HiI know that this is probably a brain fart on my side, but I am currently playing around with the NUCLEO-G031K8 and cannot seem to put the MCU into reset using the reset button on the Nucleo board. In fact, I am running a simple GPIO LED toggle program, and it just keeps toggling even when B1 is pressed. Am I missing the obvious here? :\

Hi,I have been writing drivers for the ISM43341-M4G-L44-SPI WiFi module mounted on the STM32H7BI3-DK.I can send the device AT commands and get back the OK response, but after setting the network parameters SSID, password, security mode, DHCP after issuing the Join Network command "C0" the module ready line goes low and never sets back to ready.Overall Response of C0 Cmd SPI Bus Detail of C0 Cmd I sent an "I?" command to find the software revision of the WiFi Module and this works fine:When I use the "I?" command to retrieve the Revision Information using the "RM" command I get:{ISM43341-M4G-L44-SPI,C3.5.2.6.STM,v3.5.2,v1.4.0.rc1,v8.2.1,144000000, Inventek eS-WiFiOK>}The curly brackets I have added for clarity.So I am confident the SPI bus is working OKI have written to the manufacturer of the WiFi module (Inventek), but haven't heard back yet?I've used a couple of AT WiFi modules, LPB100 and one I can't remember the part number fo in the past both of which used a serial po

I bought a STM32H743I-EVAL2 board and updated to the latest STM32Cube 1.8.0 with firmware V1.9.0 and V1.9.1I tried 2 examples project and they both shows graphics issues.The example "DMA2D_MemToMemWithBlending" show the 2 first image incorrectly (then the final blending is correct)The example "DMA2D_MemToMemWithBlendingAndCLUT" is also incorrect with an issue which seems to be related to endianess (the pixels are shown reversed each 4 pixels)I'm new to STM32 MCU and trying to learn, but if the factory example are not correct, it badly starts.Also, I saw in some example that the LCD buffer is mapped to an address defined at 0xD0000000 but I can't find anywere how this address is configured ? to which chip is it mapped ? there is so much code that I don't know where to start.Thank you,Best regards,Cedric B

I tried setting the i2c frequency to less than 20KHz but I got the following error:[   1.788573] stm32f7-i2c 40012000.i2c: no solution at all[   1.792517] stm32f7-i2c 40012000.i2c: failed to compute I2C timings.[   1.798793] stm32f7-i2c 40012000.i2c: Impossible to compute I2C timings.[   1.805717] stm32f7-i2c: probe of 40012000.i2c failed with error -1This is the device tree change:&i2c1{ pinctrl-names = "default", "sleep"; pinctrl-0 = <&i2c1_pins_mx>; pinctrl-1 = <&i2c1_sleep_pins_mx>; status = "okay";   /* USER CODE BEGIN i2c1 */ clock-frequency = <10000>; /* USER CODE END i2c1 */ };

I built an elf executable for the STM32H743ZI. I did not create this executable from within STM32CubeIDE. Still, I would like to debug it from within STM32CubeIDE. How do I load the elf file in the STM32CubeIDE and debug the executable on a target (STM32H743ZI). Can this be done?

I am using an STLINK-V3SET programmer / debugger. I connect to my target (STM32WB55) on a Midatronics Sharky Mkr board. I find that if I 'blink' or move funny the debugger after connecting shuts down and displays the following under the console window:Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Shutting down...Exit.Can someone help me out here as to what to do?

I need to skip the upper row and lower row and print the characters.

In application note AN2834 (How to get the best ADC accuracy in STM32 microcontrollers), There is a clear error on Page 10, which defines 1 LSB by Vref+/2^12). But LSB depends on Resolution!If Resolution is 10, then it would be defined by Vref+/2^10.Even Editor ownself was explaining a "10-bit resolution ADC" in previous pages(not a 12-bit one), So the reader would be confused by this. Writers should specify that "Vref+/2^12" specifies to "12-bit resolution".  (Error reported here because There was no email or place to report AN errors.)

I have a problem of the HAL Driver function HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit's parameter 'DevAddress'. It says that the device 7 bits address value in datasheet must be shifted to the left before calling the interface, that is, if I want to transmit to a device addressed 0x60, the parameter should be 0xc0. And that's exactly what happened. But when I use the function HAL_I2C_Mem_Read, which has same require, the parameter was 0x60, the 0xc0 was wrong.MCU: STM32F407ZGT6CubeMX Firmware Package: V1.26.2I'am confused now. I'm trying to use a Nucleo-H753ZI board for an audio (SPDIF) project and, compared with the Nucleo-F746 board I was using, the clock quality is abysmal - off frequency and with loads of phase noise. It appears to be derived from the HSI on the ST-LINK device (F723) rather than the 25MHz crystal oscillator (why 25MHz, why not 8MHz?). Has anyone else had issues with this? I've raised a support case with ST (case no 145713) but I'm not expecting a ST-LINK software fix anytime soon, even if it is possible.

Hello,I'm trying to access the SDRAM for stm32h757i-eval board and I'm able to successfully store data in the bank 2 i.e, from address 0xD0000000 on wards.But I'm not able to store any data in the bank 1 i.e, at address 0xD0000000.even during assigning the initial bank in the stm32 cubemx software the option for bank 1 is not available.kindly let me know what part I'm missing out.Thank you

Hello and Thank youI'm starting with I2C on STM32L4R5ZI and I can't get it to work.I'm generating a very simple project for the Nucleo board in CubeIDE.I have only initialize the parameters in CubeIDE, and when I try to run it the red LED ligths up and the programm doesn't execute.I've been messing with it and it doesn't execute code after the initialization of the I2C peripheral ("MX_I2C1_Init();").I have tried changing the clock that the peripheral is using but that doesn't seem to work.Looks like the CubeIDE initialization is not working, but I can't find why.Thank you so much Daniel

Hello,I use CR95HF to read 14443A RFID tags, I designed a firmware based on STSW-STM32006 software and everything works well.Now I need to read 14443B RFID tags, but I can not find any function like ISO14443B_GetUID to read B UID. There is only the function ISO14443B_IsPresent, to detect TAG, but nothing to get the UID. How can I read 14443B UID ?Thanks for your help :)Thomas

using: NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q board, STM32CubeIDE: Version: 1.8.0 Build: 11526_20211125_0815 (UTC)I am new to STM32 and trying to do a simple led/gpio test.can't identify a pin since there is no label that converts from port and pin, saw at some tutorials they use the labels that are at the ioc file:example:PB0.GPIO_Label=led_hPB14.GPIO_Label=LD3 [Red Led]at STM32CubeIDE when searching or ctrl+space it seems that there is no labels only GPIOA etc. and GPIO_PIN_0 etc.how can I identify the correct way to interface to a pin?Thank you,Hanan

I am creating a project for the STM32F469I-DISCO board, and trying to open it and build it in STM32CubeIDE. It appears that TuchGFX Designer is not creating correct file names. Some have -EVAL instead of -DISCO, and I think this is causing problems. You can see both in the project below. All I did was open the .cproject file in the TouchGFX project folder. It does not find the ioc file, because it is incorrectly looking for a -EVAL and the actual file is a -DISCO file.I'm assuming this is a bug in TouchGFX Designer because it is mixing up the two types of boards (-DISCO and -EVAL)?

Hi,Please help with the "TL431CDT"There is "H" symbol on the marking code (431CH)What does it mean?There is nothing is the datasheet (marking 431C without H).Best regards and thank youLuca

Hello,I am working on NUCLEO-H745ZIQ board. In stm32CUBEMX they provide example code for USBX Azure RTOS. In that examples, I am working on UX_Device_CDC_ACM. According to that I configure the all the parameter in cubemx. But I am facing the problems in that, like when I try to configure Timebase source as TIMER instead of systick it doesn't allow it, all the option are not available, only systick is available. When the USB Port is get detect I have to go in Device manager option then update driver and then it get detected in Tera terminal. After the port is get connected, when I try to change its baudrate 9600 to 115200 the terminal goes in not responding mode. When I send the data on ports is not get receive.The function CDC_FS in not get called. The UART _Init function is not get called,I am facing this issue.

Hi allFor test purpose I want to run a real-time kernel on the STM32MP157c-DK2 with the newest ecosystem 3-1-11. The goal is to develop a real-time kernel module, out of the Yocto environment.I did build the Image with Yocto and flashed the image. Apparently the ecosystem 3.1.11 uses the Linux kernel 5-10-61.I could also successfully build and run the Linux kernel 5-10-61 outside Yocto, adding the .config from the /proc/config of the imag.Now I'd like to add the reat-time patch, but there is no patch for 5-10-61, but only for 5-10-59 or 5-10-63.I tried to use the 5-10-59 patch with the 5-10-61 kernel. It compiled successfully, but the kernel did not start up.I also tried to use the newest kernel with the proper patch: 5-10-83. This did not work either.What do you recommend to do?By the way: the M4 inside stm32mp1 is intentionally not used.

Is the following note quoted from the specification of STM32F407 applied to all the time from power-up or just during the period when the analog data is being sampled?「4. If VREF+ pin is present, it must respect the following condition: VDDA-VREF+ < 1.2 V. ?
