While I was looking for H7 DMA data,I saw the article below that DMA is not working on the H7 device.https://community.st.com/s/article/FAQ-DMA-is-not-working-on-STM32H7-devicesSolution 1 from that article is shown below.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Solution example 1: Simple placement of all memory to D1 domain"D-Cache must be disabled globally for this solution to work."GCC (Atollic TrueStudio/System Workbench for STM32/Eclipse)"Replace DTCMRAM with RAM_D1" for section placement in linkerscript (.ld file extension). Started today with my STEVAL-STWINKT1B, with default firmware and an outdated version of ST BLE Sensor app.I was happy, the app connected and I was able to do a first trial, gather some data and export the data as csv by email.After that, I did an update of the app to the latest version. After starting the app, it told me to upgrade my STWINKT1 and I did so.Now I ended up, that the app can detect the board, but neither the clear logs, nor the export logs buttons in the App work.Nothing happens, when I press the buttons.What to do?Best wishes,Steve

Hi All,To get around a problem I was having with timer capture using DMA (another topic) I changed my timer code to use interrupts. The seems to work when I debug step through it but not when I run. I am using TIM8 in input capture mode for CH1 and CH3. Here is the IRQ:void HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef* htim) { if( htim->Instance == TIM8) // 1190 ------ bp#1 { // Check if/which capture flag is set // read CC register & store value in buffer1 or buffer2 // clear flag CCIF // process result if(__HAL_TIM_GET_FLAG(htim, TIM_SR_CC1IF) != RESET) // 1196 bp#2 { __HAL_TIM_CLEAR_IT(htim, TIM_DIER_CC1IE); // 1198 buffer1[0] = htim->Instance->CCR1; g_nFrefSignal = !g_nFrefSignal ; } if(__HAL_TIM_GET_FLAG(htim, TIM_SR_CC3IF) != RESET) // 1202 ----- bp#3 { __HAL_TIM_CLEAR_IT(htim, TIM_DIER_CC3IE); buffer2[0] = htim->Instance->CCR3 ; } } If I only enable break point #2 or #3 the break points DO NOT get hit. If I

The STM32H743 datasheet says nothing about clocking the timers. Reference manual has a chapter dedicated to each timer's counter clocking. For each type of timer the only clock is so called "Internal Clock" CK_INT . What is it? Opened my project's CubeMX Clock Configuration and I don't find such label there. Trying to guess which clock could be used to run timers, I'd assume one of those: APB1 Timer clocks or APB2 timer clocks .But again - which one is that mysterious CK_INT from the reference manual ? And is it one for all timers or are they using different clock sources?Please help to understand this.

Hi Everyone,Hope you are doing well.I am not able to connect my new custom board based on STM32H743BI with STM32CubeProgrammer using STLINK-V3SET. and get the "Error: No STM32 target found" when i try to connect.As suggested in different threads i have confirmed the following:Reset is pulled highBoot0 is pulled lowVDD is stable at 3..28V at all desired pins of the board VCAP 1&2 connected to 2.2uF capacitors showing voltage of 1.01V.VDDA is 3.28V, VSSA is Grounded, I am using a 10 pin SWD connector.The Circuit diagram is shown belowThanks,

I'm starting a new STM32H7A3 project in STM32CubeIDE. I've got the peripherals assigned and would like to understand more precisely how each peripheral and things like CPU frequency affects current draw. When I first click on the Tools tab without changing any of the default settings, the run step current in 69.9 mA. If I drag the CPU Frequency slider from the default setting of 280 MHz to 90 MHz, I get a run step current of 7.9 mA. That's a decrease in current of almost 9X for a decrease in CPU frequency of about 3X. Seems like power should scale roughly linearly with clock frequency. And then when I drag the CPU frequency slider back up to 280 MHz, the run step current is 26.5 mA which is roughly 3X the 90 MHz value, about what I'd expect. I'm guessing the initial 69.9 mA value is just wrong but I could use some confirmation before I spin up a board.

Hello,I am working on a project using STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.0.0.I cannot compile the 1_Image_SECoreBin project included in the BFU_1_Image sample project.I am using STM32CubeIde on macOS Catalina.I have also read these manuals."Getting started with the SBSFU of STM32CubeWL""Integration guide of SBSFU on STM32CubeWL (including KMS)"Can you guys guide me?

Hi there,I am trying to compile the SBSFU_2_Images_DualCore project.Although I did it in the correct order according to the document "Getting started with the SBSFU of STM32CubeWL (UM2767)". I configured all pins of stm32f103c8 as output. All pins are toggling and only PD0 and PD1 aren't toggling .. I am using internal crystal of stm32f103c8 then obviously the PD0 and PD1 pins are free for configure as output or input.

Is there any documentation on the differences? Are these two part numbers functionally identical?

Dear ST community, I have 2 Nucleo WL55 highband boards and I suspect that there has been a mislabelling of the device. As I am aware of, only the D-04 version of this board is sold. However, my board has several pins that do not correspond to the ones mentionned in the datasheet. By looking closely at my device, I see that the sticker label mentions the D-04 version, however, on the PCB itself I see D-01 (see image below). Is it possible to obtain the User manual and schematic for this version of the board? I cannot find it anywhere and it is really painful to probe each pin to reverse engineer the PCB connections. Thanks in advance, Balazs Udvarhelyi

I'm trying to get started using the STM32WLE5-series chip, and I'm really struggling to figure out how to get the `AT` firmware example going. I see it in the SDK package, but it's only for the STM32WL5-series (dual-core) chips. I see this setting in the .ioc file, but it doesn't tell me how to get to the Examples List?Thanks!

Hello,I have loaded the SENSING1_V4 firmware on my STEVAL-STLKT01V1 sensor and I am using it with the ST BLE Sensor iPhone app, saving the data on the SD card. Since I would like to use two sensors simultaneously, I wondered if there was a way to do this using just one mobile phone. Thank you, Chiara

Hi all,I use Arduino to read the LIS2DW12 sensor. The circuit of sensor was as below.According to the circuit, the I2C address was 0x18. But when I use Arduino to scan the address, sometimes it has no response. Has any connection I miss?To read the data, I use the multil2c example from github.https://github.com/arraym/LIS2DW12-Arduino-LibBut the value of raw data is always same value. Was the lib incorrect?

Hi, currently cubemx uses some sort of double list for listing all the components, meaning you get a scrollbar on the side over all the categories (so far OK), and then within each category, after expanding it, there is another list you can scroll with tiny arrows. The amount of visible elements in each category seems arbitrary.In my experience, this second tiny arrows is very user unfriendly: it is impossible to get a quick overview of all available/enabled components since some of them will always be hidden, and the arrows are hard to select and make the list jump by some unclear amount of elements. Is there a way to fully expand all categories, maybe edit some config file so that the amount of elements in each category can be set big enough to show them all once expanded so I do not have to deal with the arrows anymore?Image showing the tiny arrow I really like to get rid of in attachment.RegardsBram

Hi,I'm interested in all possible mechanisms of M4 waking A7. I know that this can be done with virtual UART and GPIO pins (6 of them if I'm right), but are there other ways to do it?Nenad

i use STM32CubeProgrammer.but i know that STM32CubePorgrammer don't support STM32G070RB.where can i see information about whether STM32CubeProgrammer supports MCU series.

HiI have a counter in main.c. I have two screens A and B. The meter reading is sent to screen B and displayed. When the counter reaches 0 I want screen B to switch to A. How to set it up in GFX? greetingsAndrzej

The linker produce a error "cannot find library". See pic. However, I trying to change the lib path to haven't any spaces inside. This not help.Then I change the lib path to my disk root D: folder and this generate next 'sh' error.
