do to separate these two? And also how is the meta-classifier determined? Should I collect more data to separate these two?

Board: NUcleo 64-G474  I just want to read 2 channels of an ADC but am presented with a bewildering array of incredibly confusing options: Ranks, Continuous mode, discontinous mode, number of conversions, oversampling, triggers, etc, etc, etc. The embedded "help" is completely useless.I have two SE channels of ADC1 enabled (1 and 2), and I want to sample them both NOT in DMA. Seems reaonsonable but after hours of trying I can find nothing that works, and no resources to help. I'm trying the code below and various offshoots of it.   while (1)  {   HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); // start the adc  HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, 1000); // poll for conversion  adc1_val = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); // get the adc value   HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); // start the adc  HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, 1000); // poll for conversion  adc2_val = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); // get the adc value  HAL_ADC_Stop(&hadc

Hi everyone,I am currently using this board to connect to my Ndivia jetson nano device, i checked the usb devices connected to the jeson nano and it still reconize the board. Also, i have successfully generated STUHFL.so file and a STUHFL_demo.out file as the document instructed . However, when i access the .out file the device couldn't reconized the board FW which result in v0.0.0.0 and the program terminated. How can i fix this? Also, the board still work well with window OS devices

I'm developing a system with a GMS module, where AT commands are sent to the module via an STM32L0.In this case, I'm having problems with the AT+CSTT command, which was giving me an ERROR. After a lot of thought, I realized that the error was due to the fact that the command was going to the module with the T for AT missing (A+CSTT). I'm working with the commands like this:void sendAT(char command[], char answer[], int waitForAnswer) { char ATcommand[500]; uint8_t buffer[500] = { 0 }; uint8_t ATisOK = 0; sprintf(ATcommand, "%s\r\n", command);     DEBUG_PRINT("Sending AT Command: ");     DEBUG_PRINT(ATcommand); while (!ATisOK) { HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t*) ATcommand, strlen(ATcommand), 2000); HAL_UART_Receive(&huart2, buffer, sizeof(buffer) - 1, 300); buffer[sizeof(buffer) - 1] = '\0'; HAL_Delay(500); ATisOK = !waitForAnswer; if (strstr((char*) buffer, "OK")) { ATisOK = 1; } DEBUG_PRINT("GSM: "); DEBUG_PRINT((char* ) buffer); HAL_Delay

I have an ADC voltage ranging from +10V to -10V.How can i read both the positive and negative value ranging from +10V to -10V on the same ADC pin.  Thanks & Regards,Prakash

Hello,I plan to use a cover glass on top of a VL53L8CX sensor. I understand that I need to perform a calibration to account for the crosstalk effect. According to the forum and datasheet, this calibration requires using an object with a known reflectance percentage. I have two questions about this process:Can I use a board covered with printing paper, setting the reflectance percentage to 88%, and place it approximately 1 meter away from the sensor for calibration, as suggested in the comments? The datasheet mentions measuring reflectance with "vl53l8 REFLECTANCE_PERCENT." Can I use the value obtained from measuring my detected object's reflectance to calibrate the sensor when the cover glass is applied?Thank you.

Hi, Im interfacing STW81200 with SPI without no success. I do have the following questions:What the SPI mode? Its not clear on the datasheet. It seems that CPOL = 1, and CPHA = 1.In either way, I have tested the communication with several modes and none of them works. On the MCU side, which is the one that will act as a master on spi, whats the configuration for the GPIO pin? Im using STM32L412 and I have set the MISO as an alternate function with push pull open drain and this does not work either.I can confirm that the SPI signal for SCLK and MOSI its working because the data is being pushed out of the pins. Please see the logic analyzer graphs, but MOSI line is not responding.Im following the datasheet section Example of register programming, its required when programming in SPI to have enabled a reference clock or this can be absent? Also, when the MCU is configuring for spi, it clear HW_PD, PD_RF_1 pins.

I have a design using USART1 on an STM32F3 as a LIN slave receiver using the old standard peripheral drivers from ST Micro.  The code is too much to post here, but I have LIN Break Detect and RX Not Empty interrupts enabled, and for some reason under some condition (not sure the cause yet), an interrupt is firing in USART1 and not getting cleared so the code is stuck in the ISR.My first question: are there any LIN examples from ST Micro using the standard peripheral drivers? E.g. functions like USART_ReceiveData(), USART_GetITStatus(), etc. I have not been successful in finding any.My second question: what is triggering the USART interrupt and why isn't it getting cleared? The code for the setup and ISR for USART1 is below.  The idea is, a LIN Break Detect interrupt on USART1 indicates the start of a LIN message, so clear the message buffer and reset the buffer index.  Subsequent RXNE interrupts are for the message bytes being received; after receiving 0x55 (LIN sync) and

Hello,I am developing a new product with the STM32h753, and we are trying to use both SBSFU and SFI. The secure boot implementation was already integrated and working before tackling SFI. When tackling SFI, I first tested it with a simple program without secure boot. This worked perfectly, exactly as advertised. Then I tried using SFI on our debug binary. This binary was the combined SBSFU + User application binary where the bootloader exists at the normal program counter and the user application exists in the first slot. This version of our bootloader had all the protections disabled. (RDP 0 WRP 0 etc.). This is the working firmware of our application, and I tested it with normal programming before testing SFI. So finally I build the SFI image to test the SFI and the STM32CubeProgrammer had some errors, but it seems to complete correctly. Then the device became inaccessible. I tried accessing the device with USB and UART while enabling boot 0 as well as STLINK and the device just does

Hello, Friends, I am using ADC(16 bit) to measure the STM32H747 Internal Temperature and VrefInt based on external reference voltage (VDDA 3.3V, Vref+ 2.5V). The VrefInt result is 1.221V, which looks good. However, the temperature result is 150C, which seems not correct. From the STM32H747xl/G datasheet, there are temperature sensor calibration values TS_CAL1(30C) and TS_CAL2(130C). The formular to get real temperature is (130-30)*(myADCValue-TS_CAL1)/(TS_CAL2-TS_CAL1)+30. Here are my questions: 1) Is the formular correct? 2)Which reference voltage value is used when TS_CAL2/TS_CAL1 values are read during the calibration? I am using 2.5V external voltage in my design.    Regards, YH

I am currently working on a H723 based HS USB device with external USB PHY (USB3320,USB3340,USB3300 tested). While testing i have noticed that seemingly randomly between debug/flash cycles HS USB stops working with usually no activity on the bus but the HAL Phy setup usually still succeeds enabling the PHY but leading to an unknown device for the host. After replacing the H7 everything works again indicating some internal damage. This has happened several times on different revisions each with other protection attempts already so i can rule out a random bad or damaged chip. The closest matching report is this post hinting at possibly the weirdly unprotected analog switched PC2_C and PC3_C pins which are also present and used for DIR and NXT on the H723V.There has never been activity on any ULPI pins coming from the STM after the initial HAL PHY setup with these damaged parts so damage within or behind the analog switch seems plausible that it does not see the NXT/DIR signals but could be

Hello,I'm looking for some troubleshooting advice. I saw a few tickets regarding this kind of problem and confirmed that __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE() is called before setting the initial voltage scaling. This test code is completely auto-generated from IOC configured for 160MHz SYSCLK/HCLK (driven by PLLCLK which is sourced by 24MHz MSIS) and LL library for RCC, with no custom code. The code works on several of our custom development boards but does not work on their production counterparts. Both use STM32U585QII6. I assume there is some unexpected hardware difference (they're supposed to be "the same"), but I am not sure how to investigate. The debugger will crash with no debug info when stepping into or over the MODIFY_REG() statement below, where VoltageScaling is LL_PWR_REGU_VOLTAGE_SCALE1.__STATIC_INLINE void LL_PWR_SetRegulVoltageScaling(uint32_t VoltageScaling){MODIFY_REG(PWR->VOSR, PWR_VOSR_VOS, VoltageScaling);}When I inspect the PWR register on dev boards that work

I have been using STM32CubeIDE (Version: 1.10.1) with STM32CubeMX - STM32 Device Configuration Tool Version: 6.6.1-RC2.But when i do some modification in device configuration and then try to generate the code , it does not generate the code. But when i create the new project using same device configuration file (project.ioc) it does generate the code with new changes , just popup appears for less than a second saying "device configuration Tool updating code .." and then just disappears without updating the code or any error. What could be the problem?

Hello, I am using an STM32WB series processor. I am working on an MSC project involving an SD card that I communicate with via SPI. When I connect my circuit to my computer through the USB port, I encounter the following issue: "Please insert a disk into USB Drive (E:)." I am sharing the library I am using for the SD card and the modifications I made to the usbd_storage_if.c file. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

I have recently purchased an STM32H753ZI board and want to configure the differential ADC to read signals directly from a function generator. I have configured it based on the following setup, but I am facing several issues with the output.Issue 1: I am unable to read the ADC value properly. The negative side of the signal is getting clamped. How can I correct this?Issue 2: When I input a 1V peak-to-peak sine wave to the differential ADC of the STM32H753ZI microcontroller, I am getting a square wave at the output. Why is this happening, and how can I fix it?I have attached the output below when I am providing 1v peak to peak sine wave.
