Hi, I'm using an STM32F103C8T6 blue pill board with st link programmerand I want to print a single string hello world Can we do that with st link or we do need something else to do it ?thank you for helping

Hi, I bought a module of STM32F103C8T6 with a 0.96" LCD. I managed to find the LCD library in Keil MDK. However, I am checking of anyone has successfully ported to STM32cubeIDE?Thanks.

I am using a Bluepill Board but it is not functioning as expectedHow do I verify if the chips on my Bluepill Board are genuine or a fake knock off?

Hey there I'm new to develop STM32 software ,my setup is 2 dev kits with bluepill cards ADC sensors buttons etc (they ll use same code and comunicate each other ), I have doubt on Uart COM, because I see a problem on PA2_EX_CRONO and PA2_EX_ADC which I cant receive data from 2nd kit and code stucks on that part of process , there is an example of video what happens and the code requirements list:a.1) From the MCU RESET, test to see if the displays (4x7-SEG) are working on the shield. The test should turn on all display segments and their decimal points: and remain that way; a.2) Also from the RESET, the program should trigger an increasing timer; a.3) and should also trigger an ADC converter that samples continuously, we will read an analog value on pin PA0. The ADC sampling rate will be 5 samples / second. b) Whenever you press button A1 (PA1) on the Arduino shield, the 7-SEG display alternates the timer and ADC value every 4 seconds (2v/4s: 2 values/4 secs => timer for 4s, ADC for

First and foremost, as of this point I know virtually nothing about these MC's but through this project, I'm hoping to learn. What I'd like to get some assistance on is just a few basic pointers and perhaps direction so that I'm not chasing my tail. The project is to enable an instrument cluster from a slightly newer vehicle (2003) be used in a slightly older vehicle (2002). Most of the gauges will work by simply re-pinning the connector, but there are 2 gauges that require a PCM swap and tuning to get working, the volts gauge and the oil pressure gauge. As best I can tell, both the 2002 and 2003 rely on Class 2 serial data, interpreted by the PCM, to feed these 2 gauges. So I want to bypass the PCM, have this data from sensors feed into this hypothetical module I want to build, which will then correctly display the data I want to see on these 2 gauges.I hope this clearly explains the goal and the hurdle that exists. So what I'd like some input on specifically is how best to go about se

Hello STM32 Community,I’m currently in the research phase of a project where I’m using the STM32F103 "Blue Pill" with a SIM7600E module to send sensor data to an MQTT broker over 4G. I’ll be handling the communication via UART and AT commands. My question is: should I build my own library to manage the SIM7600 and MQTT communication, or is there an existing library or resource that could help? I’ve searched but haven’t found anything solid yet, which is why I’m reaching out.If anyone has experience with this setup or knows of a library, example code, or any useful resources, I’d greatly appreciate it!Thanks in advance!

Hello! So i would like to ask for a little help. The STM32 is kinda new for me, i always did stuff on Arduinos. So i have a LoraWan E5 wich i want to program with ST-Link V2, but as soon as i want to connect to it (to the st-link) in the STM32CubeProgrammer i get the errors below. How would I be able to connect it?

i have this problem https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-boards-and-hardware/error-in-initializing-st-link-device-reason-18-could-not-verify/td-p/314096 that ,  attach chip  photo  it doesn't look like a counterfeit chip   Open On-Chip Debugger 0.11.0+dev-00443-gcf12591 (2022-02-09-13:33) [ST Internal]Licensed under GNU GPL v2For bug reports, readhttp://openocd.org/doc/doxygen/bugs.htmlInfo : Listening on port 6666 for tcl connectionsInfo : Listening on port 4444 for telnet connectionsInfo : STLINK V2J39S7 (API v2) VID:PID 0483:3748Info : Target voltage: 3.201051Info : Unable to match requested speed 8000 kHz, using 4000 kHzInfo : Unable to match requested speed 8000 kHz, using 4000 kHzInfo : clock speed 4000 kHzInfo : stlink_dap_op_connect(connect)Info : SWD DPIDR 0x2ba01477Info : STM32F103C8Tx.cpu: Cortex-M3 r2p1 processor detectedInfo : STM32F103C8Tx.cpu: target has 6 breakpoints, 4 watchpointsInfo : starting gdb server for STM32F103C8

I am trying to perform bare metal ADC in stm32 BluePill board using STLink V2 programmer. When debugging I get this error. Dear STMicroelectronics Support Team, I am writing to report a critical compatibility issue in STM32CubeMX related to user profile paths containing non-ASCII characters (e.g., Turkish characters like "Ö"). This issue prevents the software from functioning correctly after the first launch and causes persistent errors in subsequent sessions. Issue Details User Profile Path:My Windows username contains a non-ASCII character (Öxxx), resulting in the default profile path:C:\Users\Öxxx\.stmcufinderC:\Users\Öxxx\.stm32cubemx Observed Errors: STM32CubeMX fails to initialize properly on the second launch. Temporary Workaround:Creating a new Windows user with ASCII-only username (e.g., "Omer") resolves the issue, confirming that the problem stems from non-ASCII characters in the profile path. Requested Fixes/Improvements Unicode Path Support:Update STM32CubeMX to fully support Unicode/non-ASCII characters in file and directory paths. User-Defined Data Directory

V SWITCH_MIN (VLXx)is measured below the the absolute maximum rating on datasheet (-0.5V).However this limit is momentary ony (7.2 ns) as shown on the measurement.Usually datasheet specifies the minimum DC limit and minimum limit during transient value.Minimum limit during transient is not mentioned in datasheet.Could you assist in evaluating if the transient votlage of -1.40V on VLXx for ~7.2 ns is acceptable.Current situation:V SWITCH_MIN does not remain <-0.5V for longer than 10ns. (-1.4V for 4.2ns)Evaluate if this situation is acceptable.VLxx is -1.4V for about 7.2ns Zoomed out view of switching node

@TDK wrote: They're not made using STM32CubeMX. There should be an internal reason of this decision but it does not seem reasonable for a customer viewpoint. An expert ST staff could easily done this for all of us. Anyway, at least we have an example. Thanks for your time... New question moved from this original thread.

Hello, We have been using this Processor for very long time in our 2 project stream. We are planning to use this part again, but for application suitability we need to verify this product as per our requirement. So, i wanted to ask is there any Evaluation board available for this part, STM32G0B1CET6N

Hello ST team,I am using the full API for the VL53L1 TOF sensor, and I noticed that there are two versions of the full library available. One library (en.STSW-IMG015 VL53L3CX_BareDriver_1.2.10) is named vl53lx_api.c, and the other library (STSW-IMG019 VL53L1CB_BareDriver_6.6.18.2652) is named vl53l1_api.c. My understanding is that the library with "vl53lx" in the name should be a universal library that works with all TOF sensors, right? Both of these libraries seem to work with the VL53L1 TOF sensor. Our product aims to be compatible with both the VL53L3 and VL53L1 sensors while saving Flash space. Is there any risk in using the en.STSW-IMG015 VL53L3CX_BareDriver_1.2.10 library to drive the VL53L1 sensor?Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hi All,Is there anyone knows why sample projects do not include a .ioc file ?Are not these project generated with CubeMx ?https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7/tree/master/Projects Regards.

I am wondering if ST could add a 3D model of the STLINK-V3 MINIE itself to the "CAD Resources". Currently, there are only STL files for ST's enclosure, but it would be helpful to have the 3D model of the PCBA itself to design other enclosures.

Hello every one .this is my first post so excuse me if i do something wrong.I try to establish Uart Asynchronous line between two stm32f303k8 .one of them use basic timer to send 8 byte uint buffer every 200 mili-sec and the other use HAL_UART_Receive_IT first in the "/* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */"and circularly recall it again in HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback.So my problem is that after the first reception i get overrun error and when i enable overrun in the CubeMX i see that after the first reception the first byte are the last byte of the previous message and all other bytes are shifted right .**I attached image of   my  UART configuration (same for both of them)Sender variables :uint8_t m_tx_buffer[8] = {0}; uint8_t flag = 0;  Sender while(1):  if (flag == 1) { flag = 0; HAL_UART_Transmit_IT(&huart1, m_tx_buffer, sizeof(m_tx_buffer)); m_tx_buffer[5] ++; } Receiver variables : volatile uint8_t s_rx_buffer[8] = {0}; uint8_t s_tx_buffer[8] = {0}; u

Please check the figure below,  as request by our customers, we need to update the test report every 2 years. But the test report we received before the molding compound was supplied by different supplier, can we know if it's due to different assembling site (ST & Amkor) ?  Or there is a PCN of material change for this part.

Hello,I am using a EVSPIN32G4-DUAL board to drive a 48V BLDC motor and using an encoder for speed feedback. After a week of troubleshooting I was able to determine why my motor project could not achieve speeds above 700 RPM. The board has RC lowpass filters on the encoder / Hall sensor lines. The capacitor is oversized (1nF) and gives a lowpass cutoff frequency of about 16kHz. For comparison, my encoder with 2500 pulses per revolution spinning at 700 RPM yields about 29kHz. So at and above 700 RPM the encoder signal was becoming attenuated by the filter and could not be detected by the microcontroller.I was able to solve this by removing the 1nF capacitors and replacing them with 12pF.For example, the STEVAL-CTM015A1 uses 1.8K resistors and 10pF capacitors for the same purpose. So, it would be helpful if someone at ST could update the documentation or software to provide a warning when using this board and encoders at high speeds.

Hi everyone I want to program Stm32F103C8t6 via USB and STM32Cube programmer version 2.10.0. I am using "STM32 smart V2." I pulled up the Boot0 pin and disconnected and connected the USB cable to the board (the board's power comes from the USB, so it resets when the USB gets disconnected and connected ). Still, the Cube programmer can't find any DFU, and the windows  always come up with the message "USB not recognized."  let me know if you can suggest any solution Best regards

Hello ST Experts, I'm using STM32H747 and I try to run adc calibration at the start of the code, like under lines.     HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(&hadc3, ADC_CALIB_OFFSET_LINEARITY, ADC_SINGLE_ENDED);    HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(&hadc3, ADC_CALIB_OFFSET, ADC_SINGLE_ENDED); I'm wondering if there is a need to apply a specific voltage to the ADC input lines before calling the above functions.

I am looking at the definition ST gives for each of the Xfer options, but so far none of them really are making sense to me. First off, what is Sequential usage vs non-sequential usage and how does this apply for the following:I2C_FIRST_AND_LAST_FRAMEI2C_FIRST_FRAMEI2C_FIRST_AND_NEXT_FRAMEI2C_NEXT_FRAMEI2C_LAST_FRAMEI2C_LAST_FRAME_NO_STOPI2C_OTHER_FRAME
