Hi all,Im using STM32F410 uart 1 to transmit and receive.I use DMA to transmit bytes. I then use TC interrupt to send a break, then push an event to an event queue to signal that the transmitter is free.void interface_uart_tx_eot_isr(if_uart_t* p) { if (p->tx_last_in_chunk) { // Transmit break at end of tx work LockFromISR(); p->uart_dev->usart->CR1 |= USART_CR1_SBK; UnlockFromISR(); // register event for more tx data p->transmit_empty_handlerI(p->event_source); } }On the same uart I use DMA in circular mode to dump incoming bytes.Im using framing error interrupt to wake up a worker to deal with the received data. For the sake of this explanation, I have three stm32f410 devices connected in a ring1Tx -> 2Rx, 2Tx -> 3Rx, 3Tx -> 1Rx.So it is possible for, eg, device 2 to be recieving data as it is sending data. This is working well except:I find occasionally that I am missing a break interrupt and I'm pretty lost figuring it out.Oscilloscope shot uart_brea

Hello, I have a problem with a STM32L431CC generating a circular PWM burst with the DMA. I am using the Timer1 to generate 4 PWM signals on the Pins PA8, PA9, PA10, PA11. The systemclock of the Timer 1 is 80 MHz. The frequency of the PWM signal should be 20kHz. I have attached the code snipped were i configured the GPIO, Timer and DMA in the software. I get no PWM signal from the GPIO pins. When I manipulate the CCRx registers of the Timer1 with the ST Link debugger, I am able to generate PWM signals with the correct frequency and duty cycle. I suspect that the Timer1 do not make a DMA request and I am not able to find the failure. The DMA do not set any interrupt flags. Also when I manipulate the DMAR register of Timer1, I can see a valid PWM signal. Would be great when someone can support me Thanks Patrick     #define TIM1_PSC_INIT 0u #define TIM1_ARR_INIT 3999u /* ~20 kHz at 80MHz systemclock frequency */ #define TIM1_RCR_INIT 0u uint16_t volatile tim1_dma_buffer[] = {

I flashed firmware that sets. Now STM32Cubeprogrammer refuses to connect to the STLINK portion. How to recover from this / debrick the boards ? I tried pulling up PA14 / boot0 pin with a pull-up to CN7 pin 7, but no such luck...

I cannot get STM32WLE5 (on a RAK3172 module) to exit from stop mode on either RTC timer or rising EXTI pin. I'm using STM Cube HAL functions and the stm32_lpm_if.c library. I have tried pin PB3 as either  EXTI3 or as PWR_WKUP3. If I use EXTI3, I set an interrupt handler. The handler gets called when the pin goes high in normal running, but when in stop2 mode, it does not wake up. Does anyone have example code using this chip/module to do a wakeup on timer OR external pin?

Hi there,I was trying to generate a STSPING4 project with MCSDK 5.Y.4.All the config and pin checks are successful. However, there is an error in the attached picture; also, the full LOG is attached.Seems some paths are incorrect, but I don't know how to fix them.Maybe I need to install something more? Or need to copy some folder somewhere?Thank you very much.

I have a few screenshots from a slide deck about the STSPIN32F0,but I can’t find the original presentation. It looks like it’s about PCB layout guidelines.Does anyone know where to get the full slide?

Hello, I am trying to use a HighTec Free GCC license with AutoDevKit Studio 2.6.1, but I cannot compile my project. Setup: OS: Windows IDE: AutoDevKit Studio 2.6.1 License: Free GCC Installed compiler: Only VLE compiler (ppc-vle-gcc.exe) is present; ppc-free-gcc.exe is missing Problem: AutoDevKit shows “No license for product (-1)”. Project’s Toolchain Editor only lists the VLE compiler. I am unable to add the Free GCC compiler manually because the executable is not in the installation. Request: Please provide instructions or a link to obtain the PowerPC Free GCC compiler (ppc-free-gcc.exe) compatible with my license. Guidance on installing and configuring it in AutoDevKit Studio so the license is recognized. Thank you.

Hello, We are looking to use the Wlc38 in Bi-directional mode alternating between RX and TX digital pings. We are wondering how much power consumption the digital ping takes and for what duration so we can calculate power consumption of pinging at various intervals. Thanks,RJ

Hi, I am using Touch GFX 4.26.0 and the EWARM9 compiler. It was announced that libcpp support was available from 4.25.0 onwards.I have confirmed that IAR9.x\touch_core_libcpp.a for cortex-m7 is supported. (STM32H7)However, I cannot build touch_core_libcpp.a for other cores, such as cortex-m33(STM32U5).As a temporary measure, I am using cortex-m7\IAR9.x\touch_core_libcpp.a for cortex-m33.Could there be a mistake in the compile switch when generating the library?I had the same issue with 4.25.0, and was hoping it would be fixed in 4.26.0, but it wasn't.エラー[Li009]: runtime model conflict: Module Font.o(touchgfx_core_libcpp.a) specifies that '__CPP_Library' must be 'DLib', but module AnalogInThread.o has the value 'libc++'

Hi,I am trying to get USBPD running. I need a simple example code without RTOS. So I used CubeMX. As far as I see it should be easy. All I need to do is:- Turn on the UCPD1 under Connectivity. Here I set "Source". - Turn on the UCPD1 Interrupt- Turn on USART1 - Set the DMA settings of UCPD1 and USART1 (here I have used the settings of the working CubeH5 project)- Turn on USBPD under middlewares- Enable TRACER under utilities- Enable TRACER in USBPD under middlewares- Enable GUI_INTERFACE under utilities This config should work, but it is not working. There is no event handling. Now I need help. The ioc file is included. RegardsRoman

I am migrating my project in CubeMX(6.15) from "FW_H7 V1.11.1" to "FW_H7 V1.12.1"I loose my QSPI configuration. It seems like a dependency to SPI2, but we are already using SPI in the old project. Please see the pictures from before and after upgrade. Also my project file file from before and after.

Hello everyone I am new to the STM boards I had received my board today I had tried the basic LED toggle code and it is working fine but can someone please guide me to see the debug message on the code like I can see the printf statements how can I see those debug messages can someone please help me.

Hello,Is there is any board delivered by STM32 with WiFi capabilities?BR

Greetings,There is a post explaining how the aci_gatt_write_char_desc() function should be used to enable notification events for a characteristic that may be notified by the server/peripheral.  The opcode, defined asrq.ogf = 0x3f;rq.ocf = 0x121;is the 16 bit opcode 0xFD21.  The September 2025 release of AN5270 (revision 32) omits this command. Can we get an update to the AN5270 with an explanation of this command?Cheers

Hello,I'm using STM32H75x and NOR flash e.g. IS29GL064. I get the NOR demo running but I'd like to do modifications in order to get rid of all the polling stuff.According to the demo, the FMC is configured like this hnor1.Init.NSBank = FMC_NORSRAM_BANK3; hnor1.Init.DataAddressMux = FMC_DATA_ADDRESS_MUX_DISABLE; hnor1.Init.MemoryType = FMC_MEMORY_TYPE_NOR; hnor1.Init.MemoryDataWidth = FMC_NORSRAM_MEM_BUS_WIDTH_16; hnor1.Init.BurstAccessMode = FMC_BURST_ACCESS_MODE_DISABLE; hnor1.Init.WaitSignalPolarity = FMC_WAIT_SIGNAL_POLARITY_LOW; hnor1.Init.WaitSignalActive = FMC_WAIT_TIMING_BEFORE_WS; hnor1.Init.WriteOperation = FMC_WRITE_OPERATION_ENABLE; hnor1.Init.WaitSignal = FMC_WAIT_SIGNAL_ENABLE; hnor1.Init.ExtendedMode = FMC_EXTENDED_MODE_DISABLE; hnor1.Init.AsynchronousWait = FMC_ASYNCHRONOUS_WAIT_ENABLE; hnor1.Init.WriteBurst = FMC_WRITE_BURST_DISABLE; hnor1.Init.ContinuousClock = FMC_CONTINUOUS_CLOCK_SYNC_ASYNC; hnor1.Init.WriteFifo = FMC_WRITE_FIFO_ENABLE; hnor1.Init.

some time when I try to import an existing project in file system into workspace every thing looks to work properly it find the project show the project name in the list but when I clic finish it never show in workspace here my information using 1.19 release of cube ide on a windows 11 host

I have a question regarding the absolute maximum ratings of the ASM330LHH.In the datasheet, the Vin rating lists “(including CS, SCL/SPC, SDA/SDI/SDO, SDO/SA0)”.Does this voltage range also include any overshoot and undershoot on these pins?Additionally, if overshoot or undershoot exceeds the absolute maximum ratings, what potential issues could occur (e.g., malfunction, degradation, or damage to internal circuitry)?

Hi, I’m developing a voice-control system on ST’s STEVAL-STWINBX1 evaluation board. I’d like to build on the original “Dual-mode application with STM32Cube.AI and NanoEdge™ AI” by replacing the anomaly-detection function with a binary classifier based on IMP23ABSU microphone data (“xiaobei” vs. “other”). I also plan to replace the original USC model with a 10-class classification model trained on IMP23ABSU microphone data. The intended behavior is: when the MCU recognizes “xiaobei,” it should wake the USC model; otherwise, it should not.My NanoEdge™ AI binary model is already running—when I execute start neai_class, I can see the classification output. However, after “xiaobei” is detected, the USC model fails to wake up and the firmware even falls into HardFault_Handler in some cases. I’m not sure what’s going wrong. Could you please share suggestions? For example, after modifying the USC model parameters, which source files need to be updated so the new model is compatible with t

Hello. I've been struggling to flash a simple TouchGFX application through the STM32 VS Code extension. I am using the Nucleo-G071RB dev board with the GFX01M2 display board. My project was initially created using the TouchGFX designer, then generated the CMake project in CubeMX. In VS Code, I added the SPI_FLASH section in  STM32G071RBTX_FLASH linker file, and the cmake/touchgfx sub directory in the CMakeLists. This allowed me to build the project with no errors. However, whenever I try to flash, I get the following:I suspect this has something the do with the external flash. I am aware of an external loader file that you have to select in STM32CubeIDE, but I'm not too sure what would be the equivalent in VS Code.

Hi,I am working with an STM32 microcontroller (STM32 C0 & STM32H5 series) and want to implement Modbus communication without using FreeRTOS . Most examples I found are based on FreeRTOS, but I need to handle Modbus protocol in a non-RTOS environment. Are there any recommended Modbus libraries that can work without an RTOS?

Hello, I'm having problems with a simple task: receive blocks of data from UART. The blocks are sequences of 1-300 bytes, that are receiveid with a 1 second interval. The value is stored in one buffer of 350 bytes. When I send a big block of 270 bytes after other blocks(of 60 bytes by example) in that 1s interval, the Stm32 RESETS! But if the interval is longer, like 5 seconds, it doesn't reset and receive the data correctly. I tried with pooling and interruption, the result is the same. I'm using 115200 baud. Lowering the baud rate also reduces the interval that doesn't cause a reset, but I can't use this solution.WatchDog is already disabled. By this moment, the code doesn't do anything more.
