Hi,I have managed to program the STM32F746G-DISCO with a simple neural network but when I try to do it using the external Flash by using the option in advanced settings (External NOR Flash) it doesn't work. Any idea why? Is there anything else I need to do?I'm using STM32CubeMX and Keil. Thanks!

I'm attempting to bring up a project on a Nucleo-H755 board using only the CM4 core (the CM7's boot is disabled). I have proved out that the ADC works as expected with polling and interrupts, but I can't get DMAs to function.I found and reviewed the H7 DMA issues knowledgebase issue, but I don't believe this is relevant as I am not using the CM7 core and I have confirmed that the DMA target buffer is in D2 SRAM. I have ensured that `MX_DMA_Init` is called before `MX_ADC_Init` as suggested elsewhere, and I have reviewed myriad examples for other STM32 parts, all of which match what I'm trying to do, with no success.I've removed the M7/M4 interlock, as I'm only booting the M4, and I have moved the `SystemClock_Config` function from the CM7 main.c to the CM4. I've attached both my main.c and .ioc file here, but the general flow of the program is: uint32_t result = 0xFFFFFFFF; uint32_t adc_buf[2]; void HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef *hadc) { result -= 1; } int

I'm using the STM32C031C6 configured with USART1 in 115200. When opening communication with the YAT serial terminal, the bytes are sent and received wrong. (I used STMCubeMX for code generation).Ex: (YAT configured correctly as it works on an older project)sending from YAT to uC 55h I get b5hsending from uC to YAT 55h I get varied values (95h, D5h, B5h together with message XXh [Warning: RX FRAMING ERROR]). When I setup RX and TX in loop, on YAT I always get D5h. uC always puts 0x80 in the 4 most significant bits of the received byte 55h + 80h = D5h (happens for other data) or TX sends data before RX is ready or something like that...Tests:BaudRate from 115200 to 9600 on both sides (uC and YAT);WordLength 8 and 9 bits;StopBits 1 and 2 on both sides (uC and YAT);Parity None and Odd;ClockPrescaler for multiple values; andI use internal oscillator, so I used PCLK from 3MHz to 12MHz and the error persists. As commented above, with RX and TX in loop on the board, the transmitted and rec

Hello,we consider using SPC57x or SPC58x for our products. I did find Safety Manuals for STM8 and STM32 but non for SPC5x. I know the chapter in the Reference Manuals with explanations of the CRC, STCU2 ... modules but I'm missing a complete list/table of neccessary safety mechanisms like in the STM32 Safety Manuals. Were can I get the Safety Manuals for the SPC57x and SPC58x?Fabian S.

Does anyone know how to enable a timer interrupt in SCP582b?

Hi all,I'm trying to connect between STM32U575ZITxQ to DCMI connections.I found every single port in ST to the camera except "DCMI_MCLK"(external clk).I looked at the DataSheet and Reference manual but I didn't see any information about the camera's connections.Could you please help me with that? how can I connect that? which pin in ST? Thanks,Noa

I have use stm32l412cbt6 PB9 to input function and i can get the input data, then i configure PB9 to alternate function GPIO_AF14_TIM16 and i can not get the input data.Under the same configuration，PA3 alternate function GPIO_AF1_TIM2 can get the input data. Please give me some advice.

I'm trying to use the 4K backup RAM on the STM32H743. The RTC is working and keeps time so I know the battery system is OK. I can read and write to the backup RAM OK but it loses all data on power off.I've enabled access as follows:HAL_PWREx_EnableBkUpReg(); HAL_PWR_EnableBkUpAccess();The code behind these is trivialSET_BIT(PWR->CR1, PWR_CR1_DBP);andSET_BIT(PWR->CR2 PWR_CR2_BREN);  The C source for stm32h7xx_hal_pwr.c has the following comment:"     After reset, the backup domain (RTC registers, RTC backup data     registers and backup SRAM) is protected against possible unwanted     write accesses.     To enable access to the RTC Domain and RTC registers, proceed as follows:       (+) Enable the Power Controller (PWR) APB1 interface clock using the           __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABL

I got a message "Error : Programming failed" while trying to program "STM8S103F3" microcontroller with "ST visual Programmer". Sometimes the microcontroller got programmed but several times it failed. I am using "ST-LINK V2" programmer (connections: - SWIM, RST, Ground, 3.3V) for it. I have connected a "1uF ceramic capacitor" to microcontroller's "VCAP" pin. What i observed in it that when microcontroller got programmed, the "SWIM" pin goes LOW from 3.3V. But when i got "Error : Programming failed" message at that time, the voltage on "SWIM" pin remains standstill at 3.3V. So, please, anyone provide the solution for this problem. Thanks.Message shown on STVP

I am using the F302RB nucleo board and IHM07M1 motor driver.

Hello, I'm currently using stm32F410, i want to get to the system memory in order to use bootloader in UART and upgrade my firmware. I saw on datasheet that i need to pilot pin BOOT1. The problem is that on the graphical interface of STM32CubeIDE or CubeMx, when i click on PB2 (that should have the additionnal function "BOOT1"), i can't find BOOT1. I saw that someone had a problem like this in 2018. I would like to know if it's fix or if there's another way to do it. I tried some otherm STM such as STM32F401 / F407, same problem. Only one card worked, it was the STM32F303 because i have to configure option bytes for BOOT1 and not pins. Waiting for your responses.Thanks.Cyril.

I think I found a documentation error in the L412 datasheet. The Quadspi is documented to support two banks in the QUADSPI module description, but I can only find the pins for BK1, which I assume is the first bank. My guess is that the QUADSPI module supports two banks, but that on the "no-big-packages" 'L412 chip the second bank is not available. I've put "Whoa! fun feature, lets see if I can use that", so I'm not yet very familiar with the feature.... so I might be wrong. But If I'm right I think the 'L412 datasheet should not promote the second bank ... Update: I've checked another datasheet and BK2 is indeed the name for the second bank, and as far as I can see, some required pins on BK2 are on "100+" packages. Oh... Quick question for those who /are/ familiar with the QUADSPI: Does this work with SD cards?

We want to know that which simulator supports for STM32U585.

The datasheet (DS10685 Rev 6) in Table 16 says that the VLCD pins are:PB0/LCD_VLCD3PB2/LCD_VLCD2PE11/LCD_VLCD1PE12/LCD_VLCD3PB12/LCD_VLCD1In the reference manual RM0367 Rev 7 (for STM32L0x3)Section 10.2.2 (SYSCFG_CFGR2), for bits LCD_CAPA:Bit 1 controls the connection of VLCDrail1 on PB2/LCD_VLCD10: VLCDrail2 not connected to PB2/LCD_VLCD11: VLCDrail2 connected to PB2/LCD_VLCD1Bit 2 controls the connection of VLCDrail1 on PB12Bit 3 controls the connection of VLCDrail3 on PB0Bit 4 controls the connection of VLCDrail1 on PE11Bit 5 controls the connection of VLCDrail3 on PE12So, the reference manual seems to be wrong about PB2.The VLCD names are wrong in the schematics for STM32L073Z-EVAL too (document "MB1168.pdf" revision C-01): PB2 is marked as "VLCD1", and PE11 is marked as "VLCD2" (whereas PE12 is correctly marked as "VCLD3").The actual voltages on the pins agree with the naming in the datasheet (PE11/LCD_VLCD1 < PB2/LCD_VLCD2 < PE12/LCD_VLCD3)The options available in CubeMX fu

Hello everyone,I'm developing a firmware for an STM32F767 and I have a problem that happens randomly and I can't figure out why. From what I could analyze looking at the stack I think the problem comes when doing a sprintf and I have the hypothesis that it could be an overflow problem.According to the fault analyzer, when the error is caught I have this context:Hard Fault Details: Bus, memory management or usage fault (FORCED)Bus Fault Details: Precise data access violation (PRECISERR) BFAR: 0x30333531Register Content During Fault Exception:sp(PSP): 0x20013480r0: 0x30333531r1: 0x0r2: 0x18r3: 0x20040fe0r12: 0x819bc400lr: 0x813dc81pc: 0x813f6faxpsr: 0x2100000It is curious since the BFAR and r0 register contains part of the value to be formatted by sprintf (the number is 15300), which further strengthens the hypothesis that there may be an overflow problem somewhere.MPU and cache is used with the next configuration:/* Configure the MPU attributes for the frontbuffer to normal memory (800p

Hello supportTeam,Enjoy your day.I'm developing a firmware upgrade function. STM32U585ZIT6 series controller was chosen by us for our product development, and B-U585I-IOT02A development kit was used for POC.I'm searching for Firmware Upgrade Features in STM32U585ZIT6 Series as a result. So i am looking Firmware upgradation features in STM32U585ZIT6 series, I refer this document "AN5447"I have found some example solution which is provided by ST1. Hello CommunityI try to test the EVELKIT-ROBOT-1 using MODBUS RTU.I did it it's factory setting. After I had connect all the cables, I powered up the EVALKIT.Motor turned to its init position and stoped at some point. And Motor hold that position even if I turned the sharft of the motor. So I want to change the desired posiiton.I send packets(? : I don't know whether MODBUS RTU also called it packet ) to the EVALKIT as you can see the figure that I uploaded. The order that I send was (1) -> (2) -> (3) -> (4) -> (5) -> (2) -> (1) -> (6) -> (7). Following response is the bottom side of figure.here is my questions.I send packet(1) to EVALKIT after the motor aligned but the response implys it is not. why? is packet(7) wrong? ( Set the coil bit 0 at address 0 high to start motion ) Is it because of the discrete input bit 0 is not high?please help..ThanksMinsoo

When loading my code onto the STM32F407 board, I encounter the errors "Target is not responding, retrying..." and "Failed to read registers from target" in the Console window. I have investigated the issue but have been unable to find a suitable solution. You can find the console and debug configuration screenshots attached. Can you help me?

Hi, I created a SensorTile.box project in STM32CubeIDE in which I am receiving the acceleration data from the LSM6DSOX accelerometer. I would like to convert the data I receive from the sensor into the [mg] unit in the same way it is converted in the Data recorder app which you can download on to the SensorTile.box when using the ST BLE Sensor app. Thats why I am wondering if there is any Project code for the Data recorder app, where I could see how the calculation is performed. (I require the same kind of data because I have taught a machine learning model on data received from using the Data recorder app)I have set the accelerometer to work at 104 Hz and 4g. My current calculation of accelerometer data is based off of the code I found in the SensorTileBox-BLESensors project from the FP-SNS-STBOX1 function pack. Here is the code (for the X axis, Y and Z are also calculated like X) I am using to get the acceleration data and convert it to the [mg] unit:For instance the data I rece

Hi. I am writing a bootlloader application that can erase, rewrite, and jump to a user application. As a starting point, I want to make sure I can erase the user application, but the erase seems to have no effect. Dear,Started with the FreeRTOS example I am trying to communicate over uart with a sim7600G. I have setup my usart2. I am able to send data but the returned value contains only the data sended and no response from the sim7600G. I have tried with an external serial converter and with the same ports I can read the sim7600G.For example when I send "AT\n" to the sim7600G with the serial conveter I get "AT\n\nOK\n"When I send "AT\n" with the nucleo-U575 board I only get "AT\n". What can be wrong in my setup? This is my code that I use: for(;;){ HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart2, ReceiveITStr, sizeof(ReceiveITStr)); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, "AT\n", sizeof("AT\n"), 10); osDelay(1000); printf("thread ln300: %s\n\n", ReceiveITStr); osDelay(30000); } Kind regards

Hi there!!I'm currently working on a high frequency GaN brushless motor control application using the HRTIM's complementary outputs (CHB1/2, CHE1/2, CHF1/2), with the timer in up-down counting mode, and ADC1/2/3/4 on the STM32G474RE for inline phase current and bus voltage sense. My PWM frequency is 96kHz, and I'm running my FOC control loop at 8kHz - so my repetition counter and ADC prescaler is 96k/8k = 12 (written value to registers is 12-1=11).Both the HRTIM repetition counter and ADC postscaler counter is set to decrement on period ("top" of the up-down count cycle) (ADROM_CREST and ROM_CREST). As each HRTIM update triggers the FOC calculations (which relies on the previous ADC value), it's important that the ADC sampling always happens consistently each cycle. However, I noticed that when disabling and then re-enabling the HRTIM (using WaveformOutputStop/Start and WaveformCountStop/Start), the ADCs sample at different points. Here are three scope shots (with logic analyzer) to il

Hello all,I am working on a project which is based on stm32f103cbt7 mcu.In my project i have two freeRTOS task and 2 timer interrupts and 1 uart interrupt routine.Task 1:  handles wireless communication (it reads a buffer and if buffer has some valid data then it takes action accordingly). Buffer for which this task checks is filled by uart interrupt, data received on uart is filled to this buffer.void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart){   HandleRxByte(rdata); // fills task1 buffer by checking received data.   HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart1, &rdata, 1);}Task 2: this task reads some data from External RTC over I2C and write some data to SD card over SPI and read analog channels. Here i am facing a problem that after few minutes (random time) from device power on , buffer of task 1 does not change it's content, i.e. it freezed. For few minutes it works fine , multiple packets are handled by task1 correctly but after random time buffer con
