Hello,I am using the latest version of STM32 Monitor with STLink V3 probes, and everything is working correctly. My only issue is the refresh rate of the STLink probe status on STM32CubeMonitor, which is currently 20 seconds. We are performing frequent reprogramming of our boards for development, and we need to reduce this time to 5 seconds.I tried the method suggested on the STMicroelectronics wiki, but I couldn't find the specified value in the folder \STM32CubeMonitor\resources\app\node_modules\@stm32\stm32cubemonitor-stlink-protocol\.Could you please guide me on how to adjust this value?Best regards,

I usually use a Mac, but don't hold that against me.First, no Mac support. You're making me fire up windows, TouchGFX better be good. Fine, move on.I've gone through the videos and created a few screens and have them running updating values, buttons working, so I'm not a COMPLETE noob, just going through the motions to figure out what a noob might run into.Create a new project in TouchGFX Designer for STM32F429i-DISC1, call it fu429Disco for a 429 discovery board. Rotate the display by 90 degrees. Generate code and save. (I put 'fu' at the beginning of project names that are throwaway and okay to delete without thinking)Go into CubeIDE, <File><Open Projects from File System...>. Search around for my project. Go back into Designer and find out that the project was stored in a directory in c:\ instead of my home directory. Why? That's an odd decision, isn't Windows a multi-user OS? Aren't you supposed to keep your files out of the root directory? That was a rule 20 years ago.

Hi,on a brandnew PC with Win10 i installed CubeIDE 1.16.1.After that, i want to import example project "BLE_HeartRate. Then i got this message:  I thougt that CubeIDE installed the required Firmware Package automatically?

I’m having trouble finding a hardware reference design for the RTC on the STM32C0 series (STM32C031C4).I need guidance on how to properly design the hardware since the STM32C031C4 doesn’t have a VBat pin for battery connection. Could someone please guide me on how to resolve this issue?

I'm working on a mobile app that involves image processing and I'm considering using an STM32 microcontroller. Does anyone have experience with optimizing these for image editing tasks? I've been exploring photo editing apps like Meitu and would love to hear how similar capabilities can be achieved with STM32. Any insights would be helpful!

I try to search ST products datasheet for ic smd package 14 pin marking code UAPS and EZM7117.What is IC and datasheet?Thank You.

Hello, I am using a STM32F411 with SDIO (4bit) and fatfsWhen reading block I have regular SDMMC_ERROR_COM_CRC_FAILED error, from SDMMC_GetCmdResp1 function. What could be the reason for such error ? thanksVincent

Hi, I'm trying to transmit Ethernet frame received by STM32H7[0] (passed this packet via serial) to STM32H7[1] to output on STM32H7[1] Ethernet. Ethernet packets input and output operates well if I act just with single controller, but looks like Ethernet packets can't passed to out.I think the problem on STM32H7 hardware MAC configuration as I've tried to pass Ethernet packets with differ hardware address .My efforts to configure Ethernet HAL gave no result:     ... FilterConfig.PromiscuousMode = 1; FilterConfig.HashUnicast = 0; FilterConfig.HashMulticast = 0; FilterConfig.DestAddrInverseFiltering = 0; FilterConfig.PassAllMulticast = 0; FilterConfig.BroadcastFilter = 1; FilterConfig.ControlPacketsFilter = 0x03; FilterConfig.SrcAddrInverseFiltering = 0; FilterConfig.SrcAddrFiltering = 0; FilterConfig.HachOrPerfectFilter = 0; FilterConfig.ReceiveAllMode = 1; HAL_ETH_SetMACFilterConfig(&EthHandle, &FilterConfig); ...    Praying

Hi @Jocelyn RICARD GreetingsWe have a query from our support team"known vulnerability in the STM32U5 series related to the JTAG lock when using RDP (Readout Protection) Level 2." Is it advisable to proceed with this implementation, or should we consider alternative solutions?Reference:STM32 JTAG lock vulnerability with RDP Level 2:SECGlitcher (Part 1) - Reproducible Voltage Glitching on STM32 Microcontrollers - SEC Consult (sec-consult.com) How can this vulnerability resolved or any other suggestion in this regardThanks againPhilip

HiI'm fighting with stm32f107vct to work with external PHY LAN8720.After many tries running it on FreeRTOS with lwIP I decided to start it over.I disabled freertos and lwIP.In CubeIDE I’m enabling only ETH, changing addresses of registers (since IDE doesn’t set it properly), changing PHY address. When I’m debugging, during initializing ETH BSR register (adress 1) = 30729 (0b0111100000001001)Corresponding to the data sheet it’s proper value, so I consider that MAC is communicating with PHY 0b0111100000001001 Now my problem is that after connecting cable (rj45) I’m not getting bit responsible for link on (BIT 2).LEDs aren’t blinking and after connecting a logic analyzer I do not see any activity.maybe I will try it tomorrow with a oscilloscope. On ETH_XTAL1 line I can see stable 50Mhz clock. ETH_XTAL1 is also clocking MAC. My schematic and BSR

I get an error message when trying to create a support request (a.k.a. OLS case/ticket).I don't know who my Salesforce admin is or how to contact them.

Hi. Is there any consideration that I need to take care of when I use HAL_GetUIDw0~2 while ICACHE is enabled?even the simplest project with STM32H573IIK3Q that the ICACHE is enabled will get a hardfault when trying to get UID bytes. This is the whole code that I have: /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { uint32_t x,y,z; x=HAL_GetUIDw0(); //y=HAL_GetUIDw1(); //z=HAL_GetUIDw2(); HAL_Delay(1000); /* USER CODE END WHILE */ /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ } /* USER CODE END 3 */

Hi,I'm having trouble following how to properly setup free fall detection on the LIS2DH12. I'd like to generate an interrupt when the device goes from rest to free falling for a couple feet. The duration of the fall would be approximately 200ms. I'm a bit confused by how the combination of the INT1_CFG, INT1_THS and INT1_DURATION registers affect free-fall detection. Some questions:INT1_CFG - what are the differences in high vs low interrupt enabling? If low is enabled, does it wait for the  current reading to drop below INT1_THS threshold value for INT1_DURATION? Conversely if high is enabled, does it wait for the current reading to rise above INT1_THS threshold value for INT1_DURATION?A free-fall algorithm would typically detect three states, (1) Resting (+/- 1g on one or more axis, depending on how the chip is oriented) to initial acceleration (+/- N acceleration increase on the axis, or axes, of fall direction), (2) Initial acceleration to free fall (acceleration on axis

So I've been messing with TouchGFX for a while now using the designer to construct the various GUI portions on my application. However I am now at a point that I need to add additional C++ classes to my project and I am having a hard time figuring out how to make them part of the TouchGFX project.I have a STM32CubeIDE project named "Project" inside of which I have the "TouchGFX" folder that was generated when I configured the project for my target. I can successfully build and run my TouchGFX application on the target. Additionally I can also run the application using the simulator with out any issues.I have added a new folder inside the "TouchGFX" folder called "additional" that contains a "src" and "include" folder for header and source files that I need to be included in the project (note the "src" and "include" folders also have sub folders in the to organize my files). How can I make this "additional" folder and all its contents part of the project so they are compiled when I build

I am currently working with the STEVAL-VP26K01B evaluation board, which utilizes the VIPER26K IC, as part of an electric car project for Formula Student. During my study of the board's design, I noticed that the feedback is taken from a resistor divider between the output and the source of the power MOSFET.Intuitively, I would have expected the feedback to be referenced to ground, but this is not the case in the design. Could you please provide clarification or insights into the rationale behind this design choice? Understanding this would greatly enhance my comprehension of the system.

Hello,Based on 157DAC1-DK1, my board designed using 157DAA1. After I confirmed boot on DK1 board using image of sd card, I tryed boot on my board using sd card on same DK1 Image of sd card but failed. My board have only one I2C (I2C4) for PMIC.  Can you advise or solution?  My error Log is that :NOTICE: CPU: STM32MP157DAA Rev.ZNOTICE: Model: STMicroelectronics STM32MP157D-DK1 Discovery BoardERROR: I2C device not readyPANIC at PC : 0x2fff1247Exception mode=0x00000016 at: 0x2fff1247

Hi , I see in the Datasheet in Table 31 some reciever parameters .I need to know what is the Dynamic Range of the Reciever in the STM32WLE5 . can you point me to which parameters should I look at ? Thank youViola

Both X-CUBE-EEPROM and STSW-STM32117 (AN4061 - for STM32F0) use "Virtual Addresses" in the emulated storage: But nowhere explains how these "Virtual Address" numbers are determined/decided.It seems to me that (apart from 0x0000 and 0xFFFF being reserved)*, the choice is completely arbitrary - is that right? The examples use "sparse" virtual address values - is there any advantage in doing that ?Would there be any benefit in choosing values with maximum spacing - more "entropy" ? EDIT:* Both 0x0000 and 0xFFFF are reserved by X-CUBE-EEPROM;Only 0xFFFF is reserved by AN4061 (presumably also by AN2594, AN3390, AN4056, and AN3969?)

Hi,I have been trying to trigger a RAM ECC error for testing. I have referenced the code Here. However, I cant trigger an ecc error. The plan is to read uninitialized ram as mentioned in AN5342. I am using SRAM(1-3) (Mem address 0x30000000 - 0x30047FFF). hi, I have two B-WB1M-WPAN1 cards and I would like to create a program that works as a client server, so one card will act as a server and then other client cards will send messages to it via BLE, I saw the example proposed by the company "BLE_HR_p2p_Sensor" which might look like what I want to do but I haven't quite figured out how it all works.Where can I find, for example, a complete file with commands useful for BLE transmission? Then if you have any advice they are welcome, I would also be curious to understand how the connection through the application from the phone to the card works.

How can I scale buttoms and sliders at TouchGFX 4.20?I am using it to code an app for the STM32F746G-DISCO and I want to resize buttoms and sliders. Is it possible?

Hi,New to STM32 I'm discovering the STM32L072CZ, I'm trying to access the AHB2 bus by SWD interface in order to r/w on addresses (say 0x4800 0000 on peripheral GPIOA). When performing a coresight read on 0x48000000 I got 0xBC11477.After checking Ultra-low-power STM32L0x2 advanced Arm®-based 32-bit MCUs - Reference manual page 56/1009 it says "After each device reset, all peripheral clocks are disabled (except for the SRAM and MIF).Before using a peripheral you have to enable its clock in the RCC_AHBENR,RCC_APB2ENR, RCC_APB1ENR or RCC_IOPENR register."I have no clue how to access RCC_AHBENR since RCC is defined on AHB1.Trying to read on the boundary address 0x40021000-0x400213FF gives in cycle 0xbc11477 0xf0000040 (unspecified error) 0x0... I don't know what does that mean.Am I on the right way ? thanks.

Hello, I have a question regarding having both library (from the example files) SubGHz and LoRaWAN on the same microcontroller STM32WL5MOC at the same time and my idea is to use a switch to choose which on i would like to use depending in the case of use.

Status bits in the RCC internal clock source calibration register (RCC_ICSCR) indicate which clock(s) is (are) ready and which clock is currently used as a system clock.Should be the following:Status bits in the RCC clock control register (RCC_CR) indicate which clock(s) is (are) ready.Status bits in the RCC clock configuration register (RCC_CFGR) indicate which clock is currently used as a system clock.

Hello all,In my design, I wish to use the STM32H725RGV6 (VFQFPN 68pin)In this package, there is no embedded LDO.There is no explanation or design example for the use the embedded SMPS in this package...should I connect the SMPS output directly to VCORE?ThanksNir
