Dear STMicroelectronics Community members,I am currently evaluating STM32 microcontrollers for a project that requires strong cryptographic capabilities. Our goal is to implement hybrid encryption, meaning we need hardware support for both symmetric encryption (e.g., AES, DES/3DES) and asymmetric encryption (e.g., RSA, ECC, public key cryptography), along with hashing functions (SHA-1, SHA-2, SHA-3 if available).Specifically, I would like to request:A list of STM32 families and part numbers that include dedicated hardware accelerators for:Symmetric ciphers (AES, DES/TDES)Asymmetric ciphers (RSA, ECC, or other public key accelerators)Hash functions (SHA-1, SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-3, etc.)Hardware Random Number Generator (TRNG)Clarification on which STM32 series provide a comprehensive cryptographic hardware suite suitable for hybrid encryption schemes (combining symmetric + asymmetric algorithms).Recommendations on the most suitable STM32

Hello members, Until recently, I was using a G473. There, I ran code from the ccmram. That worked without any problems. Now I have switched to the H533. For performance reasons, I want to run the code in SRAM1 0x20000000 - 0x2001FFF. I want to keep the data in SRAM2. MEMORY { RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20020000, LENGTH = 80K /*Ram placed SRAM2 with ECC-Check*/ FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 256K CCMRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128K /*SRAM1 for code */ } For example, the function: __attribute__((section(“.ccmram”))) void EXTI0_IRQHandler(); is located in the map file at the correct address: .text.EXTI0_IRQHandler0x0000000020000300 0x28 ./Hal/Interface/Interrupts.o0x0000000020000300 EXTI0_IRQHandler The code is copied to SRAM1 in the startup file. However, when I call the function, a hard fault is generated. The PC points to the address: 0x20000302The CFSR register contains: 0x01000000, whichcorresponds to UFSR[8] and means unaligned access. This would match the pc ad

Hello,I’m working with the ST25R3911 NFC reader IC in a battery-powered application where ultra-low power consumption is critical. Is it allowed to completely switch off VDD_IO while VDD is still supplied (e.g., when the device is in Wake-Up mode)? Will the interrupt pin still work in Wake-Up mode if VDD is present but VDD_IO is off?I noticed that even when VDD is off, if VDD_IO is connected, there seems to be additional leakage current. Could you clarify the expected current paths in such cases? Is there any recommended sequence for powering up/down VDD and VDD_IO to avoid unwanted currents or undefined states? Can VDD_IO be powered directly from a microcontroller GPIO pin (to save power by enabling it only when needed)? What is the typical consumption of VDD_IO in idle conditions?

Hello Together,I would like to try out the STM32CubeMonitor-RF (V2.15.0) with the NUCLEO-WBA55CG board. I downloaded the stm32cubewba mcu package (V1.7.0) and flashed the .bin file from the BLE_TransparentMode example to the board with the STMCubeProgrammer (V2.20.0)(start address: 0x08000000).When starting the STM32CubeMonitor-RF, however, the message "Device under Test not responding" appears. I then loaded the project with the STM IDE (V1.19.0) and selected the BLE_TransparentMode project for my board via the Example Selector when creating a new STM32 project. The same error message appears on the RF Monitor. Do I have to integrate the BLE stack separately?Where can I find the BLE stack?I have noticed that the loaded project structure in the IDE differs from the one from the ST Wiki for the transparent mode. The file "ll_sys_hclk_client.c" and the two libraries "LinkLayer_BLE_Full_lib.a" and "stm32wba_ble_stack_full.a" are missing in the middleware. Thanks for the

I'm using a NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q board. I tried to read following address.TEMPSENSOR_CAL1_ADDR (0x1FF1E820UL)TEMPSENSOR_CAL2_ADDR (0x1FF1E840UL)But I can't. it causes HardFault interrupt.I also tried to read the area from Debugger.Debugger said Failed to execute MI command:-data-evaluate-expression *((short*)0x1FF1E820)Error message from debugger back end:Cannot access memory at address 0x1ff1e820 But it is possible from Cortex-M7. I tried other System Memory area, But I can't.I think Cortex-M4 cannot access System memory area without special sequence. How do I access the area form Cortex-M4? Someone, please help me.

We need some help with cable replacement feature. Our project using WB1M as a client device, sharing data over UART. Android application must be server. STBLESensor_Android source code not include any sample code with Cable replacement feature. Were we can get one?

I'm using the AWD (STM32G0B0CE) with the HAL_ADC_LevelOutOfWindowCallback(), which works fine. For not blocking the MCU completely, I'm disabeling the AWD-IT inside the Callback when fired for about 500ms:LL_ADC_DisableIT_AWD1 (ADC1);After the 500ms elapsed the AWD-IT is enabled again:LL_ADC_EnableIT_AWD1 (ADC1);This only works fine for about 2 times:Start -> Fire IT -> DisableIT-> 500ms-> EnableIT -> Fire IT -> DisableIT-> 500ms-> IT stays completely disabled, though enabled again.Any idea what I'm missing? Thanks.

What's the max DC powerline voltage I can use with the X-NUCLEO-PLM01A1 expansion board?  Asked another way, what's the max voltage I can connect to the PLM_CONNECTOR C1?

Hello, @STTwo-32  I am working with the NUCLEO-WB05KZ (MB1801 + MB2032B target). I received two boards from the ST eStore. One board works fine: STM32CubeProgrammer detects the target, and I can erase/flash/debug with no issue. The second board initially connected once, but after flashing a BLE firmware example via STM32CubeIDE, the target MCU no longer responds. Symptoms: ST-LINK is enumerated correctly in Windows (Virtual COM Port visible, target voltage ≈ 3.28 V). In STM32CubeProgrammer: “No STM32 target found” or “ST-LINK error (DEV_TARGET_CMD_ERR)” Cannot connect even when selecting SWD + Hardware reset, lowering SWD frequency, or holding RESET while connecting. Tried with BOOT0 jumper set to “Bootloader” and with “User Flash,” no success. ST-LINK firmware is up to date. Jumpers are in default positions: JP1=5V_STLK, JP2=ON, SW1=3V3. What I already tried: Multiple USB cables and ports. “Connect under reset” procedure (RESET held while connec

Hi,I have a project with TouchGFX based on STM32N6570-DK.In STM32CubeMX, once I tried to add X-CUBE-AI, I got stuck, and the error is appeared as shown below. What does it mean?Once I removed the TouchGFX Graphic Application, the X-CUBE-AI can be enabled, but the generator removed MX_TouchGFX_Init() etc.Are there any side effects, if I restore the TouchGFX code manually? And I’m curious — why does this limitation exist?Regards!

Hi! My situation is the same as post provided here: https://community.st.com/t5/edge-ai/getting-error-quot-analyze-fail-on-the-ai-model-quot/td-p/55309Is there any solution to this problem? Also, I am using the STM32F407G-DISC1 board with a Mac with M3 Pro Chip. Thanks!

Hello all, I have been working on a keyboard PCB with an STM32F103, and I have started trying to program it with the STM32duino bootloader however, I have been unable to connect to the chip. This is my first time using the STM32CubeProgrammer with an ST-Link V2. I have verified the voltage across several points in the PCB. I have previously used similar designs with STM32F07 chips and had no issues.   Most of the time, I get an error of "No STM32 Target found" and sometimes I get the error "ST-LINK error (DEV_TARGET_CMD_ERR)". I have tried my best to look at past posts on the forum, but none of the solutions have fixed my issue.  I am happy to provide extra measurements and provide more information. Tips on how to troubleshoot this are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!   Schematic and PCB screenshot.

I am programming a custom board using STM32L562. While trying to connect the debugger using STM32CubeIDE I get the following error: Verifying ...Error: Data mismatch found at address 0x08001000 (byte = 0xFF instead of 0x0E)Error: Download verification failedEncountered Error when opening C:\ST\STM32CubeIDE_1.13.1\STM32CubeIDE\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.cubeprogrammer.win32_2.1.0.202305091550\tools\bin\STM32_Programmer_CLI.exeError in STM32CubeProgrammerShutting down...Exit. Besides, when I am trying to erase the memory with the programmer it is impossible.Does anybody have any suggestion?

Hello,I have a problem with the configuration of LAN8720A with STM32MP151. Hello,I've got two NUCLEO-STM32H7S3L8 boards and started playing around with those. I created a project in STM32CubeIDE and used the standard template for the board with the generated example data. STM32CubeMX generated the "Appli," "Boot," and "ExtMemLoader" projects, but they seem to have some errors. Here's what I found so far:"Appli"-Project:This line of generated code: #elif defined ( __GNUC__ ) || defined ( __ARMCC_VERSION )) /* GNU Compiler */This led to this compiling error:../Core/Src/eth.c:36:58: error: missing '(' in expression36 | #elif defined ( __GNUC__ ) || defined ( __ARMCC_VERSION )) /* GNU Compiler */| ^../Core/Src/eth.c: In function 'MX_ETH_Init':../Core/Src/eth.c:73:22: error: 'DMATxDscrTab' undeclared (first use in this function)73 | heth.Init.TxDesc = DMATxDscrTab;| ^~~~~~~~~~~~../Core/Src/eth.c:73:22: note: each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in../Core/Src/eth.c:74:22: error: 'DMARxDscrTab' undeclared (first use

Hey,I am using the stm32wb55rev6 boards as the client and server to send and receive the data.i am able to establish the connection between the server and the client. How can i be able to send the data from the server to the client using the usart1.Do i need to create a new  task in the sequencer using the util _regtask or is there any document related to that?

Peripheral: QSPIBug: Bit 4 of FTHRES[4:0] in the Control Register is not set when written with threshold values in the range0x10 - 0x1F. Works fine for threshold values in the range 0x00 - 0x0F. So, for example, if one writes 0x16 for athreshold level of 23-bytes, the actual value is 0x06 corresponding to a threshold level of 7-bytes.Encountered on: STM32F723IE, STM32F746NG and STM32F767ZIComments: Checked the errata data sheets for the above processors and there is no mention of the bug.Request: Please can anyone confirm that this is indeed an undocumented hardware bug.

Has anyone used those BIG KEY button modules before? I’m trying to hook one up to an Arduino, but I’m not sure if I’m wiring it right since the signal seems stuck low. Do they normally need a pull-up resistor or should it just work out of the box?

Dear all,I have the STM32N6570-DK ,MB1860B  version . I'm trying to follow the procedure to flash the .bin files. The programming seems ok, but when I reboot the kit, there's no application... the screen is inactive. However, I can successfully flash the demos stm32n6570-dk-ai-demo-v1-0-0 and N6_OoB_v1.3_single_hex.the link: x-cube-n6-ai-h264-usb-uvc Applicationhttps://github.com/STMicroelectronics/x-cube-n6-ai-h264-usb-uvc/blob/main/Doc/Program-Hex-Files-STM32CubeProgrammer.md  Can you help me ? Cheers Emmanuel

Hi Sirs,                I want to buy an NFC WLC evaluation kit similar to the one shown in the picture I posted. Where can I buy?

The L6920DB temperature rating is not specified in the datasheet. However, it gives the temperature data as Max Tj=150C, Thermal resistance is 180C/W. Based on Tj=Ta+Pd*ThetaJa, if Ta=85C, then the Pd allowed in this temperature is very low. Is L6920DB rated temperature range specified as -45C to 85C?

Platform: macOS 11.7.10 (BigSur)   I wanted to try out the recently announced STM32Cube plugin for VSCODE. Did so but from my understanding I have to install/configure STM32CubeCLT within VSCODE. Not knowing whether I had installed it with STM32CubeIDE already I downloaded the package (again?). After the installation had run  successfully I went into VSCODE to configure STM32CubeCLT.An installation directory has to be specified. I have no idea, where this directory can be found. Can anyone help?

Hello,I am planning to develop a small low-power wearable device using the STM32WB05KNV6TR.My goal is to use the STM32WB05KNV6TR as a standalone MCU while implementing BLE communication. From what I have found, this IC seems to be often used only for BLE communication, so I would like to clarify a few points:Can the STM32WB05KNV6TR be used as an MCU that runs logic using peripherals such as ADC and SPI, while also handling BLE communication at the same time?If it is possible, which development board would be suitable for testing the STM32WB05KNV6TR before hardware development?I purchased the NUCLEO-WB05KZ board, but it seems to be in a module form (around 20x10 mm in size) instead of just the IC. Is this normal, or did I purchase the wrong version? On the other hand, the IC on the STM32WB5MM-DK Discovery Kit looks like an appropriate size. Would this board be a good option to use?Thank you in advance for your support.
