hello sir       I am using the fast transmission mode of the nfc chip ST25DV04KC to transmit picture data. The NFC chip is used with the MCU of  STM32G071G8U6. When I write the 25KB picture data through the mobile APP into the NFC cache, I find that the entire writing time takes about 11 seconds. Please tell me know, Is the transmission and writing time normal? If not, what is the error? If normal, is there any other chip or solution that can replace it? I need to control the entire time within 4 secondsThank you.

Hello everyones, what are the red marked devices in smd format, diodes maybe? They are grey and yellow. There are no label on them.

Hello all,I have a question about additional MPU protection provided by enabling SFU_MPU_PROTECT_ENABLE.What are the main benefits of that? How much "protection value" do we miss if it's disabled?

Hello all,I got a stm32f401vgt6 demo board from aliexpress and I created a project on stm32cubeide.  I wrote a simple problem " A = A +1" and downloaded via SWD communication.  All went well with download verified successfully message shown. The program halted just right after the download. In debugging, I got a message saying "Break at address "0x0" with no debug information available, or outside of program code."  I did the same thing on other boards such as F401x, F411x, F103x..etc., none of them has this issue.  This is the only stm32407vgt6 board did that.  Can someone point out what I needed to get this resolve.  I am very appreciated.

Hi, could someone explain me what is the difference between wake up and alert in RTC?For example the UM1749 provides information about RTC Alarm functions (section 39.2.8) and wake-up functions (section 40.2.2)When should I use the wake-up and when the alert?

I am currently developing with the STM32G474 series, and there is a bug in the TIMER A setting of HRTIM.To make OUTPUT1 and 2 differential outputs with dead time, enable SWAP OUTPUT.If you set OUTPUT1's Source , Reset Source setting, cannot set the source and reset source of OUTPUT2.However, Timer A cannot set the Set Source and Reset Source of OUTPUT2,and the other Timer B, C, D, E, and F can set the Reset Source. In fact, the reset source for OUTPUT2 must be set for the outputs to function properly. Please fix so that the reset source of OUTPUT2 of Timer A can be set.

hello，I want to download software from ST Website ,but there is not button to supply. when i didn't log in, there was a "get software",but after i logged in, it disappeared.thank you.

Where can I find the SVD file for the stm32wba52? Sincerely,Dana

I've been using LVGL for a while and I must say, their implementation (much based on CSS styles) is good to make responsive designs that scale based on screen size. Their concept is very simple, every object have a flex property that can be enabled. Objects put inside flex containers, for example, are automatically arranged inside the container in rows or columns. If the container size change, the objects are rearranged. There is also the grid option. This make possible the implementation of responsive designs very easily. So far, so good. But there is a problem: LVGL dropped their support for DMA2D acceleration on their latest major version. They expect to have some kind of official partnership with ST for bringing this feature back. I'm totally against this kind of behavior on a project that take benefit from community sent code. It's a total bummer! It's been a while since I have used TouchGFX for the last time. Some of my projects makes use of displays of different resolutions. Is t

Hi I'm new in working with CAN-bus. My project involves two stm32 boards (both are nucleo-l433rc-p) and I want to get CAN-bus communication between them. The code is supposed to make a build in LED blink each time the blue button on the main nucleo board is pressed (although I would be happy to get any CAN communication at all). Relevant code: Main: Relevant code secondary: Hardware:

Hi all, I was wondering is there was a function pack or GitHub repo anyone has found which indicates how to implement CDC USB communication from the SensorTile.box PRO to a PC in STM32CubeIDE? Thank you in advance.

Dear all,I'm attempting to use fast transfer mode with a ST25RDV04K type 5 tag and the STEVAL board for 3916B. I know this theoretically works because I have some Java code that is able to do it successfully, but I'm porting the code and I keep running into this issue and I can't see wht.I've enabled mailbox mode;I've send the mailbox message;I'm trying to check the mailbox control register to see if the remote device has posted a response. I'm using the iso15693TxRxNBytes() call with the Fast Read Dynamic Configuration command, register 0D (Mailbox Control Dynamic). This operation appears to not receive any data and results in the FramingError error code.I would appreciate any suggestions. Here's my diagnostic log:NFC|INFO | | Waiting for beacon... I'm new to ST25R2916B programming and the RFAL NFC library. I'm currently writing board bring-up firmware and would like to know the correct way of updating the AAT A/B values in both the CHIP_INIT and POLL_COMMON modes of the Analog Config table while keeping all the other parameters in their default values. I currently read the AAT A/B values from Flash and would like to load it in the Analog config table on start-up.Questions:I don't quite understand how to use the rfalAnalogConfigListWrite() API - is this the right API to use? For example, if I want to update the AAT A/B values in CHIP_INIT, can I pass just the new AAT A/B reg-mask-value or pass the entire list of 20 reg-mask-values found in CHIP_INIT? How do I set the Config ID for CHIP_INIT and POLL_COMMON? I looked in the config ID defines in rfal_analogConfigTbl.h and didn't find anything for these two modes.Do I need to call the rfalSetAnalogConfig() function after I change the AAT A/B values?Since I'm just doing boa

Hello, I am confused in selecting the development board for the microcontroller STM32U585OIY because there are multiple series of it. I am working on a project which uses this name in their schematic STM32U585OIY and I wanted to buy a development board for the same. Can you please advise me which on I need to buy?

Hello!I am using STM32 Cube Programmer API to flash a device with ST-LINK. I am using ST-LINK example 1. When I use connectStLink(debugParameters) it returns the value '-545'. Doxygen comments say that if it returns 0 the connection was successful, otherwise an error occurred. I can't find any more documentation about it. Surely the value '-545' indicates to some specific error. After using the getStLinkList() function, the debugConnectParameters look okay, so it means it gets a connection with the device.I can flash (debug) the device through VS Code (using the official STM32 VS Code Extension) and through the STM32CubeProgrammer app with no problems. During one runtime, after a couple of unsuccessful tries it actually flashed the device for a few times and then stopped working again (returnind -545). I haven't made any changes to the code or the connections.I am using mikroProg for STM32 with the ST-LINK V2 adapter. I tried different USB ports with no luck. There isn't much informatio

What exactly is meant by "If Boot from FLASH"?

Hi Community,I have a bitfield arrangement for one of the driver files which is a 32-bit value. While debugging I was not able to figure out how it is being stored in the register. The bit order and endianness are not always guaranteed in structs and bit fields but I want to have a fair knowledge on how it is being stored.Bit field arrangement typedef union { uint32_t value; struct { uint8_t data_1 : 4; uint8_t data_2 : 3; uint8_t data_3 : 4; uint8_t data_4 : 2; uint8_t data_5 : 1; uint8_t data_6 : 1; uint8_t data_7 : 2; const uint8_t data_8 : 3; } field; } reg_t; If I assign a value to fields of data like below the expected 32-bit value data.field.value is 0x88372. reg_t data = {.field.data_8 = 4}; data.field.data_1 = 2; data.field.data_2 = 7; data.field.data_3 = 6; data.field.data_7 = 1; But I am getting 0x110672 why?

I'm trying to use the SD-Card on the STM32H7B3I-DK with FatFS, but the transfers from the card do not work if the D-Cache is enabled. There are a number of other posts that report similar with this one looking most similar (and has a solution).I have enabled cache management and the scratch buffer:#define ENABLE_SD_DMA_CACHE_MAINTENANCE 1#define ENABLE_SCRATCH_BUFFERHowever, the card still does not work if I enable the D-Cache.What else do I need to look at?

CMSIS need to be updated to the new version. The version 6 changes some register name in header file.(Drivers\CMSIS\Core\Include\core_cm4.h  etc.)Tested on MCU package F3 v1.11.4 and G0 v1.6.2. Guessing all MCU package using CMSIS v5.0.3.

Hello, I am trying to create a simple frequency measuring device using 1 optical encoder and NUCLEO-F401RE board. I want to capture frequency (or period) of impulse, so I was thinking to use input capture mode and capture rising edge of impulses and see Counter value. I don't want to use interrupts or any other method to reset Counter. Ideally, it should be done on hardware and when I need, frequency could be retrieved and read. How I imagine this should works is liek this: Counter starts counting after start function somewhere on main, after impulse positive edge comes it saves the value and resets counter, when next impulse comes, it overwrites the value and again resets the counter. At any time I can  read  saved value and get current frequency. Is this possible to do without any interruptions in program?

I'm wondering with implementation of CMake into stm cube.I tried default project executable and it works for C and I'm able to debug it.But if I change it to C++ I'm unable to debug it. Program always jumps to this line:Infinite_Loop:b Infinite_Loop.size Default_Handler, .-Default_HandlerAt first I separate the sources and asm file byset (PROJECT_ASM_SOURCES# LIST SOURCE FILES HEREStartup/startup_stm32h745zitx.s)set (PROJECT_SOURCES# LIST SOURCE FILES HERESources/main.cSources/syscalls.cSources/sysmem.c)then I set c files to c++ by:set_source_files_properties(${PROJECT_SOURCES} PROPERTIES LANGUAGE CXX)and added these file to executable:add_executable(${PROJECT_NAME} ${PROJECT_SOURCES} ${PROJECT_ASM_SOURCES})I used NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q board. I tried several compiler settings, linker, rename files to cpp, but with no success.

Hello AllI tried searching all over. Is there a  STM32  API for Delphi program developers. The idea is that I am Delphi programmer who would like to design custom programs to read/write to STM32F4 development boards. STM32Cube IDE is fine for running the programs on the board. I need to design a custom GUI which will run on my PC so that I could interface with the boards through the USB. I could then read the status of any sensor etc attached to the boards and manipulate the data accordingly. Any know of such an API?

I'm having issues with the "busVoltageDivider" property in the "VBusSensing" feature. The Wiki says that the "VBusSensing" feature doesn't define any global propery, however the Board Manager is complaining that the property is missing when I don't add it.Furthermore, how is this and the "busVoltageDivider" property inside the "VBusSensing" hardware type (I'm assuming they're identical) calculated? The other properties "busVoltageDividerR1" and "busVoltageDividerR2" are obvious.

Hi all,I am using STM32F769I DISCO Board, STM32 CUBEIDE,X-CUBE-SBSFU 2.6.2 , WINDOWS Environment for checking new features in security i.e. secure bootloader.I am newbie to this topic and I have followed compilation procedure as per the readme file, but I am getting file missing error in MDK-ARM IDE SE_CoreBin.s(19): error: A1270E: File "..\..\1_Image_SECoreBin\MDK-ARM\STM32F769I_Discovery_1_Image_SECoreBin\SECoreBin.bin" not foundand in CUBEIDE :"../prebuild.sh" "../"prepareimage with python scriptpython /prepareimage.py conf ..//../Inc/se_crypto_config.hpython: can't open file 'C:\\prepareimage.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directoryselected../prebuild.sh: line 54: can't create ..//Application/Startup/se_key.s: nonexistent directory../prebuild.sh: line 55: can't create ..//Application/Startup/se_key.s: nonexistent directory../prebuild.sh: line 56: can't create ..//Application/Startup/se_key.s: nonexistent directory../prebuild.sh: line 135: can't create ..//Application/Sta

Does anyone know what is causing this error and how to fix it in STMCubeIDE?  As shown, this is specific to STM32F107VCT as it may be that STM32F4 does not see this. Buildable code cannot be generated.Thanks!@Amel NASRI
