I am having and issue with a STM32H725RGV6.After powering my board, I can see the SMPS output at 1.36V, which I have connected to the VCAP inputs.I can also connect to the µC using the STM32CubeProgrammer.However, after flashing a simple firmware, the SMSP output drops to 0V and I can not connect anymore. I am aware that this can be the result of an improper SMPS configuration (https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/unable-to-connect-to-stm32h7-devices/ta-p/49296). However, in my (cube generated) project am am callingHAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply(PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY)so this should be correct. Additionally, I tried to upload a program with nothing but an infinite loop in main, and the problem still occurs. When pulling BOOT0 high, the SMSP output becomes 1.36V again and I can connect again. This makes me believe, that everything is set-up correctly hardware-wise. Otherwise, the bootloader would not run. thank you for your help

I wish to decode the output of the JPEG accelerator using the DMA2D controller from YCbCr to RGB, as referenced here:https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/training/technical/product_training/group0/d7/07/45/76/c2/f9/41/4f/STM32H7-Peripheral-JPEG_codec_JPEG/files/STM32H7-Peripheral-JPEG_codec_JPEG.pdf/_jcr_content/translations/en.STM32H7-Peripheral-JPEG_codec_JPEG.pdf I am using an stm32h7 nucleo board. In the DMA2D configuration menu I have set transfer mode to "Memory to Memory with Pixel Format Conversion". My problem is that in the foreground layer configuration, the input color mode drop down menu does not show YCbCr as an option. Do I have to set it up manually or is there some other way to configure DMA2D for this use case? For manual setup, are there any extra steps I should consider other than simply replacing the input color mode field to YCbCr? Do I need to consider any changes to the pinout?I have checked and in the source files there is a macro for YCbCr input mode.

hi, I wanted to ask,I saw that the micro STM32H562 datasheet has a new DTS digital temperature sensor. I wanted to ask :1.what is linearity of this sensor?2.what is its max error?3.what is the level of accuracy?I see that it is new so I wanted to check if it is worthwhile and safe to use it already?thank you, Liraz Abramovsky.

Hey, I´m working on implementing all 3 CAN bus interfaces on a F767ZI. Looking through the Reference Manual it states that dual CAN set ups feature 28 filter banks and single CAN set ups feature 14 filter banks. However looking at Table 280 it states that CAN1 and 2 share 26 filter banks and CAN3 has 14. Is the 26 a typo or is the number actually limited on this MCU?//Andre

Hello,I am now using STM32CubeMX to config STM32G030F6P6, I want to use TIM14 to capture pulse, so I configged to Input Capture direct mode, which is obviously input port, but GPIO setting becomes GPIO output Low. is this a stm32cubeMX bug?please confirm.Thanks@GMA

Hello, I am currently working with the STM32H7S78-DK board using STM32CubeIDE for setup. I have connected four external buttons to the following pins: D2 (PF1), D4 (PF2), D7 (PF3), and D8 (PF4) on the board. I have configured the buttons as external interrupts. However, while I am able to detect button presses in the main loop by polling the GPIO pins, the interrupt does not seem to trigger the HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin) function. Steps I have followed: - Configured GPIO pins (PF1, PF2, PF3, PF4) as interrupt inputs in STM32CubeMX.- Enabled the interrupts in the NVIC configuration.- Implemented the HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback function in the code.- Used GPIO_MODE_IT_RISING for interrupt triggering.Despite the above configurations, the interrupt Callback is not being invoked when the buttons are pressed. Here I attached some snapshot of configuration and code i have write.   /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ***************************************************************

Hi community, after searching quite a long time for a bug on my board I found it. It was due to an unclear phrasing of the stm32f411's datasheet in table8/p39: for the QFP64 package pin 13 is not only vref but also VDDA.It would be much clearer to write VREF/VDDA in that row.  Regards

あなた:Hi, I'm developing audio recording system uinsg DFSDM of STM32L4. The microphone sound is converted to digital by external ADC and the converted data is sent via SPI to DFSDM. The problem is that the external ADC provides data but it has setup delay from rising edge of CKOUT and the data for DATIN isn't available at the time of riging edge of CKOUT. Is there any way to delay read timing of SPI so that it can wait setup delay? The setup delay of external ADC is about 58ns.

Hello, I'm configuring an STM32WB55CEU6 in STM32CubeIDE and am setting up the BLE part now and I noticed that the IDE only let's me setup 5 characteristics per service.  In my application (a remote control) I need about 15 characteristics.  Is there a way to increase that number?

Hello ST Team,I'm trying to bring up I3C using a NUCLEO-H563ZI with XNUCLEO-IKS4A1 to boards stress I3C, and I'm using AN5879, which was thought for NUCLEO-H503RB and X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 boards.Regardless of the above, I still believe we should be able to work with these boards as they are I3C compatible, and the XNUCLEO-IKS4A1 is marked as the new alternative for the X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 board.I'm following AN5879 to introduce myself to I3C (and the entire STM32CubeIDE ecosystem), and I have found issues adding the extra code stated on page 31 (software settings for dynamic addressing).Where precisely should these lines be introduced? For the four code blocks, I can identify the second and the fourth ones belonging to the main.c file. What about the first and third blocks? For the first, it seems I should create a new header file stm32_i3c_desc_target1.h, but even when creating this file and adding a reference in main.h the compiler struggles to find "TargetDesc

Hello,   On one hand, I built an app that uses I2C, 2 UARTS, ADCs, captures PWM, provides PWM. All of them rely heavily on the use of DMAs. This app gives good results without any apparent issue. On the  other hand, I built a test app on the same target to drive a display using LVGL 9.2.2. It seems to work too.   So far, so good... Now I put both together: the result produces an hard fault with STKALIGN and UNALIGN_TRP bits set. I suspect an overflow somewhere. As the app is pretty big, I started to strip the code as much as possible while keeping the hardfault. Stripping code allowed the app to be compiled without optimization hoping this will help resolving. This leads to a single module that is provided below. Some elements:- app is pre-configured using CubeMx.- in the provided code, nearly any change will make the hard fault disappear (at least for minutes, I don't have the oppportunity to let the app run for hours for each change I did).- pwm capture and pwm outputs

How do you enable Auto-Activiation for Content Assist with typing any character? And how do I disable hiding of Content Assist as soon as the current filter would show an empty result?Technically Ctl-Space works, but it's annoying. I'm used to a fast user interface with automatically displayed Content Assist.

I do have this demo program in which main.c is disabled so it would start from main_pinpong.c which is the only file withint main( void ){included in target build startup_stm32l476xx.s is supposed to be the startup file but I do not see any reference tomain.c or main_pinpong.c I see that main.c is not included in target build but main_pinpong.c is includedso they question is what points the compiler to execute int main( void ) from main_pinpong.c

Hello, I'm new to STM world, so I'll post what may seem a trivial question to many, but which is not totally clear to me: I'd like to understand better the behavior of the micro controller in a situation like:/* Configure ISR on UART RX */ /* Enter Critial Section */ uint32_t primask_bit = __get_PRIMASK( ); __disable_irq( ); /* Do stuff */ /* !!! ISR occurring on UART RX !!! */ /* Do other stuff */ /* Exit Critial Section */ __set_PRIMASK( primask_bit ) Is the ISR totally ignored by the micro controller or the IRQ associated to the ISR is executed right after line 12?I understand that __disable_irq() works on the I-bit of the CPSR register, which disables IRQ interrupts globally, so my guess is that the NVIC may take trace of the ISR occurrence until the core has re-enabled the I-bit of CPSR register (line 12).Is this a correct interpretation or is it misleading? Also in case the IRQ of UART ISR is responsible of re-configuring the interrupt enable bit in UART registers, is

Hi!!I am using ThreadX to develop a project. As far as I know, when using FreeRTOS, it is highly recommended to switch from SysTick to another timer. Is it the same for ThreadX?Therefore, I am using TIM7, which is a simple timer. I was wondering where I can find the TIM7 base function that is called every tick. I want to include a function there, but I cannot find it. Thanks!

We are planning to use STM32H753X in one of our design. For JTAG interface I can see two options 5 pin and 4 pin JTAG. Is STM32H753 supports 4 pin JTAG? If yes, how to manage NJTRST pin? Shall i connected NJTRST pin to NJRST?  what is the use of 5 pin JTAG over 4 pin JTAG?

Hi allWe are using STM32WB55 for BLE application. By default, the TX power is added to AD data structure. Got to know that we can use this below API to remove the field from advertisement. ret = aci_gap_delete_ad_type(AD_TYPE_TX_POWER_LEVEL);Is there a way to completely remove the TX power from AD structure? So, every time I start the advertisement, I don't need to explicitly remove the TX power parameter.

Hi,The part# M95M04-DWDW3TP/V Marking is SM4W3, is it correct? because i unable find the marking info from datasheet for this part, please see the photos of product below, thanks.

Hi, I tried to read signal from ultrasonic parking unit by capturing PWM input. Signal has one start pulse 530 Hz width (1.87 ms) and a sequence with 0 and 1 (9.942 kHz and 4,97 kHz) period between pulses sequences is about 193 ms. I use STM32F103 blue pill board with external 8Mhz quartz oscillator. My clock config:   void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; /** Initializes the RCC Oscillators according to the specified parameters * in the RCC_OscInitTypeDef structure. */ RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEState = RCC_HSE_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEPredivValue = RCC_HSE_PREDIV_DIV1; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSIState = RCC_HSI_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLSource = RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLMUL = RCC_PLL_MUL9; if (HAL_RCC_OscConfig(&RCC_OscInitStruct) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }

I am using the STM32HUB50xBT6 development kit with TouchGFX. When enabling USB as Full-Speed (FS) and programming it with `USBH_PROCESS_STACK_SIZE` set to 4096, I face an issue where the allocation of `MSC_Handle` fails in the lower layers of the `usbh_msc` file. The debugging print message shows "cannot allocate memory for MSC handle," and this occurs within the `USBH_MSC_InterfaceInit()` function. Can anyone help me in thisThanking you in advance.

Hi everyone,I'm working on a product that involves multiple sensors connected to a main system. Up to six sensors can be attached (see image). The overall diameter of the system (as shown in the image) is approximately 20cm. I want to use NFC tags on each sensor to identify the type of sensor (including ID and other details) when plugged into the system. The sensors are eventually connected to another system via cables. The sensors only output current (and are supplied with voltage) – so, two wires ( + - ). The identification of the sensors (reading the NFC tags) will then be transmitted from my system to the main system.I've come up with two antenna concepts (see image) for this purpose:A single large antenna for all sensorsIndividual antennas for each sensorWhich approach would work better? Does anyone have experience with this? I'm particularly interested in how the NFC performance would differ between these two antenna configurations. In the version with multiple antennas, I was thin

Hello.I have a project on TouchGFX Designer, in a view (called routing_channel) i have a ScrollList with a container that i use as template.I am doing the scroll with hardware buttons, my goal is, get the index value from the items of the list and pass this value to container. How can i pass values from view to container? example:ScrollListitem1item2 < Selected this item, now i want to pass his index value to the containeritem3If my goal isn't clear enough, i can provide more details. Thanks!

Attached SVG image with vertical gradient renders correctly in TouchGFX Designer 4.24.1, but not in the simulator.In simulator the gradient is horizontal in landscape mode and vertical in portrait mode.Edit. SVG attachments are banned, but renaming it to TXT is banned too so my attachment wasn't attached."The attachment's gradient.svg.txt content type (text/plain) does not match its file extension and has been removed."So I've attached it as source code:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?> <!DOCTYPE svg PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD SVG 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/1.1/DTD/svg11.dtd"> <svg width="400" height="100" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <defs> <linearGradient id="grad1" x1="0%" y1="0%" x2="0%" y2="100%"> <stop offset="0%" stop-color="yellow" /> <stop offset="50%" stop-color="green" /> <stop offset="100%" stop-color="red" /> </linearGradient> </defs

I have implemented a dual CDC-ACM USBX device, and would like to incorporate a mechanism to programmatically differentiate the two ACM's at the Host.  One mechanism would be to have each ACM carry with it it's own Serial Number, but I am at a loss as to how to do this.  The best way (I think) would be to incorporate a unique String Descriptor Table for each device.  Please give me a hint as to how to do this!
