Solved

Hello everyone,  I'm currently trying to set up the two ADCs (ADC1, ADC4) on my NUCLEO-U545RE-Q for multi-channel continuous conversion via GPDMA (I've previously used an L4+, but intend to change to the U5 family for the final product and am using the NUCLEO board to test the migration). I have - to the best of my knowledge - replicated the ADC and DMA settings I've used successfully on my L4P5CE on the U545RE's GPDMA and both ADCs, however ADC1 and ADC4 seem to have slightly different "architectures" (for lack of a better word), so I've - again, to the best of my knowledge - replicated the settings on both as best I can. However, while this works with ADC4, I'm not getting any data on ADC1.Thing I have tried (without success - only ADC4_res_buffer is getting new data): - enabling/disabling the ADC and GPDMA interrupts- different ADC clock frequencies- Swapping the channels between the ADCs (ADC1 Ch1/2; ADC4 Ch3/4 or ADC1 Ch3/4, ADC4 Ch 1/2)- enabling/disablin

We want to trigger two conversions from the same EXTI (EXTI11).Basically rising edge on GPIO B11 should trigger ADC12 conversion and MDF (sigmadelta) Is it possible?

Greetings Everybody, I am trying my hands with CAN FD. I have selected STM32C092RC for the same application as it has can fd port. I was wondering if MCP2561/62 can fd transiver ic works with this controller. Please advice. I was also looking for schematic and cad resources for NUCLEO-C092RC board, but cant find. If anybody has the link for cad resources and schematics for NUCLEO-C092RC board then please do forward it. Thanks in advance.

Hallo Everyone,i am kindly new on STM and i am starting with some Basics programming stuff using a Ubuntu PC and  the NUCLEO-F401RE. However after installing the Ubuntu Version with the "STM32CubeIDE Debian Linux Installer",  i started a new Projekt and i configured the Pins, and after that when i tried to generated the the code files it did'nt work at all. In the Projekt Folder there is just one ioc file to be see and nothing else. I tried "Project-> generate Code" but nothing, also "Help -> STM32Cube updates" nothing changed. Has anyone an idea of what  could help me here! Kinds regards

I've been experimenting with STM32F765VGT6 (custom board made by a colleague) and STM32F769NIH6U (on a STM32F769I-DISCO). Please correct me as soon as you see a mistake.I did not "play" a lot with the F769. As long as I did, everything seemed as expected.I'm focused on the F765 now, with which I have problems. Both MCUs Option Bytes are configured in 2 banks mode : nDBANK is unchecked.  Flash size :- the F765 has 1 MB :- the F769 has 2 MB Bank 2 start address, as from RM :- F769 : 0x08100000- F765 : 0x08080000 Problem : I found it impossible to flash my code at 0x08080000 on the F765.STM32CubeProgrammer returns :15:52:48 : Opening and parsing file: MCU_F765_LwIP_NoFreeRTOS-0.1.0-0x08080000-0080E10666A0.bin15:52:48 : Memory Programming ...15:52:48 : File : MCU_F765_LwIP_NoFreeRTOS-0.1.0-0x08080000-0080E10666A0.bin15:52:48 : Size : 120.95 KB 15:52:48 : Address : 0x08080000 15:52:48 : E

Hi,I am using the STM32U5G9VJT6Q and in CubeMX I configured the clock to the full 160MHz for all busses including the core (first screenshot). According to the documentation for 160MHz I need to set 4 Wait States for those speeds and VCORE voltage needs to be in Range 1 (second screenshot). Two questions if someone could please help:1. after setting the clock in MX, where can I check that the wait states have been set correctly (in MX - not programmatically, debug or other ways) ?2. in MX, where do I set the VCORE? If it is set automatically, where can I check that it is set correctly (in MX - not programmatically, debug or other ways)?Thank you :)Ricko

I'm working on a project that's using an STM32G484CEUX. The WRP2A and WRP2B registers are not showing under the FLASH peripheral of the SFRs tab:The device is running is dual bank mode.I have added them to the .svd file, but I think they should already be there?Edited to correct grammar.

Hi everyone;I have select; In cube mx ->middleware and software packs -> CMSIS -> CMSIS Coremiddleware and software packs -> CMSIS - DSP middleware and software packs -> X Cube Algobuild -> DSP LibraryLater, I have select from software packs -> select components -> ARM.CMSIS 6.1.0 -> CMSIS Core and CMSIS DSP Source and X cube algobuild DSP Library. In keil, manage run time environment ı have select core and dsp source there is no dsp library and i have 991 errors for dsp library. Could you help me please, thank's a lot.

Hi,I am working with the STM32WB55MMG and have configured the system clock to run at 32 MHz. Could you please confirm which Voltage Scale setting is required for this configuration? As per the reference manual,Voltage Scale 1 supports up to 64 MHz.Voltage Scale 2 supports up to 16 MHz.Since 32 MHz exceeds the limit of Scale 2, does STM officially recommend using Voltage Scale 1 at 32 MHz?Additionally, if there are any recommended low-power optimizations for running at 32 MHz, please advise.Thank you.Best regards,[Sai Ganesh CS]

hello every oneI'm working on a STM32WB35 custom board with full ble stackwhat could cause C0 rf controler to stops advertising when going in stop2 mode?to get focused on my bug I've build a simple app that use tiny LPM as ble_heartbeat exampleexcept that I dont have any advertising frequency change I have no custom apptest purpose is to init ble stack start advertising and then go to stop 2 mode and advertise like this for everI'm allowing stop2 mode as soon as we finished APP_BLE_Init() function  BleApplicationContext.BleApplicationContext_legacy.advtServUUID[0] = NULL; BleApplicationContext.BleApplicationContext_legacy.advtServUUIDlen = 0; /** * Start to Advertise to be connected by a Client */ Adv_Request(APP_BLE_FAST_ADV); /* USER CODE BEGIN APP_BLE_Init_2 */ UTIL_LPM_SetStopMode(1 << CFG_LPM_APP_BLE, UTIL_LPM_ENABLE); //DUMMYTSK_Init(); /* USER CODE END APP_BLE_Init_2 */ return; }  Enter and Exit LowPower functions are sames as BLE_heartbeat exem

We checked the P2P communication and was successful in communicating between ST25R3918 and ST25R3916B.Is it possible to measure the P2P RSSI in the same way using rfalGetTransceiveRSSI()?In the case of NFC tags, we can get the RSSI based on the call back timing, but with P2P, we can't get it, so please let me confirm. We use P2P demo is available in the ST25 embedded NFC library (ap2p_proprietary folder). and NUCLEO-L476RG .also see a Re: Peer to Peer Communications between ST25R3916B... - STMicroelectronics Community

Hello! We are using ST25R3916B in our new NFC-based access control product. We use NFC-A and T4 communication for Mifare Classic, Desfire cards, and Android NFC apps. The STSW-ST25RFAL002 with the following configuration seems to be using around 8KB of additional RAM.  Is there any chance of reducing memory needs?  #define RFAL_FEATURE_LISTEN_MODE true /*!< Enable/Disable RFAL support for Listen Mode */ #define RFAL_FEATURE_WAKEUP_MODE false /*!< Enable/Disable RFAL support for the Wake-Up mode */ #define RFAL_FEATURE_LOWPOWER_MODE false /*!< Enable/Disable RFAL support for the Low Power mode */ #define RFAL_FEATURE_NFCA true /*!< Enable/Disable RFAL support for NFC-A (ISO14443A) */ #define RFAL_FEATURE_NFCB false /*!< Enable/Disable RFAL support for NFC-B (ISO14443B) */ #define RFAL_FEATURE_NFCF false /*!< Enable/Disable RFAL support for NFC-F (FeliCa) */ #define RFAL_FEATURE_NFCV false /*!< Enable/Disable RFAL support for NFC-V (ISO15693)

Hi ,I am using STM32WL33 in my design and just received my first PCB assembled.i am trying to flash the board with basic program but no success yet , it would be great if you can help to find the problem.i have tried with both CubeIDE and Cubeprogramer with STlink V2 , seems like debugger is connected but not going to further steps .here is the screen shotsi have used same ST linkV2 and setup in another board (STM32WLE5) and i can connect.  schematic:  I checked the SWDIO, SWCLK, VDD, GND and NRST pin connection to ST link it looks okayI checked the voltages VDD : 3.3V, VCAP:1.2V , NSRST:3.3V , VFBSD(SMPS output):1.4VNo pullup resistor in NRST and PA10 pin is floating.Circuit is design based on ST reference designAny help is appreciated //Karthik

Hello everyone,I'm currently working on a project involving condition monitoring, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance using sensors that only provide a voltage measurement (e.g., a speed sensor which outputs a proportional voltage). I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience or has worked on similar projects involving such sensors, particularly when it comes to using them in these areas of predictive maintenance and anomaly detection. If you have any advice, examples, or ideas on how to handle this type of sensor data effectively, I would be very grateful. I'm especially interested in learning about any techniques or algorithms that can be used to detect anomalies or predict failures based on voltage signals alone.Any tips or insights on the topic would be highly appreciated!Thank you in advance for your help!Best regards

Hi,I upgraded CubeIDE to V.18 but when creating a project from an IOC file it could not generate any code because the micros packages are missing. It said to log into MyST but there is no Login option where it previously was (see screenshot below). How do you do that in V18?Thank you

"I want to download the STM32MP2 Developer SW Package.By visiting the page on the wiki (https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stm32mp2dev.html#get-software) and accessing the download link below, the file that opens is not 'SOURCE' but 'SDK(en.SDK-x86_64-stm32mp2-openstlinux-6.6-yocto-scarthgap-mpu-v24.11.06.tar.gz)'.Where can I download the SOURCE?My location is South Korea."

I am porting the ST25R3911B NFC module library to work with the Quectel EC200U 4G module in the Helios SDK. While I have successfully achieved rfalNfcInitialize and rfalFieldOnAndStartGT, I am facing issues when running the NFC-A polling code. The execution gets stuck inside the while loop mentioned in the callback of the ISR.Observed Behavior:The module sometimes gets stuck in the ISR loop, with the interrupt pin remaining high even when no NFC-A card is near.Occasionally, instead of getting stuck, it throws RFAL_ERR_IO.In rare cases, it does not throw any error but gets stuck as soon as an NFC-A card is brought near.ST25R_SELFTEST_TIMER and ST25R_SELFTEST pass without any errors.Polling Code: while (1) { rfalNfcWorker(); MYLOG("Checking NFC \n"); err = rfalFieldOff(); /* Turn the Field Off */ if(err != RFAL_ERR_NONE){ MYLOG("Error in rfalFieldOff: %d\n", err); } platformDelay(500); err = rfalNfcaPollerInitialize(); /* Initialize RFAL for NFC-A */ if(err != RFAL_E

Hello,I am using the Nucleo-STM32F411RE development board and X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 NFC module, particularly NFC Tag read/write from Android Phone for my development use cases. To achieve this, I downloaded the X-CUBE-NFC6 package as it was mentioned in the product brief. However, I could not find any example projects specifically for the STM32F4 series.I also attempted to modify examples from other STM32 series, but I encountered faults and was unable to successfully run the code.Could anyone provide a working example for the STM32F4 series, or share a step-by-step user guide? As I am new to STM32 MCU boards, this has been quite time-consuming, and any guidance would be greatly appreciated.Thank you for your help!Best regards,Akash M

Hi everyone, I have purchased a STMicroelectronics STEVAL-CTM015V1 drive. How can I find its default firmware code (Current chopping control for switched reluctance motor) in  STM32CubeIDE workspace? I would like to get connected with the people already working with this product. Thank you, Regards

I use cubemx generate a project with uart5. It's ok.But when I move some init codes of uart5 to function ``void SystemInit (void)`` tail as below```MPU_Config();HAL_Init();SystemClock_Config();PeriphCommonClock_Config();MX_UART5_Init();dbg_console_tx5("ABC21", 5);``` when I debug with cmsis-dap debugger I found the code stuck with besides the function ``dbg_console_tx5`` is ``` void dbg_console_tx5(const uint8_t *pData, uint16_t Size){HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart5, pData, Size, -1);}``` is there any tips of this issue ?

I have implemented AES encryption / decryption on a STM32WB55 using keys stored in FUS. However, I'm running into a problem when I try to encrypt or decrypt using a non-FUS key. I get a hardfault when the key is written to the registers. Which I assume is because the FUS user key is still loaded. AN5185 defines the command FUS_UNLOAD_USR_KEY but there is no corresponding implementation in shci.h/shci.c. I implemented my own version of SHCI_C2_FUS_UnLoadUsrKey using SHCI_C2_FUS_LoadUsrKey as an example. But CPU2 is saying that is an unknown command. What is the process to unload a key that is stored in FUS and / or use the CRYP peripheral with a non-FUS key after previously loading a key into it from FUS?

I'm migrating a project from STM32G431KB to STM32G431CBT6. Both projects were generated using STM32CubeMX and are developed in Keil (MDK ARM), so I only transferred the user code. However when debugging code on the new chip, random breakpoint commands in the disassembly window appear (not the user-defined red dots, but the BKPT mnemonic specifically). It's always first 3 times between _sys_open and _sys_close, then one time between _sys_istty and_sys_seek and another one between _sys_write, _sys_read, then my program runs normally. I tried a full chip wipe, code regeneration, code rebuilds all without any luck. I'm guessing there might be a setting I forgot somewhere that could cause this or a library from CubeMX, but so far I haven't been able to figure out what it could be.The CubeMX software packs I use:Selected features:

Hello !Hope you're all doing well.I have a little problem here, my CAN BUS Tx is not working on "Normal Mode"I have a bus with several nodes communicating between them without any problem, so the bus itself is not the problemIn "Loopback mode" it works wellIn "Normal Mode", the Rx works but the Tx doesn'tI used an stm32F429 and an stm32F103, and the problem is the same in both MCUsI also tried different CAN transceivers, same problemAny idea why it behaves like this?Thank you :D

Hi, I am trying to find the Part Marking for M24C08-RDW6TP.Is there any datasheet for it? I already reviewed the datasheet but there is no any note for it. Thanks in advance.

Hello, @Andrea VITALI,After using the WESU board (https://community.st.com/t5/mems-sensors/lsm6ds3-lis3mdl-calibration/td-p/762534)we decided to move forward with the sensor tile box PRO. We want to record human activity recognition and pedometer information in the SD card, with a timestamp. We managed to record HAR and pedometer information separetly, on BLE or in a SD card file, but :* If we add the RTC value (for timestamp) to the HAR example, we got the message FLOW_COMPATIBILITY_ERROR* If we enable pedometer, adding gyroscope and accelerometer (60Hz, same as HAR example) in input, add HAR in function, there is no data in the SD card (only header in the csv file), and no updates in Bluetooth (event when SD_Log is updated in log status)Is it possible to get timestamped HAR + pedometer data in a SD card file ?Bonus : if We can also log raw data (ACC, GYR, MAG + BARO) at 240, 100 and 1Hz, that's will great. For now, we can't use this eval board for our need.PS :&nb
