Hi Team,We use stm32f303Rbt6 microcontroller. I need a output for Input capture, I am using two timers. I generate pulse for Tim1(1khz) and I set for Tim2 for input capture mode(input capture direct mode). TIM1 generate the pulse for continuously(1khz). But TIM2 set the mode for frequency capture in rising edge only. But we did not get the output and I enable the global interrupt for TIM2. But HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureCallback function does not woring my code. So we did not get the output for Frequency. So I'm already try this method to develop my code. I attach my code and I made a mistake pls correct me.TIM1 and TIM2 Configuration Pictures.#include "main.h"#include "tim.h"#include "gpio.h" /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*//* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ /* USER CODE END Includes */ /* Private typedef -----------------------------------------------------------*//* USER CODE BEGIN PTD */ /* USER CODE END PTD */ /

I have a project that is created by Cube for the Keil compiler. The MCU is the STM32L486VG family. The default optimization level in that project is set to -O3 but I'd like it to be -O0.I cannot see where the default value gets set. I am assuming that it is in Cube as it reverts to O3 whenever I regenerate the project. Can anybody enlighten me please ??.Thanks,Andy

Hello.I'm currently trying to download the X-LINUX-AI package for MPU ecosystem v5.0.0.I tried on MP135F-DK & MP157F-DK2, but neither showed a valid installation and both were stuck when executing "apt-get update".For both boards, I used high-quality ethernet cables and checked the connections were okey by executing "ping www.baidu.com", which is the most well-known search engine in China. Both checks were okey, and I did not use a proxy. The following command line piece shows what was going wrong:stm32mp1:/var/cache/apt/archives# dpkg -i apt-openstlinux-ai_1.0_armhf.deb tar: ./control: time stamp 2023-07-07 06:18:19 is 10864980.266958629 s in the future tar: .: time stamp 2023-07-07 06:18:19 is 10864980.264826295 s in the future (Reading database ... 15654 files and directories currently installed.) hi, i am trying to connect USB keyboard with STM32F722ze nucleo board but nothing worked out .Not getting any output .Before a year  i have tested STM32f401ccu6 with USB keyboard and it's works fine .looks like software package issue .https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubemx-mcus/hid-keyboard-not-working-on-stm32f722ze-nucleo-f722ze-board/td-p/607188 any solution on this ? .

Hello,I'd kindly ask for some help on determining exactly which MCU pin is connected to STMod+ extension board.Which pins exactly are connected to STMod+ pins 2 and 3 ?It seems like two choices for both pins, but I'm not sure how to check/modify which comes to STMod+ connector?I guess from schematic that PI2 amd PB15 are connected to pins 2 NS 3, but that would mean that I don't have USART device on STMod+ connector ?Thanks in advance, regards.

I am working on firmware with stm32c011f4u6 mcu. When the program is operated, a timeout error occurs after falling into the infinite loop of the function below. HAL_StatusTypeDef RTC_EnterInitMode(RTC_HandleTypeDef *hrtc) { uint32_t tickstart; HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_OK; /* Check if the Initialization mode is set */ if ((hrtc->Instance->ICSR & RTC_ICSR_INITF) == 0U) { /* Set the Initialization mode */ SET_BIT(hrtc->Instance->ICSR, RTC_ICSR_INIT); tickstart = HAL_GetTick(); /* Wait till RTC is in INIT state and if Time out is reached exit */ while (((hrtc->Instance->ICSR & RTC_ICSR_INITF) == 0U) && (status != HAL_TIMEOUT)) { if ((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart) > RTC_TIMEOUT_VALUE) { /* New check to avoid false timeout detection in case of preemption */ if ((hrtc->Instance->ICSR & RTC_ICSR_INITF) == 0U) { status = HAL_TIMEOUT; /* Change RTC state */ hrtc->State = HAL_RTC_STATE_TIMEOUT; } else { bre

I use STM32F401RE nucleo board to detect tilt. I will use same MEMS sensor (ISM330DLC). Three. But I want to control that sensor in I2C1 Bus.  I know setting SA0 to distinguish SAD. it's only possible to two devices.  I need to control three devices. Help me! Thank you.

Hello,   I have a ST25R3916B project that is working fine, largely based around the demo_polling.c application. We use one '3916B and switch between different antennas. Each time we switch obviously the RF characteristics change a little, so I'd like to calibrate the antenna. I found the function st25r3916AatTune() but I don't see any example of how to call it and set the parameters.1. Is there an example application that shows how to do antenna tuning on the '3916B? If not, how do I do it?2. How do I know when this process is done so I can start scanning for tags?3. How can I see the result of the tuning? It would be good to know whether the tuning was 'bad' or 'good'.Thanks,Derek

Hi Guys, We want to build a complete hardware setup with a SPC58EC-DISP board, AEKPOW-100W4V1, and AEK-USB-TYPEC1 and want to show USB-PD functionality with fixed and programmable output. 1. The first issue we face is AEK-USB-TYPEC1 giving only default 5 V output and other output voltages we are not getting. We are unable to know whether the software for the USB PD application is preloaded in the SPC58 microcontroller? 2. We are unable to find the resource related to SPC5-UDESTK-SW USB/JTAG debugger software, hence unable to run the UDE application.  Looking for a suggestion?  What are the software required to build and monitor USB-PD applications?

Hello,I was trying USB Device mode with STM32F407. I tried with IAR, and it did not work but was working with Cube IDE. Found out the generated code for copying device id in usbd_desc.c for Get_SerialNum function was missing in IAR.CubeMX version 6.11.0

Hi ST,One of my clients has asked me to design a PCB which will require the ST25R3916 NFC reader IC, and the ST25DV64KC, to share the same antenna, in order to prevent the tag from interfering with the reader.I have thought about using an RF switch, such as the pSemi PE42359, however, I am unsure how this will work with differential antennas such as the antennas used in NFC communication. Additionally, it seems that the dynamic tag IC requires different matching circuits than the reader IC, with the dynamic tag IC listing an internal tuning capacitor of 28.5pF, and the reader mentioning automatic antenna tuning with a variable capacitor.Another thing I was wondering about, is, does the ST25R3916 perform the exact (or better) functions than the ST25DV64KC, when it comes to acting as an NFC tag? Because, I saw it is capable of 'card emulation', which I believe is also the case for the ST25DV64KC. If I only need to use the ST25R3916 to perform both the dynamic tag and reading functions, t

Ran into a issue with a fresh blank project, only USB OTG HS turned on. Computer would recognize the usb device but as soon as I would turn any level of optimization on the computer would no longer detect the usb and show it as connected.  I was able to load a usb HID mouse example with no problems which meant this was a code issue somewhere. Through process of elimination i was able to track down that the only real difference between the projects was 3 lines of code in the usbd_desc.c file. on line 377  is function "static void Get_SerialNum(void)"in it the following code. static void Get_SerialNum(void){uint32_t deviceserial0;uint32_t deviceserial1;uint32_t deviceserial2;deviceserial0 += deviceserial2;if (deviceserial0 != 0){IntToUnicode(deviceserial0, &USBD_StringSerial[2], 8);IntToUnicode(deviceserial1, &USBD_StringSerial[18], 4);}}  as you might notice these lines are uniniatlized, this is the code generating bug. &nbs

When will the Reference Manual be available?Yes, I saw the duck-and-run non-answer when someone asked in February.  I'd like a real answer.

I am not able to configure internal DAC reference to the internal comparator  of STM32G474VET3

I work on a project with the STM32G0 and one difference between the F0 series is, that the UART has a clock prescaler. The maximum UART peripheral clock (usart_ker_ck) is 64 MHz (max of SYSCLK and PCLK) and this clock can be prescaled with PRESC -> usart_ker_ck_pres = usart_ker_ck / PRESC. PRESC can be 2^x ( 0<=x<=8). The minimum USARTDIV value is 16. Due to oversampling, there are two different calculations for the baudrate, but I will talk only about the 16 bit oversampling, since it will produce smaller baudrates.baudrate = usart_ker_ck_pres / USARTDIV = usart_ker_ck / (PRESC * USARTDIV) USARTDIV can be 2^16 - 1 resulting in a minum baudrate of 3.8!Without the prescaler (PRESC=1) the minimum baudrate is 976.5! My question is, am I right with all that I stated here, and was the prescaler only implemented for baudrates smaller than 976.5 or am I missing something? Is there a real application for this case? I am just curious

I have some questions and remarks about the PDMFilter (used for PDM MICs).I have it working fine on a Portenta H7. Almost all OK.I have studied the UM2372 : STM32Cube PDM2PCM software library for the STM32F4/F7/H7 Series - User manualHere are my questions:1. Source Code:Is there any chance to get the source code (GitHub) for this (new version of) filter implementation?2. Filter implementation details:OK, the current version is now using an IIR filter (OK, I understand maybe why: code size, speed, latency). The older version (not recommended and supported anymore), was based on FIR, I could still find here:codec2_m4f/lib/PDM_filter at master · piratfm/codec2_m4f · GitHuba) the IIR filter:generates some artefacts (in spectrum, even documented in UM2372, e.g. a remarkable 3rd harmonics). I think to see that also other "side tones" are generated (OK).The PDM2PCM filter is very sensitive for the right amplification setting (and with which amplitude the signal from PDM comes in). Obviou

Board Used: STM32 Nucleo-L476RGWorkflow: I configured the board, added X-CUBE-AI library in Validation mode, added network in .tflite format with TFLM runtime and generated the code using STMCubeMX. Built the project and flashed the firmware with STMCubeIDE. With the X-CUBE-AI CLI, I validated the tflite model on target.Issue: I cannot understand the profiling results obtained here. Sample output is shown in the picture1. For the duration value, what is meant by 'by sample'?2. And what do the values in brackets represent for the duration? 3. What is meant by HOST duration and how is it different from normal duration? 4. In the TFLM support page on X-CUBE-AI documentation for the 8.1.0 version (screenshot attached), the output snippet provided for AI Validation application does not match the output I get from the CLI in terms of how the duration is displayed, which makes it even harder to understand the output I'm getting. Is the output snippet from a different version of the

This is on a STM32H723ZGT6 Ok for testing i went to a blank project with only the usb turned on. Set asUSB OTG HSDEVICE ONLYHIDUsing the defaults for everything. With no optimization it works and shows up correctly. With any kind of optimization turned on it wont show up in device manager but i can see in "USB DEVICE VIEWER" tool that its being seen by the computer, everything is read correctly but it has the error "*!*ERROR: No open pipes!" and it has 0 listed for open pipes. Maybe a bad assumption but I would assume with it working correctly with no optimization and then not working with optimization that this is not a physical issue but more of the compiler doing something weird? Sometimes i also get a "low power" error as well to the no pipes but i always get the no pipes error. Any thoughts, ideas or rabbit trails for me to go down would be much appreciated as I'm lost not being very experienced with usb. Thanks!

Hi everyone,I am currently working on controlling a stepper motor using a PWM signal. I want to dynamically update the speed of the motor using different ARR and CCR1 values. Controlling the stepper works fine until an uncertain amount of time when the PWM signal appears to disappear completely. I have read that something like enabling the preload register should help but this still doesn't fix my problem. Here is my code so far: #include "main.h" #define C #define F_CLK 24000000 uint16_t arr_from_freq(uint16_t freq){ return F_CLK/(freq*(TIM2->PSC+1)) - 1; } int main(void){ EPL_SystemClock_Config(); // Enable the GPIOA and TIM2 peripherals RCC->AHBENR |= RCC_AHBENR_GPIOAEN; RCC->APB1ENR |= RCC_APB1ENR_TIM2EN; // Set the mode of the GPIOA pin 5 to alternate function mode 2 GPIOA->MODER |= GPIO_MODER_MODER5_1; GPIOA->OSPEEDR |= GPIO_OSPEEDER_OSPEEDR5; GPIOA->AFR[0] |= 0b0010 << 20; // Disable the timer before setting the prescaler

Hi allI would like to create 2 virtual COM ports (VCPs) using the CDC class in USBX. The .ioc only allows for one unique PID and VID, but it appears that multiple interfaces can be created of the same class.I want to know if it is possible to create two interfaces with the CDC class, using the USBX peripheral, and to assign a unique PID/VID to each one, instead of the same PID/VID, but different interface numbers. It appears impossible using the .ioc file alone, but can it be done somewhere in code? The end result I am hoping for is to have something like this:VCP_NR_ONE (COM1) with hardware ids: VID → 0x1234 PID →0x4567VCP_NR_TWO (COM2) with hardware ids: VID → 0x1234 PID → 0x7890while still using only the USB_OTG_HS peripheral on the STM32U5A5Thanks☺

Hello, I am trying to use the TensorFlow Lite Micro library for my project in STM32CubeIDE.I have made a folder for the library in my project as shown: I have included the directory for the folder in under the "Path and Symbols" tab:When I simply try to include one of the header files in the Core/main.c code I receive this message:When I then also try to adding the Source Location:I recieve even more errors. Where most of the errors are: "No such file or directory". See image: I have also trying the folder location in the C/C++ Build settings under MCU GCC Linker/Libraries, but with no success: Does anyone know how to fix this problem or have any tips? Thank you.

Greetings,I am trying to set TIM16 on 1us period but the smallest period I am able to achieve is 4us here is the values of my prescaler and auto-reload register(ARR). I am working with the HAL.SysClk = 170MHzPSC = 16 (+1 will be added) ARR = 9 (+1 will be added) So the counter period is: SysClk/(PSC + 1)(ARR+1)  => 170Mhz/(16+1)(9+1) = 1MhzI am expected to be at the callback (HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback) function at this frequency but instead I am at 250KhzI am pretty sure this timer should be able to go to 1us period and even smaller than that. What am I doing wrong????

Hi,I built a telnet server using lwip on FreeRTOS. I based my code on the LwIP_HTTP_Server_Netconn_RTOS example. Now, I want to use the connection to relay/send data to the client from different places in my program but for this, I need to know the state of the connection (if  aclient is connected or not). I've tried the following but turns out, conn-> state always stays NETCONN_NONE even when a client is connected, i.e. that's not the way to do it:void relay_str_to_socket(char *pch, int sz){    struct netconn *conn = {0};    conn = curr_con_get();    if (conn->state != NETCONN_NONE) {      if (netconn_err(conn) == ERR_OK) {        netconn_write(conn, pch, sz, NETCONN_NOCOPY);      }    }}void telnet_server_serve(struct netconn *conn) {    struct netbuf *inbuf;    err_t recv_err;    char* buf;    u16_t buflen;    char *resp_ok = "OK,

I have an Arduino Giga (STM32H7). I'm trying to generate an interrupt on the Catch/Compare even of TIM5_CH3. TIM5 is set to one pulse mode and triggered as a slave to TIM1, they generate some PWMs; everything is working absolutely fine there. Also, I've successfully used the CC interrupt of TIM1, and now I'm trying to do the same for TIM5, which only has a global interrupt handler. I've reduced my program to its simplest form for demonstration purposes:  TIM5->DIER = 0; //disable all interrups on TIM5 TIM5->SR = 0; //set all flags down TIM5->DIER |= TIM_DIER_CC3IE; //enable interrupt from CH3 NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM5_IRQn); //enable TIM5 ISR // I don't set the priority here, doesn't seem to matter extern "C" void TIM5_IRQHandler(void){ TIM5->SR = 0; //set all flags to 0 again }  For some reason, this makes the board unresponsive. I feel like I'm missing something obvious, even though this feels very safe. Only CH3 can generate an interrupt, which i
