I have created a demo project using touch gfx I'm able to flash that project using touch gfx. But when I try to flash that project using Stm32Cube ide it raises an error like "Failed to execute M1 command". Please refer attachments for more details.

Hello,I am trying to run an Edge Impulse machine learning model for audio detection using STM's IMP34DT05TR microphone and the STM32G473VET6 microcontroller.I have imported the Edge Impulse C++ library, but I am encountering issues during inference such as 'Failed to run DSP process' and 'Failed to run classifier.'Can someone help with the steps required to successfully run the ML model, including interfacing the microphone and troubleshooting these errors?Any help is much appreciated!Thank you!

I have installed OpenSTLinux SDK + Sources (linux, tf-a, u-boot, optee-os) on a STM32CubeIDE project.I have compiled optee-os for my custom board, but it did not work so well for tf-a.This is clearly a bug because I cannot add "i2c2_pin_a" into the .dts file of stm32mp151-stm32-computer-pin-configuration-mx.dts. If I renamei2c4_pins_mx -> i2c2_pins_amanually inside the .dts file, then the error disapear when I compile. But I cannot do that in STM32CubeIDE because it does not allow me to add "i2c2" for TF-A.So is there any walk around for this bug? 23:03:35 **** Build of configuration Default for project stm32-computer-pin-configuration_CA7_tf-a-2.8.15-r2 **** make -f ../Makefile.sdk.ide TF_A_DEVICETREE=stm32mp151a-stm32-computer-pin-configuration-mx TF_A_CONFIG=optee-sdcard stm32 metadata Wrapper for /opt/st/stm32cubeide_1.16.0/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mpu.linux.toolchain_2.1.0.202305092038/tools/bin/make FIP_DEPLOYDIR_ROOT: /home/lubuntu/Dokument/GitHub/stm32-computer/STM

Good morning,  I'm writing to ask about the missing "Hardware flow control" option on our new H7S3L8 board..We are trying to migrate a project from an F756ZG which did almost everything well (aside from the debugger). However, we're having an issue with our RS485 connections, which require a "DE" (driver enabled) signal :Here's the F7 UART7 configuration (with the Hardware Flow Control option)We tried to implement it ourselves, thinking it would just require an extra GPIO output and the following logic : HAL_GPIO_WritePin(TX_EN_GPIO_Port, TX_EN_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart7, data, strlen (data) , 1000); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(TX_EN_GPIO_Port, TX_EN_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); But right now we're having issues communicating with our sensors (we're going through a MOD-RS485 board)Does anyone know if the H7S3L8 will eventually get the feature, is it something that can easily be done manually... or should we give up and move to a different H7 variant? Just updated STM32CubeMx from 5.3.0 to 5.4.0 and discovered the new files sys.h / sys.c after code generation. What's the purpose of this file ? Obviously the containing function MX_SYS_Init() is never called ...

Hi all,I have the following problem: the backup domain registers are sometimes cleared on power off/on, despite having a 3V coin cell CR1632 connected to the pin VBAT and the GND plane. The RTC registers are then cleared. The error occurs sporadic. Typically between 1 to 20 times of disconnecting/connecting the VDD supply.Due to the missing power, I cannot debug while the bug appears. The code was not generated using Cube or HAL libraries. The uC used is an STM32F207IGT6 mounted on a proprietary PCB. I already checked/tried the following:Setting the BDRST bit in the RCC_BDCR register would cause a software reset of the Backup Domain. This bit is never set to 1 by the software (as far as I can tell)There is a 100nF ceramic capacitor across the battery, stabilizing the voltage. The voltage seems stable, no drop or spike during turn off/turn on of VDD (measured across this 100nF capacitor).Everything else works fine on the microcontroller; the RTC registers seem to be fine, I can read back

HiI try to play a video on 1080 P , and my stm32mp157f-dk2 board are connecting through the HDMI , and  whenever i play the video, video getting so many lags but sound is good, please let me know.i am using the same players With GPUGstreamer graph: playbin3 uri=file://$VIDEO video-sink=' gtkwaylandsink name=gtkwsink '

Hi,I am currently encountering an issue with STM32CubeMX (v6.12.1) when trying to generate the sample BSP code for the STM32H755ZI-6U (Nucleo-H755ZI-Q development board). Specifically, the usual pop-up prompt to select BSP drivers for demonstration code is no longer appearing when I create a new project. This issue started after I installed STM32CubeIDE alongside STM32CubeMX on my system (Windows 11) to compare the workflows between STM32CubeIDE and VS Code. At that point, I made modifications to some library files, particularly the CMSIS-DSP libraries, which seems to have triggered the problem. Prior to this, the BSP code generation was working correctly.I have tried reinstalling STM32CubeMX, and I am currently using MCU package version 1.11.2, but the issue persists. Additionally, I have noticed that the BSP dropdown is missing from the pinout configuration in STM32CubeMX. However, the BSP dependency files are present in the repository at the installation location, which suggests

Hello everyone, I would like to know if the Nucleo-H7A3ZI-Q supports the MDIO to external Ethernet PHY control via SMI (MDC and MDIO). I have the setup connected, and I have programmed it accordingly but the MDC and MDIO Lines are always LOW, not even a hint of toggling or any thing on the PINS when viewed on a logic analyser. This brings me to my question. Does the Nucleo-H7A3ZI-Q support control on an external PHY. Best regards

Hi everyone,We are currently designing a board which integrate a STM32L071Ux  with UFQFPN32 pinout. In the pin description of this package, it is indicated that pin VDDIO2 supply PA11 and PA12.As we are not using some pins including PA11 and PA12, we are thincking about not connected VDDIO2 to power supply.I didn't find more info about the goal of the VDDIO2 pin, can it has side effects on this microcontroller ?And if not using PA11 and PA12 is it recommended to connect or disconnect VDDIO2 pin ?Thank you for your time.Yohann

hello, I can not find any good doc for packcreator. I would like to add a folder to my pack, it should be add on the root of my project. it is a tools for win, (exe, py, ...). I have added to others file and as a component. but after generating the project, it is not exist in my project. and how to use custom LinkerScript, I mean copy my file to original one after generating project.

Tried flashing stm32f412 custom controller using uart but facing error while going to boot mode. I need to flash my hex file to custom stm32f412 board but unable to connect using uart and facing issue while erase memory

There seems to be conflicting information about FMC support on the STM32F446RE board. As the spec sheet says that it doesn't have support for FMC while the stm32f4 series product page says it has FMC. I have attached some files showing this contradiction. What should I believe in?, the specific board revision is MB1136 C-04 A220702108. Thanks in advance.

I have a scrollwheel with cicular function working on my screen. The list is variable depending on how many pages are required on the screen. At the moment I have 3 numbers exposed to show the next and previous pages in the list. This creates 5 drawables in the Base file. If I have less than 5 pages in the list I get gaps in the list (ie Page 1, 2, 3, , ,).I could load in the spaces with the next number but then that makes it illogical because it will then end up 1,2,3,1,2. Can I reduce the number of drawables or is there a way to fill the gaps to keep it logically moving continuously

Hello, I am trying to set the device into standby mode before the actual code execution. I have set a pin as a wake-up source from standby mode and I need to run the actual code after waking up from standby mode. The workflow seems to work, for instance it goes to standby mode and when an interrupt comes from the pin the system wakes-up and starts the actual code execution. When it comes to enable a pin with HAL_GPIO_WritePin then the system crashes and it reset again. This is causing a loop of standby mode and wake up event which I don't want. I need the standby to run only once before the actual code. So for that I use this code:  1) It enters into the standby mode since the check_reset_source returns 0 from the first execution of the program2) Then an interrupt comes to the pin and the system wakes-up from standby mode.3) It starts again  and after peripheral initialization check_reset_source returns 1 and then it goes to the actual code execution.4) When the init_tes

Hi , in the Datasheet there are few interfaces which are marked as "alternate functions" for DEBUG_RF or DEBUG_SUBGHZSPI.  ( Table 20 in the Datasheet)But , I didnt find any info regarding what can I use those function for ? for example - Can i access this SPI from external pins ? is there additional Info regarding those debug capabilities and what each signal is used for ? ThanksViola

Hello, I developed a custom board with a pinmap based on stm32mp157f - dk2.I think if you match the pinmap and use the start package, lcd and other features will work.I re-created the sd card according to that advice, and I also rebooted it, but the same thing is happening. What should I do?History: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mpus-products/error-message-inquiries-and-display-problems/m-p/714459#M11850https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mpus-boards-and-hardware/check-error-code-for-uart4/td-p/700161

Hi, I am using sprintf to format data before sending it over a UART. STM Cube IDE 1.16.1STM32F103 The code works in one project but not in another. I have ticked "Use float with printf in MCU/MPU Settings"int size = sprintf(&Buffer,"{\"src_addr\":\"%s\",\"PDOP\":%5.2lf,\"HDOP\":%5.2lf,\"VDOP\":%.2lf,\"Volts\":%.2f}\n", "2", pdop, hdop, vdop,Volts);for some reason the code end up in syscall.cvoid _exit (int status) { _kill(status, -1); while (1) {} /* Make sure we hang here */ }

Greeting.I'm trying to get our ADC subsystem up and running and getting weird errors in dmesg during boot. I'm trying to store a const struct at a specific flash memory location using the STM32CubeIDE. I tried appending the __attribute__((at(address))) to the struct initialization, but the compiler ignores it: "warning: 'at' attribute directive ignored [-Wattributes]"const runtimeParams params __attribute__((at(0x0801F800))) = { // ... initialization values };What would be the correct way to accomplish this?

Hi,I have used a custom board with an STM32WB55CG MCU to successfully connect to a Tuya Gateway and also a Homassistent/Zigbee2mqtt setup with the OnOff functionality. As next topic I wanted to add a color control functionility and tried several optins (Profile ID HA or ZLL) and several functions of the color control cluster (such as step_color_xy or move_to_color_xy).In my Homassistent, the board was successfully detected (already one step ahead of my trial with Tuya) and the clusters were detected correctly. However, sending any color request from the UI in Homassistent did not work and no command was received on my board (reading the Debug messages with UART), while the OnOff functionality was still there.Since the UI gives also the option, to send commands directly, I tried to send a command to my endpoint, with the cluster 0x0300 (Color Control) and 0x07/0x09 (move_to/step_color_xy) and an arbitrary payload (Zigbee2mqtt makes sure that the format is correct). Neither of t

Hi there ST team! I'm working with this article  https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP13_Discovery_kits_-_Starter_PackageMy setup is Windows 11. So far I downloaded and installed STM32Cube programmer and I can open the application. Now, I'm trying to install the "STM32Bootloader.bat" but it doesn't do anything. I can't see the device appearing on the device manager even tough the board is connectedWhen I was downloading the file from ST page, it doesn't allowed me to download 64 bit file, only the 32bit. As far as I understand Windows 11 is only 64 bit. Maybe that's part of the problem? Thanks a lot in advance

I'm new to microcontrollers. I bought a Nucleo-H755ZI-Q, I connect it to my PC, I make a simple program like turning on and off a LED but the card doesn't do it. I don't know if I have to make any adjustments because it's new.
