attn @Brian TIDAL et alI have yet another issue I don't understand. I have code that I have run against two similar products using the same ST25DV04K tag. The products differ in that one has a slower CPU clock. On the product with the faster clock, my code works and produces the expected result, but on the other product I get the output below. I am transferring messages in mailbox mode. I have successfully sent my message, and I need to wait for the remote host to send back an acknowledgement message containing a 32-bit CRC. I start to poll the mailbox control register to see if the message is ready, but the command results in error code "No Memory". The error code doesn't appear to make much sense in this context, but it's repeatable and happens every time. Can anyone shed any light on how to interpret this? NFC|INFO | | Mailbox/"ConnectState".Run NFC|TRACE| | Present password {passwordNumber} as 0000000b 00x 0d NFC|TRACE| | Transceive 20 bytes, timeout 1000 NFC|TRACE|

Hi,I'm working on STM32WB10CC with 320KB of flash memory.I'm using the full ble stack 1.14.1 (stm32wb1x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin) which has a size of 148KB.In the release note it's written you have to put it at this address 0x08021000.If I'm doing the math 0x08021000 + 148KB = 0x8046000.The last address of the flash memory is 0x0804FFFF. 0x0804FFFF - 0x8046000 = 0x9FFF = 40KBI have 40KB of free memory but I'm not able to write in this part of the memory. Does anyone have an explanation about the 40k extra memory and why I can't write to it ?Is it possible to write the ble stack to another address ? There is also an error in the Reference Manual (RM0478) p.54. The address should be 0x0804FFFF not 0x8004FFFF.Thanks for your help

HiI am using STM32H753VIT6 together with LAN8742A.I have some questions regarding the setup.1. My schematic for the LAN8742A is shown in the picture below. I plan to use the PHY to generate the clock. To my knowledge this requires a pulldown resistor on INTSEL which is done with R420.nRST is connected to nRST on the MCU and a button is connected to pull it low if needed. When I power on my board I would expect an output on the REFCLKO (pin 14). But this pin is constantly low?2. I have also tried to make a project to make a project with ETH and LWIP, but that does not make any difference and there is no output on REFCLKO (pin 14).In the datasheet for LAN8742A, it is stated that after power-on, nRST need to be asserted. I am a little unsure if this is handle in software when it is setup by STM32CUBE?Hope somebody have some inputs or even better a solution :)Thank you!

Dear All,on my STM32F board, i have the uart rx pin not connected/floating. Due to too many noise interrupts, I have configured UART in tx mode only and disabled RX interrupts. Is this fine? Or should the internal pull up be enabled for the RX pin?

I am having issues selecting 2 motors when creating a new project using 6.1.2.  the dropdown box only displays "1".  this functionality seems to work in workbench 5.4.8.  All of the documentation say to just select the number of motors.  I am new to this ecosystem and this is my first time using these products. thanks

Hello everyone,I'm having issues with programming a STM32F429IIT using USB DFU. Im able to program it without issue with a STLinkv3 and the hardware is fully working.  The issue is strictly when using ST-Prog, the firmware download will reach 54% and then fail. The device seems to working as indented even though it failed to complete the programming. I believe the issue is that the externally mapped SRAM (FMC) is included in the ELF & Hex file and the programming utility tries to program it but fails. The external SRAM is only used as a display buffer so i'm not interested in filling it with data during the programming stage.I'm not completely sure if this is the case and even less sure of how to fix it while still keeping the external SRAM memory region in the linker script.Any help is appreciated :)Linker script/* Memories definition */ MEMORY { CCMRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x10000000, LENGTH = 64K RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 192K FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN =

Hello community! I am developing an app that is running in an H7 MCU, the M7 core app is "turning on" the M4 and then is running to an external flash where is the actual M7 code.I am looking to implement an update in this M7 "bootloader". As i understand, before "turning on" the M4, i can interact with the flash region where the M4 has its code to run, so my idea is in the M7 bootloader to start an USB port to detect an USB disk and if there is a .bin file for each core, to write the M7 in the external ram (using a code similar to the developed external loader for example?) and for the M4, just a write in the M4 memory location? I look forward for your commends dear community :) Thanks!

Hello,I'm using ADC together with DMA.At first start of ADC and DMA all worked like expected. At 2nd and following starts, the first value received from DMA is always zero / invalid. Now I have found out that it works if between two DMA transfers I useLL_ADC_Disable(ADC2);and afterwardsLL_ADC_Enable(ADC2);//code snippet:LL_DMA_SetDataLength(DMA2, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1, 100U);LL_DMA_EnableChannel(DMA2, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1);LL_ADC_REG_StartConversion(ADC2);while (LL_DMA_GetDataLength(DMA2, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1) > 0U){}LL_ADC_REG_StopConversion(ADC2);LL_DMA_DisableChannel(DMA2, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1);LL_ADC_Disable(ADC2);while(LL_ADC_IsDisableOngoing(ADC2)){}LL_ADC_Enable(ADC2); Now my questions:Is disable/enable of the ADC absolutely necessary?Or is there a less brute way to reuse the ADC together with DMA?Thanks in advance.Best regardsJohann

Dear @Khouloud ZEMMELI , @Imen.D ,I am building IOC file with help of a make release file which I execute under bash. The (default) STM32CubeIDE project has Debug as the Active configuration and also has the "-O ihex" enabled under the MCU Post build outputs settings.I want to also pass the "Convert to Intel HEx file (-O ihex)" setting as input to STM32CubeIDE when I execute below under bash C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.14.1/STM32CubeIDE/stm32cubeidec.exe -nosplash -application org.eclipse.cdt.managedbuilder.core.headlessbuild -cleanBuild ${BLD_TYPE} -importAll ./ -data ${TMPDIR} > BuildResult.Log  Please suggest how this shall be achieved.I assume the number / id / optionid 1613718931 will differ for different projects,  <option id="com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.gnu.managedbuild.option.converthex.1613718931" name="Convert to Intel Hex file (-O ihex)" superClass="com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.gnu.managedbuild.option.converthex" useByScannerDiscovery="false" value="true" va

Hello,I'm having an issue while programming a small section of FLASH memory during runtime of my device. Our device executes its program from FLASH memory. In-addition, we reconfigured the systick timer to run at 20kHz and this is the heartbeat of our program. Every 1/20kHz secs, the device reads the user input and then updates some signal outputs.Occasionally we need to save state so that we can recall certain settings in-case of a loss of power. To do this, we set a flag and then in the main while() loop we initiate a write to flash memory. We only need to write 64 bytes and we do it using a wear-leveling technique. I was expecting this to happen seamlessly in the background but I was surprised to find that it interrupts the flow of the systick code (even though this is a high priority interrupt). This results in a glitch in the user interface that is noticeable in certain scenarios.I've used a pair of GPIO pins to show what happens:-The top pulse is the systick heartbeat. We set the

The configuration of Cubemx is as followsThe configured address is the address of SRAM1-3，given this configuration, why does "Strongly ordered memory" cause a HardFault Thanks.

I could not download the STM32MP starter package. The login and download page simply cycle and the download does not happen. Wondering if anyone else encountered this issue.

I am using `HAL_SPI_Transmit_IT()` API to transmits 6 frames. The TXP interrupt correctly fires and feeds the TXDR register however after feeding the last frame into TXDR the EOT never fires, actually no interrupt fire after the last frame is feed.Frame Size: 9 bitsFiFo threshold: 1 All the interrupts that were enabled remain enabled including the EOT. (EIR=0x328)TSIZE: 6 (does not change)SCLK: 125KHzSource CLK to SPI: HSI (16MHzPrescaler: 128The system clock is running 160MHzIt's worth noting polling mode also failed because EOT isn't being set either. In other drivers we use HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA() and it works as expected. I reviewed  the STHAL driver but I do not see anything obvious wrong. What criteria, besides TSIZE, triggers the hardware to set the EOT flag?

Hello STM32 community,I'm facing an issue with my STM32L562VE MCU where I'm not receiving SPI clock signals whenever I attempt to transmit or receive data. Here are the specifics of my setup:MCU: STM32L562VESPI Mode: 0Data Word Length: 8 bitsMain Clock Frequency: 80MHzSPI Clock Frequency (after prescaler of 2): 40MHzMCU is connected to two crystals:LSE (Low-Speed External) crystal: 32kHzHSE (High-Speed External) crystal: 48MHzClock Source Used: MSI only (despite having LSE and HSE crystals)I've also uploaded the .ico file and other related files for reference.Despite these configurations, I'm not receiving the expected SPI clock signals. I've checked my connections and configurations, but I haven't been able to identify the root cause of the issue.Has anyone in the community encountered a similar problem with SPI clock signals on the STM32L562VE MCU? Any insights, suggestions, or solutions would be greatly appreciated.Thank you for your assistance.Best regards,Giridhara Datta G

We're planning on using an STM32103RET6 with an external 10K pull up to VDD (3.3V). Can the STLINK-V3SET drive the combination of the internal pull up (30K-50K) and the external 10K resistance on the NRST pin?

Hi! I'm trying to use the following function:HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_IT(&hlpuart1, lpuartRXbuffer, 64);I've seen a few example codes using it but otherwise google shows nothing when I search for it. I think I should get some callback but I cannot figure what should it be. I tried the following: void HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCalllback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart, uint16_t Size) {   }But there is no response.I'm new to the STM32 software environment, coming from Arduino and Atmel so any advice where to find such information helps a lot.

Hello,RM0444.Rev5 page 98 says that it is possible to reset it only when:• RDP is set to Level 0, or• RDP is set to Level 1, while Level 0 is requested and a full mass-erase is performed.I supposed that if RDP is changed from level1 to level0 then the BOOT_LOCK is also automatically removed after the mass-erase triggered by that RDP change. Is that correct? This is not what I see with STM32CubeProgrammer v2.10.0 and stm32g031 chip because I have to manually remove it in a successive step.Thank you.

Hi everyone!I'm using a NucleoWB55 and the LPUART protocole to communicate with a SIMCOM module. I'm able to send via the LPUART the AT commands that I want and to receive it's answers. I'm now trying to print on my terminal the content of my web page. I connected a USB to TTL (CP2102 module) to observe the UART RX of the SIMCOM module. The module transmits the entire content of the web page but I can't get it on my STM32 via LPUART. To make it easy to understand here are some screenshots : Here is the terminal where I transmit via UART the received data:Here is the terminal where the transmit data of the SIMCOM module is connected: We can see the entire content of the web page. Finally the interesting parts of my code : Commands and reception buffers:                     I presume there's a problem in receiving and displaying the data received. I know my "received" buffer

I've been asked to write some firmware for a legacy board that has an STM32F102CBT6 mcu on it.I have been involved in other computer and mcu projects over the years, but not with an STM32F. I'd like to get up to speed by starting on some basic programs on a simple (but somewhat similar) development board. I'll be writing my programs on a Windows laptop.I see development boards like the NucleoF103RB pretty cheap. But I don't see a Nucleo102F.Since the board I'll be coding for was built in 2011, I can see how maybe mcu's available at that time are not so well supported with development boards nowadays. That's fine if what I learn by practicing with whatever development board I get will help me transfer what I've learned to my target board.Do you have any suggestions for a development board? Or maybe it doesn't matter, as any of them will do?Thanks for your help and suggestions!

I have a STM32G0B1VET on a test board and tried to use its USB host function to connect a flash drive. It just stuck at the function of "USBH_MSC_SCSI_Inquiry" in file "usbh_msc_scsi.c". It can't pass  the state of below:case BOT_CMD_WAIT:   error = USBH_MSC_BOT_Process(phost, lun);where the error returns "USBH_BUSY".I have tried to increase the stack and heap to 0x2000. And I tried several different flash drives (500MB to 16GB). The same thing happened. I have measured the 48Mhz signal which is good.I have tried putting 30 Ohm resistors on the DP and DM line.I have tried using GPIO pin to control the 5V line for flash drive.I have tried using 3.3V for flash drive.Does anybody have an idea what's wrong? Any successful case? Thanks.

Hello,I checked out the documentation about TouchGFX (Link) and additionally installed TouchGFX as standalone software (without CubeMX).I would like to know, whether this framework can be used for other (non-STMicroelectronics) ARM Cortex MCUs. I found this page in the documentation which describes how to use TouchGFX with or without RTOS but the whole documentation seems like based on using CubeMX. I cannot find any "straight forward" initialisation routine for TouchGFX to use for other MCUs. Is it possible to use TouchGFX with any other ARM Cortext MCUs and if yes, is there any documentation for setting up the project and initialisation of software? Thanks,Best regards!

Hello, I have made a simple application with STM32G071RB_NUCLEO and an X-NUCLEO-GFX01M2 I TouchGFX. The problem is that the needle in the Gauge or the hands in the analogue clock are not displayed. When I look at Memory Details in STM32CubeIDE I can see the files. Does anyone know how to fix it? Br. Stig Hansen
