It seems STM32CubeMX has a bug related to the STM32H5's HMI BSP component. If you do not wish to use this BSP component and want to configure the affected pins manually (like with other boards that do not have this HMI BSP component), the project will not properly reload the saved settings. Steps to reproduce:1. Start a new STM32H5 project in STM32CubeMX (v6.10.0)- Specify board: NUCLEO-H563ZI- Select: "without TrustZone actived"- Unselect: "Human Machine Interface"2. Change the configuration of one of the pins related to the LEDs, (Blue) Push Button, or ST-LINK UART- The related pins are:- PB0 (LD1, Green)- PF4 (LD2, Yellow)- PG4 (LD3, Red)- PC13 (Button)- PD9 (UART RX, for STLINK VCP). It's also worth noting the label applied is "VCP_TX" here, which is confusing as it does not match the function of the pin (I think someone wanted to match net-names instead of labelling it with the pin's function).- PD8 (UART TX, for STLINK VCP) Same as above this is labelled as "VCP_RX" and

Hi, i'm moving from IAR to STM32CubeIDE all my projects based on STM32 microcontrollers. On IAR i modified the entry point of the project from 0x8000000 to 0x8008000. How may do same modify on CubeIDE? Thanks.Massimo Liggio

Hello. I am using the STM8S001J3 MCU. I want to use the reset function in my MCU. stm8 has a total of 9 Reset functions.●External reset through the NRST pin● Power-on reset (POR) and brown-out reset (BOR): During power-on, the POR keeps the device under reset until the supply...Among them, I want to use POR and BOR functions How do I use the BOR function in the stm8 (STM8S001J3) MCU? The Datasheet only describes concepts. And which program should I use to set the POR and BOR functions? Let me explain the problem I have. The MCU (stm8) uses the pwm out function using GPIO, but there are many cases where the pwm out does not work due to the 5V High signal. Therefore, I want to reset the MCU whenever the 5V High signal comes out.

Hello all , I want to download  STM32F746ZGT6 DATA SHEET which having detailed  explanation of register's.. which register we have to axis for communication like UART , USART , SPI, I2C etc..

Hi,I have a board that I designed using the STM32F750Z8. It transfers data from a Himax hm01b0 image sensor via the DCMI port to USB using DMA.This is a stripped down version of my FreeRTOS thread that initializes and reads the image sensor. I've removed parts that I feel are irrelevant.   void camera_task(void const* args) { camera_frame_ready_semaphore = xSemaphoreCreateBinaryStatic(&camera_frame_ready_semaphore_buffer); // ... // initialize image sensor power supply and clock. // image sensor does not start sending frames yet. pclk, vsync, and hsync are inactive. // ... // enable DMA clock __HAL_RCC_DMA2_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_DCMI_CLK_ENABLE(); osDelay(1); // setup DCMI #if 0 DCMI->CWSIZER = (239 << 16) | (((320 * 2) - 1) << 0); // image is 640 x 240 (this is correct.) DCMI->CWSTRTR = ( 2 << 16) | ( 4 << 0); // 2x4 pixel border around edge. DCMI->CR |= (1 << 2); // enable crop feature #endif DCMI->IER =

Hi,we are currently developing an application where we need to integrate the ST25DV16KC NFC together with ST32WL.For this use-case I downloaded the firmware STSW-ST25DV010 and flashed it on the NUCLEO-WL55JC. This is working fine. Because we are using the STM32WLE5 in our project I transferred the libraries to our project and adjusted it, so it can work with the STM32WLE5. This only works for NFC initialisation, but not for writing NDEF. From the example code in main.c I have this piece of code     if ( nfc_init( ) != 0 ) { APP_PRINTF("NFC init failed!\r\n"); Error_Handler(); } else { int sts; sts = lp_write_ndef_uri_dev_id( NULL, 0 ); APP_PRINTF("NFC write failed! %d\r\n", sts); if ( sts != 0 ) { APP_PRINTF("NFC write failed!\r\n"); // Error_Handler(); } nfc_mb_init(); }  The lp_write_ndef_uri_def_id method fails with status code -3, so I digged deeper and the problem is in lib_provisioning.c where the method getURI is. Digging deepe

Good dayI am using LSM6DSO with 3V3 VDD and 1V8 VDDIO.Can the supplies(VDD and VDDIO) be ON/OFF independently or is there a requirement for one of the two to be ON before the other? In my instance the VDD might come on before the VDDIO and in other circumstance the VDD might be switched OFF and VDDIO might remain ON.The device functions in I2C mode. Does CS have to be HIGH when VDD is applied or can CS be changed/set dynamically after VDD was applied?Would this pose a problem?Thank you.

Hi, 1. How to implement WLC-P for ST25R3916B?2. Can recommend documentation based on WLC for NFC?Best, Dalik Lim

Hi,I would like to use NXP ICODE ILT tags (ISO18000-3) with the ST25R3911B device. As ISO18000-3 is similar to ISO15693, is it possible to use stream mode (as in RFAL) to support ISO18000-3 ? Is there any HW limitation ?  If no, did any of you already do this ?RegardsFred

The stm32f429 disc1 board is throwing this error once I connect my board. The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU.

I am using STM32F429VIT6. Configured SystemCoreClock 168MHz and APB2 clock is 84MHz. I accidentally configured ADC peripheral with "ADC_CommonInitStructure.ADC_Prescaler = ADC_Prescaler_Div2;" but datasheet says max ADC frequency is 36MHz. I am wondering about my ADC peripheral clock:- Is it running at 42MHz with overclocking? or- Is it running with max freq. so it is 36MHz? or- Is it running with typical freq. so it is 30MHz? or- Is it ignore ADC_Prescaler_Div2 and process it with ADC_Prescaler_Div4 so it is 21MHz?

I am using the STM32WL55JC I tried the Ping-Pong single core code from the latest STM32WL package and it works pretty fine, I want to code the Rx and Tx separately but I am not able to duplicate the example code So I decided to code the Ping-Pong example code from scratch. I configured all the sections as like in the example code .ioc file except the SubGhz parameters in the Middleware section, many parameters are not available but those are configured in the example folder. How do I proceed further in creating the ping-pong code from scratch, how to configure the SubGhz parameters in the middleware section. Or how to duplicate the example project. These two are the configuration file of the Subghz Ping-Pong code that I am trying from the scratch. This is the SS of the configuration file of the example ping-pong project folder.

Good afternoon, I am developing an hardware with microcontroller in Object. I'm using the LQFP208 package because in my opinion it's easier to solder/remove in my lab. For my application I need the support for: ETHERNET FMC for SDRAM QUADSPI SDMMC1 USB OTG FS LTDC UART, I2C and SPI when I try to create the IOC file I have some problems with the FMC setting for the SDRAM. All the peripherals end with the green check instead I have a warning on the FMC and so I don't understand whether or not I can use this processor with these requirements. Anyone could help me? Thanks in advance Alfredo

Hello everyone,i want to config gpio pin as adc chanels on stm32f103c8t6, i have read the GPIO chapter and ADC chapter, but i can not find out what is GPIO pin for each ADC chanel, example GPIOA_pin0 for ADC1_chanel0...,what is the chapter describe about this?? Thank you for helping!!!

Hi, I need clarification about interrupt on ILPS22QS barometric pressure sensor. My test project involves LIS3MDL and ILPS22QS connected to MSDA and MSCL on LSM6SDO, which is connected to an mcu in 4-wire SPI interface, to use sensor hub on LSM6DSO (I've only come up with schematics so far). My concern is that LIS3MDL has INT pin that can be used for data ready and ILPS22QS has built-in interrupt generator block according to page 19 on AN5764 but no interrupt pin on the IC, which I am not familiar with. What I want to ask is,1. Is it possible to send data ready signal from ILPS22QS to LSM6DSO for sensor hub operation?2. If yes, is sending data ready signal done through master i2c between ILPS22QS and LSM6DSO in this case, or maybe another pin on ILPS22QS can be used as interrupt pin for DRDY alternatively? If there is anything I am mistaken about, please feel free to correct me.Thank you in advance,

Hi,I go my own hardware, that connects the ST25R3916b-aq chip to a nRF52840 Bluetooth Module and its SPI bus.  (and the I2C bus, just in case).Im using the Segger Embedded Studio with the nRF5 SDK for programming.Because and the communication is quite complex for the SPI, I want to use the RFAL library. If I just import it to my project, its missing the platform.h file. That file includes the "stm32f4xx_hal.h" and that can't work for my nRF52840. Where do i go from here?I know the basics of C coding, but im new to nRF and would really apreciate some help to get me in the right direction.Thank you!

Hello, I'm working on the Wifi on the board B-U585I-IOT2A. I'd like to connect 2 modules, including the microcontroller, to the same wifi so that they can communicate with each other.I've made some research about Wifi MXCHIP EMW3080 and example HTTP_IOT_HTTPSERVER but i still not succeed to connect any network by taking parts of the codeHas anyone ever encountered this problematic before ?could the lwip library be useful? Thanks you for your help.

Using STM32CubeIDE 1.6.1 and an ST-LINK V3, I'm trying to debug an application flashed onto an STM32H747I-DISCO board. The application/binary is built "outside" STM32CubeIDE from command line, and I can upload it to the board with STM32CubeProgrammer, which I have also downloaded separately to try out. Then, I try to import/create a new project in IDE, and import the binary as the executable file. When I click "Finish", a pop-up appears: , which doesn't sound promising. And sure enough, when I try to set up the debug configurations, it looks like this: What does "This debug configuration is associated to a target which is not promoting any debug device (or debug device not supported)" mean? I have searched for hour on similar topics, but can't seem to find a solution that fixes my issues. As I said, it seems that I can upload this binary with STM32CubeProgrammer, but of course, something might go wrong there and I just don't notice. I can provide more details, but I gues

which camera module is used for stm32...?

Hi all, I installed Unicleo-GUI on my Windows laptop, and was able to read sensor data from my NUCLEO-IKS01A3 board successfully. The board was automatically identified by the software as being connected to COM4 yesterday. For some reason today the software recognizes the COM connection but not the board and thus won't display the data being read by it on the screen. I have tried reinstalling Unicleo as well as the FP-SNS-DATALOG2 function pack with no success. Any advice or suggestions are appreciated!!

I follow the prompts and no upgrade firmware file is downloaded to my phone.  Please see pictures:

At this point, the I2C statuses all look normal. I have written code to extract temperature and humidity data values via high-resolution single-shot mode, but the data values are not being extracted correctly. Do I need to set the high-speed mode and access write, read before entering single-shot mode? I don't know what the heck is wrong.board:NUCLEOF303K8 / sensor: SHT30DLS, gpio / i2c source and header file is no problem / i2c = fast modeif you help me. i'm will bless to you every every every day...

Hi.I have the IDE with the STEVAL-CTM01xV1 shunt_FOC and downloaded on the Board. As the example came, the motor doesen't work.I opened the main.c file and I could see that it does not have any function inside the main while(1) loop. How could I have a working example to start testing the board?
