We are using MCSDK 6.4.0 in Position Mode with a 3-Phase Motor with quadrature Encoder (only A+B phases, no Z Pin). How can the motor phases be swapped at runtime in Software (U,V,W -> V,U,W), e.g. when the motor is connector is wired in the opposite direction (but the motor encoder is wired correctly)?I know that i can set up the PWM Outputs in MC Workbench (as well as swap encoder pins), but i need a solution that can configure this at runtime without rebuilding the Project. I could not find a function for that (just feeding an inverted Position to MCI_ExecPositionCommand() does not take into account that the motor encoder is wired for an opposite direction as the motor phases). If this is currently not possible, can you add this feature in a future release?

In STM32CubeMX 6.15.0 / Win11 I generate a default CMake project for the Nucleo-G431KB board.The generated cmake/stm32cubemx/CMakeLists.txt contains:# STM32CubeMX generated symbols (macros) set(MX_Defines_Syms USE_NUCLEO_64 USE_HAL_DRIVER STM32G431xx $<$<CONFIG:Debug>:DEBUG> )but the board is a Nucleo-32, not 64. As a consequence, pinout is wrong, like a wrong pin for the USER_LED is assumed.hthKnarfB

Hi ST community// --- EDIT --- Missed preview and made some corrections / clarificationsI'm looking for a way to mount a SD card using the Azure RTOS UsbX MSC class, while the MCU is running. The code is mostly based on the ST examples, e.g.:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/x-cube-azrtos-h7/tree/main/Projects/STM32H735G-DK/Applications/USBX/Ux_Device_MSC The example expects that the SD card is already inserted on power up - therefore the MX_SDMMC1_SD_Init() is called before the USBX device is registered. Therefore the LBA and Blocksize values are already available when the USBX device is registered.I want to have a more general case, where I can remove and insert a SD card while the application is running. A separate thread (SD_thread_entry) which handles this behaviour and is waiting for the SD card pin to be detected. The card is then power reset, the HAL is initialized and the CardInfo read:void SD_thread_entry(ULONG thread_input) { // Thread variables ULONG flags; bool

Hi,is there a polling-only Linux C code example for the X-NUCLEO-NFC09A1? The demo app is IRQ based and we plan to use many readers so it would be convenient to save the IRQ pin and use only the CS pin per device.Regards.

Hello ST Team,I’m enabling the mailbox on an ST25DV tag and performing RF mailbox Write/Read using ISO15693 custom commands. I’d like to confirm the correct enable sequence and how to verify that the mailbox is truly enabled. What I observeI can send Write Message (0xAA) over RF and see HOST_PUT_MSG afterward. But reading MB_CTRL_Dyn shows 0x00, which suggests the mailbox isn’t enabled. My understandingFrom the docs, proper enable requires:Presenting the system password (if protection is active),Setting MB_MODE in the static FTM configuration,Setting MB_EN in MB_CTRL_Dyn (dynamic register).Only then should MB_CTRL_Dyn report enabled (e.g., MB_EN=1) and lengths appear in MB_LEN_Dyn.QuestionsWhat is the exact recommended RF sequence (request frames) to:Present password,Set MB_MODE (static FTM),Set MB_EN (dynamic control)?Should Write Message (0xAA) be accepted when MB_EN=0?After a correct enable, what values should I expect when reading MB_CTRL_Dyn and MB_LEN_Dyn?Is there an official exampl

Hi,I'm developing a board where i'm using the STM32WB55xx microcontroller. I do not intend to use the BLE interface for now and I do not want to have this pins wired. My question is what should i do with the RF1 pin of the microcontroller given that i do not intend to use the functionality. Should I leave it hanging or should it be connected to GND or VCC?Per the description of the datasheet, the RF1 pin is the pin to connect to an antenna. It's not clear on the Datasheet what to do when I do not intend to use it.   Best,Alessandro

Hi @FBL I am working on a similar project like This one (USB CDC ACM device with Power Delivery in Source mode using USBX in standalone mode, FreeRTOS and USBPD with a TCPP02). The STM32 used is the H573I.I have found some code to add in the function USBPD_DPM_Notification() in usbpd_dpm_user.c (solution you gave). But in my code, the functions called are undefined because the file usbpd_usb_if.c is not generated. What I am missing?

Hello!I am currently designing a flyback converter with the altair04-900.The .lib file in the spice model folder is encrypted. I cannot open it neither with Altium nor with ltSpice.I would like to know, which simulation software can decrypt it? And, more specifically, if there is any free simulation software?

Hi there,I am newbie to motor control, and I am studing how to use the excellent tool named MCSDK6.Below is my work follows(MCU is STSPIN32G4):1. open MCSDK6 and select my custom board and motor, generate the project;2. open cubeMx configurate the others PINs, then generate the project;3. write some app code;4. i find the motor config is something wrong, so I open MCSDK6, change the config and generate the project again;5. then I found the config in step2 is lost.Is anything I did wrong? I think if the config could keep is better. Thanks for you help.

Dear, Anyone unable to download Linux CubeIDE like me? Tried Windows version also not available? Thanks,

I have been trying to update a wild caard text area.updateTarget will be called externally, value passed in will be 0-100I started calling the function with 0 -> 10 -> 20...etc incrementally. However whenever I passed the 100, the value will fallback to 0 and start again. This is the where the problem occursOnce I reached 100, and then the 0 will be displayed properly, but for later values there will be a "0" in the third character, even though I have checked the buffer is set properly. The pattern is 0 -> 10 -> 20 -> 30 ... -> 100 -> 0 -> 100 -> 20 -> 300 -> 40 -> 500...etcBelow is an exaple of the buffer being set to  "30" in asciiBut the display is  If I didnt trigger any screen update, after some time I can see there is a frame rendered (around per ~30s)And the the display is back to normal again It seems to be there is some kind of cache?Anyone has a similar issue? I am using the STM32U5G9J-DK2TouchGFX: 4.26&nbsp

Hello,I'm trying to port the ST IMX335 camera driver middleware to work with the RPi 2 IMX219. Everything works well with the IMX335, however after adjusting to reflect the IMX219 registers I get no image data and a Lane 0& 1 control error flag as soon as I enable streaming.I've switched to using Dump Pipe 0 and reduced the CSI speed but it made no difference.I'm using binning and a reduced ROI to reduce the amount of data coming off the camera. Has anyone has a similar issue? Thanks

Hi everyone,I'll start by saying I'm just starting to use STM32cubeIDE. I'm having trouble configuring the microros configuration  in my project involving an STM32F767zi board.Specifically, I managed to include everything I needed, and now when I compile, the result is as follows: make -j8 all docker pull microros/micro_ros_static_library_builder:jazzy && docker run --rm -v /home/guglielmo/PROJECTS/provamicroros:/project --env MICROROS_LIBRARY_FOLDER=micro_ros_stm32cubemx_utils/microros_static_library_ide microros/micro_ros_static_library_builder:jazzyjazzy: Pulling from microros/micro_ros_static_library_builderDigest: sha256:1482f3df56184ecc5d4a9d45ad9be0a17a84a91fca947d07f20d1678b23f6243Status: Image is up to date for microros/micro_ros_static_library_builder:jazzydocker.io/microros/micro_ros_static_library_builder:jazzydos2unix: converting file /project/micro_ros_stm32cubemx_utils/microros_static_library_ide/library_generation/library_generation.sh to Unix format..

Hello, dear community!I have a problem with adding more than one button to my STM32 Button Box / joystick with buttons. I am using USB HID.I made it as simple as possible - only two buttons, simplest descriptor. The problem may be trivial, but after 4 days and ~8 hours per day - I can't find solution. I watched most of the STM32 USB training course (on yt), I was digging deep in st forum and google/bing/yahoo, but nothing helped. I think there is not a ready answer to my problem in the whole internet.About the problem: One button (the first one) is working flawlessly, but when i try to USBD_HID_SendReport for another button - nothing happens. My descriptor:  // HID Report Descriptor 0x05, 0x01, // Usage Page (Generic Desktop) 0x09, 0x04, // Usage (Joystick) 0xA1, 0x01, // Collection (Application) 0x15, 0x00, // Logical Minimum (0) 0x25, 0x01, // Logical Maximum (1) 0x75, 0x01, // Report Size (1 bit) 0x95, 0x02, // Report Count (2 buttons) 0x05, 0x09, // Usage Page (

Hi everyone,I’m using STM32CubeIDE 1.19.0 with an STM32G431K6T6, and I’m having two issues in the CubeMX configuration that I can’t seem to solve:LSE clock configuration not availableIn the RCC tab, I can only configure the HSE clock (High Speed Crystal/Ceramic Resonator, LSCO, etc.).There’s no option to enable or select the LSE (Low Speed External) oscillator. The tool shows this message:“LSE OSC is not available. To enable it, go back to IP RCC in Pinout Tab.” But when I open the RCC configuration, there’s still no LSE or LSI section available.ADC12 clock selection is greyed outWhen I enable ADC1 (ADC12) in the Pinout view, the ADC clock source field is greyed out and cannot be changed.CubeIDE shows this message:“ADC12 Clock Selection is not available. To enable it, one of the following RCC modes or IPs have to be configured from the Pinout Tab: - ADC12 enabled.” But ADC1 is already enabled, and I still can’t select the ADC clock.I’ve already tried:Enabling/disabling ADC1 and reconfig

Not sure whether its me looking at the wrong places but I can't find the project that came with the Nucleo-FR401RE eval board? Looked under the STM32CubeF4 examples, nothing seems to match. Can somebody point me to the right place?Thanks-- Alex

Hello all, I am following the following guide: https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP25_Discovery_kits_-_Starter_Package In order to bring up a STM32MP257F-DK board and am running into a problem when I try to use the Programmer to flash the board. Dear all,Can you please help to point me to any of the repeat button implementation example?I have successfully implement the single button with plus and minus but the number target is too big and it is taking too many clicks to get to the target number.  I would like to use the repeat button feature to achieve the goal that if the repeat button is holding, the setting will go faster and reach the goal.

hello everyone ,i am using stm32f1 and cubeide , i want to put a 16bit security key on flash memory position page 63 during compile or build process ,is it possible ?

I am using NUCLEO-G071RB. I am trying to generate an PWM pulse. I am using TIMER 3 Channel 2. - Clock Frequency = 64 MHzWith this setting I should get a HIGH pulse of 90 micro second, instead I get 80 or 40 micro seconds. When the Pre-scaler is increased to 640-1,  I received HIGH pulse of 980 and 920 micro second which was also not accurate.

Hi All, I am using ThreadX on an STM32H753. The version of ThreadX being used is 6.1. I use this older version because it is ISO-62304 certified. All is functioning as desired but each time I execute code generation from CubeMX the ThreadX files are overwritten with version 6.4 (not certified). Is there any way I can avoid the update of ThreadX when I regenerate the code from CubeMX? Thank You, Gil

Hi,Trying to set Option Bytes over USB with DFU protocol to STM32G0C1VET6's embedded System Bootloader results in a LIBUSB Pipe Error.Steps to reproduce with details captured further below:Fully erase user flash using STM32CubeProgrammer connected to target via SWD through J-Link.  This erases the user flash (512KB at 0x08000000).  Option Bytes are at defaults (128-bytes @ 0x1FFF7800).  OTP is at default (1K @ 0x1FFF7000).Remove J-Link USB connection.Power-cycle target.Enumerate target's USB (D+ is PA12, D- is PA11) to host.  Since flash is empty micro enters embedded bootloader regardless of the state of BOOT0 pin.Host sees USB DFU device.`lsusb -vvv` shows DFU device with 3 interface descriptors:alt 0 is: @Internal Flash /0x08000000/256*02Kgalt 1 is: @Internal Flash /0x08000000/256*02Kgalt 2 is: @Internal Flash /0x08000000/256*02Kg`dfu-util -l` shows DFU device with 3 interface descriptors:alt=0, name="@Internal Flash /0x08000000/256*02Kg", serial="<REDACT

Hello,We have bought the new AI Assistant board from Seeed Studio and we need some help on how we can connect an external debugger. We have two STLink/V2 debuggers, the plain and the ISOL version. However with the cables that they have we cannot connect any of them to the 8-pin debug port of the Seeed board. We assume that the necessary pins are on the STM32 connector, but which are they? Additionally the picture of the STLink/V2 debugger in:https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/ai_assistant_getting_started/#additional-documentation-of-the-applicationdoes not correspond to the debugger we have. Is that a different board from the one we have?https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/st-link-v2.html#overviewThanks in advance
