Hi,We are using STM32_Programmer_CLI on windows and linux.I noticed that since version 2.16 following commands fails:STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=SWD freq=8000 sn=x mode=UR -e ed1 & ed2with:Error: The erase command you trying to perform is missing some arguments. Please refer to the Help to see how to use it. It worked fine on version 2.15. I've looked into any api changes for newer version in release notes but I couldn't find any relevant changes that could affect this behavior. For me, it looks like this is potential bug/regression. Let me know if me guess is correct or we need to adjust params added to command.Thx

Is possible to generate different tone using dac peripheral for triangle wave form generation using PCM sample in stm32 nucleo F410RB controller. Is it possible to generate tone using wav data(pcm array).1.If possible to generate need to give wav format or not needed?2. If not which stm32 development board supports dac to generate tones using pcm array's.

Hi all,I am stumped with an issue that looks trivial but apparently isn't really ?This code... :double TMP117ConvertTemperatureToCelsius(uint16_t temperature) { double temp_double = (double)temperature; double multiplied = (double)temp_double * 7.8125f; double converted = (double)multiplied / 1000.0f; return (converted); }Gives with the debugger :- temperature (uint16_t) =2627 (correct)- temp_double (double) = 2627 (correct)- multiplied (double) = 20523.4375 (correct)- converted (double) = 0 (???) And this code... :double TMP117ConvertTemperatureToCelsius(uint16_t temperature) { double temp_double = (double)temperature; double converted = (double)temp_double * 0.0078125f; return (converted); }gives :- temperature (uint16_t) =2626 (correct)- temp_double (double) = 2626 (correct)- converted (double) = 3.0981138548092976e-312 (?????) Have I overlooked something really basic or is something very wrong ? This is a question I never thought I'd ask but oh well :grinning_face_

From a previous question: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32h745-dac2-missing/td-p/750749 So I can get two independent analog outputs using STM32H745?

Hi, I would need dual DAC using STM32H745. According to datasheet, it should have two DAC converters. In STM32CubeIDE, I can see only DAC1 with two channels. In the datasheet, I can only see DAC1_OUT1 and DAC1_OUT2 pins, but no DAC2 out pins. Is there DAC2 available in STM32H745?

Good Morning, I'm using Simulink to develop code for the STM32F767 MCU, however we're looking at moving to a newer micro (STM32H7R318T6). This MCU doesn't seem to be available in STM32CubeMX V6.4.0, which is the officially supported version, so I have 2 questions: - From STMicro's side, is there any reason why a later version won't work with Simulink? I understand if STMicro can't/won't answer this query. - Is there a way of making these more recent MCU's available in V6.4.0 that I've completely overlooked?

hello everyoneI'm having problem with debugging stm32f103 blue pill with Keil 5.39 ans st-link v2 programmer.my programmer work fine when i load code without debug on micro but when i want to go to debug mode, my code run till the line__HAL_AFIO_REMAP_SWJ_NOJTAG();and then go to the reset handler part and when it reach to the BX line in reset handler, micro will be halt and not go further anymore.can anyone help me?

I'm currently working on my custom STM32F405RGT6. I've soldered the minimum systems (STM32F405RGT6 + Necesary Resistor n Capacitor + LED ). I've been able to program the MCU to blink the LED at first. So i start to adding other componentsI've been adding the MIC5504-3.3v LDO by alternatively change the components using AP2112-3.3V LDO. I've compared both datasheets and it should be working properly. Also, i've been soldered the LM7805 Ic too. After soldered that two ic's, i reprogram the STM32. The result is my led now can't working (blinking) anymore, but the STM32F405RGT6 seems had no problem (because it still managed to be debuged and programmed). What makes this happen ?

Hello, I am working with the stm32h7s board. I am developing an interface via Touchgfx designer and embedding it on this board. If I generate via Touchgx designer and upload to the program, I see my design on my LCD screen and my codes are working, but when I try to debug the same project via stm32cube ide, I get this error and when I terminate it, it doesn't work.Do I need to make a separate setting to debug? Can't I open the code created by gfx designer and debug it in stm32cube?Thanks.

Hi,I’m using the STM32L76G evaluation board and would like to work with the CAN protocol. I have a DB9 connector but no slave devices. Could you suggest how I can test and work with CAN in this setup?

Hello,I am working on interfacing an external flash memory IC MT25QL512 with the STM32H745 microcontroller using QSPI in IAR Embedded Workbench. The Problem:When attempting to write data to the external flash using the HAL_QSPI_Transmit function, the operation fails at the following line:status = QSPI_WaitFlagStateUntilTimeout(hqspi, QSPI_FLAG_TC, SET, tickstart, Timeout);Details of My Setup:Microcontroller: STM32H745Flash Memory IC: MT25QL512Development Environment: IAR Embedded Workbench    Has anyone encountered a similar issue with the QSPI_FLAG_TC not being set during a write operation? Are there specific configuration or timing considerations for the STM32H745 and MT25QL512 combination that I might be overlooking?Any debugging tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support!!

Dear Community, I started investigating issues on one old project that based on STML071xB and has been implemented by another engineer. I got confused with implementation of battery measurements. Here is the thing: 1. MCU is directly supplied by a battery (working voltage is expected to be in 2-3V range)2. VREF+ is connected to a battery 3. ADC internal channel is used to measure VDD level Datasheet says that VDD can be measured accurately using internal ADC channel when VREF+ is not connected. Meaning, an internal reference voltage which is 3.0V (bandgap) is used as a reference to measure VDD. But what if VREF+ is connected to a battery voltage, how VDD is supposed to be measured in this case? From my understanding, VDD cannot be measured when VREF+ is used as a reference since it will be giving nearly maximal raw values on ADC output. What is the most confusing part is when I use external supply to power the device and change output voltage I see accurat

Question about SPI communication intervalWe are using HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive to achieve SPI communication, but there is an interval of some us after the SCLK outputs for 8 bits. Is it possible to change this interval time?

Hi,I tried booting the STM32F103C8T6 via UART following the boot configuration details from the AN2606 document provided by ST. I have outlined the configuration below. After setting up the boot configuration, I attempted to connect the STM32's UART using a TTL converter and the STM32CubeProgrammer software (Win64, versions 2.18.0 and 2.5.0). However, I encountered some issues, and I have attached a snippet showing the error.I also tried connecting an STM32L562E-DK board, but I faced similar issues.Could anyone help identify what might be going wrong? Your suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi ST,Using the vl53l1x in our devices we are finding some cases of unexplained sensor distance changes.  Large changes. We use the sensor in a contained/controlled environment.  A bin -- the sensor is used to measure distance to items contained in the bin.We have seen some cases where the sensor behaves normally and then,  unexplained,  it spikes way up.  From 100mm to 2meters  measurements for instance. Powering off and powering on brings it back to normal. We are unsure where to start looking here so wanted to ask first here.  What might be possible causes of this? Thanks,Will

I am trying to receive CAN FD and save the data to the SD card, but I am having a problem . Create and deliver an event structure in HAL_FDCAN_RXFifo0Callback, Receive the structure from the application area and call HAL_FDCAN_GetRxmessage. In this case , RxFIFOFULL accur . IF HAL_FDCAN_GetRxmessage is called from callback, RXFIFOFULL does not occur.  However i want to keep the callback statement as short as possible , Also idon't understand why tihs is a problem in the first case. The place where HAL_FDCAN_GetRxMessage is called is cantoQueue().  There is no problem if place this function in  callback rather than app()       .

Hello,I use the TIM5 on the NucleoF401 to compare 4 different moments with the CCR1 to CCR4 registers, However, all the interrupt flags seem to get set at the same time, I have added the initialisation and the interrupt handle for the timer belowI set the ARR value to 1,000,000 and have set all CCR1 values to be CCRx > ARR, this should have the effect of not triggering an interrupt ever until CCRx < ARR and CNT = CCRx This does not happen. As the interrupt flags are constantly set and reset for all CCRx registers. causing the interrupt to fire constantly. it seems to be that the interrupt flags are set when CNT = ARR, causing all CCRx register interrupt flags to fire at the same time. void HAL_TIM_OC_DelayElapsedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim){ if (htim->Instance == TIM5) { // Ensure the interrupt is for TIM5 switch (htim->Channel) { case HAL_TIM_ACTIVE_CHANNEL_1: // CCR1 triggered HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_10, GPIO_PIN_SET); TIM5

Hi,I am working on two STM32 microcontrollers communicating over UART with baud rate 9600. The functional requirement states that I need to transmit and receive data at both microcontrollers. Currently this is not happening as the transmit and receive interrupts conflict I suppose. Please guide me for this problem statement.

I am supposed to be receiving 8-bit data with even parity.  The blocks are defined with a header of 'F0', this is S.Bus data if anyone knows that that is.  I setup a simple program that just does receive data.  I get data but nowhere does it show an 'F0'.  Am I supposed to use 'LL_USART_ReceiveData8' or 'LL_USART_ReceiveData9' to read this data?  Is the parity supposed to be read with the data and discarded?  It's not at all clear how the parity is handled.

Hi, I am trying to stream ADC data to ethernet RJ45 port along with synchronized timestamps. Currently I am trying to figure out the following problems: 1. How can we synchronize ADC data with timestamps? The STM32 tutorial uses DMA, which I assume directly put the ADC samples to the memory but guarantees no synchronization with timestamps.2. How can we stream the data out through ethernet port? The H7 boards datasheet says the RJ45 port is connected with the MCU using "RMII interface" - however, I wasn't able to find anything related in the STM32 tutorial. Are there any existing libraries? I am using an STM32H723ZG evaluation board. Thanks!
