I have both STM32F769I-DISCO and STM32F429I-DISC1.When I make a project from TouchGFX and import to CubeIDE, the ioc file is not included inSTM32F429I-DISC1 discovery board.I have checked the .project file of STM32F769I-DISCO it is containing these lines, while it is missing in STM32F429I-DISC1.<link> <name>STM32F769I_DISCO.ioc</name> <type>1</type> <locationURI>$%7BPARENT-1-PROJECT_LOC%7D/STM32F769I_DISCO.ioc</locationURI> </link>

Hi,I am working on STM32G0 Nucleo Board with STM32 Cube IDE 1.3.0 .How to Use STM32G0 Power Voltage Detector (Internal ) with STM32CubeIDE ?I want my MCU should only start when Voltage goes above 2.5V (Say)..The above setting nothing generate in .c file for PVD.I have also checked below example but nothing configured in PWR_PVD.ioc..\en.stm32cubeg0\STM32Cube_FW_G0_V1.3.0\Projects\NUCLEO-G071RB\Examples\PWR\PWR_PVDThanks in advice ..Any Other option..--Karan

Hi, I've created a custom keyboard and so far all works good. I've just a problem: I want to use an OK button on the keyboard to copy the text edited to a text area in an other screen. I'm able to go to the other screen but when i do the second part of my goal, I've got errors. I think the problem is in the function getBuffer.-This is the part in customkeyboard.cppvoid CustomKeyboard::okPressedHandler(){getBuffer(); // function to save the actual entered textapplication().gotoScreen01ScreenNoTransition(); // if i use only this line the code work to change screeen}-Part in customkeyboard.hppvirtual void getBuffer(){// implemented in screen02_00View.cpp}-Part in the screen where the keyboard is definedextern Unicode::UnicodeChar keyboardBuffer[10];void Screen02_00View::getBuffer() // added to manage the entered text from temperature keyboard{Unicode::UnicodeChar* buff = keyboard.getBuffer();Unicode::strncpy(keyboardBuffer, buff, Unicode::strlen(buff) + 1);} -Part in screen.hppvirtua

I'm trying to implement a 10 us delay using TIM2. This delay is inside an EXTI interrupt handler.I am not getting a return at the end of 10 us.In the clock configurator, I used the max PLL clock possible, 64 MHz. Is this OK? I don't know what else to use here.Edited to add: the purpose of this delay is to allow the external pulse to settle before determining its value. I am currently watching for the EXTI interrupt and then giving a delay. Is there a better way to do this with the timer settings? Thanks,Priyavoid delay_us (uint16_t us){ uint32_t start = TIM2->CNT; while ((TIM2->CNT - start) % 65536U < us); // wait for the counter to reach the us input in the parameter}static void MX_TIM2_Init(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM2_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END TIM2_Init 0 */ TIM_ClockConfigTypeDef sClockSourceConfig = {0}; TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM2_Init 1 */ __HAL_RCC_TIM2_CLK_ENABLE(); /* USER CODE END TIM

Hello,I am trying to use the memcpy function to transfer data from the ADC data buffer to a separate data buffer, but when I call memcpy, only the first 1400 of 6000 samples gets copied, while the remainder of the buffer does not get updated. I noticed this when I added a breakpoint after the memcpy function and when I output the new data on a DAC and saw the following on an oscilloscope, where the green toggle indicates when the HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback function is called, and the blue is the data being output by the DAC after being copied from the ADC buffer. The function being read at the ADC is a simple ramp function: I am wondering if there is any specific reason this may be occurring. I am using DMA for the ADC (Continuous DMA requests enabled) and a DAC on the STM32F413 MCU. The only thing being done in the callback is a flag being set. Thanks,MC

Hello ST Teams!Question, again! I'd like to know if the image "st-image-core" or "st-image-weston" are compatible with the "read-only-rootfs" from yocto append? (thud or dunfell) Well I've already tried on the st-image-core and bitbake compilation failed, saying something about user-fs.Any hints would be welcome!Have a nice confined day!

I have an application using a LSM9DS1 with the purpose of accurately measuring the rotational speed of a platter spinning at about 33 rpm.I measure the speed by taking readings from the gyroscope every 10ms. I did an initial calibration for offset and slope before that, but I would like to increase the accuracy by correlating the initial calibration with data from the magnetometer also.So I added an initial calibration step by reading the X,Y measures from the magnetometer every 30ms, calculating a heading using atan2(Y, X)*180/PI +180 , and measuring the time it takes to go from heading 50º back to heading 50º again. However, when I look at a log from the headings obtained, I see a not completely linear sequence of values, sometimes going back for 1,2 steps, before going forward again. Something like: 34, 36, 38, 33, 39, 40, 50, 45, 55, 60.....Any idea of what may be causing this ? Maybe I'm trying to take readings too fast ?I've set ODR at 80Hz

Hi! My name is Vincenzo. In the last week I devoted myself to study the example application written by ST for the ToF VL53L1 (VL53L1CB). I was interested in being able to better understand the MULTIZONES_SCANNING mode. In the example, the field of view of the ToF is divided into 2 zones. Based on this, I am attempting to write an application similar to ST's 2D LIDAR. I would like to divide the FoV of the ToF into 9 zones. At first I thought I had succeeded, but lately I noticed that periodically, some zones detect a particular high ambient value. The curious fact is that this "anomaly" of the ambient value seems to depend on the number in which the field of vision is divided. For example, if I divide it into 10 Zones instead of 9 I don't run into this anomaly. If I divide it into 8 I encounter the anomaly again, but it appears in a reduced form, but more frequently. In the most interesting case, the one in which I divide the FoV into 9 zones, I register ambient values that are about 5

Hello,I am trying to set the clock frequency to max of 480 MHz. I tried 120 MHz and there is not problem with that. The block code is very similar for both, so not sure what is going wrong.I feel the oscillator fails and goes into an error state. Based on datasheet max speed is 480 MHz and PLLM, N, Q are set based on valid values taken from CubeMX.I also tried all possible value for "FLASH_ACR_LATENCY_15WS" since this is the only difference between 2 code blocks of 120 and 480.Here is USART output:[2020-11-15_10:56:03:539] Before.[2020-11-15_10:56:03:539]SYSCLK : 64000000Hz[2020-11-15_10:56:03:539]HCLK  : 64000000Hz[2020-11-15_10:56:03:539]PCLK1 : 64000000Hz[2020-11-15_10:56:03:539]PCLK2 : 64000000Hz[2020-11-15_10:56:03:539] AFTER  120.[2020-11-15_10:56:03:539]SYSCLK : 64000000Hz[2020-11-15_10:56:03:539]HCLK  : 64000000Hz[2020-11-15_10:56:03:539]PCLK1 : 64000000Hz[2020-11-15_10:56:03:539]PCLK2 : 64000000Hz[2020-11-15_10:56:03:574]Someth

Hello! Thank you in advance for your help =)I've just bought a STEVAL-BCN002V1B (BlueNRG - Tile), with the host board to Flash and debug, and i would like to know how i can easily program it. Questions:I've found this video where a STEVAL-IDB007V1 is programed using the BlueNRG - 1 navigator. Is there anything similar for my board? If yes, could you please introduce me to the first steps? How can i access examples and send them to the board? I would be very happy if i could do anything similar to this LinkWhat is STSW-BLUETILE-DK 1.3.0? Is it usefull for my porpuse? Is there any tutorial avaiable? My ultimate goal would be send/receive information from a cellphone with my BlueNRG - Tile and transmit this via I2C (or UART, or SPI) to a Raspberry Pi. Any idea how this can be done? I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but i can't find this answers anywhere.Best Regards,Danilo

Hi,I am struggling for a while to get the CDC_Host to work. Steps that I have taken are:Create a MX Cube USB Host HS port projectset correct frequencies 8Mhz for HSI, heap=1200 stack 800 (tried various values with no effect)Generate the code (eWarm and CubeIDE code - no difference when running)Flash to a Disco407 boardconnected the USB host connector to PB14,15 via a USB sniffer to a STM32F103 boardThe results I see is that the device enumerates on the host successfully (goes thru all stages and ends with set_configuration1 and getlinecoding packets). However when I send a USBH_CDC_Transmit API then that packet does not get send out. I did debug the code see below. I did find the point where the transmit fails to initiate the packet based on the CDC_Handle status (incorrect status code e.g. 0x81 instead of CDC_IDLE etc).main.c routine contains... /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h" #include "usb_device.h" #include "usb_hos

Hi,It is a SPC56EC Dual core sample project which comes with SPCStudio (I imported the project form your library) and I have some questions. The screenshot is attached.1- When we use dual core at the same time, how do they memory sharing? They share same memory or not?2- We enable the core_0 with the runCore(); statement and program goes to "int main_core0(void)" function. My question is how program knows to must go there. main_core0 is a uniqe identifier or I can give a name it randomly?3- Have setting done in sample project about for relating peripherals and cores? For example, when I initialize ADC module in Low Level Driver Comp., for using core 0 or core1; I just should add module's functions in related function ( I mean for using ADC module in Core_0 then I should add main_core0 function).Stay safe,Best Regards

Hi,I'd like to use C++, and I had a question.Currently my procedure is:(a) Configure the peripherals using CubeMX (since I wish to use MX HAL) and generate code .(b) In CubeIDE I rename the main.c file to main.cpp, and then from the project window I right-click the project name and select Convert to C++Although that procedure initially works, the problem is that if I subsequently wish to make additional peripheral configuration changes, things get messy, because if I use CubeMX and click on Generate Code, it won't modify the existing main.cpp and will instead create a new main.c file, because it thinks I'm coding in C. Now I have a merge problem to get the auto-generated content in main.c into main.cpp and then have to re-click on Convert to C++. What's the correct procedure I should be using?

Hi, I'm new in the STM32 world. I recently bougth the STM32L031K6 nucleo board and I am doing a project where I need to connect the analog reference to a voltage different from VDD. So I de-soldered the solder bridge that connects AREF to VDD (SB10). Now if I plug the cable in I get a fail file that says: "The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU" and the board doesn't work, if I connect vcc to aref all works good. What could it be? Thank you all!

GreetingsI have attempted to write an application, to toggle the LD4 LED (On PD12) on the STM32F407VGTx Discovery board. I am toggling the LED, on interrupt, when the timer overflows. I have placed the HAL_GPIO_Toggle() in the HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback() function. The LED is never be toggled. I have tried placing the Toggle function in the TIM6 IRQ handler itself and it works fine. I've also experimented with PWM recently and the HAL_OC_DelayElapsedCallback(), and the code is always executed. The Period_ElapsedCallback() function is the only problematic. Any help would be appreciated, to show where I'm going wrong.
