Solved

Hi everyone,I've been programming with various ST-LINK V2s for over a year now and have almost never had any problems.A few days ago I started to encounter problems: that is, the various compilers and two STM32 programs to see the memory of the MCUs give me different errors, but with the STM32 compiler I received a new one "No ST-LINK with the specified serial number detected! Please connect ST-LINK and restart the debug session".I tried restarting the computer, changing the serial port to which the ST-LINK was connected, changing ST_LINK, changing the cable but nothing, I'm always getting the same error. What should I do?Thanks for your availability and have a good time

Does the latest version of the driver of STM32F4 supporting USB audio class and CDC composite device functionality?I want to use the USB interface of STM32F4 to develop the functions of USB audio and CDC composite devices.I have a question, is the latest version of the driver supporting USB audio and CDC composite device functionality? If supported, please let us know how to implement it.Thank you。

Hi, I am currently using SensorTile.box Pro with FP-SNS-DATALOG2 FW. After acquisition, I would need to convert the data from the microphone from .dat to .wav and to do this I am using the hsdatalog_to_wav.py example provided. Unfortunately, the resulting .wav seems to be empty. Duration is correct but no sound is present. Attached a picture of the .dat file converted to .csv (phases with no sound and with sound are visible) and the .wav file. Thank you for the support

Hi, I am using NanoEdgeAIStudio to detect anomalies on microphone signal. I am particularly interested in logging ultrasounds (from 20kHz to 100kHz). I used the Datalogger tool (in NanoEdgeAIStudio) to set up the datalogger and generate the neai_datalog.bin file. In this tool, I have noticed the only microphone available is "MP23ABS1" (see the screenshot below). I have read MP23ABS1's doc, though it is not clear to me if it is able to log ultrasounds ? Can you clarify this pls ? Also, I have read STWINKT1B's doc and I know there is also microphone IMP23ABSU (for ultrasounds, with a bandwidth up to 80kHz, as indicated in the doc). I would prefer to use IMP23ABSU instead of MP23ABS1 to log the data in NanoEdgeAIStudio. Is that possible  ?To clarify, I would like to collect data from microphone IMP23ABSU (using the tool "import signal" and "from serial (USB)", as below). So far, I set up a project using sensor type "Microphone sensor 1 axis", ODR=10

Hello,   I recently designed a wireless transmitter utilizing STWBC86, however, I have encountered a boot issue due to an empty FTP memory. I have been searching for firmware and a GUI to upload the firmware into the FTP, but have not had any success yet.   Has anyone encountered a similar issue or successfully designed and tested a wireless transmitter using STWBC86? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello to all,in our project we are using an STM32U5A5, and we need to be able to drive the sdcards at 1.8V if they are capable of it.We are using CubeMX to generate the basic code for initialization having configured the SDMMC1 to handle the transceiver. The part that switches the voltage works, and the callback "HAL_SD_DriveTransceiver_1_8V_Callback" is executed: inside this function we switched the voltage to 1.8V via a PIN.But the commands to the SDCard following this operation return the error: HAL_SD_ERROR_CMD_RSP_TIMEOUT.The error comes after executing "SD_PowerON", which completes successfully and performs the voltage change. More precisely it happens in the "SD_InitCard", executing the command: "SDMMC_CmdSendCID". (both function are on the stm32u5xx_hal_sd.c source file)  static uint32_t SD_InitCard(SD_HandleTypeDef *hsd) { HAL_SD_CardCSDTypeDef CSD; uint32_t errorstate; uint16_t sd_rca = 0U; uint32_t tickstart = HAL_GetTick(); /* Check the po

Hello,I have a question while configuring the GPIO on stm32cubeMX. I put all my pins in the program like this:When I configure all the pins and generate the code, not all the configured pins appear in the gpio.c file on stm32cubeIDE; for example, the UART RX and TX pins do not appear in stm32cubeIDE.Thank you so much.

Hi,We are now using NXP mcus for our smart lighting products, and decide to use STM32 mcus for instead from now, I bought one Nucleo-STM32G070, one Nucleo-STM32F103, and one Nucleo-STM32F767. The most challenging work for us is to build a TCP/IP application with STM32F767 or even STM32F103. However, we have never used STM32 before, we expect lots of questions during the learning period, and it would be quite helpful for us to have someone in China to provide techinical help. I called many ST offices and many distributors listed on ST's web site in China, but no one answered our calls or the telephone numbers do not exist. So please please find someone in China to help us.Best regardsChao

Before ST started bricking counterfeit st link V2 units, I was able to program my board without issue. I bought a confirmed genuine ST Link V2 from RS components and connected it exactly as shown, but it never connects to the target and all I can get is this output or an error which says no target found. I managed to upgrade the ST link firmware so it is connecting to the PC normally. 23:34:26:388 : STLinkUSBDriver.dll loaded23:34:26:394 : STLinkUSBDriver.dll loaded23:34:26:394 : ST-LINK SN : 37FF6C0630484B383826144323:34:26:394 : ST-LINK FW : V2J38S723:34:26:394 : Board : --23:34:26:394 : Voltage : 1.05V23:34:26:395 : Error: ST-LINK error (DEV_TARGET_CMD_ERR)23:34:26:410 : Disconnected

Hello, I am new to the touchgfx GUI generation. I am working on a simple touchscreen based thermal camera using an MLX sensor. I would like to draw the thermal image on to the screen of my STM32H750B-dk board.I thought of doing it via an dynamic bitmap by running an rtos task for comunication with the sensor, taking the measured temperature data and converting it to RGB565 equivalent bitmap, by simply scaling the measured data from min to max in a 0-255 scale which then goes to a color pallet lookup table. This way I get an RGB565 pixel color for each sensor pixel. I am sending the addres of the first pixel since the pixels are stored in an array which I am then storing in vector since the Touchgfx sreenView is code in cpp.Now comes the problem I can not get the Bitmap::dynamicBitmapcreate(w,h,Bitmap::format); to return a valid BitmapId. I tried following many tutorials and solutions to similar problems with creating the required cache but whenever I try to assaign the cacheAddress to a

Hi,I just bought a Necleo-STM32F767ZI board, and downloaded the example "LwIP_HTTP_Server_Netconn_RTOS" in CubeIDE, and made following changes in main.h:#define IP_ADDR2   3#define GW_ADDR2 3As for the board, I did not make any changes on the jumpers.then built it and ran it, I saw the LEDs changes, but it failed almost immediately after file-download-complete. Hey there :)I am having trouble running the nucleo (NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-Q) as an I2C slave where read/write sizes are unknown (only known by master)For the configuration I am using CubeMX and most of the time the slave is working quite fine. However sometimes (1 in 100), the slave transmit count (how many bytes have been read by the master) is not correct (one off - although the master reads the correct amount of data (see analyzer picture)) My code structure:// First run the cubeMX init code and enable listening MX_I2C2_Init(); HAL_I2C_EnableListen_IT(hi2c); // When the slave address maches, the write or read HAL function is called void HAL_I2C_AddrCallback(I2C_HandleTypeDef* hi2c, uint8_t TransferDirection, uint16_t /*AddrMatchCode*/) { if (TransferDirection == I2C_DIRECTION_TRANSMIT) { slave_match_master_write = true; HAL_I2C_Slave_Seq_Receive_IT(hi2c, buffer_, sizeof(buffer_), I2C_FIRST_FRAME); } else { slave_match_master_write = false; HAL_I2C_Slave_Seq_Transmit_IT

I've got the I2S working with DMA as slave receiver, works great, bit perfectly fills receiving buffer, until I restart the master, or introduce noise to I2S bus, then it just loses it, fills buffer with nonsense after that. It's not able to resync to same valid signal that was working previously.Sure I expect to lose some frames, life happens to input signal, it should be able to resync. So how can I make it resync?I know that errata says I have to wait for WS high before enabling DMA, but what about after corruption?I don't even know when the signal is invalid since there is no checksum,I can't ask the user restart the device until it starts working..Some audiophile DACs take I2S signal over cable, so anything could happen to it. hi2s2.Instance = SPI2; hi2s2.Init.Mode = I2S_MODE_SLAVE_RX; hi2s2.Init.Standard = I2S_STANDARD_PHILIPS; hi2s2.Init.DataFormat = I2S_DATAFORMAT_32B; hi2s2.Init.MCLKOutput = I2S_MCLKOUTPUT_DISABLE; hi2s2.Init.AudioFreq = I2S_AUDIOFREQ_44K; hi2s2.Init.C

When starting a debug after uploading to target I get this error:"(Read)Failed determine breakpoint type"this happens randomly as I recreate my project all working good at start but then I get it again randomly.only thing I can guess it is happening after using CubeMX and 'generate code',even happened when I just generate without any change to configuration.once it happen I can't fix it, I need to delete the project and create a new one.the only thing I found is some change in the .ioc file after 'generate code'at the line start with"ProjectManager.functionlistsort=1-MX_GPIO_Init-GPIO-false-HAL-true,2-SystemClock_Config-RCC........"while I didn't change anything in configuration.more wired things are:size of this file shown at console 96bytes???? ****Memory Programming ...Opening and parsing file: ST-LINK_GDB_server_a32308.srecFile : ST-LINK_GDB_server_a32308.srecSize : 96.00 B Address : 0x08000000 *****it also says in disassembly"f3af4804: Failed to execute MI command:

I'm trying to work with a slider on the STM32F429I-Discovery board.I have build a GUI with the GUI-tool.The widgets are created in the LogViewerDLG.c file as follows:static const GUI_WIDGET_CREATE_INFO _aDialogCreate[] = {{ FRAMEWIN_CreateIndirect, "LogViewer", ID_FRAMEWIN_0, 0, 0, 240, 320, 0, 0x64, 0 },{ MULTIEDIT_CreateIndirect, "Multiedit", ID_MULTIEDIT_0, 6, 4, 214, 149, 0, 0x0, 0 },{ BUTTON_CreateIndirect, "Auto", ID_BUTTON_0, 9, 244, 100, 50, 0, 0x0, 0 },{ BUTTON_CreateIndirect, "Manual", ID_BUTTON_1, 117, 244, 100, 50, 0, 0x0, 0 },{ SLIDER_CreateIndirect, "Slider", ID_SLIDER_0, 7, 164, 214, 35, 0, 0x0, 0 },{ EDIT_CreateIndirect, "Edit", ID_EDIT_0, 72, 206, 80, 20, 0, 0x64, 0 },The Multiedit, Edit and buttons all work correctly. I am having trouble working with the slider though.To set the range and get the slider value I need the SLIDER_Handle hObj. I have no idea what the Handle is or how to find it. I've tried these functions, but they do not work:SLIDER_SetRange(ID_SLID

Hi,We are planning migrate our product based on STM32G431CBU6 to STM32G474CCU6. Need to make sure they are compatible in hardware design, are the two pin-to-pin compatible? Thanks.

Wich eval board mcu stm32 recommend me to learn and in the future can match with dsp.Regards

I got a problem when building the project in the CubeIDE.According to the console, the function "function1" is not declared, but in the .hpp it is.I think the .cpp is not realizing that the .hpp is changing. Here, when I use the content assit, function1 doesnt show up.

Hi All, Been reading and learning a lot about MCU's in general. I'm very very new to all of this so please bare with me.The board comes with STM32F427, and a custom .exe that can flash directly via USB-C. I've read about fake STM32's, and. I'm not sure if the MCU is genuine or not, but I'm adding the picture so someone can maybe help. The board comes with Ethernet, 3 USB-A, 1 USB-C (act as UART maybe?)The custom .exe can be flashed via USB-C after I put it in DFU mode I presume? (I hold the boot, it flashes blue to allow the flashing). I can click on flash, restore, or even backup basic configs.I would like to duplicate or retrieve the firmware so I can test it in another board. I tried STM32Cube, ESPtools, and many others, but it doesn't seem to recognize any connectivity.Any help or guidance would be appreciate. Thanks.

Hello I wanted to create a external loader for STM32F411CEU6 (WeAct Blackpill board) and W25Q64 flash memory chip. I did it based on the tutorial from youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlG2doCkREM&t=1792s I the tutorial i found link to W25QXX libray. And after testing in a simple project writing and reading,i know the libray works, but when i compile the external loader and test it in debug mode, the SPI transmit return HAL_Busy status, only when i debug the external loader project.I tried to lower SPI speed but without success. Why the libray works in a simple project but in a external loader project no. I see no reason why the SPI_Transmit status is BUSY.Here is link to repo (external loader project): https://github.com/apaczenko1993/W25Q64_BLACKPILL-F411 Maybe someone has commpiled external loader for BlackPill Board with W25Q64 flash chip, or helps me to explan what is wrong?

I got a problem when saving a TouchGFX project and open it with the CubeIDE.The first time I opened a proyect from TouchGFX with the CubeIDE, it looked like this. But then, when I do new proyects they look like this. I can't do anything and I tried uninstalling both programs and reinstalling them but It does nothing.I really need help.

I am using STM3210C-EVAL board. It has a audio jack port. Datasheet says i can play audio but i couldn't find anything about audio input. My question is:Can i record audio using a 3.5mm jack microphone via this jack input? And does this jack port support I2S protocol? If not, what is the best way to get audio input?

How can I get the value from a textArea so I can compare it with this '-' character?

I am running CubeIDE on OSX (not sure if t hat makes a difference)In the pinout & configuration you can see that some of the configured items, for example ETH and USART1 have a little green triangle next to them, indicating what I believe is a conflict.  If I hover the mouse over the icon, in just the right place, it will show a popup, but, no matter what I do, after a second of being visible, the popup disappears again, so I do not get long enough to read what its telling me, thus cannot figure out what I am being told. Is CubeMX really this buggy/ Is there some other view I can look at that will give me information about these conflicts so I may try to resolve them?Sorry if this is a dumb question, its probably obvious if you know what you are doing.  Eclipse has always been terrible, and so far CubeIDE has not disappointed. On a less frustated note, I do have a Nucleo 144/ 429 board running with a blinkey example I managed to write and program to the boa
