Solved

Hello everyone,I’m working on a project using the STSPIN32G4 and running into an issue where the MOSFETs are not switching as expected. I’d really appreciate some guidance from the community.Setup:MCU: STSPIN32G4 (integrated STM32G4 + gate driver)Power stage: 3-phase inverter using N-channel MOSFETsPower supply: 48VControl method: Just attempting to drivethe InverterFirmware: Own Problem:The MCU is running and I can confirm firmware execution via debug. The MOSFETs are not turning on — no switching on the half-bridges.Gate driver outputs appear to stay low (no high/low drive pulses). What I’ve Checked:VBOOT and VCC supply rails are within spec.EN/FAULT pins are pulled correctly(High).PWM timer configuration looks fine in CubeMX.Dead-time insertion is enabled. No over-current fault is being signaled (nFAULT pin is inactive).Questions:Are there any common setup steps (jumpers, register settings, enable sequences) I might be missing before the gate driver will actually drive the MOSFETs

Hi, can someone tell me to which signal are connected the 6 layers of the board? Thank you so much

HelloIs there any replacement for NRND p/n LD56100DPU18R?regardsD

I want to use the EMMC as USB storage space, but I encountered another issue: I am trying to access the EMMC via SDMM1, and after implementing the MSC-related functions (read, write, USBD_STORAGE_GetMediaLastLba, USBD_STORAGE_GetMediaBlocklength) in ux_device_msc.c, the formatting operation on the PC side fails. The error message says: "Please insert a disk into the removable disk."I have already verified that after initializing SDMM1, the EMMC can be accessed and read/write operations are successful. What could be the reason for this issue? The attached file is my project.ux_device_msc.c：

Can I use MMAction2 with TSN or SlowFast behavior recognition models and deploy them to the STM32MP257? Does the STM32MP257 support 3D CONV operators?

Hello, I am working on the STM32G431RB Nucleo board, specifically on the internal temperature sensor. I am facing issues in getting accurate readings. For your reference, I have attached: My code implementation An Excel sheet comparing temperature readings with respect to a thermal chamber The sensor readings are not matching the expected values. Could you please guide me on the correct way to use this sensor and help identify any corrections required in my implementation? /* USER CODE END Header */ /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h" /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ /* USER CODE END Includes */ /* Private typedef -----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PTD */ uint16_t adc_val,ref_adc,ts_ref,ts_cal1,ts_cal2; float vdd,temp,vdd,avg_temp; float alpha =0.075; #define TS_CAL1 ((uint16_t * ) 0x1FFF75A

Hello, I have recently upgradated STM32CubeIDE from v.1.13.2 to v.1.14.0.The upgrade seems has gone well, as indicated in the Help->About window:Anyway, if i check the window installed application list, is still indicated the previous version:Also, in the file system I continue to see the old version 1.13.2, but not the new one 1.14.0.This doesn't seem to be very clear and I am a little bit confused. Is it better to disinstall a reinstall STM32CubeIDE?Regards,Carlo

I tried to search the forum so I'm sorry if there is a solution posted to this problem.I have been struggling with creating the pattern inside the image. Every 10 seconds I want a short heartbeat pulse generated by DAC. (DAC goes high, then low). The period can experience a bit of jitter, no problem, but ideally it's every 10 seconds. However, the pulse is very important to have the correct timing as it is not allowed to be longer. I have tried to drive a timer in OPM mode with a slower timer as trigger, and the timers worked, but I couldn't get DAC and DMA to function the way I wanted, if this approach is possible, configuration pointers would be appreciated.I have also tried to enable a timer in software and disable it on DAC DMA complete transfer interrupt but this didn't work too well. If there is any way I can toggle the DAC with help of a timers capture compare that would be great. Then I could just enable the timer on some sys tick interrupt, use two CC's and disable it

Where can I find the pinout of NUCLEO H533RE?

I am working with an STM32N6 microcontroller and need clarification about the electrical characteristics of its GPIO pins. How much current a GPIO can source and sink. Is it in micro Amps or mili Amps.

Hi, I am asking about the STM32 usb power delivery middleware. Is there a way to delay/stop the PS_RDY (power supply ready) message from being sent out, or is that completely automatic? Thank you.

Hi,We are trying to mount the VL537CX ToF(Pololu) sensor on roof of a car and map a certain area of the cabin. The sensor is pointed downwards. But we are observing the a pattern flashing (appearing for a single frame of ToF data) at an interval varying from 0.2 to 5 seconds. The pattern is not constant, there will be slight changes each time. There are textured hard plastic surfaces (black color & white color) in the locations corresponding to  the zones where flashing occurs. The windshield is close to the sensor, but is out of its FoV.What could be the reason for this behavior? What can be done to avoid this flashing behavior?Attached the images of normal zone values and zone values during flashing for reference.

I need help identifying a particular ST SOIC 8 op amp. It has the markings: 204/ 9125   I hope to hear back from you as I am interested in this op amp but I cannot find out what it is.

Hi,for a project we are evaluating we need to read bank/credit card data via NFC (Number, expire date, ccv/cvv) to record when people are accessing a gate and when are leaving; similar to the underground gateways that could be accessed with credit cards directly.Could we do it with any of the ST25 NFC readers (e.g. ST25R3916B)?As we do not have to process any payments could we get the credit card data simply using the reader functionalities or do we need any additional software components? (Beside the rfal middleware). Kind Regards,Andrea

Hello,We have a custom board based mainly on stm32mp257-dk design. The sdcard supply voltage doesn't activate on STPMIC for some reason. Is the stpmic preprogrammed on the DK board or should the Rom code of the MPU activate it via I2C? Best RegardsRaimo

Hi,We are using the STM32WLE5JCI6.In our design, the TCXO (HSE) is powered directly by the 3.3 V on-board power supply, and the VDD_TCXO pin is left unconnected. Is this acceptable?Should we avoid using the Set_TcxoMode command in this case? Thanks for any help

Hi.I'm in progress of making an iOS app that needs to send custom commands to a ST25DV tag. I've been going through the same error all week (Feature not supported, from CoreNFC), so I started using the ST25SDKiOS but I still don't get how to use it. I was wondering if there is any instruction to use it to send custom commands to the tag.Thanks.

Hello,I had generated an External QSPI loader for W25Q128JV and STM32H743 some 2 years ago.I originally used it with STlink Utility Programmer and then switched to STM32CubeProgrammer.  All good and working as expected with CubeProgrammer v2.17.I stopped updating the CubeProgrammer as every version after that including the latest v2.20 no longer functional with my custom .stldr file refusing to mass erase the device. Does anyone know what changed in CubeProgrammer support for External Loaders starting with v2.18 ?Thank you,Yuri

I have a custom board with a 1024x600 display. It works fine. Some demo examples only work in lower resolution. I want to get those to work on my display.I was able to trick TouchGFX Designer to think lower resolutions are supported by changing AvailableResolutions in ApplicationTemplate.touchgfx.part. This sort of works, but you see some objects out of the window. It's wasted rendering time too.By changing pLayerCfg.ImageHeight of the LTDC I was able to get lower vertical resolution work. For instance 1024x300. This way the bottom half is black. Which is good. However, when I change pLayerCfg.ImageWidth to 800 I get garbage. I I set it to 1022 the image is skewed. I also played with pLayerCfg.WindowX0 and pLayerCfg.WindowX1, but it doesn't seem to do anything. #include "ltdc.h" /* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */ #include <gui_generated/common/SimConstants.hpp> /* USER CODE END 0 */ LTDC_HandleTypeDef hltdc; /* LTDC init function */ void MX_LTDC_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN LTDC_

I have a question about configuring pin D1 for UART1 TX (in conjunction with pin E2, UART1 RX).Pin D1 has the option for PA11, [PA9], PA8Pin E2 has the option for PA12, [PA10], PA71. To use pin D1 for UART1 TX, PA11 must be switched to PA9 (SYSCFG_CFGR1: PA11_RMP: = 1).2. To use pin E2 as PA12, E2 (PA7 default) must be switched to PA12 (SYSCFG_CFGR3: PINMUX4[1:0] = 1).3. To use pin E2 for UART1 RX, PA12 must be switched to PA10 (SYSCFG_CFGR1: PA12_RMP: = 1). Question:What is the default setting for pin D1 (PA11 or PA8)? How is PA11 bound to pin D1? I am missing a setting like (2.) for pin D1. I could not find anything in the manual.When I configure this setting with STM32CubeMX, the following code is generated:HAL_SYSCFG_EnableRemap(SYSCFG_REMAP_PA11); // (1.) HAL_SYSCFG_EnableRemap(SYSCFG_REMAP_PA12); // (3.) HAL_SYSCFG_SetPinBinding(HAL_BIND_WLCSP12_PINE2_PA12); // (2.)Where is the binding for pin D1? Many thanks in advance.Dirk

Hi all,I am a newer STM32 programmer, and I have been working on the STM32H745 Discovery board for the last few months. Something that I would like to do is be able to switch into USB DFU Mode within a UI that I have made for this board. I took inspiration from this post and changed the address to the appropriate one for the STM32H745. I would like to prerequisite that the USB port is initially configured as a VCP/CDC device. Here is the code that I have:void (*SysMemBootJump) (void); void USB_BootloaderInit() { volatile uint32_t addr = 0x1FFF9800; //from AN2606 __disable_irq(); // Reset USB OTG_FS // Disable caches SCB_DisableICache(); SCB_DisableDCache(); // Remap vector table HAL_RCC_DeInit(); //Reset the system clock SysTick->CTRL = 0; //Reset the SysTick Timer SysTick->LOAD = 0; SysTick->VAL = 0; SysMemBootJump = (void (*)(void)) (*((uint32_t *)(addr + 4))); //Point the PC to the System Memory reset vector __set_MSP(*(uint32_t *)addr); //Set the M

Hi, I'm trying to configure an STM32H753 FDCAN peripheral to be compatible with both CAN-FD & CAN 2.0 frames, in both the Tx & Rx directions.   How should I configure the FD-CAN peripheral to achieve this? I've been through he RM0433 document as best I can and am struggling to find this information.
