Hi,I'm currently gaining experience with the STM32G4, whose ROM bootloader supports various interfaces. AN2606 describes the configuration of the pins occupied by the interfaces.Various pins are operated in push-pull mode, which can lead to undesirable effects in an external circuit. My question is whether it is possible to deactivate unneeded interfaces in the bootloader, e.g. via option bytes, or whether this can only be achieved with a separate bootloader. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Hello, I have made a custom external flash loader(.stldr) file for my STM32 based board. Reading the content of the external flash via CubeProgrammer works fine. But when programming i run into the following problem: CubeProgrammer tries to write partial pages, which fails.device setup in Dev_Inf.c:struct StorageInfo const StorageInfo = {#endif"W25Q_BurnerHMI_PT1_loader_v1", // Device NameNOR_FLASH, // Device Type0x70000000, // Device Start AddressPAGE_COUNT*MEM_PAGE_SIZE_BYTES, // Device Size in Bytes (8192 pages * 512 bytes)MEM_PAGE_SIZE_BYTES, // Programming Page Size (512 bytes)0xFF, // Initial Content of Erased Memory// Specify Size and Address of Sectors (view example below){{SECTOR_COUNT, MEM_SECTOR_SIZE_BYTES}, // Sector Num (512), Sector Size (8192 bytes){0x00000000, 0x00000000}},}; The image i'm writing has a size of 2097152 bytes (2MiB) and in the UART debug print i can see that CubeProgrammer is splitting the image like this:Write(Address:0x70000000, Size:0x7D500, buff

Hi,I need to service an external watchdog when a flash sector is being erased. The sector being erased is in the same flash bank where code is executed from. Before I try to jump and run from RAM I had a few questions.Where is flash stall discussed in the reference manual?Given the chip architecture, is there any issue with toggling a pin on Port G when a sector erase is ongoing? In other words, is the AXI bus matrix stalled during a flash erase? Thanks!

Hello,i have problem with custom board assembled with STM32F767BIT6. I'm trying to interfacing LCD-TFT DEM 800480K3 TMH-PW-N which is assembled by HX8264E, HX8664B drivers. I'm using RGB888 interface configured via STMCubeIDE filled by resolution 800x480 with 1 layer and small buffer 320x240 located in internal SRAM on address 0x2003FFFF(i have 8MB external SDRAM but i'm trying to use small buffer in SRAM for workaround first), inverted DE polarity, clock for LTDC is 32MHz. But LCD still doesn't work. So i connected oscilloscope and i see correct 32MHz pixel clock, i see correct HSYNC but VSYNC is always low and DE sometimes sent some chaotic pulses or rest arround 1,7V. I checked connection on HW and it looks fine.(When i try full resolution 800x480 for layer i've got transfer data error and fifo underrun error. When i tried external SDRAM which is probably badly configured im not unable to reflash STM because STLink is not able to find my STM32, then i have to full erase chip via STM

Hi,I have seen that the new STM32WL33 have support for 4-FSK, high receive sensitivity and wake-up receiver LPAWUR, which is beneficial for both high-data-rate and long-range applications. However, LoRa support is reserved for STM32WL55 and STM32WLE5, which don't support 4-FSK.Will there be a controller that combines both LoRa and also 4-FSK support, and perhaps also higher sensitivity and LPAWUR?Thank you very much!

Hello Support Team.Good Day.We have chosen the STM32G484VET controller for our product.According to the firmware architecture, we intend to create two separate partitions, one for safety-critical (non-upgradable area) and the other for non-safety-critical (Upgradable area)When we will go to certification that time we will only certify the safety-critical code.So can you provide me guidance for code separation for safety and non-safety code?If you have any examples of the same STM32G4 series, please share them with us.Thank you, Hiren R. Thumar.

Hi,I want to set the raw data to around 2k bandwidth and receive all data through FIFO.From what I understand, to set it to 2k bandwidth-Bandwidth ODR/4 = 2.6kHz, HPCF_XL = 0, LPF2_XL_EN =1-FIFO_CTRL3 BDR_XL = 0b1010 ( 26667Hz ) And at this time, if the speed of BDR_XL value is greater than the set bandwidth,  all sampling data can be received from FIFO buffer.is my explanation correct? Additionally, what are the units of the BDR_XL value? is 2666.7hz unit?

Can I ask you about the VL53L8 series. Can the VL53L8 series use multiple at the same level at the same time, the number is greater than 4, will the middle affect each other, I may need to go through several 8*8 to form a larger depth map? Is the distance measurement in the TOF depth map obtained by this sensor in the middle of each small matrix?

Hello .According to the reference manual, the default RDP level is set to level 1. However, after performing a full erase with ST-Link and then writing the hex file, the RDP level was found to be set to 0.I would like to set the RDP level to 1 at the stage of writing the hex file with ST-Link without using software to control the registers. Could you please tell me how to do this?Best regards,  aki

HiI would like to debug STM32F303RDT6 using a combination of Keil and ULINK2.When I start debugging on the target microcontroller (STM32F303RDT6), **Not a genuine ST Device! Hi,I have created two tasks. Task A and Task B. Task A has higher priority. Task receives data through UART and enques this data into queue. Then, Task A is blocked for 1 second. Task B comes into picture and dequeues the data from queue. I send 8 bytes of data, I can see that Task A writes to buff array when I send message through via serial terminal on UART.I send buff array to the queue, then I enqueue the data from queue and write it into buff2 array. When I read the buff2 array I only see the first byte of buff array. Please see below serial terminal output.    /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2024 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE f

Dear community members,Because I am using the stm32 Nucleo board with st32cubemx and stm32cubeprogrammer, how can I get the library and set all the parameters of the AEK-COM-ISOSPI1 so that it can communicate with the AEK-POW-BMS63EN. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks,TH.

The installation guide UM2563 hasn't been updated since 2022. Information about supported/tested Linux versions needs refresh. Also, in the release notes, if new Linux versions are validated, please add this information, it would be helpful.Regards,-- pa

Dear all,I want to set LIS2DUX12TR to detect if there is a motion of the board, like a theft detector. The board is battery powered, so, I was thought to use INT1 pin to wake my PIC18LF26K22 uC to send some data. For me, is for time when I interact with an accelerometer sensor, so, please be kind with me.I read the datasheet, and I found I must enable some function in registers (like bits in EMB_FUNC_EN_A, route interrupt to INT1 pin, send to sleep, etc)  but, I'm not sure which one.I wonder if there is a software, something to visually  configure register and at the final give me an output with modified register and just put the new values on LIS2DUX12TR, or , maybe, someone cold  indicate me what should I do.Thank you in advance for your time.Best regards LE: I don't have any special board, just the board with my uC and LIS2DUX12TR, so, I cannot use MEMS Studio (or I don't know how to use it offline)

Hi, I am a beginner STM32 user. I am exploring the STMCube ecosystem and some simple functions my MCU can do. However, I stuck on generating PWM signal (I simply dont get any signal on the pin, tried few different pins), which based on some youtube STMCube tutorials should be really easy. My hardware and clock setups are verified earlier, so the only thing wrong or incomplete is STMCube PWM configuration:The code: #include "main.h" TIM_HandleTypeDef htim9; void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); static void MX_TIM9_Init(void); int main(void) { HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_TIM9_Init(); HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim9, TIM_CHANNEL_2); while (1) { } } void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE3); RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_

ST VP Configuration - ST-Link - USB - SWIM - STM8S103F3I have connected the "SWIM" and "GND" pins of 'ST-LINK V2' to the development PCB includes "STM8S103F3", the supply from the mobile charger is connected through the USB port of the PCB.When I select 'Read all tabs', the message is shown as "Can't communicate with the device".Then I turned the power off and on by pressing the reset button low. When I tried to read the device, the message showed as "Device is protected".The LED is flashing in every condition. Each time the dongle LED glows initially, then flashes and then turns off.what is wrong? how to solve?

I'm having trouble uploading to or even properly recognising the STM32U585CIU6 (brand new chip from Mouser) this chip properly in the STM32CubeProgrammer 2.4.0 and hoping someone can help.I'm connecting UART via a generic FTDI, that is known to work fine connected to a STM32F411CEU6 for example.It sort of connects, see below:12:09:58 : STM32CubeProgrammer API v2.4.012:10:04 : Serial Port COM9 is successfully opened.12:10:04 : Port configuration: parity = even, baudrate = 115200, data-bit = 8, stop-bit = 1.0, flow-control = off12:10:04 : Activating device: OK12:10:04 : Chip ID: 0x482 12:10:04 : BootLoader protocol version: 3.112:10:04 : Response received from device: NACK12:10:05 : Error: Address not acknowledged: 0xFFFF12:10:06 : UPLOADING OPTION BYTES DATA ...12:10:06 : Bank : 0x0012:10:06 : Address : 0x4002204012:10:06 : Size : 48 Bytes12:10:07 : UPLOADING ...12:10:07 : Size : 1024 Bytes12:10:07 : Address : 0x800000012:10:07 : Read progress:12:10:08 : Data read successfully12:10

Hello ST Community,I'm currently facing a challenging issue with my STM32L476RET6 where I'm unable to erase a specific page in the flash memory. Despite the HAL_FLASHEx_Erase() function returning HAL_OK, indicating the erase operation was supposedly successful, the bytes at the specified memory location are not set to 0xFF as expected. I've confirmed this by checking the memory location with STM32CubeProgrammer.Environment:MCU: STM32L476RET6IDE: STM32CubeIDEOS: Windows 10 Here's the function where I'm encountering the issue: HAL_StatusTypeDef set_update_flag(void) { // Unlock the Flash to enable the flash control register access HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); if (status != HAL_OK) { // Unlock failed, handle accordingly return status; } // Define the page and bank for the erase operation FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef EraseInitStruct; uint32_t PageError = 0; EraseInitStruct.TypeErase = FLASH_TYPEERASE_PAGES; EraseInitStruct.Banks = FLASH_BANK_1; EraseInitS

I have the X-Nucleo-IHM07M1 siting on top of NUCLEO-F302R8 as shown attached. Trying to connect as follow? It is possible to connect 24V onto this board to drive 24V 3 phase motor?

I am using the Stm32H747I-DISCO board for the x-cube-ai application, working with the FP-AI-VISION1 package. I already updated the package that suits the board version and read the user manual UM2611, according to the instructions I ran the code and turned the board on, but while trying to select one operating mode with the inbuilt joystick it is not working all the time. I thought there might be a delay in processing after waiting for a few minutes I noticed no change in the screen. Help me to figure out.
