I'm trying to convert a 3D printer into a CNC, but I can't find any software to use it with my HA753ZI core. Any ideas would be appreciated. Regards.

I saw one other post on this but it isn't clear anyone was actually successful putting chromium for Wayland on successfully with hardware acceleration. I'm able to get it to load but it's very slow and the chrome://GPU makes it seem unlikely.Fwiw I'm using poky with the meta-st layer instead of stopenlinux. I'm using core-image-weston. It does not complain about the Eula not being accepted so curious if that's a hint? Most things I read discuss chromium 101 instead of the most recent release but I think that's more imx8 related. I am using the stm32mp157-dk2.

Hi,Here is a picture when I run my app on the STM32N6570-DK in developer mode:It works just fineWhen signing and flashing the bin file, this is when I run the app in Flash mode:The result is a near 100% CPU usage and distorted screen. What could be the cause that gives this result? Thanks,

Hi. I am currently using the stm32u545ret6q mcu.   Looking at the RCC of reference documentation(RM0456) it says that it has MSIS hardware autocalibration, but the example code(AN5676) only shows how to adjust the trimming value.   Do you have any example code that shows how to do hardware auto-calibration?

It's quite annoying that the names of the BLE stack are cut off, even though there's plenty of free space. The browser doesn't matter. My screen resolution is 2496 x 1664, with 150% scaling on Windows.

Hello,I'm working on a project using the STM32H750B-DK board with TouchGFX and FreeRTOS. The application gets stuck in this loop:while ((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart) < Delay) {}I debugged and confirmed that HAL_GetTick() is not incrementing

Hi,I'm new to stm32 mcu. I got this Mini STM32F103C8T6 CH340 board from Alipexpress (https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005006910706030.html)Thanks to the embedded CH340 uart, I thought I should be able to program it directly from the Arduino IDE. But I'm a little bit confused regarding the settings in the Arduino IDE for this board. Is there anybody with experience on this board?Who could give me the whole process to upload a program on this board? What is the correct additionnal board url to use? I found 2:-http://dan.drown.org/stm32duino/package_STM32duino_index.json-https://github.com/stm32duino/BoardManagerFiles/raw/main/package_stmicroelectronics_index.jsonAnd then which board/part number to select? Which upload method? On the board itself: what is the correct way/order to press the buttons? Thanks for your help

In STM32MP1, there is an USB hub for 4 USB-A connectors. The hub is Microchip USB2514B. Were 4 means "4 ports".In STM32MP2, there is an USB too, for 2 USB-A connectors. The hub is Microchip USB2412B. Were 2 means "2 ports".According to AN5489, it says at 8.13 " Multiple hi-speed USB hosts using an external USB hub component is not described here.". So is that an answer for "yes, it's possible to use USB 2514B with STM32MP2"?

I have a STM32L432 Nucleo-32 board and I'm trying to use ITM printf trace. I created new project with configuration: "Targeted Project type: Empty" "targeted language: C++". I'm not using HAL libraries.In the syscalls.c I added following code://Debug Exception and Monitor Control Register base address #define DEMCR *((volatile uint32_t*) 0xE000EDFCU ) /* ITM register addresses */ #define ITM_STIMULUS_PORT0 *((volatile uint32_t*) 0xE0000000 ) #define ITM_TRACE_EN *((volatile uint32_t*) 0xE0000E00 ) void ITM_SendChar(uint8_t ch) { //Enable TRCENA DEMCR |= ( 1 << 24); //enable stimulus port 0 ITM_TRACE_EN |= ( 1 << 0); // read FIFO status in bit [0]: while(!(ITM_STIMULUS_PORT0 & 1)); //Write to ITM stimulus port0 ITM_STIMULUS_PORT0 = ch; } __attribute__((weak)) int _write(int file, char *ptr, int len) { (void)file; int DataIdx; for (DataIdx = 0; DataIdx < len; DataIdx++) { ITM_SendChar(*ptr++); } return len; }I didn't make any changes t

Reading through the docs for the STM32 G474 FDCAN TX sections, it seems like if FDCAN is in FIFO mode, there is no way to cancel a pending message. The message can only be dequeued from being sent. If this is the case, how should one handle the case of the currently TX'ing message not ever being acked? In this case, if the message is never acked, it cannot ever be dequeued and the FDCAN TX will essentially be stalled for any other messages. I do see the cancellation functionality, but it seems as though none of it applies to FDCAN in FIFO mode?

Hi everyone,I’m currently working with the STM32MP257F-EV1 evaluation board and would like to change the default UART used for debug output. By default, the EV1 board uses USART2 via the STLINK USB port for debug. However, for testing purposes, I’d like to reroute the debug console to USART6 so I can read debug messages from the header pins on the board. I’ve tried editing the device tree by modifying the chosen node and changing the parameter: stdout-path = "serial0:115200n8";to:stdout-path = "serial1:115200n8";According to my aliases, serial1 should correspond to USART6. However, after making this change, I encounter a watchdog panic very early during boot: m32_serc_handle_ilac:133 SERC exceptions [63:32]: 0x10 E/TC:0 stm32_serc_handle_ilac:139 SERC exception ID: 36 E/TC:0 Panic 'Watchdog' at /usr/src/debug/optee-os-stm32mp/4.0.0-stm32mp-r1/core/drivers/stm32_iwdg.c:228 <stm32_iwdg_it_handler>Based on this post I tried masking the st-m33firmware-

I'm having difficulties in approaching GPDMA in H5 architecture. In another thread I'm trying to run a DMA, which keeps going itself (circularly?).Does that mean inherently that always a linked list has to be used? And would uneviteably go along with an interrupt being generated? If the buffer length is 1 (in my case), that would be very costly and would foil the benefit of DMA.Where can I find a good source for reading on (tutorial, examples)?

At STM32MP1, there is an USB OTG, were you can flash the eMMC via the USB OTG. But in STM32MP2, there is no USB OTG. Does this mean that I need to flash my SD-card instead? Just like Raspberry Pi etc.?Or am I supposed to flash the eMMC via the USB C connector?

Hi,In the motor program generated by MCSDK, I have doubts about the configuration of interrupt priority for USART and TIM. In the program, the interrupt priority for USART is (3.1), while Tim's brake interrupt is (4.1).In practical driving, the brake interruption of TIM involves overcurrent protection of the motor, which directly affects the safety of the motor and controller. However, its priority is lower than that of USART. In this configuration, will it increase the safety risk of the motor and controller when USART is frequently disconnected or in other unexpected situations? Can you help me unravel this doubt? thank you.Duan Additional program screenshot:

am developing smart meter with stm32h750vbt6,I develop  my own stm32 PCB board and is working well  if I run the project with other hardware that has libraries .the problem is for the ac voltage current and voltage sensor am using ACS758 for current and ZMPT101B for voltage ,the ADC are not reading any thing while everything is well .does any libraries exist for them or any way I can use to get the measurements so that the smart meter will work well?

Recently I’ve been developing a host application on a Mac Mini (Apple M4, Sequoia 15.5) using Xcode. It communicates with a STM32H7 board via USB CDC, using the internal PHY at 12 Mbps. The USB CDC code is auto-generated by CubeMX with all default parameters. The board works perfectly with serial tools on Windows. When the same board is connected to the Mac Mini, it successfully enumerates two devices: /dev/tty.usbmodem and /dev/cu.usbmodem. Regardless of which one selected to communicate, writing always succeeds and the board receives the data correctly and sends respond back. However, for some reason, the Mac computer “drops” the incoming data—the application’s read() function never gets anything.I’ve already tried the following combinations:Reading and writing from tty or cu deviceBlocking and non-blocking reads (including background event-listening methods)Enabling DTR and/or RTSUsing third-party libraries like ORSSerialPortNone of them worked. Also tried some serial tools on Ma

The 32-pin package doesn't seem to have any kind of external clock input at all, and the device does not feature "crystal-less USB". How do we provide a stable clock for USB then?

Hi,I'm working on a project using an STM32G series MCU alongside a processor. The processor runs an application that handles firmware flashing for the STM32.We’re planning to implement firmware upgrades over I2C or UART. However, due to hardware limitations, the I2C line we selected does not support bootloader flashing. So, we're now considering UART for the firmware upgrade. The current schematic only provides access to the MCU's RX pin—its TX pin is not connected. Can we connect the processor's TX pin to the MCU's RX pin and still perform the firmware upgrade using the STM32 bootloader? Will this unidirectional connection be enough?

I try to do the motor drive using a B-G431B-ESC1 board. When I connect the board, the following warning appeared.[WARNING] - MotorControlRegistersBank: Accessing register [7449] RESISTOR_OFFSET resulted in error[5] . Changing register's access accordingly to avoid getting this error againThe software version is  V6.4.0.I could obtain the electrical and mechanical models by clicking "start profile" after the motor connected to the motor driver rotated. But, in the "register" tab, the status of register [7449] is "error".Could you please tell me how to solve this error? Thanks.

Hello,I generated code using STM32CubeMX for the STM32N657x0 MCU. I selected only the secure region and added a simple UART operation for testing purposes. In CubeMX, I selected only the Application (not the FSBL or External Memory Loader ), and generated the project for Keil. Now, my question is:Can I directly load the code into the board using Keil, or is it mandatory to use the FSBL or an external memory loader?I noticed that all official STM32N6 examples include an FSBL. I haven't seen an example that runs with just the application alone. So I would like to confirm this with you to ensure I don't risk damaging or misconfiguring the board. For reference i attached the  .ioc file .Thank you again for your support.

HiI'm having troubles programming the stm32h755zit6 on my selfmade PCB. The schematics should be right, as i am able to programm the STM32. But if i run a simple code inwhich a certain pin should be pulled up high, it just won't work. Therefore I thought about debugging the code to see whether it reaches the part inwhich the GPIO-function is called. But instead it doesnt and ends up in a error_handler. Afterwards i somehow am not able to reprogramm the STM32H755 anymore as the message following message appears:stmicroelectronics st-link gdb server. version 7.10.0 copyright (c) 2025, stmicroelectronics. all rights reserved. starting server with the following options: persistent mode : disabled logging level : 1 listen port number : 61234 status refresh delay : 15s verbose mode : disabled swd debug : enabled initwhile : enabled target no device found error in initializing st-link device. reason: no device found on target.I have no done this over and over again three time an i always had
