Posted on May 30, 2017 at 09:13Hi, I'm looking for a spatial component (ESA qualified would be better) which is equivalent to an Eight Darlington Array like the series ULQ280X. Thank you ! Have a nice day !

Posted on May 29, 2017 at 16:41 Hello, I am developing an application using a CAN bus and 2 differentMCU: STM32F407 and STM32F The code for the STM32F407 works fine. Icanseedata on the bus using an oscillo. However, the STM32F302 does not ack the message and does not transmit either. The STM32F302 works in loop back mode, but in normal mode, I cannot get it to send data on the Tx line. the tx line is always high and the Tx Mailbox just stays full. I suppose the problem is in the GPIO initialization, but cannot find the problem :( Any help is welcome. void CAN_Config() { CAN_InitTypeDef CAN_InitStructure; GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStructure; /* Enable CAN clock */ RCC_APB1PeriphClockCmd(RCC_APB1Periph_CAN1, ENABLE); /* Enable GPIO clock */ RCC_AHBPeriphClockCmd(RCC_AHBPeriph_GPIOA, ENABLE); /* Connect CAN pins to AF */ GPIO_PinAFConfig(GPIOA, GPIO_PinSource11, GPIO_AF_9); GPIO_PinAFConfig(GPIOA, GPIO_PinSource12, GPIO_AF_9); /* Configure CAN RX and TX pins */ GPIO_Ini

Posted on April 13, 2017 at 20:38Has anyone else run into this problem? If I start a new project for the STM32F746G-DISCO board, the pinout view is glacially slow. It doesn't respond well to input, for example clicking any of the drop down menus in the peripheral configuration takes upwards of 20-30 seconds to display the menu.I'm on a 2016 Macbook Pro with macOS Sierra.

Posted on February 02, 2017 at 11:51Hello,in thehttp://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/resources/resource-selector.html?querycriteria=productId=FM141$$resourceCategory=technical_literature$$resourceType=programming_manual the latest update field is empty. With the lastest update date given, a search for what has changed would be easy. Without that date, one has to navigate to the product and compare the document revision there with the the local revision. Is there another way to see what documents changed?Thanks

Dedicated interrupt request for each interrupt3. One UART(for programming)4. One I2C (100kHz)5. Clock source : external crystal support, clock should be higher than 40MHz.6. Pin count : 32 to 487. Flash : 32kB to 128kBIs any microcontroller available with these features?

Posted on May 24, 2017 at 03:21Hello,I would like to use an USART with DMA (peripheral to memory) with FIFO enabled in a circular mode on the STM32F205.My stream of data is pretty random and I would like to process the memory buffered data on the fly.The problem is that the NDTR value is taking into account also the data in the FIFO, so that I can not know how much data is in the memory.Is there any way to know the exact amount of data in memory and the exact state of the FIFO on the fly in the program?Kind regards,Greg

Posted on May 24, 2017 at 11:49Hi, I've got this from the F446 data sheet.I hope that I can run TIM2 at 180MhzHowever, it seems that APB1 peripheral CLK can only run at 90Mhz as the cubeMX indicates as followed:So can I really make TIM2 run at 180MHz or not?!Thanks for reading!,Zt #tim2 #stm32f4 #clock-configuration #cube-mx #stm32f446

Posted on May 24, 2017 at 18:24For my design i am already using STM32F429BI--LQFP208 package, Now i am looking to replace this with STM32F777BI-LQFP208, both are pin compatible..Question: In the data sheet of STM32F777BI Its mentioned that GPIO'S=159 in the page number 17,but in STM32F429BI Its mentioned that GPIO'S=168 in page number 16,so what is the difference.The above one is STM32F777BI,http://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/datasheet/group3/8a/34/ed/7e/4c/04/4b/7a/DM00225424/files/DM00225424.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00225424.pdf The above one is STM32F429BI,http://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/datasheet/03/b4/b2/36/4c/72/49/29/DM00071990.pdf/files/DM00071990.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00071990.pdfBUT in the front page of the datasheet -product description its mentioned i/o's 168 in both of the data sheetand also in the ST.COM  its mentioned i/o's 168 I/O'SSo my question is what is this differen

Posted on May 22, 2017 at 15:35The STM32L471 Errata document states that:  An overconsumption can appear on VDDA in the following conditions:• a voltage VPAD is applied on PA3 or PB0 with VDDA+ 50 mV < VPAD < VDDA + 600 mV ...Our application uses PB0 as a GPIO output with a voltage in the range described above.  Is that matching the condition 'a voltage VPAD is applied'?

Posted on May 05, 2017 at 16:11Hi community,I'm using stm32f769i-disco to make a serial communication with a Vacuum Transducer (925 MicroPirani).The 925 transducer can provide pressure mesurement output as RS232 digital value.Pressure request :Query: @253PR1?;FFQuery reply: @253ACK9.00E+2;FFThe discovery card transmit the request bufftr[30] = @253PR1?;FF via the HAL_UART_Transmit(&UartHandle, bufftr, 30, 100)and the 925 transducer send the pressure value that is to say that the discovery card receive the reply for her request via HAL_UART_Receive(&UartHandle, buffrec, 30, 100); buffrec[30]=@253ACK9.00E+2;FF Then I use double pression to get just the bit 7,12,13 of the buffrec and finally I display this value in the LCD.Here is my code:int main(void){  MPU_Config();CPU_CACHE_Enable(); HAL_Init();SystemClock_Config();/* Enalbe clock for USART6 and GPIOC */__HAL_RCC_GPIOC_CLK_ENABLE();__HAL_RCC_USART6_CLK_ENABLE();__HAL_UART_ENABLE(&UartHand

Posted on April 14, 2017 at 11:32Hello,In order to have more than 6 services on my BlueNRG-MS device, I wanted to create a service that will add/remove the other ones.At the beginning, it worked well, I could choose the services I wanted to activate but quickly, a problem appear. Indeed, it seems that the memory is not freed after deleting characteristics and services : after few adding/removing, I can't anymore add service because of a out of memory error.I use the aci_gatt_del_char and aci_gatt_del_service functions to remove a service but is there something more to do ?Thanks,Julien#bluenrg-ms #ble

Posted on May 19, 2017 at 14:32Hi,I have an STM32F1 and am running the UART printf example from the standard peripheral library. I've modified the code to allow me to use USART3 (I'm using a custom pcba and only USART3 is wired to a connector mounted on the board). I've connected USART3 to a serial terminal on my computer (RealTerm) using an FTDI USB-UART converter. I am successfully receiving data from the UART but the data is incorrect and the terminal complains of a framing error. I am transmitting a single character 'T' but am receiving unknown data:I am convinced that there is a problem in my code, most likely in how I have configured USART3, but am not sure where. I have checked that my baud rate etc is good in both the code, cable and terminal.Can anyone help me with this? What is the most likely reason I am not receiving the correct data?Cheers,Tony#stm32-f1 #framing-error #usart

Posted on May 22, 2017 at 16:07Hello,the pinout view of Cube is good for planning pin assignment. However I don't see an item for SWD/JTAG to reserve the needed pins.  Do I miss something? Otherwise Cube should get entries for JTAG/SWD.

Posted on May 18, 2017 at 17:51Hi all,In my application I am using M24SR02 where the same part of the chip is being read through NFC and I2C interface at the same time. NFC reader is working in infinite loop and does two things:1) Reads 0x10 bytes from 0x0097 offset2) Issues SendInterrupt command to toggle GPO pin on M24SR02MCU that is driving I2C interface does the following in infinite loop:1) waits for GPO toggle2) issues KillRFsession command over I2C3) issues NDEF Tag Application Select,  NDEF Select commands4) Issues ReadBinary command to read 0x02 bytes from 0x0000 offset to get NDEF message length. The returned length is 0xE55) Finally issues ReadBinary command to read 0x10 bytes from 0x0097 offset.Most of the time ReadBinary works fine returning correct data. Sometimes it returns 0x6A 0x86 status meaning 'Incorrect P1 or P2 values' even if ReadBinary command is always the same (checked with oscilloscope). The same thing happens when I use ExtendedRead

Posted on May 19, 2017 at 17:25Hi!When I flash a .hex or .bin file with a ST-LINK V2 device on my STM32F4 microcontroller (with ST-LINK utility), the program only works if both the ST-LINK V2 and my MCU board stay connected to the computer (through a USB cable). Whenever I unplug one of them the program just flashed on the board does not run anymore.Does anyone have any idea of what is happening ?Thanks for your help!#st-link #flash-stm32 #st-link-utility

Posted on April 30, 2017 at 15:09Hi,Creating a EmWin application based on a STM32F746 Disco, using OpenSTM32. I toke the STemWin example application as a starting point. Occasionally (once every 1-3 hours of operation) I'm running into a Hard Fault (stm32f7xx_it.c -> HardFault_Handler()).The default HardFault_Handler doesn't give me a root cause. I use the description below to further extent the HardFault_Handler. https://blog.frankvh.com/2011/12/07/cortex-m3-m4-hard-fault-handler/I have implemented the code below in startup_stm32f746xx.s.HardFault_Handler:  TST LR, #4  ITE EQ  MRSEQ R0, MSP  MRSNE R0, PSP  B hard_fault_handler_cNow when a hard fault occurs the MCU is stuck at line “TST LR, #4?, not sure what I’m doing wrong. Maybe this assembler code is not compatible with Cortex M7?What is the best and fastest way to track down the actual hard fault root cause on a Cortex M7?Thanks.

Posted on May 18, 2017 at 22:10In I-CUBE-LRWAN V1.1.0 RegionCommon.c there's a function that returns the next duty cycle delay as follows:TimerTime_t RegionCommonUpdateBandTimeOff( bool dutyCycle, Band_t* bands, uint8_t nbBands ){    TimerTime_t nextTxDelay = ( TimerTime_t )( -1 );   // Update bands Time OFF    for( uint8_t i = 0; i < nbBands; i++ )    {       if( dutyCycle == true )      {          if( bands[i].TimeOff <= TimerGetElapsedTime( bands[i].LastTxDoneTime ) )         {            bands[i].TimeOff = 0;          }          if( bands[i].TimeOff != 0 )          {    &n

Posted on May 08, 2017 at 01:17The LSM9DS1 data sheet shows that the accelerometer/gyroscope module's two interrupts can be configured either as open-drain or push/pull.  However, I am missing the description of the magnetometer module's interrupt.  I assume that means it is fixed and cannot be user-configured.  Is it fixed as open-drain type, or as push/pull type?#interrupts #lsm9ds1 #push-pull-output-or-open-drain-output
