Hi, we are using ASM330LHB. How many times we can perform self test (in static condition) for ASM330 in its lifetime? Is there any limit OR can we perform self test unlimited times? If there is any limit please mention the count. Thanks in Advance,Pavani

Hello, both of MotionFX 6X and MotionDI return the same output (rotation vector, quaternion, gravity, and linear acceleration)so what is the difference between theme, and witch one is more suitable for 6 axes fusion ?should i implement additional calibration Lib ? like MotionAC and MotionGC ?Thank you,Sincerly.

Hallo,I'm compiling with this option   <-fpack-struct=1>Why, with this option, the instruction<WRITE_REG(hdma->Instance->CBR1, 0U);>generates hard fault? I don't understand, without changing nothing.thank you.

Hi, I am already able to visualize the data throuhg the monitor plot. I am trying to control a digital LED on the STM32 Cube Monitor based on a comparative condition. For example if I have two values being pooled, how can I set the thresholds between the values so that the LED has a TRUE or a FALSE state?

Hi, I am using 3 different STM32MCU's for our various projects, which include STM32F423, STM32L496, STM32F407 etc., I am using HAL Layers for this code in general. Now I need to create HAL Layers for these boards only, and I need to reduce the overheads caused by generic HAL code generated by cube ide. Suggest me some solutions.! what is the efficient and quick way to do this. Register level code is too much time consuming and very error prone and at the same time, I need to balance this for overheads also. Kindly help!

Hello, I am working with stm32H755 and FreeRTOS. After setting up debugger, I start debugging the program. the code is built fine, then get this error msg(attached picture) only if i enable FreeRTOS from the setup window(attached picture) . But i need to use freeRTOS. How can i solved this issue?  Any support is welcome. Hello, I'm studying the STM32F767 MCU, and I noticed that in STMCubeIDE is possible to configure if the speculation is permitted, but I didn't find an explanation of this feature. If I set Speculation disabled, do I set the flash strongly-ordered? Does speculation concern only the flash or it concerns also the other memories? Thank you

I tried adding it to wildcard characters but it always displays Fallback character "?". If I try to copy  “⌫”  to wildcard ranges i get a warrning "unexpected character ⌫". I want to display this as  a character and not as an image. Is this achivable?

I am using STM32CubeMX 6.12.0 to generate a CMake project for VSCode on Linux. In the Software Packs Component Selector, I have chosen to include the DSP library.STM32CubeMX includes the library and headers when generating code. So far, so good. However, the include path, linker path and library are not specified in the the generated CMake files. I would expect these to be included by STM32CubeMX. But, not a problem. I can add them myself.target_include_directories(stm32cubemx INTERFACE...../../Drivers/CMSIS/DSP/Include)...target_link_directories(stm32cubemx INTERFACE../../Drivers/CMSIS/DSP/Lib/GCC)target_link_libraries(stm32cubemx INTERFACEarm_cortexM4lf_math) The problem with this approach is that when making changes to the IOC file and regenerating code, the CMake files are overwritten and these changes are not preserved. First, I expect that STM32CubeMX will add the necessary paths and libraries to the CMake files when specifiying additional software packs. Is this unreaso

In the 53L5A1 Board Support Package (BSP) for the VL53L5A1 Multi-Sensor Ranging module, setting the target order (e.g., VL53L5CX_TARGET_ORDER_STRONGEST or VL53L5CX_TARGET_ORDER_CLOSEST) doesn't seem to be directly exposed through the existing BSP functions. The vl53l5cx_set_target_order() function in the vl53l5cx_api.h (from the VL53L5CX API) uses a different configuration structure (VL53L5CX_Configuration) compared to the structure used in the 53L5A1 BSP.Is there any guidance, documentation, or example code available on how to create a wrapper function to bridge these APIs and control the target order and detection thresholds for each individual ToF sensor within the multi-sensor ranging module?

Dear STM32 Community, I am currently working on a project using the STM32F072RBT6 microcontroller, where I have implemented a custom bootloader to load an application program into flash memory. However, after the bootloader successfully writes the application binary, the stack pointer does not correctly jump to the application’s address, and the application fails to execute.  MCU Model: STM32F072RBT6 Bootloader Functionality: The bootloader receives the application binary and writes it to flash memory at the designated application address. Application Flash Address: 0x08004000 Problem: After the bootloader completes, I attempt to jump to the application by setting the stack pointer and program counter accordingly, but the application does not start. It appears that the stack pointer is not correctly set to the application's address. Jump Code in Bootloader:   static void goto_application(void){ void (* app_reset_handler)(void) = (void *)(*(volatile uint32_t *) (0x08004000 +

I create interfaces using the TouchGFX application and export them to CubeIDE. However, when attempting to upload the file to the microcontroller, an error occurs, even though the TouchGFX application can upload files successfully.

Hello everyone, in a project we are using the ST25R3916 chip to read RFID cards. To do this we are using the sources of the STSW-ST25R-LIB library. If the ST25R3916 sets its IRQ output, the routine st25r3916isr() is called. In this ISR the interrupt registers are read via SPI. void st25r3916Isr( void ) { st25r3916CheckForReceivedInterrupts(); ... } void st25r3916CheckForReceivedInterrupts( void ) { ... /* In case the IRQ is Edge (not Level) triggered read IRQs until done */ while( platformGpioIsHigh( ST25R_INT_PORT, ST25R_INT_PIN ) ) { st25r3916ReadMultipleRegisters( ST25R3916_REG_IRQ_MAIN, iregs, ST25R3916_INT_REGS_LEN ); ... } ... }As other components can be connected to this SPI bus, no SPI communication is alowed in the context of an interrupt, as otherwise 2 SPI operations can overlap and this can lead to undesirable effects. How can I get around this problem? Is there some kind of polling mode or how can I move the SPI operation into the context of the main l

In documentation (RM0503), I2C CR1 register contains SBC bit field (Slave Byte Control), at position 16. Unfortunatelly, LL driver files (actually stm32u073xx.h, which is referred by driver files) have no corresponding defines.

I'm trying to get some adc values from my nucle-mb1549-ws but no matter what i do, i can't seem to get any values. Below i have attached the main.c file source code. Below is an image of my .ioc file to give you an idea of what is happening. I am trying to get a reading from the ADC_IN5 which is on PA0.  Below the orange wire should be connected to PA0, that is just connected to 3.3V or ground (supplied by the Nucleo board). Is there something wrong in my wiring or in my main.c file?

Hello,i use at a STM32F429 the PD5 pin to drive a PNP BJT transistor to switch a sensor supply:PD5 is configured as open drain, and when the stm32 is pulling PD5 low, the transistor supplies the sensor with 5V power. This works so far.But when PD5 is in open drain, the voltage at PD5 is 3,97V and at the transistor base it is 4,39V.So there is a current of 4,2µA from the transistor base into PD5 pin. This is too much for the transistor for switching off.The behavior would be explainable when PD5 would be a "normal" IO-Pin:3,97V is around 3,3V plus the internal protection diode. But PD5 is a FT GPIO Pin, 5V tolerant I/O.The datasheet specifies a maximum Ilkg at Vin = 5V of 3µA.So at 4V we are already >4µA.The behavior is the same when PD5 is configured as input.Internal pull up/down is iswitched off. What do you mean?

Hi,Is there any NFC chip that is capable of emulation NFC-V Tags (ISO 15693)?Thanks.

I connected a Raspberry Pi 3 to the ST25R3911B-DISCO and used the Linux driver suggested by ST.   However, I haven't been able to successfully detect the IRQ despite following the setup.   Any suggestions on troubleshooting this issue?

Hello,I made a GPIO_EXTI test project referring to GPIO_EXTI sample. For just check, I added entering Stop Mode int the GPIO_EXTI sample and HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback worked regularly like following. HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode(PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON, PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI); while (1) { if(stop_flag == 1) { stop_flag = 0; // Enter Stop Mode HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode(PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON, PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI); } } void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin) { if(GPIO_Pin == KEY_BUTTON_PIN) { // Toggle LED3 BSP_LED_Toggle(LED3); stop_flag = 1; } } But in my project the HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback didn't occur. So I checked difference for both initial settings in SystemClock_Config() and GPIO_Init() but I could only find difference __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE() and __HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE1).How should I resolve it?Just for reference I'll write both settings. I'm working on emulating a T2T with my device. It successfully makes it through automatic anticollision, then starts looking for commands. When I see 0x30 0x00, I go ahead and send the first 16 bytes, but the reader does not react or show the read data.Right now I'm thinking that I'm transmitting wrong while in Listen Mode. The RFAL never does T2T emulation, so I don't have an example there. Right now, when I see a 0x30 command, I do the following:Send command CLEAR FIFOSet Num Tx Bytes 1 to the MSBSet Num Tx Bytes 2 mask 0xF8 to the LSBWrite the data to the FIFOSend command TX WITH CRCIs there a different way to do it in Listen Mode? With T2T Emulation the chip's field will never be on, but I don't see a way to explicitly modulate a response. The first 16 bytes are shown above, with the CC 0xE1 0x10 0x3F 0x0F. I do also have an empty NDEF TLV and the Terminator TLV, but no memory regions beyond the first 4 blocks are attempted to be read. Also - I couldn't find any information on the I

Hello,I am trying to make a program in which the micro stm32u5 is stored in ram memory some data after activating the Sleep Mode. For this I have defined in the flash file the SRAM2 memory that is supposed to be in charge of this and I have saved it as noload so that it keeps its values:SRAM2 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20030000, LENGTH = 64K .ram2 (NOLOAD):{_sram2 = ..;*(.ram2*). = ALIGN(4);_eram2 = ;} >SRAM2 Once SRAM2 is defined, I have saved a structure in that section of  srram2 memory:NODEconf_TypeDef NODE_conf __attribute__((section(".ram2")));When I run the code I can see in Memory that this structure is well stored in memory, but when I run the Standby Mode and it is awakened by the RTC alarm, all the parameters of the structure are erased. void SLEEP_mode(void) { HAL_PWREx_EnableSRAM2ContentStandbyRetention(PWR_SRAM2_PAGE1_STANDBY); HAL_PWR_EnableWakeUpPin(PWR_WAKEUP_PIN7_HIGH_3); HAL_PWR_EnterSTANDBYMode(); }Any help?

Hi,I am using STM32H753XIH6 in a new design. The PCB is already manufactured, ready for the assembly. The issue is that I mistakenly designated the pins F1, F2 and G2 as NC in my schematic library model, but realized that the datasheet says they should be tied to VSS (*future readers should refer to the note at the bottom of this message for more precise explanation.) My question is, what would be the effect of leaving the pins F1, F2 and G2 floating?I will consider some post-manufacturing rework ideas with the assembly service company, but in case we cannot come up with a good solution, it is best to know how the part would behave (work, do not work, work unexpectedly, work with lower speed or higher power consumption, etc) if it is powered up while those pins are left floating. * F1:  This ball should not remain floating. It can be connected to VSS or VDD. It is reserved for future useF2 and G2: This ball should be connected to VSS
