System versions macos 15.1.1 stm32cubemx 6.13, stm32cubeide1.17. When I generate code using cubemx and select stm32cubeide in the toolchain, an Eclipse prompt box will pop up, indicating that The Eclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library, I have replaced several recent versions of stm32cubemx, but the problem still exists. Have you encountered similar situations? Can you provide a solution? I'm almost going crazy with my Mac

Can someone please explain to me how this is even possible on the same device? They are the exact same device yet I can not seem to get the same pin config in different projects. The one project somehow got the PIN Layout where PB6(SCL) and PB7(SDA) is the I2C1 BUT on the other exact same device the I2C1 operates on PB8(SCL) PB7(SDA)?When I run the I2C1 on the PB8(SCL) PB7(SDA) config it works fine. When I run the I2C1 on the PB6(SCL) and PB7(SDA) config it does not work. When I try and reconfig my PB6(SCL) and PB7(SDA) to be PB8(SCL) PB7(SDA) then I can not set PIN8 on the AF register....

Hello,I click the https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stm32cubeide.html  link to download STM32 Cube IDE，and file name is "en.st-stm32cubeide_1.17.0_23558_20241125_2245_x86_64.exe.zip", MD5 is "157232C6532A28921F12A5E2A368253B". But when i unzip this file, the 7zip note that End-of-file error.I removed the.zip suffix manually and now the file suffix is.exe. windows says that the application cannot be installed. Please help me install this software correctly.- windows 10, x64- RAM is 32G BR,Yang

I downloaded version 1.15.1 of the STM32 IDE, but when I start a new project and select the STM32F103C8T6 as the MCU, the first image appears. However, when I try to update the firmware, it asks for a login, and the second image appears. I have searched in several places and realized that this is an error that can occur since versions 1.12/1.13. I have tried changing the network connections to active provider (native, manual, and direct), but it doesn't work. (I'm not sure how the manual one works, but I also saw that it's not good to keep using manual mode). Does anyone have any suggestions? The same problem occurs in STM32MX, and I have also tried changing the internet connection. (First image)(second image)

Hi, I want to send a simple message through UART and check if message is properly received at Rx end. I want to do loopback test. I connect PD5 to PD6, namely short circuit. Then I run the below code. When I debug the code, I can see only the first byte is received. I tried many ways to fix it but cant find out the root cause, eventually cant resolve the issue.I am looking forward to hearing some help. I am using smt32wba52cgu6 MCU in my project. In this project i want to use SD card module but since the module has no FAFTS middleware in STM32Cube Mx as well as in STM32cube IDE. I am using the libraries available in the git hub for fafts (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-mw-fatfs) in IAR embedded workbench but there is problem while uploading the code (i.e. run time error). Please guide me how could i do that and properly insert these libraries in my program or if i am wrong please share me how to go properly.

(translated)I encountered the exact same problem. I2C and SPI can be used independently. When used together, SPI cannot communicate, but I2C works fine. After commenting out the I2C initialization, SPI can be used normally. The chip model is STM32F103CBT6. My current product doesn't work properly~, it seems I need to change the pinout.   EDIT by ST Moderator: Post translated in English and moved to a new thread with right labels, instead of re-posting it in an old thread that doesn't have the same problem.

I'm in trouble with the high err rate of ADC123_IN1 in "STM32 Nucleo-144 development board with STM32F756ZG MCU".I've purchased two of the same thing, and both of them have trouble in ADC123_IN1.I had tried 4 channels: ADC123_IN1, ADC123_IN4, ADC123_IN8, ADC123_IN2, but only ADC123_IN1 has high err rate.Could you tell me how to get ADC value accurately.I attached ADC measurement results just in case. Hi,I am looking for hardware reference design source files for STEVAL-ESC002V1 board. Is it available to speed up the design activity?Thank you for your kind attention and immediate response Sincerely,Raj

Back in May of 2022, I purchased a number of BlueNRG-LP-DK development boards (STEVAL-IDB011V2-C) for Bluetooth Low Energy development.  Things went fine (in a manner of speaking of course) .Recently I tried to use these boards with its RTC (Real Time Clock) configured with the LSE (Low Speed external) / 32.768 KHz Oscillator and I simply could not get the RTC configured with the LSE Oscillator to work.   What I mean whenever I tried to configure the LSE/ 32.768 KHz Oscillator as the source for the RTC, it was as though the RTC had nothing hooked up to it.Before anyone asks, I did use the Periph_Examples -> HAL -> RTC sample code provided by ST extensively and stepped through a lot of HAL code. Here are my two (simple) questions: 1) Was there anything peculiar about this particular batch/lot/vintage of BlueNRG-LP's regarding the RTC that anyone knows about?  Given I previously had hardware problems with the PDM microphone on that board vintage, I was

I am using the STM32H743ZIT6 MCU to enable USB CDC. In my schematic, I have not defined the VBUS pin; I have only defined the CDC lines. Can I still use CDC without the VBUS pin? Below is the photo of my schematic for reference. Please help me.Thank you for your assistance.

I am trying to comunicate a stm32F103C8T6 with an STM32F446 over I2CFirst thing I try to do is send data as master from F103 and I get NACK by F446Here is logic analyzer's screenshot:And here is F446 configuration on CubeMXI don't get why is it sending NACK when address is correct. When trying to do the opposite (F446->F103) it sometimes throws BERR error or same thing happens, NACK with correct address

Hi:When I try to download the latest stm32cubeide windows version from https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stm32cubeide.html,I can only download a file which name is en.stm32cubemx-test-v20.zip. its URL ishttps://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/software/sw_development_suite/group1/4c/84/ee/44/1e/72/47/9d/stm32cubeide-win-test-s3-5/files/stm32cubemx-test-v20.zip/jcr:content/translations/en.stm32cubemx-test-v20.zip.

Hello,I'm using the STM32F407 board. I'm trying to implement FreeRTOS on a smart parking system but when using the RFID i need to define SysTick_Handler two times. How can i resolve this problem.

There are error displays (red markings) in the following cases:STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.12.1STM32H743VIT6SYSCLK <= 240MHz (actually, for any frequencies from 225.5 to 240MHz)HPRE Prescaller = 1 There are no errors in cases where HPRE >= 2, for example, for SYSCLK = 480MHz.Please see the screenshot

Hi all I am using STM32F407 and trying to configure both CAN1 AND CAN2 so I want to understand a concept hope you people can help me. CAN1(MASTER) and CAN2(SLAVE) . I want to achieve operation to send data from one can to another and vice versa.  NOTE: In my STM32F407 reference manual FILTER register is only configurable for CAN1 not for CAN2. I have few doubts one by one I will mention. 1. for CAN1's filter configuration what should be the value for slave filterbank I should select. 2.If CAN2 doesn't have filter configuration so how it will receive the data(will it receive every ID because we cant configure filters). PFA attached from STM32F407 reference manual image. B.R Ash

Hi all I want to understand configuration for CAN1 and CAN2 in a single board. Can you suggest me example code ? B.R Ash

Hi,i created a project to connect the STM32F407VGTX by USB High Speed to a PC. It is enumerated as a Camera in the device manager. When start the windows camera app or VLC the videostream (Format MJPEG 400x240 pixel) starts. I use two picture toggeling. I can close and open the camera app without any problem when DMA is disabled (usb_otg.c):hpcd_USB_OTG_HS.Init.dma_enable = DISABLE; Problem:When I enable the DMA:hpcd_USB_OTG_HS.Init.dma_enable = ENABLE; It works only the first time. When the camera app is closed and start again it seems that the messages are not send. Here a link to the complete project:mkoenig334455/USB_Video_MJPEG: USB_Video_STM32F407VGTX_MJPEG example USB and VIDEO class (github.com) I attached the Wireshark file so you can see the commmunication. Thanks a lot for your help! STM32F407VGTXPHY USB3310STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.14.0STM32CubeMX Version 6.10.0

HelloController - STM32H745We are using an external QSPI to store the application image. Currently we are flashing the image using JTAG and .stldr file as an argument to cmd ln utility STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe When I pull the boot0 pin HIGH I am able to load the internal flash. Is there a possibility to flash the external QSPI using USB-DFU method?I tried this cmd but it didn't work and help section of the STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe is not clear about this topicSTM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=USB1 pid=0xDF11 vid=0x0483 -w "%FW_FILE_PATH%App-CM7.hex" -v -el "%FW_FILE_PATH%qspiflashLoader-CM7.stldr"

Hi, I am a newbie with STM32. I need help.I want to configure that PA15 pin (which by default is used as JTDI), as a GPIO output.I've added the following two lines to the beginning of the generated code of MX_GPIO_Init():LL_GPIO_SetAFPin_8_15(GPIOA,LL_GPIO_PIN_15,LL_GPIO_AF_5);LL_GPIO_SetPinMode(GPIOA,LL_GPIO_PIN_15,LL_GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT);But it does not work. I connected a LED and tried to change the state of the pin high and low,but it did not work.I appreciate if someone help me to figure out what I am missing. Thanks

Get error message "Code generation could not be done because the necessary firmware package is missing. Not able to complete STM32Cube project creation."When Creating STM32Cube Project and then giving Finish will result the followingAlso when downloading and unpacking software packages I get error when unpacking stm32cube_fw_f4_v1241.zipIf I select V1.24.0 package I get the same error (Problem during Unzip stm32cube_fw_f4_v1241.zip)When I manually unzip v1.24.0 and v1.24.1 to different folders (like screen below) I still get Code Generation error.I am usingSTM32CubeIDE V1.1.0Nucleo-F446RE board

Hi all,I have the CPU STM32F103 on board. I am using STM32CubeIDE for SW development and STM32CubeProgrammer for burning. On some point during development, I couldn't burn the CPU anymore - I get various types of error messages, like 'Can't erase the memory', 'Core is halted' or the green bar (which indicates burning process) runs goes and back endlessly.Yet sometimes I succeeded to bun it by using tricks, such setting port BOOT0 to VCC and using option  OB --> Readout Protection to erase the memory and only then to program. Or alternatively pressing the on-board reset button and starting the programming immediately after releasing the button.Unfortunately these trick are not always working, and off course are not acceptable as solution.I wonder what happened to my design. Is there any solution?Any help will be very appreciated.

I am trying to get started on Linux kernel development on STM32MP157F-DK2 board. Thus far I have been able to,1. Flash the started package and get Linux booting successfully2. Download the developer package, add extra logs and update the linux kernel on the boardI am trying to get started on kernel drivers and was not able to find linux headers in the sdk include path. I am getting linux/init.h as not found.I tried to update the include path by adding the headers from the linux source code from the developer package but am facing a lot of include errors. I tried looking for a way to download the linux headers for the openst linux image online but wasn't able to find any so far.I have the following queries,1. Can someone provide a way to download the linux headers for cross compilation?2. If possible can someone share a simple wiki/example of a custom kernel module/driver on the openstlinux. Thanks in advance.

Hi all and merry Christmas! It's Christmas time again and therefore it's time for me specifically to work on my private projects. I want to build up a rather complex device running on ThreadX and just wanted to play around with ThreadX trying to understand it. But I'm struggling even on a simple setup. The current state of my code is:- one main thread created from the .ioc file by CubeIDE with priority 10- 2 user threads coded by myself using same priority (11) etc.One of which is a simply blinky, the other one is sending a string on USART2 interface- 1 interrupt triggered by an EXTI (Pushbutton) sending a string on USART2 interface Both user threads are designed with a while loop as it was the way given in all examples I found and I also noticed that without the while loop, the entry-function is run once only (of course also with the while loop it is triggered once, but due to the while loop always repeating).I'm having issues understanding the scheduling of ThreadX I think. I do h
