Hi all,I have a Nucelo-H7S3L8 board running the demo application. The project has 2 applications (boot, and application). The boot is supposed to jump to the application, which is located in the external MX25UM25645GXDI00 memory. However when debugging the boot application the BOOT_Application() function returns "BOOT_ERROR_MAPPEDMODEFAIL". My configuration for the MX25UM25645GXDI00 is attached to this post.Any hints or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I have two STM32F407IGT6 chips, and I need help understanding the markings printed on their surfaces.Images attached:First chip: "STM32F407IGT6 AA295 VQ 6 TWN AA 342"Second chip: "STM32F407IGT6 VQ249473 AA297 TWN AA 318"I would like to know:What each line of the markings represents? How to verify the authenticity of these chips? If there are any important differences between these two chips based on the markings?Any detailed guidance or resources to decode this information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, I'm trying to find more information regarding ThreadX's on-the-fly properties update feature. In the ST Wiki article, there is mention of this feature, but none of the links and webpages seem to provide any details regarding what this feature is or how to use it. Introduction to THREADX - stm32mcu Is the on the fly update the same as 'over the air' updates? Are there any articles about this feature? Have there been any coding examples showing how this feature is implemented? Thanks

I am using a Nucleo-H743ZI as a SPI slave device for the following coms method: Master Pulls SS low, Delay 1ms. Master Transmit/Receive 1 Byte (Wait for high busy line) Slave RXP Interrupt-> Lower Busy Line Slave Transmit/Receive 1 Byte Slave Process Byte, Set next transmit byte Slave Raise Busy Line Master Transmit/Receive 1 Byte Repeat untilldata is done Master Raises SS The Master is acting properly and the slave receive is correct; however, the slave transmit is two bytes behind. For now I have hard coded the transmit to send 5. All the data is received correctly by the slave in this time but the slave does not transmit 5 until the third byte is received.SLAVE SETUP: hspi1.Instance = SPI1; hspi1.Init.Mode = SPI_MODE_SLAVE; hspi1.Init.Direction = SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES; hspi1.Init.DataSize = SPI_DATASIZE_8BIT; hspi1.Init.CLKPolarity = SPI_POLARITY_LOW; hspi1.Init.CLKPhase = SPI_PHASE_2EDGE; hspi1.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_SOFT; hspi1.Init.FirstBit = SPI_FIRSTBIT

I am having issues with my slave responding to my master. I am trying to lessen complexity by only using RXP on the slave, without TXP. The slave (Nucleo-H743ZI) responds one byte late.On the CS interrupt I send 0 for the first byte and enable RXP.*((__IO uint8_t *)&hspi1.Instance->TXDR) = 0; __HAL_SPI_ENABLE_IT(&hspi1, SPI_IT_RXP); __HAL_SPI_ENABLE(&hspi1);I then receive a byte and set the next transmit byte. I use FPint so the master does not send data when it is low (used for later implementation).  void spiISRSTM(SPI_HandleTypeDef *hspi) { //Receive if ready if (hspi->Instance->SR & SPI_FLAG_RXP) { HAL_GPIO_WritePin(nFPINT_GPIO_Port, nFPINT_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); rxBuffer = (*(__IO uint8_t *)&hspi->Instance->RXDR); (*(__IO uint8_t *)&hspi->Instance->TXDR) = 1; HAL_GPIO_WritePin(nFPINT_GPIO_Port, nFPINT_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); } __HAL_SPI_CLEAR_UDRFLAG(hspi); __HAL_SPI_CLEAR_OVRFLAG(hspi); __HAL_SPI_CLEAR_EOTFLA

I am trying to program STM32 Blue pill board using Keil, and it gives the following error: "Connection refused due to device mismatch; Device connected to debug unit is different from device selected for project target STMicroelectronics STM32F103C8." I am using ST-Link debugger for programming as it does not have on-board ST-debugger. The issue is that it reads chip ID:0x2BA01477, which, I have read on other forums, is the ID read when your board uses clone instead of real STM32F103C8T6. Still, I want to program it using Keil. When I program the same setup using Arduino IDE, it is gets programmed in a perfectly fine way. Is there any other way to resolve this error in Keil using the same board or there is no other option left but to replace the board?

So I have three switches (nothing special just momentary push button) wired into the board PC2, PC3 and PA4. All are using internal pullups. PC2 and PC3 are set for rising / falling trigger IRQs and PA4 is set for falling IRQ. They all have their own ISR function and use a single callback. I am monitoring EXT -> PR register (interrupt flag) and I notice that when I push one of the buttons it will sometimes set 1, 2 or even all 3 of the flags and I never touch the other buttons. Here is an example of me pushing PC2 and 2,3,4 all went off. Sometimes only the one I want goes off as I would expect but many times multiple flags get set. There is nothing else on top of the board. It is a Nucleo-F401RE. Any ideas as to what could be going on here as I am totally confused?

I am trying to get the Ux_Device_CDC_ACM application working on the NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-Q development board.  I see the VCOM port activated on the PC but how do I get the UART port?  It appears that the application writes from the UART port to the VCOM port and vice-versa, but it is not clear how to connect the UART.  Do I use an FTDI cable somehow? Or is it on the USB-C connector?

I have a fully working touchgfx project in the stm32f746g-dk. So far I always edit this project by just opening the touchgfx designer. Now, I need to config this project to run on the stm32u5g9j-dk2, how can I do it? I would like to avoid coping the GUI folder from one project to the other, but I haven't found any specific documentation about it on the touchgfx tutorials.

A pattern is going to use P-NUCLEO-53L8A1 to monitor when a person get in to the bus , does anybody know how to send the information to the cloud via 4G or CAT and send GPS location, which devices should I use?

Hi All!I'm trying to use USB high speed in STM32h723 with an external phy usb3300.I started the program from the CubeMx Ux_Device_CDC_ACM which uses the internal phy.I modified the clocks and the USB module to use an external phy USB3300 and so far it works fine in Full Speed. My problem is that when I try to use it at High Speed, the enumeration is not going well and the device is not recognised by the PC (win10).With a USB protocol analyser, I got this when High speed is set: Got stuck in with device configurationChirp, passation of data with address setting and device descriptor seems to workAnd This is Full Speed: Works fineWith an oscilloscope, I check the 60M clock, and the timing of DIR, NEXT, and STP signals relative to the CLK.Even though they are not very clean signals there are within the data sheet limitations. My questions:1. Anyone with the idea of what I Should do?2. Where in the program can I look to debug the functions handling the enumeration of the USB?I have USBX, Thr

Just startet my small modbus therrmocouple project and im facing the issue with STM32G071CBU6.       First of all im not abble to connect via DFU usb, device isnt recognize i try reinstal stmCubeProgrammer, didnt change anything. Then try install drivers too device manualy, windows claims that best drivers are installed.       Second, im abble to connect via UART and put bin inside but the problem is im abble to do it only once (tried 2 IC's), after that programms run OK but device isn't visible via UART anymore. What's weird is that chip doesn't react to BOOT0 (PA14) state change's. Low is boot from flash, high from bootloader. No matter if its high or low, or even floating programm is running. The only way to erase chip is connecting via STLink, than UART works again untill next bin being write. Anybody face simmiliar issue?Schematic in attached.

The SVD files package available for the H5 family (here) does not include any SVDs for the H523 and H533 sub-families. Can we get access to those files?

I am trying to get SBSFU (1_image) running on the STM32H755. I'm working from um2262 and this post https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-security/sbsfu-porting-to-a-custom-board/m-p/200240/highlight/true#M2917 My setup is a NUCLEO-H755zi, STM32CubeToolchain and I'm starting from the NUCLEO-H753 example. For now I am just trying to get the M7 running and will aim to add the M4 later. (M4 boot is disabled in the option bytes). Looking back at my diff all that has changes I've made from the example are:- defines removed STM32H753xx and added STM32H755xx and CORE_CM7.- replace system_stm32h7xx.c with system_stm32h7xx_dualcore_bootcm7_cm4gated.c- app_sfu.h I've uncommented SFU_VERBOSE_DEBUG_MODE and SECBOOT_DISABLE_SECURITY_IPS Having flashed the SBSFU.elf via CubeProgrammer and gone through the steps in 8.3 of um2262, there is no obvious UART connection or sign of life from the firmware.I'm sure I'm missing something basic he

Hi,I have downloaded the example BLE_ApplicationInstallManager application for STM32WB7.As suggested in the readme-BLE_ApplicationInstallManager.bin was loaded at 0x10040000.My BleApplication.bin (embedding OTA service) was loaded at 0x10041000.Noticed that, on reset my BleApplication doesn't run.I noticed Application/User/Core/main.c is only initializing the HAL. NUCLEO-WB07CC/Applications/BLE/BLE_ApplicationInstallManager I expected something similar to NUCLEO-WBA55CG/Applications/BLE/BLE_ApplicationInstallManager/Core/Src/main.c What am I missing?Regards,Ashish

Hi,I am using the st25r3916b to read cards (ISO14443A) and as card emulator. I am not sure if I am using the maximum antenna power. If you could give the clue of which registers and which values should I use to have it with the maximum output power. Thanks, Sandra

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing some frustrating issues while trying to generate code for a blank project using TouchGFX with the STM32H757XIHX dual-core.When I attempt to generate the code, I receive an error indicating that it cannot locate the .cproject file. I’ve generated this project using the IDE, which I really hate; Although TouchGFX supposedly supports Makefile as a toolchain, when I try to generate the code with Makefile, it throws an error stating that the toolchain is not accepted. This leaves me with no option but to rely on the IDE, which generates a folder structure where the .cproject is located within the CM7 subproject. It seems that TouchGFX is looking for the .cproject in the root directory, where it’s not present. Can anyone guide me on how to change the path or resolve this issue? I would really appreciate any help!Although, if someone knows how to use TOUCHGFX with the Makefile as a toolchain (selected option in cubeMX instead of IDE), please let me know!! I do

Hi, I'm newbie to Motor Control workbench(6.3.2) . I have STM32 G431RB and IHM08M1.I want to control the position of BLDC (42BLFX01E). This motor has 3 Hall Sensors.  I successfully run the motor using motor profiler and implemented the speed control. Now for position control when i selected my IHM08M1, STM32 and relevent motor in FOC Wizard. I can only select Torque and Speed Control. Is there any way to implement position control without encoder ? Thank you

Hello all.I would like to ask how to calculate dB from a data recorded by a MEMS microphone.I currently use the MP34DT04 on the SensorTile Kit. I checked the SensorTile can record sound with the microphone, and store a wav data file in MicroSD.In the .wav file, there are chunk of data and, of course, there are sound level data. Then, I would like to calculate dB data from the sound level data. How can I calculate? If the sound level data is 16 bit, the data would be in between -32768 and 32768. Is the digit can be mapped to full scale sensitivity? The sensitivitiy means the parameter in the datasheet. In the case of the MP34DT04, the sensitivity is in the range of -26dB to 120 dB.I also wonder what the description in the page 6 of the datasheet means. It says "Duty cycle: min = 40% max = 60%". Is it related to the dB calculation? Please take care yourself first, and looking forward to the answers. Thanks in advance. Masaru

Hello All, I am facing a problem with NFC reading with ST25DV64KC-DISCO board. To integrate the SDK, I have followed the instruction over here Even though I have imported all of the SDK files, and supporting files as well (including models, protocols and utilities). But this same code detects the tag in original project, but in my project it fails to type cast to original form.In specific, I get problem with following code in from "ST25DVMailboxManagementViewController"The following condition fails in my code, but succeeds in iOS NFCTap App.  if (!(st25SDKTag is ST25DVTag || st25SDKTag is ST25DVCTag)){}  Did anyone face something similar?Any leads will be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, I am trying to switch the screen throuch code in touchgfx.If I use SwitchScreen, how shall I state the argument (screen* newScreen)?If, for example I want to switch to Screen7. Shall I call the function with SwitchScreen(scr7)?where scr7 is declared as follows:ScreenView7 scr7;

Hello everyone,I have setup my stm32 to use interrupts and have enabled them to work on spi1 and all 4 i2c ports. The relevance of the i2c ports is that they run continuously and may call the interrupt service routine while the spi one is being called. To isolate this possibility I have disabled interrupts for the spi callback. At the start of the main of the stm32 slave I call   HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_IT(&hspi1, tx_buff, rx_buff, size);   From a Raspberry Pi I am sending from 0 to 95 in a single transaction while simultaneously reading the bus. The stm32 receives the data as expected (which I have checked in debug mode) but sends nothing in response. I have checked the miso port with a logic analyzer and you can see in the photos. This is the SPI callback   #define BYTES_PER_BUS (8*3) #define BYTES_I2C4 ((6-2)*(3)) #define RPI_PACKET_LEN ((8*3)+((2)*3)) uint8_t spi_rx_buffer[RPI_PACKET_LEN] = {}; uint8_t spi_tx_buffer[RPI

Steps Taken So Far1. Downloaded the X-CUBE-NFC6 expansion pack on the STM32CubeIDE (Have already set up the project for my dev board)2. Configured the pins under platform settings for the expansion pack. I presume that this is where I have gone wrong. I can provide further information as required. But one thing I had verified is that the SPI communication between the dev board and the expansion pack works. (Will attach my entire project under the post)3. When I try to run initialise the NFC using the MX_X_CUBE_NFC6_Init(); function. I am failing this condition and hence my code breaks (i found through debugging)  /* Check if IC Identity Register contains ST25R3916's IC type code */ #if defined(ST25R3916) if( (ID & ST25R3916_REG_IC_IDENTITY_ic_type_mask) != ST25R3916_REG_IC_IDENTITY_ic_type_st25r3916 ) { return false; }  My ThoughtsI am sure that there are multiple steps I may have missed while setting this project up and that's why this whole thing has
