Hi all,I'm trying to understand how can I use this ST lib to activated interrupt if accelerometer data ready. I already use this lib but I don't use interrupt mode, right now I'd like to try it.So if I understand well I have to use int32_t lsm6dso32_pin_int1_route_set(const stmdev_ctx_t *ctx, lsm6dso32_pin_int1_route_t *val) I've find it in the datasheet :. Write INT1_CTRL = 01h // Accelerometer data-ready interrupt on INT1 in Startup sequence part 4.1, so if I want to activate the interrupt I have to write 0x01 in INT1_CTRL register, but I'm little lost to how to use typedef struct { lsm6dso32_int1_ctrl_t int1_ctrl; lsm6dso32_md1_cfg_t md1_cfg; lsm6dso32_emb_func_int1_t emb_func_int1; lsm6dso32_fsm_int1_a_t fsm_int1_a; lsm6dso32_fsm_int1_b_t fsm_int1_b; } lsm6dso32_pin_int1_route_t; and typedef struct { #if DRV_BYTE_ORDER == DRV_LITTLE_ENDIAN uint8_t int1_drdy_xl : 1; uint8_t int1_drdy_g : 1; uint8_t int1_boot : 1; uint8_t int1_fifo_th : 1; uint8_t int1_fifo_

I downloaded Cube Power Monitor and am trying to use it to connect to the LPM01A. I have downloaded and installed the W8 version of the virtual com port driver. I can select the board in the drop down menu, but when I hit "Take Control", a dialog box pops up with the message `error pwr get`. When I hit okay, another pops up with the message `Get current range command failed` with another message below it `ERROR TIMEOUT`. Hitting ok again gives yet another dialog box with the message `Board has been released due to connection issue. Please unplug and plug the board`. I've tried unplugging and plugging it back in and the same thing happens. I am currently on Windows 11, but I've tried on a different windows 10 machine and the result was exactly the same. Any help would be appreciated. Please also take a look at my other question for something that might be related... having lots of issues with this board so far...

Hello,I have a STM32F777 with ST7789 Display controller over SPI.To write the Framebuffer i have the following code: void TouchGFXHAL::flushFrameBuffer(const touchgfx::Rect& rect) { // Get Framebuffer Address uint8_t* frameBufferAddress = (uint8_t*)HAL::lockFrameBuffer(); // Calc start address uint8_t* fbPtr = advanceFrameBufferToRect(frameBufferAddress, rect // Set window DisplaySetWindow(rect.x, rect.y, rect.width, rect.height); // Start DMA Transfer DisplaySendDataDMA(fbPtr, rect.width * rect.height * 2); // Wait for DMA Transfer end if (osSemaphoreWait(DisplayTransferSemHandle, osWaitForever) == pdTRUE) { HAL::unlockFrameBuffer(); HAL::flushFrameBuffer(rect); } } I can't build the code because the function advanceFrameBufferToRect() is defined as inline but without implementation in the header. The implementation in the source file is not accesible with the inline statement.How can I fix this error? Is the code above correct?Thanks for your r

Hi,I have a c++ file with a table of utf16 c style strings encoded as utf16. I need this file to be encoded as utf16 for the compiler to understand correctly the 'special' characters. In IAR, it was super easy as the compiler could read both utf8 and utf16 files.It seems however that cubeIDE only handles utf8 encoding. Is that true? Is there a work around? Moving my table from utf16 to utf8 would really annoy me…Thanks in advance

Hi,Release notes for STM32MPU ecosystem v4.0.0 mention “Add support of Firmware Update feature?. Is there anymore information available on this feature? Or is it utilising an existing Yocto swupdate layer?Any additional information would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I was curious on the operation of the tearDownScreen function in regards to local variables created in the screen views hpp file. If I create a Struct A in screenview, and pass it by reference to the presenter then to the model, is this recommended against since tearDownScreen would get rid of the struct A? Is it recommended to dynamically create the Struct A in the screen view then delete it in the tear down screen function after sending it to the model?

Hi,I am using STM32G0B1VET6 on my custom board. I want a delay of 0.2 and 0.3us. Hence I have used timer 6 to achieve this delay. But my program leads to crash when API - HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT(&htim6) is executed.My settings for Timer 6 are as follows: My clock configuration is as given below:Generated code:static void MX_TIM6_Init(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM6_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END TIM6_Init 0 */ TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM6_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END TIM6_Init 1 */htim6.Instance = TIM6;htim6.Init.Prescaler = 0;htim6.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP;htim6.Init.Period = 13;htim6.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_DISABLE;if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim6) != HAL_OK){Error_Handler();}sMasterConfig.MasterOutputTrigger = TIM_TRGO_RESET;sMasterConfig.MasterSlaveMode = TIM_MASTERSLAVEMODE_DISABLE;if (HAL_TIMEx_MasterConfigSynchronization(&htim6, &sMasterConfig) != HAL_OK){Error_Hand

This might be *** question but I have to ask as as I'm a biginner... I want to interface ST25r3916 with STM32F072xx without using BSP package and HAL. I'm currently using bare metal embedded c. I've been trying to change rfal_Platform.h file which I think I got right. is it possible to write the code from scratch since the example code is generated by MXCube??

Hi!I'm creating an i2c-slave using a stm32g0-series. There are two types of messages that need to be supported, a write-then-read, and a write-only.The write-then-read starts with a write-message of a register address of the slave device (1 byte). This is followed by a repeated start condition where the master writes the data to the register address.     The write-only starts in the same manner, but in addition to the register-address, a number of bytes (depending on the register) are also written to the slave. IFAIK these are fairly common ways to do reads and writes. The write-then-read messages work fine with the use of HAL_I2C_Slave_Seq_Receive_IT (receive one byte) and HAL_I2C_Slave_Seq_Transmit_IT (transmit n bytes). My problem arises when the first message (write) can either be one byte (write-then-read) or multiple bytes (write-only). The way I see it, I either have to detect if the repeated start condition has happened (one byte has

Hi All!I have an application where I am designing a PCB for an STM32 MCU. However it requires a faster ADC than the integrated one. I am thinking about using the AD9057 by analog devices, using parallel interface. I want to ideally read as fast as possible each sample, and transfer data to memory using DMA. My question then is, what is the fastest/most elegant way of doing this, and what is the easiest way of doing this? Could one for example use PA0 to PA7 as GPIO inputs and read them simultaneously and transfer the data using DMA or CPU at 20 MSPS? Is is fast enough? I am open to any suggestions! I would love examples too!Could one use FMC? How would one configure it?Best regardsNOTE: I am trying to avoid using FPGA

I am configuring a NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-Q with SDMMC (1-bit) but no FATFS seems available in Middlewares in STM32CubeMX 6.13.0 for this board?Has FATFS support dropped?

I designed my board using the STM32L476RGT6. However, when using the ST-Link via SWD, I get the following message:Error: No STM32 target found! If your product embeds Debug Authentication, please perform a discovery using Debug Authentication.I have checked all connections and voltages, and everything is correct, with the proper 3.3V values.I am sending the schematic and a photo of the programmer.Note: I did not solder the VCAP capacitors, and there is no voltage on these pins.

Hi, I have an application that should trigger an interrupt on a falling level signal. For argument sake, let's say that I expect it to trigger about once a second. Now, when I run my code, it triggers(the EXTI12 ISR) more like 30 times per second. I have measured the level signal, and it is flat but the ISR for some reason still triggers. Attached is the scope plot of my level signal. I have a Debug IO PIN toggling plot as well. you can see, I ran this over 3s and my scope had 3 captures, from my analogy this means the level signal cannot be the cause ?. This is my code in the ISR(I have a bunch of other ISR's in here)Continued: then I exit: Detail: I do trigger another ISR using Software I don't know if this can have an effect .The code for this is below:  My ISR subroutine consists of multiple IF statements for me to run specific code when other Level Signals go Low/High. Here is a debug IO Pin toggling, Which is how I know

Hello. I need help to identify this ST component. I can see the ST logo top left. Text is like this from what I see:"ST      (some marking)   G CHG3      648"

Hello,In previous touchgfx releases, we all know that partial framebuffer is limited to 20 lines. Now with touchgfx 4.25, is it possible to increase it? If yes, how can I do it?In addition, I tried to increase "Block Size" in .ioc file, however it still sends only 20 lines. It does not use remaining block size. I need a clear example.Thanks!

Trying to export LQFP144 pinout to Altium CAD models with cubeMX.  But CubeMX is trying add pin #204 #202 #158, etc, on symbol for an L471 micro that doesn't even come in packages  bigger than 144 pins.  Altium chokes on this symbol, I imagine that's because the foot print only has 144pins.See screenshot below.  Will attach .ioc file if possible.

New to CAN here,Is it possible to configure the same CAN peripheral (CAN1) on an STM32F4 to receive messages from one node in RXFIFO0 and from another node in RXFIFO1?The reason for this setup is that one of the nodes has a higher priority and I would like to separate the messages accordingly. If this is possible, how should I configure the CAN filter settings to achieve this?

I'm developing Autosar OS for multicore project for SR5E1 MCUOS needs to know which core is running.But I can't find any register which contain this infomation.Anyone know how can I GetCoreId with SR5E1 MCU?

Hi Engineer, I purchased the part STPSC20065WY, and I found the pins of STPSC20065WY are oxidized with rust stains and have scratches. Could you suggest whether this is normal, and they are good to use?   Thanks a lot, Suri

Title edited to reflect the correct board used. Changed from NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q to NUCLEO-H7S3L8.Hi,I’m trying to set up UART communication using UART3 on the NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q board. I have the UART3 pins (PD8 and PD9) connected to the ST-Link VCP on this board.Do I need an external USB-UART converter to communicate through other UART pins, or should the onboard ST-Link handle the UART3 communication through VCP?It's showing USART3 is not available. I’m new to this board, so I want to confirm if there’s anything I might be missing in the configuration or connections. Any guidance would be appreciated!Thanksin advance!

I am new to FreeRTOS ( RTOS in general, although I am very familiar with baremetal) and am following along with this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdpgqpuPSyQ&t=4s I am using a STM32F3DISCOVERY board so I had to make some minor tweaks to follow along, seemingly just pin numbering. I am using the default pin configurations and clock configuration. I am using TIM6 as Timebase source. I cannot seem to figure out why my LEDs are not blinking. I created a baremetal project to confirm the config of the pins is good and there I can get them toggling. I see the TIM6 CNT incrementing and wrapping so that is working. I tried to use breakpoints to see if I ever get back to my task and aside from the first hit during initialization, I never get back.Not sure what I did wrong, but it appears my tasks only occur once and then terminate but I cannot figure out why. Any tips on how to debug this? Thank you

 In STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.17.0 Build: 23558_20241125_2245 (UTC) (migrate from FW_H7 V1.11.2 to FW_H7 V1.12.0), the ADC3 initialization code generated from the .ioc file is missing the resolution setting. Specifically, the line hadc3.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; is not included, even though the resolution was configured in the .ioc file. As a result, the generated code for ADC3 initialization appears as follows, with the resolution parameter omitted:    /** Common config */ hadc3.Instance = ADC3; hadc3.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_ASYNC_DIV1; hadc3.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCAN_DISABLE; hadc3.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SINGLE_CONV; hadc3.Init.LowPowerAutoWait = DISABLE; hadc3.Init.ContinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc3.Init.NbrOfConversion = 1; hadc3.Init.DiscontinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc3.Init.ExternalTrigConv = ADC_SOFTWARE_START; hadc3.Init.ExternalTrigConvEdge = ADC_EXTERNALTRIGCONVEDGE_NONE; hadc3.Init.ConversionDataManagement = ADC_CO
