I am use Nucleo-H563Zi test the usb host feature, I connected the USB_USER jumper to provide VBUS, and just use 2 wire usb, ignore 2 CC line. and configed in cubeide as belowThen I generat code, and I add "HAL_HCD_Start(&hhcd_USB_DRD_FS);"before while(1) then compile and debug the programbut I can not detect the flash disk plugin and no usb interrupt occure.what config is wrong for this test. Thank you.

Hi All,Here is the situation:Device: STM32G0B1CET6N - connected to PC with USB. USB CDC stack is running inside MCU.PC:Win10 Pro 64-bit, COM-port is recognized, Teraterm is running and both in and out data directions are working OK when the Teraterm is configured to the corresponding port.Problem: When the Teraterm is not configured to the corresponding port (i.e. disconnected), the MCU firmware does not receive USB_ISTR_CTR interrupt and TxState remains 1, so further transmission is stuck.Question: Is it possible to avoid this? (Monitor some endpoint status before sending data or other way?) Thanks a lot and Best Regards,Boris.

I'm using STM32H563, and just use USB_DM USB_DP for usb connect and without connect UCPD_CC1 UCPD_CC2， can it work for USB type-a connect and worked as host for msc storage. Thank you.

Hello guys. I am working with STM32G030 MCU for delay in millisecond HAL_Delay();is working fine.but I want to do a delay in microseconds so will you please guide how I can do this? I followed this tutorial but not getting desired result.https://controllerstech.com/create-1-microsecond-delay-stm32 MY MCU operates on 16MHZ

Hi Folks,Is there a simple description on how to read and write to flash using HAL for the STM32H7A3 chip somewhere?I'm looking at the example in the STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.11.1 FLASH_erase_program.My application needs to store ten 8-bit values so I'm not storing much. I figure I can use the last sector of the flash memory. In the Linker script I changed FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 2040K from 2048K so I can use the last 8K of flash. Question - Do I have to remove 8K blocks? Or can I remove less, like maybe 2K?In the FLASH_erase_program:#define FLASH_USER_START_ADDR (FLASH_BASE + (FLASH_SECTOR_SIZE * 4)) /* Start @ of user Flash area in Bank1 */#define FLASH_USER_END_ADDR (FLASH_BASE + FLASH_BANK_SIZE - 1) /* End @ of user Flash area in Bank1 */How do I set the Start and End Addresses? Next question - Should I make FirstSector = 127 since I only need to use the last sector of FLASH for my variables?FirstSector = GetSector(FLASH_USER_START_ADDR); /* Get the 1st sector to erase

HELLOI am working with Xmodem  file transferring vai usb  I want to know how i get know about USB status like  Ready or not how we get in UART  while (!(HAL_UART_GetState(&huart4) == HAL_UART_STATE_READY) && wTimeout) {wTimeout--;}if (HAL_UART_GetState(&huart4) == HAL_UART_STATE_READY)break;}like this we have any things in USB i may not aware let me know

I'm attempting to set the clock to PLL on the board mentioned and view the output on MCO2. This is some of the defines I use  #define REG_SET_BIT(reg,pos) ((reg) |= (1U << (pos))) #define REG_CLR_BIT(reg,pos) ((reg) &= ~(1U << (pos))) #define REG_READ_BIT(reg,pos) ((reg) & (1U << (pos))) #define REG_CLR_VAL(reg,clrmask,pos) ((reg) &= ~((clrmask) << (pos))) #define REG_SET_VAL(reg,val,setmask,pos) do {\ REG_CLR_VAL(reg,setmask,pos);\ ((reg) |= ((val) << (pos))); \ }while(0) #define REG_READ_VAL(reg,rdmask,pos) ((REG_READ(reg) >> (pos)) & (rdmask))  This is the code to configure MCO2   RCC->AHB1ENR |= 4; // RCC->CFGR |= RCC_CFGR_MCO2_1 | RCC_CFGR_MCO2_0; RCC->CFGR |= (3U << 27); GPIOC->MODER &= ~(3U << 18); GPIOC->MODER |= (2 << 18); GPIOC->OSPEEDR |= (3U << 18); GPIOC->AFR[1] &= ~(0x0f

Hi,I have configured a USB virtual com port on an STM32F373 successfully.  I noticed the priority for the CDC_Receive_FS interrupt/callback seems to be set to the highest level.  I currently have a timer interrupt ( time critical event ) which cannot be delayed or interrupted by the USB interrupt.  Is it ok to set the USB priority to a lower level than my timer's priority?  My timer interrupt needs to handle a time-critical task but is very short so I'm thinking it should not interfere with the USB handling CDC_Receive_FS quickly enough to prevent a USB overflow. What is the best way to set the USB's interrupt priority lower than the timer's interrupt priority?Thank you,

I generally prefer the STM Low Level drives and chose that driver family for most peripheral in CubeMX Project Manager->Advanced Settings->Driver Selector.  There seem to be one disadvantage: the IRQHandlers are not generated as weak which I think happens with the CubeMX generated HAL IRQHandlers.  So with the LL drivers, I have to add a line of code to the CubeMX generated stm32h7xx_it.c file.  Like this:    void USART1_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_IRQn 0 */ myUSART1_IRQHandler(); /* USER CODE END USART1_IRQn 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_IRQn 1 */ /* USER CODE END USART1_IRQn 1 */ }    Is there a way to tell CubeMX to generate the IRQHandler stubs as weak? And what does the CubeMX Project Manager->Advanced Settings->Register CallBack disable/enable setting do? I've generated code with this enabled and disabled and don't see any obvious difference. Thanks

Description of the above errata's is not available in errata sheet for SPC584Bx, the message "Please refer to Security Errata Sheet" appears instead. Can you please provide descriptions of the security errata's DAN-0049972 and DAN-0053968?

Hi, I'm working on a project involving 2.4GHz RF communication and I am considering using the STM32WB series alongside the BlueNRG-1. I'm looking into the compatibility of these two devices, especially regarding the use of ST's specific drivers. My question is: Can the STM32WB communicate with the BlueNRG-1 when the BlueNRG-1 is using the "ST radio proprietary driver" and the STM32WB is using the "BLE low level driver (LLD)"?   (The APIs of these drivers seem similar, so I'm hopeful about the potential for integration.)

I want to use the internal RTC on the STM32U575 to maintain the date and time for an embedded application even when the main power supply is off. The VBAT pin of this chip is connected to a coin battery. However, I have observed that every time the main power is restored, the RTC resets itself and all the time and data information is cleared to default. This behavior is not desirable. The reference manual, RM0456, does not mention this issue in the RTC section. I am wondering if anyone in our community has experienced a similar situation.I have noticed discussions about a similar topic on other microcontrollers, but the solutions provided may not be applicable to the U5 chip.Thank you in advance.

hello everyone,In a battery-powered IoT project, I can never make accurate measurements because my battery voltage is the same as my reference voltage. I did not use any power ICs to reduce the cost of my project.I am using a 3.6V li-soci2 batterySaving power is very importantI think I need to use VREFINTI am using stm32f302r8t6How to measure the battery level (battery monitoring) of a battery-saving system that works with a 3.6v battery?

Hi All,I want to use two ADCs on STM32H7 configured equal, but using one DMA each, and measuring on different channels. However it seems like the ADC3 have options ADC1 and 2 doesn't have. In this case DMA continuous request. Is this intentional? A workaround?Best regards!

I have integrated lsm6dsv16bx in my Microcontroller and I'm able to see the IMU datas in output for example:  AX=61,AY=-131,AZ=-997,GX=-770,GY=2380,GZ=560.I have used the example code provided in the ST's official github page(https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Standard_C_drivers/blob/master/lsm6dsv16bx_STdC/examples/lsm6dsv16bx_read_data_polling.c).I'm able to see the changes in output during movement, & there seems to be less change in output while the sensor is static. The thing is, how can I confirm if this value that i'm getting is correct/accurate? is there any way to confirm/evaluate this value?

I need to connect two "STHS34PF80" sensors on the same I2C bus ,so does the "STHS34PF80" ST_IR sensor have the option to change his address as a slave by SW or HW?

Hello,I am interested in the ToF-Sensor VL53L8CH to get access to the histogram data. Is there any Evaluation-GUI to easily try out this sensor and to see the histogram data, similar to the GUI for the VL53L8CX (STSW-IMG041 - VL53L8CX Demo GUI)?Thanks and BR

I have spent all day on this.  Everything looks good because I can run or debug the firmware from within STM32CubeIDE and it works as would be expected.  However, after power cycling, the code is not running.I have checked that my interrupt vector table is in the correct position.Any suggestions?

Hello,Could you help me to defined a 8 pins component from ST with marking 293F305 . Seem voltage limitation  (transils) ? Thanks Regards

Hi!I have STM32F469 and I am analysing how to connect an USB port to it.My MCU will act as a device. PC will be the host.My MCU has power supply equal to 3.3V which is created via LDO which is independently powered (not from VBUS, from host’s USB).MCU sits on a PCB with rest of the components which are hungry for power. I presume the whole circuit will sink minimum 1A at 3.3VDC, or even more.Problem is how to protect 5V-tolerant GPIOs (used for D+ and D- USB lines) from injected current in case my MCU is unpowered and somebody connects it via USB port to a alive host.AN4899 has a solution for this in form of Zenner diodes. This are the extracts:  ..now there are 2 questions:What do they want to say with connecting 5V VBUS directly to MCU (green circle)? MCU supports only 3.3VDC.This is nicely thought out, but I don’t see how this is going to solve my problem because:Zenner diode can have voltage drop of 3.3V, but Zenner diode also requires this external resistor. This resisto

Hi,STPS3045CPI is now obsolete and STMicroelectronics no longer carries collateral support. I am wondering if anyone can help. I am looking thru old documentation but it is not clear to me whether the mounting plate on the top is connected to the common cathode (K) or not. Attached screenshot for clarity.I.e. I know for sure that STPS3045CT it is however that datasheet does not show it.Thanks!!

Hello,I am having an issue with the relationship between TouchGFX(4.23.0) and STM32CubeIDE(1.14.0). The project seems to be the a older board revision.Note: I have seen and tried some online tutorials for adding the IOC file into the project, but this leaves the user needing to set up the .IOC file and I get the following message:Not to mention several build errors.TouchGFX project through a CubeIDE projectN

Hi,i a trying to figure out, why my fdcan is not sending databytes. It only sends the id.And i think i found a bug. Or maybe its just me having not enough knowledge to comprehend it.In the function "FDCAN_CopyMessageToRAM" there is a part, where the data length is bit shifted to zero.
