I want to connect the AD7605-4BSTZ ADC (operating from +10V to -10V) with the STM32H743. I plan to use a parallel connection for 16 bits to achieve high accuracy, and I also want to utilize DMA. I need to configure the microcontroller in STM Cube IDE to use this connection. Additionally, I would like to simulate the setup before starting the manufacturing process.

As I tried to find CAN drivers for " STM32L4R9I-EVAL" but I didn't find any, And I tried configuring CAN example of Stm32L476G-Eval board but it is not working.Anyone who worked on CAN (Protocol )configuring on STM32L4R9I-EVAL board please Guide me in this

PA0_C/PA1_C/PC2_C/PC3_CWhat is the base address for the above four GPIOs that can be set? Also, do you have the following understanding about the above 4 pins?Pxy_C can be set to a pin of the same function or another function by controlling an analog switch.

Hello everyone,I am working with the B-UWB-MEK1 evaluation kit that features the B-UWB-MOD1 ultra-wideband module. My primary goal is to implement Real-Time Location System (RTLS) functionality using this evaluation kit.I would like to know:Where can I find the software package or SDK for this evaluation kit that includes RTLS capabilities? Is there any ready-to-use RTLS demo application or example project available for this module? Are there any specific instructions or documentation available to set up and use the RTLS software package with the B-UWB-MEK1 kit?Any guidance, download links, or tips to get started with the RTLS features for this UWB module would be highly appreciated!Thank you in advance for your support.

In CUBE MX I have selected the microcontroller STM32C071CBT6 When I set the sequencer option to "sequencer set to fully configurable" then the channels IN17 IN18 IN19 IN20 IN21 IN22 are hidden why?  is there any limitation for that channels or anything else?

Hello. This problem has bothered me a lot.I generated an nbg modle form my tflite model:adam@Ubuntu22:~/STM32MPU_workspace/stedgeai/2.0/Utilities/linux$ ./stedgeai generate --model test.tflite --target stm32mp25ST Edge AI Core v2.0.0-20049PASS: 0%| | 0/2 [00:00<?, ?it/s]Galcore warning: MMU is disabled!Model was successfully compiled to NBG: /home/adam/STM32MPU_workspace/stedgeai/2.0/Utilities/linux/stm32ai_output/test.nbPASS: 100%elapsed time (generate): 39.985sI am not sure if the waring "MMU is disabled" meaning my model will works in low efficiency or not. But I definitely monitored the gpu load while inferenceing and the maximum occupancy rate is 2% only. Then I tried to changed batch size to 32 to improve gpu load. But the result is:[ 9143.030372] [galcore]: GPU[0] core0 hang, automatic recovery.[ 9143.030732] [galcore]: recovery doneI changed the batch size to 6, it's OK, and the up threshold is 6.I thinks that may be something wrong about my model or my environment settings.

Hi All,We are currently exploring microcontroller options to meet our system requirements. The system must support Ethernet communication at 1Gbps while simultaneously driving 24 GPIOs (12+12) with a single clock output at a speed of 38 MHz. All GPIOs should be updated on the rising edge of the clock signal and must be refreshed within half of the high duration of the clock signal, approximately 6ns.Additionally, the system requires high-speed external RAM to process data of approximately 1GB data. We have evaluated the GPIOs driving mechanism on one microcontroller, we encountered a bottleneck with the DMA clock source, as few clock cycles are required for proper DMA processing and updated GPIOs status by timer trigger event. We are seeking a microcontroller that meets these specifications and provides an efficient solution.Any suggestions will be appreciated.Thank you in advance.Jaydeep.

Dear Sir,We are facing an issue while bringing up the STM32 microcontroller (part number: STM32H747XIH6) using the internal SMPS.When we power the MCU through the LDO path, everything works fine, and we are able to connect to the STM32 via JTAG. However, when using the internal SMPS, the MCU does not respond and we are unable to establish a connection through JTAG.We have attached the relevant portion of the schematics for your reference.Could you please help us identify the issue with the internal SMPS configuration?  Best Regards,Samudralankaiah.

Hello Community,I'm working on a storage module using SDcard for my project. The chip I'm using is STM32H743XIH6.At present, the SD card has been successfully read and written in the polling (ordinary) mode. However, I have never succeeded in reading and writing the SD card in DMA mode.Could you please provide a complete illustrated tutorial of the configuration process? For now, there is no need to introduce fatfs. Just read and write a block in DMA mode.If possible, please also provide a configured.ioc file and the test code. PS:STM32CubeMX Version: 6.14.1

I remeber there was the possibility to change MCU, but now I don't find it. How can I do ?  Thanks

I want to use a different SD Card than the one provided with the STM32MP257DK board. I complete writing to the SD Card through STM32CubeProgrammer in boot mode, but STM32CubeProgrammer disappears without the last complete message. After that, booting does not work even if I do SD boot, and the SD Card is not partitioned. Are there any separate regulations for the SD Card that should be used with the STM32MP257DK board? INFO: Boot used partition fsbl1NOTICE: BL2: v2.10-stm32mp2-r1.0(debug):lts-v2.10.5-dirty(7c229848)NOTICE: BL2: Built : 16:19:31, Jun 28 2024INFO: EventBuffer0: BuffArea=e03f000 DmaAddr=0e03f000 CoherentMapAddr=0xe03f000INFO: dwc3_set_dev_speed = HighSpeedINFO: DFU USB START...INFO: Event: Link Status Change : ON(0)INFO: Event: Link Status Change : Early Suspend(5)INFO: Event: Link Status Change : L2(3)INFO: Event: SuspendINFO: USB Suspend modeINFO: Event: Device ResetINFO: Event: Device Connection DoneINFO: dwc3_get_dev_speed = HighSpeedINFO: Event: Link Status Change

Hello Community,I have a Nucleo-U5A5ZJ-Q development board and have generated code for it using CubeMX (version 6.12.0).  The generated code contains this for the user button:void EXTI13_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN EXTI13_IRQn 0 */ /* USER CODE END EXTI13_IRQn 0 */ BSP_PB_IRQHandler(BUTTON_USER); /* USER CODE BEGIN EXTI13_IRQn 1 */ /* USER CODE END EXTI13_IRQn 1 */ } If I enable the RNG in CubeMX and enable its global interrupt and then re-generate the code the above changes to:void EXTI13_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN EXTI13_IRQn 0 */ /* USER CODE END EXTI13_IRQn 0 */ HAL_EXTI_IRQHandler(&H_EXTI_13); /* USER CODE BEGIN EXTI13_IRQn 1 */ /* USER CODE END EXTI13_IRQn 1 */ }Which doesn't compile as H_EXTI_13 is not defined anywhere that I can see in any file.  am I missing something or is this a glitch in CubeMX. If I restore line 6 to its original value then the code compiles.Any help much appreciated.

I am trying to periodically transfer data to the first byte of GPIOA (PA0-PA7) using DMA Channel 1 and TIMER1, but am hitting a transfer error immediately after enabling the DMA channel for transferring. * I can write to GPIOA->ODR using the CPU and I've confirmed the output on a scope, so the GPIOA timer is enabled and the pins are set as outputs.* I am able to confirm that TIMER1 is running at ~20Khz, because it is able to toggle its associated GPIO pin (PA8) at the desired frequency. This is plenty low compared to the system frequency, which is north of 16Mhz (not sure exact value, PLL is enabled)* I believe the DMAMUX is connected correctly because if I disable the timer, no transfer error shows up for DMA ch 1 ISR and NDTR doesn't change (as expected).* I've confirmed the peripheral address is set to 0x50000014, which lines up with GPIO->ODR.* I've confirmed the memory address is set to 0x20001F60, which lines up with the buffer on the stack.* NDTR is non

Hello community,I just downloaded ULD driver for vl53l8ch. However it looks only i2c interface is implemented in the driver, no SPI interface related is present. Is there a SPI version of the driver available? or I missed something? Thank you./Roland

I found an application note which goes in depth on DMA transfer speeds and clocking for F7 chips, but haven't been able to find anything similar for H7 chips. I have a few questions:How are each of the DMA controllers clocked on an H7xx chip? My assumption is MDMA is on the AXI clock and DMA1, DMA2 and BDMA are on the AHB clock. Is this correct? How would I go about calculating the worst-case latency for a memory-to-memory transfer by a given DMA controller from a given location in memory to another (in the same bank, or a different one)? How much latency does each domain link add, and do the H7 memory buses follow the same round robin allocation scheme described in the F7's application note? For example, if I were transferring 1 word of data from SRAM1 to AXI SRAM, how long would it take using each of the BDMA, DMA1, and MDMA controllers?

Hello,I downloaded STM32CubeIDE v1.0.0 and tried to install it on my Windows 7 computer.Unfortunatly I have a NSIS Error "Error launching installer". I tried to download again the file, tried on another windows 7 PC but I still have this issue.Someone know how to solve this issue? Thanks and best regardsFabien

Hi everyone,I'm working on a project involving the LSM6DSR sensor (very similar to the LSM6DSL), connected via SPI to a Verdin i.MX8M Plus SoM (NXP) mounted on a Dahlia Carrier Board. The firmware runs on the Cortex-M7 core (MIMX8ML8DVNLZ) using Zephyr RTOS v4.1.0.What I've done:Integrated Zephyr’s official lsm6dsl sensor sampleConfigured the sensor in the device tree (reg = <0>, spi-max-frequency = <10000000>)Enabled CONFIG_LSM6DSL=y, CONFIG_SPI=y, CONFIG_SENSOR=y in prj.confThe driver appears to initialize in the logs, but always ends up saying failed to initialize chip 0x0The issue:No SPI activity is observed on the oscilloscope. Before firmware starts: CS is low (0V)After Zephyr boots: CS line goes to 1.8V (expected idle state) and remains highNo toggling on CS, no SCLK or MOSI/MISO activity What I need help with:I’m trying to understand:Is the LSM6DSR fully compatible with the lsm6dsl Zephyr driver in SPI mode?Does the driver automatically try to read WHO_AM_I or o

Hi Team.We are facing some challenge with external watchdog timer with STM32F373VCT6 controller. when there is no program in flash input to external watch dog timer (WDI) is output and no pulse . during this time external watch dog timer continuously generate reset pulse to microcontroller pin (nRST which is default of pull up). when we trying to program through JLINK external watch dog timer not allowing to program , it continuously resetting the controller, we need to manually separate external watch dog timer reset pin from nRST pin by removing R64 as per given schematic. Do you have any suggestion to avoid manual intervention

I configured dual DAC synchronous sampling，DMA is in normal mode for data transfer. When the timer frequency of the ADC is 10KHz, the main cycle can print serial port information, but when the timer frequency is 50KHz, the main cycle does not print ADC data information. What is the reason for this? Below is my cubemx software configuration and related code. int main()CallBack: ADC DMA NVIC

Dear Community, i got two interconnected questions, as i want to build a measurement system that measures and generates sine signals and multi-sine signals with frequencies of up to 1 MHz. For this task i would like to have 10MSPS DAC and ADC acquisition. I thought about multiple ways of doing it and would like to hear your thoughts:Just do it all in analog and build a simple lock in amplifier and use an external  signal generator icThis would be the method i am currently using but it is fairly limited as it can only generate one frequency at a time or i would have to scale up the analog side.Use the build in ADCs and DACs to generate and measure the signals. The ADC of the G474 is 4MSPS at max res.  would be < 8MSPS in alternating trigger mode.Could i use the HRTIM to trigger all ADCs alternating to generate even higher sampling rates?Would the DMA be able to handle that? Do i tie all pins together or give everyone a separate opamp to circumvent sampling no

Hi,I have a CubeMX-generated code, where I want to receive data from the SPI. Unfortunately, the SPI2 ISR SPI2_IRQHandler() is never called. What I have checked/tried:hardware signals all are there and at the expected pinsinitialisation is done (it is CubeMX-generated code, so I do not expect any issues here)tried changing polarity of NSSinterrupts are enabled via __enable_irq();Anything else what could be missing/what should be checked? Thanks!

Dear STMicroelectronics Support Team,We are currently working on a project involving the AEK-POW-BMSWTXA board, which we are interfacing with an STM32F405RGT6 microcontroller via SPI communication. We have connected the board over SPI, but we are not receiving any response from it. To proceed with our development, we kindly request the following:The official User Guide or any detailed documentation for the AEK-POW-BMSWTXA board.A working SPI communication example for interfacing this board with an STM32 MCU (preferably using STM32 HAL).Guidance or sample code to read individual cell voltages from the board. We are facing difficulty in establishing communication and would appreciate your support in resolving this issue.          Thank you .

Hello,I am currently using a X-NUCLEO-GFX01M2 screen to display logs from a NUCLEO-STM32WL55JC board. Unfortunately, it is quite slow to display the logs, so I wanted to improve the SPI frequency. I tested it by lowering the SPI BaudRatePrescaler from the nucleo board, but below 16, I noticed no improvements. When measuring the SPI clock, there is no improvement above roughly 3 MHz.How can I improve the SPI link? Moreover, there is nothing related to the max SPI frequency in any X-NUCLEO-GFX01M2 documentation. What is the max frequency the GFX01M2 screen can support? Regards,Sacha
