I am trying to run The Motor Control Work Bench using my custom board. I created an inverter profile by cloning one of the existing boards, as below.I made the necessary changes to map pinout of my board. The board appears on the inverter page, as below (referred as TEST BOARD).However, if I change the MCU to STM32G473VETx , the board immediately disappears from the list and I cannot use it to create my Motor Control Project. How to fix this?I noticed, it's only taking MCUs that are already existing in the Motor Control Work Bench, for example, STM32G474QETx, STM32G431CBUx etc. But how do I make it to work with my MCU (STM32G473VET6)?

HelloI swapped STM32F072RBT6 for STM32F205RCT6 on the board (I needed more RAM) and even though the cases are pin-compatible (LQFP64) ST llink v2 reports that it cannot connect to the target.ST link works reliably on STM32F072RBT6.I tried to connect via CUBE IDE debug and CUBE programmer - the result is the same.Soldering checked.

1. Are SPI_MISO/MOSI/CK/CS connected to STM32 MCU on the board? Logic Level 1.8V?2. Are SPI_MISO/MOSI/CK/CS_O for external connections on the board? Logic Level Vio?3. Are there a dedicated shunt for Vio connecting to 3.3V on the board?4.If a 3.3V logic-level external SPI connects to SPI_SPI_MISO/MOSI/CK/CS_O, please advise me how to connect Vio to 3.3V on x-nucleo-iks01a3?ThanksQingshan

Hello ST community. I'm currently working with a LSM6DSV in a drone application. I would like to known if there is a suggested way to cancel the gyroscope bias value?

Hello could someone explain me for the FFT LINE COMPARE that is in the ST BLE SENSOR APP for the sensortile.box what are the parameters that appear to edit? and also for the FFT COMPARE, which I understand that it will be the same and the "Name file FFT to compare" that I understand that here I can place an excel as: "output.cvs" and I guess it will compare them.My doubt is about the treshold that I understand that it will be in dB, that is to say that putting a whole number will be enough, the "number line to compare" if I do not understand what it would be, and I do not know if it is asking too much but I do not fully understand the .cvs that are sent after the bluetooth transmission, I am supposed to be recording an audio of 5kHz to see if I notice any difference in the excel but I do not see anything.

Do anyone know how to install the Egit plugin in an offline machine(Windows)?

Hi,I want to switch off the toggle button itself after a specific interval, let's say 60 sec.Currently it works fine in View.cpp using handleTickEvent but as soon as I navigate to different screen, it doesn't update.Is it possible to run this counter in the backend?I'm using STM32F429.Thanks

I am using Stm32CubeIDE 1.12.0 and would like to install the latest touchGFX  generator (4.22.0) but it is not available in Embeded software package manager...

Hi,can some share dts configuration which allows you to bring up the PWM, timer etc?I do something like  pwm_regulator { compatible = "pwm-regulator"; pwms = <&{/soc/timer@40002000/pwm} 3 500000 0>; regulator-min-microvolt = <1016000>; regulator-max-microvolt = <1114000>; regulator-name = "vdd_logic"; /* Voltage Duty-Cycle */ voltage-table = <1114000 0>, <1095000 10>, <1076000 20>, <1056000 30>, <1036000 40>, <1016000 50>; };  plus &timers4{ status = "disabled"; /* USER CODE BEGIN timers4 */ /delete-property/dmas; /delete-property/dma-names; /* USER CODE END timers4 */ pwm{ pinctrl-names = "default", "sleep"; pinctrl-0 = <&tim4_pwm_pins_mx>; pinctrl-1 = <&tim4_pwm_sleep_pins_mx>; status = "okay"; /* USER CODE BEGIN timers4_pwm */ timer@3 { status = "okay"; }; /* USER CODE END timers4_pwm */ }; };  but nothing ap

The DCMI_SnapshotMode (and the DCMI_CaptureMode) project is able to be compiled and executed on the discovery kit, but the LCD panel only shows snow/static instead of video from the B-CAMS-OMV camera module bundle. Analysis via an oscilloscope shows that the camera itself is working and sending data over to the processor, indicating the step in which that data is sent to the LCD where things seem to go wrong. This issue occurred on 3 different STM32H7747I-DISCO boards (all purchased from DigiKey and all with the same B-CAMS_OMV camera module bundle attached). The CM7 processor-only code was executed. Are there any known solutions to this issue?

I am trying to get the ADCs operational on my board that uses an STM32F030C8 processor.PA0 pin analog seems to read OK ~2200 which is approx OK.Reading CH16 and CH17 (Temp sensor, VrefINT) always return a value of 4095.Main()   we call the Init MX_ADC_Init();   Inside the Main While loop I tried reading all ADC channels while(1) { for(uint16_t i=0; i<20; i++) { ADC1->CHSELR = ADC_CHSELR_CHANNEL(i); HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc); // start the adc uint16_t tmp =HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc, 100); adc_val[i] = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc); // get the adc value HAL_ADC_Stop(&hadc); // stop adc HAL_Delay (500); // wait for 500ms } }The ADC.c file is more or less directly from the STM32cube MX toolin the ADC.c   /* ADC init function */ void MX_ADC_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END ADC_Init 0 */   ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC_Init 1 */   /* USER

Created an Azure RTOS project to have FileX access the MX25LM51245G NOR flash memory in the B-U585I-IOT02A discovery kit. Configured LevelX for OCTOSPI2 and MX25LM51245G as the OSPI component. Enabled DMA Channel 12 with a linear linked list. Linked OCTOSPI2 to the DMA channel with the following call in main.c: hospi2.hdma = &handle_GPDMA1_Channel12; The code runs until the call into the HAL_OSPI_Receive_DMA() function (stm32u5xx_hal_ospi.c). It fails on the if for p_queue which appears to be null. It there something else that needs to be configured or created in code?

I am using FMC LCD interface to power my TFT LCD controlled by SSD1963. FMC data width is 16-bit, and below is a workable code using pixel-by-pixel transmission.void lcd_fill_pixels(uint16_t sx, uint16_t sy, uint16_t ex, uint16_t ey, uint16_t *pixels) { uint16_t xlen = ex - sx + 1; Set_Column(sx, ex); Set_Page(sy, ey); SSD1963__write_memory_start(); for (int i = sy; i <= ey; i++) { for (int j = sx; j <= ex; j++) { TFT_RAM = *pixels; pixels++; } } }I want to convert the code in the lines 8-13 into DMA. I first tried to use MDMA since the core running on is Cortex-M7. I also tried DMA MemToMem. below is my MDMA and DMA configuration.I checked from the build analyzer that the buffer is placed in the .bss region of RAM_D1. Also, I disable both D-Cache and I-Cache for testing. However, I still cannot see my LCD filling with pixels.Could someone familiar with DMA on STM32H7 devices help me with it? Really appreciate it! Below is my attempt using HAL.void lcd_fill_pixels_dma

I use strncpy to print some value in the wildcard but after that the board crashes and does not react anymore. Has anybody an idea what is going wrong? (the text is displayed),Unicode::strncpy(textAreaMMethodBuffer, "Multimeter", 11);textAreaMMethod.resizeToCurrentText();textAreaMMethod.invalidate();

Hello all. I would like clarification about the structure of a patch file made with the "git diff" command. First question. Are the SHA (Secure Hash Algorithm) codes contained in the file patch important? Let me explain better. Once the patch file is made, if I edit it with a text editor by adding or removing parts, the SHA codes not match with the new file content, is it right? Under these conditions, does the patch file still work correctly? Second question. To make the patch file "my_file.patch" between two files "my_file1.txt" and "my_file2.txt" I use the command git diff --no-index my_file1.txt my_file2.txt > ./my_file.patch Let suppose now to have six files named "my_file1.txt", "my_file2.txt", "my_file3.txt", "my_file4.txt", "my_file5.txt" and "my_file6.txt". What is the way to create ONE ONLY patch file that compare and patches the couples my_file1.txt/my_file2.txt, my_file3.txt/my_file4.txt and my_file5.txt/my_file6.txt?Many thanksRegards

STM32L4P5-DK is a STM32L4P5AGI6PU based microcontroller, but I could find STM32F723IEK6 and STM32L152CCT6 IC's are also available on the DK . May I know the purpose of these 2 MCUs other than the main MCU?

I'm trying to change the PLLxFRACR on-the fly. Per the reference manual something like this should work:__HAL_RCC_PLL2FRACN_DISABLE(); __HAL_RCC_PLL2FRACN_CONFIG(8191); __HAL_RCC_PLL2FRACN_ENABLE();On a STM32H750 this code seems to have no effect. But works OK wihen a delay between the disable and the config lines is inserted. Some microseconds is enough.Is it really this way or am I missing something?RegardsAlberto

I have been reading the RM0351 trying to figure out how to setup the clock source for the ADC.The reference manual says that I could choose the system clock, PLLSAI1, or the PPLSAI2as the asynchronous clock source for the ADC (see figure 1). It also shows that there is a mux that I presume allows the programmer to select between the three clocks. I am trying to configure the ADC at the register level (just for fun) but my problem is that I can't seem to find any information on the registers that controls the MUX to select between the 3 clocks mentioned above. I thought for sure the MUX must exist because the STM32CubeIDE even shows it in the ".ioc" GUI under clock configuration (see figure 3).How do I select between the three clock sources mentioned above using register level manipulation?Figure 1: Reference manual stating users can choose between  system clock, PLLSAI1, or the PPLSAI2as the asynchronous clock source for the ADCFigure 2 Refence manual showing a MUX to choose

The examples and documentation provided with STM32CubeIDE are dated year 2015. Is there any repository with current versions examples? Could ST provide within STM32CubeIDE up-to-date examples?I searched dozens of links into this forum and I am not able neither to find a decent LwIP RAW (NOSYS) example to be based on.The most similar example is LwIP_TCP_Echo_Server, which is a bad example. In no way the application is manipulating the received data and showing how to send back a reply properly. At the very moment the data is received, the same pbuf is sent. This is by no way an approach to a decent application in which to be based to develop anything. The example is useless and obsolete to be used in any current STM32CubeIDE.LwIP configuration has lots of parametres with very short description of them (indeed, it's the same created doxygen inline documentation). Can ST provide an updated AN on how to use LwIP (RAW and RTOS) with STM32? The UM1713 is out of date and confusing to develop

Hallo, since few days I am trying to run X-NUCLEO_PGEEZ1 board on NUCLEO-L476. I know, that: github example can be downloaded, but the exaple is for NUCLEO-F401, not for L476. Cube can generate code for PGEEZ1 and L476, but there are some errors durig code generation from graphical interface, I have tried everything (L476), changing SPI's for others, changing speed of SPI, other parameters, also connecting the board with separate wires (SPI2, SPI3). Nothing works correctly. (I know what sould be displayed, because I know how this PGEEZ1 sould work on f401 - I have run it with success). On USART monitor I see only, that:   ______Test 1 Starts______       Test case to verify Write Enable and Write Disable 20   : Failed  00   : Failed  00   : Passed      **************Test 1 Passed**************           ______Test 2 Starts_____

I want to know how to show how to use the energy harvesting feature based on the ST25DV-I2C-04K in combination with an STM32L476 MCU.I have noticed that there is a code named EH energy collection, can you power L476 to make it run normally? void MX_NFC7_EH_Init(void) {   ST25DVxxKC_EN_STATUS_E value_eh_dyn; ST25DVxxKC_EH_MODE_STATUS_E value_eh_mode;   /* Configuration of X-NUCLEO-NFC07A1 */ /******************************************************************************/ /* Init of the Leds on X-NUCLEO-NFC07A1 board */ NFC07A1_LED_Init(GREEN_LED ); NFC07A1_LED_Init(BLUE_LED ); NFC07A1_LED_Init(YELLOW_LED ); NFC07A1_LED_On( GREEN_LED ); HAL_Delay( 300 ); NFC07A1_LED_On( BLUE_LED ); HAL_Delay( 300 ); NFC07A1_LED_On( YELLOW_LED ); HAL_Delay( 300 );   /* Init ST25DVxxKC driver */ while( NFC07A1_NFCTAG_Init(NFC07A1_NFCTAG_INSTANCE) != NFCTAG_OK );   /* Init User button to allow user to change EH configuration */ BSP_PB_Init( BUTTON_KEY, BUTTON_MODE_
