Hello Community,I'm using an STM32G474RE MCU with FDCAN0 to set up CANopen communication for a sensor node device. The setup is designed to cascade multiple sensor devices on the same CAN bus, each with a unique node ID, so they can transmit data independently.Currently, I have two devices connected in a simple cascading configuration, both operating as CANopen nodes with different IDs. No CAN master or analyzer is connected, as these sensor nodes are meant to operate autonomously on the bus. Here is my FDCAN initialization code:   void MX_FDCAN1_Init(void) { FDCAN_FilterTypeDef sFilterConfig; /* FDCAN1 parameter configuration */ hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; hfdcan1.Init.DataPrescaler = 12; hfdcan1.Init.NominalPrescaler = 12; hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg1 = 13; hfdcan1.Init.DataTimeSeg1 = 13; hfdcan1.Init.ClockDivider = FDCAN_CLOCK_DIV1; hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = EN

Hi,We want to use the Type C connector with STM32 as "STM32 USB2.0 host conversion for USB Type-C platforms" for 5V, 500mA application. We have got one application circuit in STM32 application circuit. (Fig 11)Introduction to USB Type-C® Power Delivery for STM32 MCUs and MPUs - Application noteIn this circuit, RP1 and RP2 pullup resistors are pulled up to 5V and connected to ADC pins. But, the ADC pins are 3.3V compitable. Can you please let us know is it fine to Pull up the ADC pins to 5V rail?.Thanks.

Hello,  I wanted to create new project in CubeIDE (1.13.2, 1.17.0) for STM32G0B1RE but there is some bug after confirmation of licence. CubeIDE is getting close and uninstall from windows, too. That's crazy behavior. Is there some general problem with pack for stm32G0? The configuration is not possible to generte for this, only *.ioc file exist in project.

I want to make Websocket Client in STM32CUBEIDE and I am using NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q Board, I have completed the Program with Ethernet, LWP and FREERTOS.I would like to know if it is possible to implement websockets on the NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q Board.Does anyone have a successful example of implementing websockets on the NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q Board?

I need to have USB PD connectivity so I am using the examples provided. There are SNK and SRC and DRP examples. However, they all use the TCPP which is also included in all of the 3 demo boards. I don't see any way to disable the TCPP component itself and keep using the X-CUBE-TCPP middleware because it seems there is a library file provided that has the TCPP manipulation within it and I can't edit that file.Is there any recommended strategy for developing a USBPD application on the STM32G071 that does not include the use of the TCPP hardware? I can uncheck the Board Part and the Board Support package but then I don't get good code generation. Thanks

I was wondering if it is even possible to use the secondary USB port 'USB' in order to write to a USB flash drive? If so, what is a good starting point to begin learning the process(es) to do so?

Hi,I'm using Nucleo board with Stm32CubeIde and HAL library.I have a periodic interrupt every 10 ms and I want to acquire data from 8 sensors with I2C bus each with a different address. At the interrupt output I must already have all the data to copy into a circular buffer. For I2c requests I want to use DMA. So I start eight requests at the same time, what I want to know is if the callback DMA interrupt is called in the same order as the request to have the correct data. If not, how can I solve this problem?Thank you in advanceDomenico

I want to be able to run on battery and turn on the BLE to advertise for 5 minutes then stop. After some time, I want to be able to turn on advertising again. I'm able to initially start the advertising and start the timer to stop advertising. However, I can't seem to find a way to wakeup CPU2 to start advertising again.I'm using the function to start a 5 minute timer to stop the advertising:HW_TS_Start(BleApplicationContext.Advertising_mgr_timer_Id, gAdvertisingConnectionTimeout);Once the timer expires it calls Adv_Cancel() which stops the advertising, aci_gap_set_non_discoverable(). Since the Sequencer is IDLE, it sends the CPU2 into Stop2 mode. What are the steps to get it out of the Stop2 mode and start advertising again?

Hello,Since the latest release of CubeMX (6.12.1), I have been encountering syntax errors related to the "FLASH.ld" file. This issue only arises when I generate code while setting the Toolchain/IDE to CMake. I am using STM32H753IIKx. It seems that CubeMX does not specify which RAM to use when setting the Toolchain/IDE to CMake.I have also included the FLASH.ld file that was generated for your reference. Thanks for your help.

When I try to write to stm32h742vgt6 using stlink-v3minie, Target is not responding, retrying... and cannot write. The same microcontroller can be written to the board on which it is mounted. In the same program. What are the possible outcomes in this case?Is it just a bad solder or something else, or can you give me a few possibilities?Thank you in advance. symptoms↓Failed to reset target.Target is not responding, retrying...Waiting for debugger connection...Debugger connectedWaiting for debugger connection...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...

Hello, I am having trouble connecting my nucleo board to my pc because the port is not being recognized. I downloaded the st-link 009 usb driver without any problems but when i connect the board the com port and the device doesnt show up. In the description it says its compatible up to Windows 10 but I read on other forums that people with windows 11 did get theirs to work. I'm not getting errors its just not showing up. What am I missing?

Hello guys, I am working on project to update the STM32G070 over the air. So basically I receive the binary on ESP32 and then forward the binary over UART to the STM32. I have used pattern 11 to enter the USART Bootloader of the STM32. Then sending the 0x7F to get in synchronization with the STM32.By only controlling the BOOT0 Pin I cannot enter the USART Bootloader. By pulling the NRST Pin and the BOOT0 Pin I can enter the USART Bootloader successfully . So is it possible to enter the USART Bootloader without hardware reset ??

Hello,I am facing reset problem when I am waking up from Sleep mode. I am using WWDG in Software mode.APB1 Frequency as 40MHz. COnfiguration of WWDG:hwwdg.Instance = WWDG;hwwdg.Init.Prescaler = WWDG_PRESCALER_128;hwwdg.Init.Window = 127;hwwdg.Init.Counter = 127;hwwdg.Init.EWIMode = WWDG_EWI_DISABLE; I am calling MX_WWDG_Init function after initialization of peripherals and functionality needed. Then I am refreshing it in while loop of main function.1st Tested Scenario:While entering sleep mode I just refresh the WWDG. Then by waking up from sleep mode by push button, I am getting reset and it's started from main function again instead of Re-init function.2nd Tested Scenario:While entering in sleep mode, I am refreshing WWDG first, then disabling APB1 clock and after thatwhen I wake up from push button I am enabling the APB1 clock. In this scenario I assumed that WWDGclock should be stop in sleep mode and it should resume after wakeup. When controller wakes up by pressing button, I a

Hello I'm evaluating B-G431B-ES1 design. As I don't have accurate specifications for the motor, I'm going through motor profiler. If I use SDK 5.4.8, profiling seems to work. At least, the motor turns. If I use SDK 6.3.2, profiling whistles while keeping the "startup beep-beep" but the motor never starts. Before that, I built a firmware with the motor profile option activated. What did I miss?ThanksJulien

Hello, on STM32WB is it possible to use shared RAM for the user app?For example, I have the following on my STM32WB15CC:FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 162K RAM1 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000008, LENGTH = 0x2FF8 RAM_SHARED (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20030000, LENGTH = 10KDoes that mean unused RAM above the last object (APPD_GeneralConfig) can be used by the user app?

I am working on a project using USB HS with:STM32U595VJTSTM32CubeIDE 1.14.0STM32Cube_FW_U5_V1.4.0Using the init code, as generated by CubeMX, I was getting HAL_TIMEOUT returned by USB_CoreReset():MX_USB_OTG_HS_PCD_Init() -> HAL_PCD_Init() -> USB_CoreInit() -> USB_CoreReset()After looking into example applications, e.g.:STM32Cube_FW_U5_V1.4.0/Projects/NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-Q/Applications/USBX/Ux_Device_CDC_ACM/Core/Src/stm32u5xx_hal_msp.cthe problem turns out to be a missing call to:__HAL_RCC_SYSCFG_CLK_ENABLE();CubeMX code does not generate it.The application example has it in the "USER CODE" section: void HAL_PCD_MspInit(PCD_HandleTypeDef* hpcd) { RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInit = {0}; if(hpcd->Instance==USB_OTG_HS) { /* USER CODE BEGIN USB_OTG_HS_MspInit 0 */ __HAL_RCC_SYSCFG_CLK_ENABLE(); /* USER CODE END USB_OTG_HS_MspInit 0 */ This seems to be specific to chips with USB HS (U595, U599, U5A5, U5A9).As the USB is not usable without it, can this missing c

Hello, We propose using Teseo-LIV3FL to design a new product. This part is selected because it supports Differential GPS (SBAS) and Real-time AGNSS.Please let us know if LIV3FL supports NAVIC (IRNSS). If not, can we upgrade the firmware to support NAVIC?

This started last week and is making it take 30-60 seconds to load and save my workspace. Also, the top menu bar containing the items for File, Edit, View, Debug, Project ... is missing! I can do Alt+F and Alt+P but I'd like it restored.Right clicking a toolbar shows an endless list of choices. Sure enough if I open the workspace .WED file which is 700k it contains all these entries:[WorkState_v1_2.DockState]Bars=1192.....And 1192 childbar entries! If I delete this file after closing the workspace, these all return when I load and save again. Something is corrupted and I can't find anything in my files or registry to fix either issue. The other 3 workspace files appear to be fine. This is making it hard to continue my work. I've already switched to the STM8 from NXP S08 and I do not want to switch again because of the quality of the tools.

Hello. Recently I received an STM32U5G9J-DK2 board which I purchased earlier this year. I want to ask for the Out-of-Box Demo of this board for backup since I find it really stunning and I want some reference for my own TouchGFX GUI application design. So, where should I go for asking? Or is this demo available in source project or binary file or neither makes sense? Can I, as a student, be able to get a binary file version of it?Looking forward to your replies. Thanks in advance.

Hi all,Where can I download older version of stm32cubeide? I need 1.13.1 to 1.4.1 and version for linux. Thanks a lot.

Hello. I have been using STM32CubeIDE for a long time where I did not really need to bother about make or any other tools to build my projects since everything is already prepared for you within the STM32CubeIDE for the ease of use.My OS : Windows 11I wanted to learn more about make and how it works. Perhaps in the future we would make a switch to make as our main toolchain to build the projects as it might be more universal.I have followed 3 steps:1. Install MSYS2 (make)2. Install gcc-arm-none-eabi-10.3-2021.10-win323.
cd
into my project directory and run command:mingw32-makeIt tried build the project and I got the following error:   C:\Users\petrikas.lu\Work_no_sync\stm32_make_test\stm32_make_test>mingw32-make mkdir build arm-none-eabi-gcc -c -mcpu=cortex-m4 -mthumb -mfpu=fpv4-sp-d16 -mfloat-abi=hard -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER -DSTM32F407xx -ICore/Inc -IDrivers/STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver/Inc -IDrivers/STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/Legacy -IDrivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32

Hi together,I am working with the STM32WB55 and connecting it with different configurations to Homeassistant via Zigbee2mqtt.The Zigbee2mqtt auto generates a config file with the available endpoints etc., that looks like this:const definition = { zigbeeModel: ['STM32WB'], model: 'STM32WB', vendor: 'STMicroelectronics', description: 'Automatically generated definition', extend: [light({"color":true})], meta: {}, };Since I plan to configure different MCUs with different endpoints, I need to change those identifiers to make them unique to Homeassistant. Where are those identifiers or names set? I could not find this in the documentation. Thanks
