Hello,I'm currently considering using STWLC38.I have a question about connecting unused pins. How should unused pins be handled?(GPIO, SCL, SDA, INTB, VS, etc.) Regards,Ryoma

Hello, I am trying to create a new STM32 baremetal project for STM32MP131Axx. Errors occurred when to build the project that ADC2 is enabled by using STM32CubeMX.'ADC1' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'ADC2'? stm32mp13xx_hal_adc.c  line 2786'ADC1_COMMON' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'ADC2_COMMON'? stm32mp13xx_ll_adc.h  line 1970 STM31MP131Axx has only ADC2 but the FW package seems to expect the definition of ADC1 exists. I avoid these errors by modifying "stm32mp131axx_ca7.h" as below since I though it is better not to change "stm32mp13xx_hal_adc.c" and "stm32mp13xx_ll_adc.h" because they are common files for STM32MP13 series.#define ADC1 ((ADC_TypeDef *) ADC2_BASE) #define ADC1_COMMON ((ADC_Common_TypeDef *) ADC2_COMMON_BASE) #define ADC2 ((ADC_TypeDef *) ADC2_BASE) #define ADC2_COMMON ((ADC_Common_TypeDef *) ADC2_COMMON_BASE) I would be appreciated if you could explain the better way to avoid these erro

Hi all, For several days I have been trying to send and receive something via CAN, but I am unable to do so on the Riverdi LCD board. I read two posts here with similar problems and instructions and videos from ST, but it did not solve my problem. CAN still does not work in normal mode. I tried too on loopback mode STM board: >>  Riverdi board  On the second board with nucleo 64, I made a simple program that sends 8 bytes and works correctly. But riverdi board send like this Now FDCAN set is to 40Mhz and this is code fdcan.c:           void MX_FDCAN1_Init(void) { hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; //hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_FD_NO_BRS; //hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_EXTERNAL_LOOPBACK; //I try too hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = ENABLE; hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.ProtocolException = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.NominalPresca

I am working in STM32F103C8T6, in that PA11/PA12- CAN RX/CAN TX pin connected with MCP2551's CTX and RTX.  using DB 9 connector i cannot able to see the CAN data using ST-LINK V2. Kindly help me

I have a CAN Network with several nodes. Each nodes sends only a ACK when the message was ment for it. Lets say I have nodes A, B and C.Node A wants to send the message with ID 0x5. Node B ignores this message. Node C accepts this message (sends Ack). But currently, Node B is sending a burst of messages with ID 0x4.What I have learned so far is, that I must have "Automatic Retransmission" on, else in this scenario, when Node A is trying to send the message and is loosing the Arbitration phase, it deletes the message. With "Automatic Retransmission" on, it sends the message as soon as the bus is free again. Now the problem: Supose now node C gets disconnected from the network. With "Automatic Retransmission", node A spams the bus forever, since there is no Ack for the message. Now no message with higher ID than 0x5 can be sent anymore.I want that node A resends the message after it lost in Arbitration phase, but that the bus does not get spammed forever if there is no Ack. How can I achi

I'm working on page 30 of the STM tutorial for the B-G474E-DPOW discovery kit at this linkhttps://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00706304-buck-current-mode-with-the-bg474edpow1-discovery-kit-stmicroelectronics.pdf I get this warning when I try to follow the directions  Can someone explain how to fix this so I can move to the next step in the tutorial.I've tried looking up codegen in the reference manual and also how to manipulate ADC12.ThanksDave

Hi, i am looking for to use FDCAN by using GPDMA . I am using STM32H5 MCU for my application. it is not clear to me how can i use GPDMA with FDCAN. please guide me__PRESENT

Hello all,   I am trying to receive CAN frames from a BMS, each frame is sent every 100ms and i am running the MCU's clock frequency at 180MHz (max speed) for Nucleo F446RE. Unfortunately, i am missing some frames randomly and it makes my stateflow not working properly. The CAN filter is set to 0 everywhere so all the frames from the BMS can be handled. Does anyone know what i could do to solve the problem?   Thanks in advance

Hello everyone,A RF baudrate of 424 kbps with ISO/IEC 14443 Type A seems possible in the ST25R95 datasheet (page 15).I checked the SPI bus and this SPI frame is sent, as expected :controlcommandlength<Protocol><Parameters>...  sendProtocolSelectlengthISO/IEC 14443 Type ATx and Rx RFdataratePPMMDD0x000x020x050x020xA00x000x000x00There's no error code until I try to read if a tag is present :controlcommandlength<Data>...sendSendRecvlength  0x000x040x020x520x07wait for ST25R95 nIRQ_OUT ... then control    read...  master send:0x020x00...0x00ST25R95 response:0x0E0x86...0x00There I get 0x86 : "Communication error"*It works fine when "Tx and Rx RFdatarate" is 0x00 (106 kbps). I tested with SPI speed of 625 kHz, 1.25 MHz and 2.5 MHz (I know it's max 2 MHz for ST2595, but those speeds all works with the 106 kbps RF baudrate)So, how to get a RF baudrate of 424 kbps with the ST25R95 with ISO/IEC 14443 Type A?(other questions

Hi,I am looking for a MCU with BLE5 and audio. If BLE5 is not available with audio, then I will get compromised with Classic bluetooth. If such an MCU has signal processing capability then it will be an added advantage for me, so that I will not use another separate MCU for signal processing. Please suggest me a best suitalbe MCU which shall have Bluetooth (or BLE) with audio and signal processing.

Are there any wireless low power STM32 MCUs that support 2.4Ghz transmission? It is for a battery operated application.

Hello,The firmware for the P-NUCLEO-LRWAN2 gateway is currently provided as a binary file named "st-nucleo-lora-gw-at-fw-v2.1.7-eu868-TTN.bin." I am very interested in obtaining access to the source code to develop a modified version of the firmware for personnal uses.I understand that the P-NUCLEO-LRWAN2 kit is obsolete, but I continue to use the gateway as a packet forwarder for instrumentation and experimentation. Unfortunately, it does not support the latest version of the Semtech UDP protocol, which requires a TX_ACK to be sent after transmitting a packet (as specified here: https://github.com/Lora-net/packet_forwarder/blob/master/PROTOCOL.TXT). This limitation causes issues with multiple network servers. I would like to address this issue myself and make a few other minor modifications.Could you please let me know if the source code is fully closed, or if there is a way to obtain it?Best regards.

hello.This is my first time using TCP communication, my first time using ESP8266, and I am barely able to follow STM32. There's something I want to make, but it doesn't work out, so I'm posting it here.After configuring the ESP8266 with the AT command (Server), if you request data from the server using the Modbus poll program on your PC, the command will be received successfully.If you look at the network traffic, it comes in like this:"ec fa bc 1e fd 74 04 7c 16 a2 d5 c5 08 00 45 0000 34 4b 33 40 00 80 06 00 00 c0 a8 02 9c c0 a802 64 e2 53 01 f6 00 0e 59 85 00 00 19 71 50 18fa f0 86 77 00 00 00 11 00 00 00 06 01 03 00 0000 0a"Looking at RxData in STM32"0d 0a 2b 49 50 44 2c 30 2c 31 32 3a 02 ef 00 00 00 11 00 00 00 06 01 03 00 00 00 0a"It comes in like this."00 00 00 11 00 00 00 06 01 03 00 00 00 0a" This is Modbus data, and the values in front are written as "\r \n + I P D , 0 , 1 2 : \v ]", but I don't know what they mean.Anyway, I analyzed Modbus data and created response data.The

I understand that ADC Linear Calibration is performed during device production and the values stored in the System Memory. However, I have been unable to find any documentation on where the 6 values are stored. Also, are their 6 values per ADC device (ADC1, ADC2, ADC3) or do one set of values apply to all 3 ADCs?

Hi,I want to use BLE mesh to reach my application, the requirements below.I have a root node and need to send the custom data to each client node and need to read the status from the client nodes. The client nodes don't need to communicate with each other. The client nodes need to send back the custom data to the root node regularly. The user can use a Mobile APP to control the mesh network or through the root node by PC.The root node can be removed when the mesh network is established and finished configure each client node. If needed, the root node can rejoin the network.Based on the above needs, are there any related projects that can be referred to?Please help me and give the suggestions.Thanks.

Dear Sir/Madam,I have already implemented the usb host mass storage class project which mainly mounts the usb disk & writes some data to a given file. But this application is not working. Only usb  unmout case is executing even though I am inserting the usb disk.I am attaching the project files ,please check & reply me as soon as possible. Software development environment - STM32cubeideevaluation kit - stm32f401vc discovery kit

Hi I am new to the WBA series and am currently working with STM32WBA55G-DK1 board to implement the audio examples.I have a doubt, Can I implement my own custom profiles for sensor data transfer along with the audio, so that, when connected to an app, I will have audio as well as data services?Where will the custom GATT services sit? How to implement both the Host stack and Audio stack? Also,I realised that the DK board doesnt have many peripheral example, which, on other hand are provided for the WBA nucleo board.  Can I implement those codes in the DK board?@STTwo-32 @TDK  @KDJEM.1 @IssamosThanks in advance!

Hi, I'm unable to use the STM32Cube FW_U0 V1.1.0.  I have downloaded the package in Cube MX - Version 6.11.1 however when trying to create a project using the "Start My project from Example - ACCESS TO EXAMPLE PROJECT SELECTOR" i get the following dialogue: Regards Sean

HelloGlobal definition of pointers:unsigned int *uIntUtilityTmpP; unsigned int *uIntP_2_UtilityTmp;In a function I would like to initialize them with absolute values:*uIntP_2_UtilityTmp=0x15; *uIntUtilityTmpP=455; uCharUtilityTmp=62; sprintf(print_string,"1 -> *uIntP_2_UtilityTmp: 0x%x, *uIntUtilityTmpP: %d, uCharUtilityTmp: %d\n", *uIntP_2_UtilityTmp, *uIntUtilityTmpP, uCharUtilityTmp); writeMessageRS232(PRIMARY_COM_PORT, (uint8_t *)print_string, strlen(print_string));The printout on COM port shows following:1 -> *uIntP_2_UtilityTmp: 0x1c7, *uIntUtilityTmpP: 455, uCharUtilityTmp: 62Problem which I have here is that both pointer have the same value. When I write to *uIntP_2_UtilityTmp=0x15 I can see in debugger that also *uIntUtilityTmpP was refreshed with the same value. The same is the case in the next step when I write *uIntUtilityTmpP=455; and then variable *uIntP_2_UtilityTmp gets the same value in this case 455 which is 0x1c7.Why this is so? What to set in compiler or in mi

Dear, I am looking for this component (diode) that I cannot identify to check its datasheet  THANK YOU SO MUCHGREETINGS

My STM32H747 (Portenta H7), with latest CubeHAL H7 drivers, fails on USB streaming, as USB audio from MCU to host (USB Digital Microphone). It enters in USB FS IRQ handler all the time the branch with the "Incomplete ISO OUT". Nothing comes out to PC."Funny" is: if I let it run for a very, very long time - suddenly it works: the PC gets now my USB audio. It tells me: something wrong with the ISO stream and the frame counter (or this "even and odd" issue, as found in Internet  threads). The only solution I have found: go back to an older version of the file "stm32h7xx_hal_pcd.c".Now it works (actually, I am aware of this issue since years, I took this file from an older project where it works).OK, STM provides examples, e.g. X-CUBE-AUDIO, but it is not for a H7 MCU.Taking the USB files from there seems to be risky: it is not for the same MCU (even I would modify all includes of H7 header files), And a "Diff" on these files shows me some "dramatic" differences (where I cannot make a de

Hello everyone,I'm new to STM32 programming and currently working on a project that involves using the AMT-103-V encoder with an STM32 microcontroller. I would greatly appreciate any help or guidance on how to effectively interface and read data from this encoder using STM32.I've been exploring the datasheets and resources available, but I'm looking for practical advice or sample code that could help me get started. Specifically, I'm interested in how to set up the hardware connections and initialize communication protocols such as SPI or I2C if applicable. Additionally, any insights into how to interpret the encoder's output or handle specific commands (like BiSS-C protocol commands) would be incredibly helpful. If anyone has experience with this encoder or similar projects with STM32, I would love to hear your suggestions or see any sample code snippets that could serve as a starting point. Understanding how to integrate this encoder into my STM32 application effectively is my current

Not just an idea, something to verify:"PDM microphone via USB or Network"Instead of doing the PDM2PCM conversion (inside MCU) - send the PDM bit stream to a host PC at it is. We can do the PDM to PCM conversion, e.g. with Python scripts, on a host PC. Get the PDM bit stream directly, e.g. via USB as "Audio Input" and Python "sounddevice" or "pyaudio". Do the conversion on PC (which is faster, more flexible, allows to investigate the PDM MIC signal, e.g spectrum, which Delta-Sigma order, ...).I have checked:Actually, a PDM microphone should be similar to DSD. With 44.1 KHz sampling frequency, used for PDM MIC, it should be quite identical to a DSD64 audio bit stream. Can I send PDM (without conversion into PCM) directly (without any filter used) via USB or Network?Sure, I can! (via network anyway not a problem). As USB, I need:48KHz audio sampling frequency, with decimation 64 - I get 48 * 64 bits PDM = 3.072 MHz (on SAI, PDM MIC).with stereo = 6,144 bits per 1 msbut packed as bytes: I ne
