I have already spent hours trying to get the Arduino library working in my CubeIDE (1.12.0 IDE; latest STM32duino; Firmware F3 1.11.4). I set up all the include paths, and changed the arduino stuff, to point to the CubeIDE generated files. I had some issues, that the Serial was not declared, but this could be fixxed, when i changed my user_man file to *.cpp. But now it says " undefined reference to `setup' ".main.c:/* USER CODE END Header */ /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h"   /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */   #include "user_main.h"user_man.cpp:#include "user_main.h"   #include "stdio.h" #include "stm32f3xx_nucleo_32.h" #include <stdbool.h>   #include "arduino.h"   void setup(){    }   void loop(){ }user_main.h:extern void setup(); extern void loop();What has to be done in order to make it wor

Hello!! I'm a total newbie, so sorry for any mistakes, and I would like to ask for simple explanations as well.As title states, I would like to use a timer chosen from TIMx, not as an output on a pin, but rather for software only usage, to do an action periodically, instead of using a delay that would halt the rest of execution.I know which bus the timer is on, what is its frequency. I think I understand how to bring it down using prescaler and ARR. But from other settings in "Pinout & Configuration" tab- what should the channel be set as? Should anything else be changed from default in "Configuration"? Or in other tabs? And also, how should code look like? Which function (or maybe something else?) would be useful for such application?I am using CubeIDE version 1.10.1.

Hello everyone, can someone help me with LIS3DH Example and Library.any suggestion for library.Thank You

Hey folks,I'm having issues with the RTC's calendar function while using BLE. I would like to timestamp recorded data using the calendar function of the RTC and then transmit that data over Bluetooth. However, when I enable the Bluetooth middleware in Cube, it forces the ASYNC and SYNC prescalers of the RTC to predetermined values of 0xF and 0x7FFF, respectively. See image. Is it possible to use the calendar function while using BLE? If so, how? Thus far I found the following in app_conf.h (which is not very encouraging...) :#define CFG_RTCCLK_DIVIDER_CONF 0 #if (CFG_RTCCLK_DIVIDER_CONF == 0) /** * Custom configuration * It does not support 1Hz calendar * It divides the RTC CLK by 16 */ #define CFG_RTCCLK_DIV (16) #define CFG_RTC_WUCKSEL_DIVIDER (0) #define CFG_RTC_ASYNCH_PRESCALER (CFG_RTCCLK_DIV - 1) #define CFG_RTC_SYNCH_PRESCALER (0x7FFF)Is there a way to make the two work alongside each other?

i've installed versions of STM32CubeProgrammer on my windows 10 PC as well as my MAC....i'm following the instructions in um2269 (section 8) on updating firmware, but see a message saying "No DFU detected" under the USB configuration panel....  selecting Connect fails at that point....on windows, the device manager seems to identify a 'Power Shield (Virtual ComPort in FS Mode)' as well as a new 'USB Serial Device' when i plug in my board....  but there is a warning sign that ultmately tells me that windows can't find a driver....  drivers were definitely installed along with CubeProgrammer; and i've run some .bat file under the Drivers folder....do i need to do anything with my (brand new) board???  if i move the sliding jumper to the 'Syst' position *BEFORE* plugging in the board, it doesn't even power up....

Hello,I have set the BR bit in CR1 to 0 with the expectation of obtaining an 8MHz clock frequency. However, I am encountering an actual frequency of approximately 1.042MHz. Does anyone have an explanation for this issue, or should I consider implementing any calibration procedure for the clock? Best regards,

Using STM32CubeIDE (v1.14.0) with STM32F042F6P7 (TSSOP 20) to configure CAN pins on custom board. However the CAN peripheral is grayed-out when I open the IOC file in STM32CubeIDE. For pin assignments, PB8 is available for CAN rx but CAN tx is not show for any other pin. How do I access alternate pins for the CAN peripheral? Reference manual says PA12 should be available as alternate for CAN tx; and PA11 should be available as alternate for CAN rx.

dear ST / reader, our application uses the STM32H743. We need a unique serial number to be stored in this micro, in non-volatile memory, to uniquely identify each board. There’s no on-board EEPROM, so we were wondering if this device includes any internal unique number of its own that can be accessed and which could then be used for this purpose when we found the following …The “Unique device ID register (96 bits)? which is “unique for any device and in any context?. Does this mean the value will be different in each and every STM32H743, or all STM32H743s have the same number ?What is the procedure to read this value, please ?

Hey, I'm following the Distribution Package tutorial, specifically the QT image and SDK with EGLFS tutorial: wiki  I did build the Qt image with     bitbake st-example-image-qt     but building the SDK with     bitbake st-example-image-qt -c populate_SDL     gets me the following error:     ERROR: nativesdk-cmsis-svd-0.4+gitAUTOINC+f487b5ca7c-r0 do_fetch: Fetcher failure: Unable to find revision f487b5ca7c132b8f09d11514c509372f83a6cb75 in branch master even from upstream ERROR: nativesdk-cmsis-svd-0.4+gitAUTOINC+f487b5ca7c-r0 do_fetch: Bitbake Fetcher Error: FetchError('Unable to fetch URL from any source.', 'git://github.com/posborne/cmsis-svd.git;protocol=https;branch=master') ERROR: Logfile of failure stored in: /home/alec/STM32MPU_workspace/Distribution-Package/build-openstlinuxeglfs-stm32mp1/tmp-glibc/work/x86_64-nativesdk-ostl_sdk-linux/nativesdk-cmsis-svd/0.4+gitAUTOINC+f487b5ca7c-r0/temp/log.do_fetch.3973 ERROR: Task (virtu

Hi,I have question for ST25R3916BI am only using the ST25R3916B chip on its own. I have successfully set up SPI communication for reading and writing. Now, I need to understand how I can read from ST25TV02K data.

I am working off of Custom Hardware using the ST25R95 and I can read tags but I am trying to keep the device into IDLE mode but can't get it to work.I have ran tag detect calibration without a tag in the field and came up with a result of 0x5C. (See attached Traces from boot)I used 0x5C as the base for IDLE mode and use the +/-0x08 to setup the thresholds.Using 0x5C, the device keeps telling me that there is a tag and starts to read a tag, goes into IDLE and repeats without a tag in the field. (See attached Traces from boot).Do you have any ideas why this will not stay in IDLE?

Hi,we are currently porting a custom dunfell distro from STM32MP151A to STM32MP151C.We followed the guides related to creating our own machine by generating the device tree in CubeMX and succeeded in building it correctly.https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/index.php/How_to_create_your_own_machineAttempting to flash the board crashes in writing the first partition related to the file "arm-trusted-firmware/tf-a-stm32mp151c-my-project-mx-usb.stm32". What could be the cause?Attached my conf/machine/<machine>.conf file (extended extension to .txt for uploading)I would like to thank you for any help.

Hello,I'm trying to use DMA with an Usart to receive incoming data in a circular buffer. Basically this is my code for configuration using UART5. I can send data, so i assume, that port und clock configuration is correct. When receiving data, NDTR is couting down but there is no data copied into the buffer M0AR. Uart5 uses DMA1 Stream0, Channel 4. FIFOs are not used.When i switch to polling receiving without dma, everything works. What can be the issue?  dma = DMA1_Stream0; dma->CR &= ~DMA_SxCR_EN; dma->CR |= 4 << DMA_SxCR_CHSEL_Pos; dma->PAR = (uint32_t)&oConfig.oUSART->DR; dma->M0AR = (uint32_t)&buf_rx[0]; dma->NDTR = BUFFER_SIZE; dma->CR |= DMA_SxCR_PL_1; dma->CR |= DMA_SxCR_PL_0; dma->CR |= DMA_SxCR_MINC; dma->CR |= DMA_SxCR_CIRC; dma->CR |= DMA_SxCR_EN; oConfig.oUSART->CR1 &= ~USART_CR1_UE; oConfig.oUSART->CR3 |= USART_CR3_DMAR; oConfig.oUSART->CR1 = USART_CR1_TE | USART_CR1_RE; oConfig.oUSART-&

I would like to know if the M24LR 64 ER memory using NFC already has support for IOsxx. I am trying to read and write data to this memory but without success, I receive errors 100 and 103.

Hi ,I am new to use STM32Cube IDE.I am using the STM32Cube IDE for developing the applcation related to STM32H750B-DK Board with STM32H750XBH6 MCU.When I am trying to debug my application through STlink-V3 .I am not able to debug the application .For you reference I posting the snapshot .please have a look and response ASAP.

The datasheet suggest its suitable for SMPS / lighting power supplies. Not clear if they can be used for the inductive load at the output of the hotswap controller.

I want to flash and debug using SPC5-UDESTK 5.02.04 on to the board SPC5746CBMKU6. This controller configuration is not given in the tool. So I have created new configuration for this board. Now I have tried to connect to target board. But it is failing to establish connection. Connection and power supply is good(Tool LED glows). May be problem with target configuration. Attaching failed report and new target configuration file(in .txt, as .cfg is not supported here). Kindly provide the target configuration file for SPC5746CBMKU6, if you have. Or suggest edits in current file.

Hi developers,   I'm new to STM32 MCU, but recently need to use it for a automotive Ethernet board design. The ethernet PHY I am going to use supports the jumbo frame up to 16kByte. Do anyone happen to know if STM32F407VGT6 can also support this jumbo frame feature or only for standard 1518Byte eth frame?   (if not, ss there any MCU from ST suggestion that support this jumbo frame feature.    Thanks!!!

Hi,While using the STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.1.1 repository to explore secure boot on the STM32H5, I saw that the configuration file to generate OEMiRoT_Data.obk is missing. As I want to use my own keys and certificates for the OEMiRoT example application, I think I should regenerate the OEMiRoT_Data.obk file, but I can't find how to do this.Am i missing something, or is the OEMiRoT_Data.xml file missing from the repository?Best,Jens

I'm trying to read and write SPI bytes from an STM32F446RE chip with DMA.  The STM32f4 is the slave and a RPi is the master.  The first SPI read works fine (data read into buffer starting at index 0), but subsequent reads have the data starting at index 1 instead of index 0.  I tried resetting the SPI peripheral with this bit of code I found on the forums: #define RESETSPI {\ HAL_SPI_Abort(&hspi2);\ __HAL_RCC_SPI2_FORCE_RESET();\ __HAL_RCC_SPI2_RELEASE_RESET();\ }  This fixes the reading off by 1, but it results in the last byte sent back to the PI to be wrong. Does anyone know what might be happening or how I might address it?

Hi!I use the RTC of a STM32G030K6T. It is clocked by LSI (appr. 32kHz). And PREDIV_A is 0x0 and PREDIV_S is 0x7FFF. So I expect that RTC_SSR overflows every 1.024sec...But: It overflows every 0.687sec... As if the LSI frequency would be 47712Hz...I mentioned this after I soldered the positive contact of a LiFePO4 battery... Now I cannot easily disconnect power... Triggering the reset pin does not change the fast RTC... A software reset does not help, too...How could I possibly damage the LSI by making a solder joint at the other side of the board? I even have a voltage clamp at 3.5V and a LDO (3.0V) between that solder joint and the STM32G030.Or is it more likely that I made some last minute firmware changes? What could that be?Thx.Bye.

Hello Community, I have been working in an app that has 2 different lenguages defined in the "Texts" option in TouchGFX. In the Canvans i have for example a textArea that is configured as "Auto-size" with typography "Large, 40px" and centered alignment, this text is in english "Select a Cycle" and in spanish is "Seleccione un Ciclo". As there is the option to "Auto-size" the textbox, is there an option or a way to use instead an auto typography to adjust to the textbox? saying that both my text fit in the same TextBox, one with "Large, 40px" and the other with "Default, 25px". Hope to hear from you soon :) Greetings!

Hii! I'm trying to implement a tensorflow ML model in NUCLEOF401RE Board using XCube.AI and stm32CubeMX. when i download the XCube.AI package and try to add the zipper file in CubeMX im facing an error that "file cannot be deflated". how to solve this error. The zipper file is installed in proper location ""C:\Users\Lakshana\STM32Cube\Repository\Packs\STMicroelectronics\X-CUBE-AI\8.1.0\stm32ai-windows-8.1.0.zip" please help me resolve this error

Hi I m using SPI DMA on H7 series, and notice under SPIx_TX and SPIx_RX there are at least 14 DMA channels to choose from, i.e DMA1 Stream 0-7 and DMA2 0-7. Can i select these "channel"  randomly or is there a reference manual that state otherwise? Likewise i saw the same case in USART DMA too, anyone can advise?

Hello!I'm using the STM32WL55CCU6 in a design and have a question:TCXO: I'm using a TCXO connected according to the datasheet. If I select TCXO in CubeIDE I have to use PB01 as TCXO-VDD. My plan was to use PB01 as GPIO. Is that possible? How? -> If i change the Pin to GPIO, it deselects the TCXO in the clock config.(TCXO is connected to the on-board-power-supply) best regardsRobert
