Dear all,    I have encountered an strange issue. I set Usart1 Baud Rate to 115200, however, Usart1 BRR[15:4]==0x0082, which corresponds to 57600.(57600 == 120Mhz/(16*0x82)).   I also noticed that HAL_RCC_GetPCLK2Freq() returns a wrong pclk value 0x0E4E1C00(240M), but it should be 120M. The Usart1 Config and Rcc config are as follows :

Hi All,I search for STM32 MCU discovery kit which meets the following conditions.・It have a 4-inch or larger LCD screen.・It have 10 or more GPIO ports that user can use freely.・It have 2 or more UART ports that user can use freely.STM32U5G9J-DK2 have 16 GPIO ports, but only have 1 UART according to user manual.Is there anything else that meets the above conditions.Thanks in advance.

The UART2 IRQ Handler gets called consistently and never clears a few milliseconds after initialization. If the debugger is not present on the RX line, the program always gets stuck in the IRQ Handler forever, until I touch the RX pin with my finger.  Then the program begins executing normally. On our STM32WL5MOCH-based board, the debug port (UART2) pins are left floating.  Here is the beginning of our main.c, which only uses default STM32CubeMX generated driver files, nothing custom.  Please note the included project .ioc file in this post.  int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ /* USER CODE END Sy

Hello,This might seem like a silly question but when using the pin names generated by cube IDE for the RMII interface does TXDx connect to TXDx on the PHY or RXDx? On the schematic for the NUCLEO board it seems that the microcontroller pin in named the same as the pin which it connects to on the PHY. Is this the case? Thank you. This really worrying me as I would feel pretty *** if I connect TX to TX and it didn't work.

Anybody have Linker.ld and Loader_src.c file for STM32H563?  I have done one for the STM32H743 on another project and made an attempt to modify these for the STM32H563 but it's not working.  Appreciate any guidance.I changed the RAM location from 0x24000000 for the H7 to 0x20000000 for the H5 but not sure what else is different as it pertains to a loader.Something with the Init could be wrong...int Init(void) { *(uint32_t*)0xE000EDF0 = 0xA05F0000; //enable interrupts in debug // Added per suggestion from ST to clear out QSPI structure memset(&hospi1, 0, sizeof(hospi1)); SystemInit(); /* ADAPTATION TO THE DEVICE * * change VTOR setting for H5 device * SCB->VTOR = 0x20000000 | 0x200; * * change VTOR setting for other devices * SCB->VTOR = 0x20000000 | 0x200; * * */ SCB->VTOR = 0x20000000 | 0x200; __set_PRIMASK(0); //enable interrupts HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); __HAL_RCC_OSPI1_FORCE_RESET(); //completely reset periph

Hello there, I am working with STM32 TouchGFX with STM32L496ZG-P with AT25Q128A NOR Flash, using this setup my application is to fetch the large amount of data (touchGFX images) from the external flash (AT25Q128A NOR Flash) and to dump it inside the main mcu before the compilation. I created loader file using "Controllers Tech Tutorial" https://controllerstech.com/w25q-flash-series-part-10-qspi-ext-loader-in-h750/ . On inserting the external loader file in the debug configurations, by enabling the two check boxes of "Enable" and "Initialize" (refer to the image attached herewith) my HAL_delay() is not working, further i came to know that, it is because of not reception of the interrupt (so that the "uwTick" is not getting incremented) from the sysTick, but when i tried pressing the onboard reset button, the code continues execution specifically HAL_Delay() is also working, NOTE: When i pressed on board reset button, it starts executing from the point it stopped not from the s

I am putting the STM32WB55 into a space sensitive application so i would like things as small as possible. The application note (AN5129) is very good for a PCB antenna, but I would like a chip antenna to be as small as possible (cost is less of an issue).Are there any recommended chip antennas (or even better, reference designs using them) for the STM32WB?Thanks!

Use SPI with MCU above.  Withspi_transmit(0x55);andvoid spi_transmit(uint8_t tx_data) { SPI1->DR= tx_data; while (!(SPI1->SR & SPI_SR_TXE)); }I have 16 SPI clocks. Init was: hspi1.Init.DataSize = SPI_DATASIZE_8BIT; Data on MOSI showing on the first 8 clocks, MOSI on remaining 8 clocks is zero.While using HAL (same init):pdat= 0x55; HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi1, (const uint8_t *)&pdat, 1, 100);I have, as expected, 8 SPI clocks.Any Suggestions? Thanks!

I am working on a project using the STM32U5G9ZJT6Q MCU, where I am trying to receive data from an 8-bit DCMI interface using GPDMA in circular mode or normal mode. The data is being captured from an 8-bit parallel bus, and I am using GPDMA to transfer this data into memory. However, I am facing issues with the DMA interrupt not triggering and the data not being received properly.I have configured the DMA in circular mode and linked it to the DCMI, but it seems that the DMA transfer is not functioning as expected. I’ve tried various configurations, but I am still unable to get it working.If anyone has worked on a similar setup using the STM32U5G9ZJT6Q and has successfully received data from DCMI using GPDMA in circular mode or normal, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share your code or any insights on how to properly configure and troubleshoot this.

Hello, I downloaded an example "Nx_SNTP_Client", and all the include files are hidden in the file tree (left pane)1-  Where is the setting to show these files?  (Why is this even an option)?2- Why does the Search/Find not work with these hidden files? I looked at: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/cubeide-imported-example-file-structure-does-not-show-header/m-p/75355#M1515 with a similar question, and i see the "outline" tab, but how does that fix the search problem?  What am I missing?thanksMatthew

I've been working with the Nucleo STM32H533 and came across a documentation issue. EXTICR1 and EXTICR4 are shown as having the same address on pages 18.6.15 and 18.6.18 of the reference manual. Additionally, in the Special Function Register tab in STM32CubeIDE, they are also labeled incorrectly. However, they are correctly labeled in the register map section of the reference manual.This threw me off for a while—I wasn’t seeing any changes in the EXTICR4 register while debugging. When I manually modified the bits in EXTICR4, the changes were mirrored in EXTICR1. It wasn’t until I checked the memory browser that I realized the register was being set correctly when using the register map address and noticed the inconsistencies elsewhere.

Hi,I am installing VS Code with the STM32 extension. In the settings I need to provide a path to the MX executable. But it is not anywhere on the C drive (where everything else ST is installed).I remember I installed it with/through CubeIDE, does it mean it is not an .EXE on the drive? And so perhaps I also need to install the CubeMX as standalone?Thank you

Hi everyone: I am working on a project with VL53L8CX Time-of-Flight sensor from Pololu. I integrated it with NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q board over SPI interface based on the example and driver provided in the STMicro en.STSW-IMG040 software package. I configured the SPI3 (MCLK, MISO, and MOSI) on the CN7 to communicate with the sensor. I also have PA4 for SPI3_NSS and PC7 for /PLn signal. The project compiled successfully. However, I believe I am not able to read the registers properly. The firmware reads the "device_id" and "revision_id" from the sensor in the vl53l8cx_is_alive() to determine if the sensor exists. The return values different every time I tried to read. I was able to capture the protocols on the scope, and confirmed the reading values are match with the data shown on the scope. The following scope capture shows the communication:1. Sending 0x00 to address 0x7fff. The yellow signal is for the MCLK, blue for MOSI, purple for MISO, and green for /CS.2. Receiving 0x0 from addres

Hi,   I'm working on an STM32U595 and there is a code generation problem in the function `void PWR_S3WU_IRQHandler(void)` where when you have multiple wake up pins and S3WU interrupt enabled : /* USER CODE END PWR_S3WU_IRQn 0 */ HAL_PWREx_S3WU_IRQHandler(PWR_WAKEUP_PIN2 || PWR_WAKEUP_PIN5 || PWR_WAKEUP_PIN6); /* USER CODE BEGIN PWR_S3WU_IRQn 1 */   But the generated code should be: /* USER CODE END PWR_S3WU_IRQn 0 */ HAL_PWREx_S3WU_IRQHandler(PWR_WAKEUP_PIN2 | PWR_WAKEUP_PIN5 | PWR_WAKEUP_PIN6); /* USER CODE BEGIN PWR_S3WU_IRQn 1 */   This creates a big problem because as soon as you define several wake up pins in stop mode 3, it no longer works.   Best regards, Steven

Hello,I am trying program the flash memory on an STM32f401RE.After successfully programming sector 7 I cannot flash a new application to my board, instead I am met with :Error: ST-LINK error (DEV_TARGET_NOT_HALTED) I can flash new code after a mass erase with cube programmer but this shouldn't be necessary. Here is the code I am using. FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef erase_op; erase_op.TypeErase = FLASH_TYPEERASE_SECTORS; erase_op.Sector = FLASH_SECTOR_7; erase_op.NbSectors = 1; erase_op.VoltageRange = FLASH_VOLTAGE_RANGE_3; uint32_t err; if(HAL_FLASH_Unlock() == HAL_OK) printf("Unlocked flash!\r\n"); if(HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&erase_op, &err) == HAL_OK) printf("Erased memory!\r\n"); char str[] = "Hell"; uint64_t data = 0; memcpy(&data, str, 4); if(HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_WORD, 0x08060000, data) == HAL_OK) printf("Flash programming was successful!\r\n"); printf("Flash error : %lu\r\n", HAL_FLASH_GetError()); if(HAL_FLASH_Lock() == HAL_OK)

Hello,I’m experiencing issues while programming the RVT101HVSFWCA0 Riverdi display. Specifically, I encounter errors when uploading my project using TouchGFX and STM32CubeIDE.I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. I’ve attached a screenshot showing the errors and my current connection setup.

Hello,I am looking at the STEVAL-ISB027V1 dev board. I see that it is obsolete. That is fine, I am more interested in understanding if this design could be implemented on 6x independent channels of Tx coils. I want to be able to independently control 6x copies of this circuit but use a single micro. What would you recommend for an application like this?

Hello, I am trying to implement a zigbee network using stm32wb55 custom board. I use STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.21.0 zigbee examples. Everything works perfectly, butI want to change the client/router 64 bit IEEE address, but I can't find where it is set or hard coded in the code.I have to change it because end devices must have unique IEEE addresses.

I am using a STM32N6570-DK board and I can't understand how to configurate the FSBL, Application, and the External memory stuff in Cubemx. Can anyone describe how to use and configurate these three options?

"I followed along with this video, but I have some questions. How can I correctly retrieve the ADC array values via UART communication? And why is the UART value coming out as garbage in this video?"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hX6pN2jgYMhttps://rristm.github.io/tomas_materials_v2/RRISTM/stm32u5_workshop/master/2_gpdma_handson_list_mode_mx.md/17 I think it's a clock issue. How can I fix this?

Hi,I want to use CLion for development, which requires CMake, and I've been struggling with integrating the X-CUBE-MATTER package in it.Globbing all files withfile(GLOB_RECURSE src_files "Middlewares/*.c" "Middlewares/*.cpp" "Drivers/*.c" "Drivers/*.cpp")produces a binary significantly larger than FLASH and still fails to compile because it includes various examples and templates.Another option I thought of is manually adding all the necessary files, however that seems like a herculean task.Is there an easier way to go on about this (perhaps ST is already working on it)? Thank you for your reply.

I am a student in embedded systems. I have a final project with the stm32h747i-disco card. I want to configure the touch screen to make a graphic interface.

Hi All,I've been trying to bring up a custom external loader for well over a week and I'm just not getting anywhere.My processor is an STM32L496VGT6 and its connected via quadSPI to an MT25QL128A 16MB external flash memory. I'm running the clock at 80MHz, and my QUADSPI is setup like this (both in my custom loader, and in the application code I'm developing):Following mostly along with the "External QSPI loader how to" (from here External QSPI loader how to - 05 – QSPI driver coding - YouTube), and utilizing the files in the contrib branch of the stm external loader github repository (GitHub - STMicroelectronics/stm32-external-loader at contrib), I've put together what seems like a working driver for the MT25QL128. I got there by starting with the quadspi.h/c files in the stm32-custom-loader/QSPI_Drivers/MT25QL512/ folder, and then modifying them using the micro datasheet for the part to swap different commands where necessary. I pulled in test code from the main.c file in st

I am using a Nuclro-303RE to develop a USB Virtual Com port, and I am running into an issue that I cannot seem to resolve.  Just to verify things, I did put some really simple code in the flash the green indicator on the Nucleo board.I have it connected to a custom board that runs the USB lines out to a USB connector.It is powered externally with 5V to VIN. Jumper set for E5V. The power indicator on the Nucleo is on, and the 3.3V is running.I am able to run it with the debugger tool, however, it will not run with just the USB and the 5V in.When I plug in to the USB on the ST-Link board, it starts to run, i.e. the green LED will blink, and the USB will enumerate for the USB virtual com port.I did add an 8MHz oscillator @ X3 and associated parts.I do have a pull up on the USB line.
