Developing on an STM32H563ZI chip with Cube IDE and ST-Link V2.  DEBUG is configured as JTAG with Trace Syncro (4 bits), which is 4-wire JTAG (JTMS, JTCK, JTDI, and JTDO).  My project has allocated pin PB4(NJTRST) as a GPIO.  If left unconfigured, debugging is possible.  If configured as an output, the debugger loses its connection to the core with the execution of the line of code that configures the pin as an output.Why does this happen, when I'm using 4-wire JTAG?  The NJTRST line doesn't even go to the JTAG header, so it's not like the ST-Link is "secretly" using that wire.Is there maybe some option bit I need to set to make the chip happy in debug mode with NJTRST configured as a general-purpose output?

Hi there!the lastest update of  CubeMX 6.11.0 invalidates rhe ADC settings for ADC3.ChannelTS=ADC_CHANNEL_TEMPSENSORADC3.ChannelVBAT=ADC_CHANNEL_VBATADC3.ChannelVREF=ADC_CHANNEL_VREFINTpre-updateMxCube.Version=6.10.0MxDb.Version=DB.6.0.100ProjectManager.FirmwarePackage=STM32Cube FW_H7 V1.11.1update toMxCube.Version=6.11.0MxDb.Version=DB.6.0.110ProjectManager.FirmwarePackage=STM32Cube FW_H7 V1.11.2 Cheers!

Ops!!!  The latest firmware does support internal channel selection on ADC3.I verified that the previous firmware V1.11.1 gives visibility to the ADC3 internal channels for VBat, Temperature, and RBUF.  But if the firmware is migrated to V1.11.2 those selections disappear.Screen shot from V1.11.2: After migration.Before migration (V1.11.1): I have also verified that starting a new project from scratch using any STM32H743 automatically applies V1.11.2 to start and once this happens, the internal channels are no longer available if if you change the firmware back to V1.11.1.

HiAs i can see your eSIMs come with Truphone preinstalled, so i wonder if its possible to use differrent provider.And if it is, how can you do so on examle of B-L462CELL1

Hi guys,I'm trying to use STM32 as a host for a HID keyboard and mouse.I have 2 wireless mouses to test (Logitech M560, HP Spectre 700), Logitech T-BC21 wired trackball, some low-end keyboard. I'm connecting them via micro-USB to USB converter that works properly with my old tablet.LED near USB port on NUCLEO lights up, looks like it enumerates my all test devices (function returns OK), but I'm always getting stuck in USBH_HID_POLL state and I never get this condition true (after pressing keys, moving or clicking mouses):  // usbh_hid.c USBH_HID_Process(...) function if (USBH_LL_GetURBState(phost, HID_Handle->InPipe) == USBH_URB_DONE)  I'm following this tutorial from ControllersTech, that basically just uses generated code, except that I'm using FreeRTOS. USB interrupt is enabled (can't be turned off in code generator).I'm powering NUCLEO from my PC USB port (programming/debugging). I have not tried to power the board from external 5V supply, but I don

Posted on February 09, 2017 at 02:08I've got a custom board with a STM32F103 that connects to a micro SD card using 1 bit SDIO. I've generated some basic test code using STM32CubeMx Rev 4.19.0 and STM32CubeF1 release 1.4.0 (both the latest according to the software & ST website). All it does it try to write a test file to the SD card.I've got a scope on the SDIO_CMD, SDIO_CK and SDIO_D0 lines to see what is happening - and the answer is 'not enough'!I can see the CMD0 command being clocked out - checksum matches the SDIO specs - at 162kHz. But the card doesn't respond. I then see the CMD8 command clocked out, again no response. And then I see CMD55 clocked out with no response. At this point stm32f1xx_hal_sd.c gives up in the SD_PowerON() function because it needed a response to that one (it doesn't seem to care too much about the rest).I have no idea why the card doesn't respond. I've double/triple checked the pinout on the socket is correct and the card pins are c

What is the procedure to flush Tx and Rx FIFOs when using SPI DMA in STM32H563ZI?

Hi, I have a suctom board with st25dv schip and i want to use EH for powering it. By default, EH_MODE is ON_DEMAND and I want to change it to ST25DV_EH_ACTIVE_AFTER_BOOT like as at on the devkit, but after writing using SMARTAG1_NFCTAG_WriteEHMode(SMARTAG1_NFCTAG_INSTANCE, ST25DV_EH_ACTIVE_AFTER_BOOT) command the value of the register doesn't changed. Datasheet says that I must use security mode for writing static config register, but how can I enter to this mode?Thanks

Hi Team,Can I use 2 ADCs of same channel configured in same ADC PIN PA3 pin where ADC-1 is at 1KHz trigger timer in timer1 and ADC-2 at 2KHz trigger timer in timer3.

Can anybody suggest a pin compatible ST micro that has more Flash and RAM than the STM32F215ZG - this has 1MB Flash and 256Kb of RAM. I have to maintain large data structures and I keep running out of space.

Hello:I am using the ST25 Dynamic NFC for energy harvesting applications in its batterless mode. I think there is a power management unit in the circuit but without energy storage such as a capacitor, is that right? If so, I need to add an external capacitor for this purpose. Could you help to explain how to choose the capacitor for energy storage and discharging for application?Looking forward to hearing from you.Kind regardsFengzhou

What code works for the STM32L412 device?I want to load an RTC calibration value into flash memory and retrieve it on subsequent running of the firmware. I've got the reading of specific calibration values working in a different IC, for ADC calibration, ICTempCal1 = (*((volatile uint16_t*)(0x1FF8007A))); Will this work with the L412 IC? But I cannot get programming of a page to work. I tried 'HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_DOUBLEWORD, 0x080E0000,1000);'But that fails within the routine. I'm assuming the Erase routine worked, but I haven't got far enough to check. I tried the 'STM32CubeL4/Projects/NUCLEO-L4P5ZG/Examples/FLASH/FLASH_FastProgram' code and found it to fail in the last section, the GetBank routine.Different IC also. Can anyone give me the code for these operations?

Hi, I am Murali Selvam from India, I have a doubt, Can we interface the external Micro-SD card through below given MCU, You have any reference schematic kindly give me. Thank you. STM32G0B1KBU6,STM32G0B1KET6

I'm currently using the stm32f407g-disc1 and reading an audio input through PMOD I2S2. I've carried out some examples and the hardware is working fine (writing data from the rx to the tx buffer) such as the code below. ```for (int i=0; i<BUFFER_LENGTH*4; i=i+4) {txBuf[i] = rxBuf[i];txBuf[i+1] = rxBuf[i+1];txBuf[i+2] = 0;txBuf[i+3] = 0;}``` I now wish to perform the FFT on this incoming buffer, manipulate it (my first aim is to implement a pitch shifting algorithm) and perform the IFFT again. Thus I've tried the following: ```for (int i=0; i<BUFFER_LENGTH*4; i=i+4) {fft_in_buf[fft_in_ptr] = (float) ((int) (rxBuf[i]<<16)|rxBuf[i+1]);fft_in_ptr++;} arm_rfft_fast_f32(&fft_handler, fft_in_buf, fft_out_buf, 0);arm_rfft_fast_f32(&fft_handler, fft_out_buf, fft_in_buf, 1); fft_in_ptr = 0; for (int i=0; i<BUFFER_LENGTH*4; i=i+4) {        txBuf[i] = (fft_in_buf[fft_in_ptr] >> 16) & 0xFF; // MSB

Hi team,I am trying to implement FreeRTOS on nucleo32 board (stm32f303k8) on building the same with the one FreeRTOS task, I am getting a error that RAM overflowed by 66456 bytes.It can be resolved or I need to go with some other high memory boards?

Hello, I am using STM32U585 TFM architecture for one of my project. Which basically is a combined project of 5 internal projects as usual TFM(mentioned below).1. TFM_Appli_NonSecure2. TFM_Appli_Secure3. TFM_Loader_NonSecure4. TFM_Loader_Secure5. TFM_SBSFU_Boot I have surpassed available RAM(SRAM1 of 192kb) for TFM_Appli_NonSecure project. And I am not getting any solution to this even after trying some ways like using SRAM3(mainly).I think now I need some export opinion for increasing this availablity by minimum of 50kbAny support any support will be appreciated. Thanks,Nitin

Hi all,   I used the same setting and the same software, keil uVision5. The only different is use my own board rather than EVB, STM32F769I-EVAL. BTW, I use my own board and STM32 ST-Link utility. Sometimes I can successfully go to debug mode, but sometimes I can't.   My question is why keil uVision5 shows 'Error: Flash Download failed - ''Cortex-M7'''.   I had erased first then rebuild finished, the next step is starting debug session. Unlucky, it shows error.   May need your support on this issue, thank you.

We are developing a BLE device based on a STM32WB5MM. The device acts as a server and has configured the connection with bonding (and a passkey).We have a problem connecting to the device when several devices of the same type coexist in the same place (about 3/4 devices in an area of 5 meters radius). It is difficult to start the connection, in the order of minutes (sometimes it is not even possible to start the connection). However, once the connection is established (because we move away from the area) it remains stable (even if we return to the area with more devices).Any idea why this might be? All devices have the same name. This is the only thing that comes to mind. Can this cause a problem at the time of authentication (bonding)? We have noticed that if a mobile device (which is our client) has a paired device, it cannot connect/pair to another one until the information of the previous device has been deleted on the mobile. If so, just modifying the name of the advertising is en

I woulke to know the dead time of VL53L8CH to know the max value of one bin, but there is no information in the datasheet. Besides, currently I am using  the example in VL53LMZ_MassMarket_ULD of cubeide to get the histogram, I want to know if the number of the bin represent the number of the photons or does it need to multiply with some special scale value?

I tried using the sleep mode in STM32L053R8, it gets stuck in this condition. what is the reason. if((ulpbit != 0) && (vrefinbit != 0)){SET_BIT(PWR->CR, PWR_CR_ULP);}

I have designed a custom board based on a STM32WB35CE and want to use TouchGFX with it.I have enabled the TouchGFX Middleware in STM32CubeMX:and used the resulting ApplicationTemplate.touchgfx.part file to create a blank user interface with TouchGFX Designer and generated code.When building the code the linker throws the following error message:C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.13.1/STM32CubeIDE/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.12.3.rel1.win32_1.0.100.202403111256/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/12.3.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: cannot find -l:libtouchgfx-float-abi-hard.a: No such file or directoryThis "path" is added to the project's library paths when generating code with TouchGFX Designer. Hello, I am a beginner in STM32 and Touchgfx. I am having a touchgfx application which has multiple screens. The main screen in touchgfx should update the live data received from Uart Rx. When a button in main screen is clicked, it should navigate to other screens. I am using an interrupt callback to receive the Uart data. The problem I am facing right now is, the Uart Rx is working fine through interrupt callback, and the data is being updated in mainscreen. But when the button is clicked, nothing happens. I suspect it's due to interrupt is being serviced often. Unfortunately my Uart DMA receive doesn't work and I am able to receive data only through interrupt callback. Can someone Hed some light on my issue?   Thanks and Regards

Hello, I have a custom borad with a STM32F746BGTX and I use GFX Touch 4.20. I would like to have a bootloader and an application on the STM32F746BGTX. I have different images in gfx Touch for the bootloader and the application. The bootloader is stored in flash memory: 0x0800 0000 - 0x0803 FFFF The application is saved in flash memory: 0x0804 0000 - 0x080F FFFF I use an external Quad SPI Flash Memory (W25Q128FVSQ). I divided the RAM into 2 areas again. The bootloader gets 3MBytes (from 0x90000000 to 0x902EE000) The application gets 13MByte (from 0x902EE000 to 0x90FFFFFF). I want to jump from the bootloader into the application. The process: 1. Jump from Boorloader into the application. A value is written into RAM. 2. The function is called: NVIC_SystemReset() 3. In Main() I check whether a value is stored in RAM. If there is a value in the RAM, I jump into my application This process works perfectly and the application is also started. An error then occurs in HAL_Init(). In debug
