Posted on October 19, 2017 at 13:55Hi community!I would like to connect STM32F405VG SDIO interface. What is the best way to do it?I implemented the following example:Best regards.

Posted on October 16, 2017 at 02:56 When I installed the software for the first time, it works fine. Clicking 'Datasheet' icon will open the pdf file. Now this icon is shown as gray, and can't be clicked. I have downloaded all the documents on my computer. When I click 'refresh data' in help menu, 'download all documents', these windows pop up. Does anyone have the same problem with me? I need your help, thank you.

Posted on October 18, 2017 at 19:42Hi all,My custom designed bare STM32L052C (QFP48) board refuses to talk to external debuggers (STLinkV2, JLink) when the power goes below 3.0 Volts on Vdd pins.Only SWD interface and step-down power source are connected. The target voltage is detected correctly by both external debuggers. STLinkV2 is completely new, never connected before. I tried switching debuggers, connecting external PSU, checking all SWD pins, with the same results.The SWD signals, with the exception of 22 Ohm serial resistors, are pretty much the same as in STM32L073Z-EVAL board, which by the way have been proven to work well down to 1.8 V, using the very same equipment. Reset and SWDIO are normally high when the debugger is connected. BOOT0 is grounded.I did my best to follow AN4467 'Getting started with STM32L0xx hardware development' during HW design. Since this is an ultra low power application, I omitted 1uF and 4.7 uF blocking capacitors. The board works reliably at 3.3 V

Posted on October 18, 2017 at 09:29Good morning,I'm working with STM32L475 MCU. I have no problems in programming it via SW interface, but I'm facing some problems when trying to program it via USB port (using Dfuse demo program by ST).First, I use Dfu file manager tool to generate DFU file from the HEX file I have created with Keil.Then, I use DFU Dfuse Demo tool (v3.0.5): I set boot0 and I can program without problems my device but it does not work. If I program with the same tool and I check 'Verify after download', I get the error 'Matching not good. First Difference at address 0x0801E8C0: File byte is 0x30; Read byte is 0xFF'Do you know why I get such behaviour?How can I solve it?#dfuse #dfu #stm32l475

Posted on October 17, 2017 at 11:56I would like to add some source files to the source folder. the files name are :clock.c   and so on.but build faild.I know that this is a problem in the makefile, and SP5Studio provides  clock.c?components.c .and My source files also have Clock.c and components.c...Causes the makefile rule to check for an error.I think you should develop an eclipse plugin，like this:In this case, the generated Makefile will not appear above the error

Posted on October 17, 2017 at 10:45Hi.I'd like to use external interrupt PA1 nad PB1 pin.But I found the following image, I think I can't use the external interrupt PA1 and PB1. Probably I think I have to  use only one to interrupt set.Can I separately set to the one EXTIx?because before system already use PB1 for external interrupt /* PB1 is connected to EXTI_Line0 :: Configuration AFIO_EXTICRx */ GPIO_EXTILineConfig(GPIO_PortSourceGPIOB, GPIO_PinSource1);/* EXTI Line0 Configuration */ EXTI_InitStructure.EXTI_Line = EXTI_Line1; EXTI_InitStructure.EXTI_LineCmd = ENABLE; /* Enable interrupt */ EXTI_InitStructure.EXTI_Mode = EXTI_Mode_Interrupt; /* Interrupt mode */ EXTI_InitStructure.EXTI_Trigger = EXTI_Trigger_Rising; EXTI_Init(&EXTI_InitStructure);/* Enable and set EXTI0 Interrupt to the lowest priority */NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannel = EXTI1_IRQn; NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelPreemptionPriority = 0x01; NVIC_InitStructure.NVIC_IRQChannelSubPriority = 0x01; NV

Posted on October 11, 2017 at 23:35Hello,I am having some difficulties wrapping my head around what's happening with my TIM3 interrupt.  I am creating a timer class for my application.  It needs a 1 microsecond resolution.  For some reason I can only achieve a 2 microsecond resolution.  I started with the STM32F7Cube TIM_Base example for this Nucleo board.  The system core clock is 216MHz.  I have hopefully followed the instructions for configuring the timer using the method from the MCU documentation:Update_event = TIM_CLK/((PSC + 1)*(ARR + 1)*(RCR + 1))  My code is as follows:// Initialize TIMx peripheral as follows for a 1us tick (1MHz): // + Period = SystemCoreClock/1000000 - 1 // + ClockDivision = 0 // + Counter direction = Up TimHandle.Init.Period = (SystemCoreClock/TICK_RATE_HZ) - 1; // TICK_RATE_HZ = 1x10^6 TimHandle.Init.Prescaler = 0; TimHandle.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; TimHandle.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP

Posted on October 16, 2017 at 05:50Hi, I have got an issue with STM32F107 bootloader. The jump to application fails and results in hardfault. Before jumping, I have disabled all interrupts including systick timer and also set the MSP to the initial value as needed for the application program. Is there anything else to be taken care of, before making the jump? Could someone help? I have just copied the relevant part of my code below./********************************* declarations  and defines     ****************************/unsigned               *p;void                       (*user_code_entry)(void);unsigned int          Address_PgrmCounter;#define                  APPLICATIONADDRESS          (unsigned int)0x800e000/********************************* reset system and disabl

Posted on October 16, 2017 at 10:18Hello.So in STM32F205RE flash memory spans from 0x08000000 to 0x0807FFFF. Any app will be programmed starting from the address 0x08000000. But I want to place it at the starting address of 0x08040000 and don't use the beginning of the flash at all. I'm using IAR and I changed the ROM boundaries in the Linker file to be 0x08040000-0x0807FFFF, vector table starting address also moved to 0x08040000 and finally SCB->VTOR = 0x08040000. But the program just doesn't work. It loads my app to the flash, but it doesn't work properly. For some reason it gets stuck on the first while() located in RCC (while ((RCC->BDCR & RCC_BDCR_LSERDY)==0);) and in the debugger it feels like it doesn't do anything before that (even though it shows that it does) -- step overs are done very quickly, in a instant.So is it supposed to be not working like that and application have to be placed at the beginning of flash or am I missing something? I wanted to place a custom

Posted on June 03, 2017 at 20:12I have a board which was designed to use the STM32L433CCU6 and am attempting to use it with an STM32L452CEU6.  The board works perfectly fine with the 433, but I am struggling a bit with the 452.  The problem I was facing is that I am attempting (and failing) to use the HSI as the clock source for LPUART1.  The UART was transmitting but not being understood, and reporting errors when attempting to read.After a bit of work, I have it working fine with the PCLK1 (via HSE/PLL) at 38400bps, but I need to operate at 9600bps.   This cannot be done with an 80MHz clock.In order to see what was going on, I connected HSI to MCO and measured the frequency.  At an ambient temperature of 21C, the HSI on one MCU is running at 13.89MHz and another at 14.29MHz.  That seems excessively out of spec to me.  Doing some digging, it appears that the HSI is not being calibrated properly.I am using STMCubeMX 4.20.1 and the 1.7.0 ver

Posted on October 13, 2017 at 21:38NucleoF722ZE board, Stm32CubeMX ver 4.22.1, Eclipse Version: Neon.3 Release (4.6.3)I wanted to setup TIM6 as timer interrupt for 400usec sampling loop. In CubeMX : TIM6 clocked at 1Mhz and ARR = 400, TIM6 Configuration/NVIC settings/Enabled (TIM6 global interrupt), then in NVIC Configuration/enabled TIM6 global interrupt with Preemp Priority=10 and Sub Priority=0. Then Generate code. The generated code seemed to be OK, and it also had  set NVIC interrupt priority and enable as below.HAL_NVIC_SetPriority(TIM6_DAC_IRQn, 10, 0);HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM6_DAC_IRQn);I added code to toggle the LED inside the ISR void TIM6_DAC_IRQHandler (void) and it never triggered.Result:TIM6  was counting OK (read TIM6.CNT and outputted on PWM pin for monitoring), but there was  no timer overflow interrupt generated.  However after adding TIM6.DIER = 1; // DMA/interrupt enable, then it worked.What I need to add TIM6.DIER=1; instead of by CubeM

Posted on October 05, 2017 at 08:25Hi,I´m using a STM32F469I_Eval and in the Examples provides with STM32Cube_FW_F4, I can see that there are some Linked Resources (FILES). If I edit the .project file there are something like that:<link> <name>Drivers/STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver/stm32f4xx_hal.c</name> <type>1</type> <locationURI> copy_PARENT1/Drivers/STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32f4xx_hal.c</locationURI> </link><link> <name>Drivers/BSP/STM32469I_EVAL/stm32469i_eval.c</name> <type>1</type> <locationURI>copy_PARENT1/Drivers/BSP/STM32469I_EVAL/stm32469i_eval.c</locationURI> </link>But if I want to create my own project I only can create a Linked Resource (FOLDER). If I edit the .project there are something like that:<link> <name>HAL</name> <type>2</type> <location>C:/workspace/SystemWorkbenchForSTM32/STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver</location> </link>&

Posted on May 01, 2017 at 14:06Hello STM community,I am trying to implement Ethernet communication to PC from STM32F746 discovery board. In doing so I have used STMcubeMX for the driver generation and also seeking some help from examples given by st repository version 1.7.0.Now, When I am running example of 'LwIP_HTTP_Server_Netconn_RTOS', Everythings seems normal. It works as described.Going further in the custom project, I have added Lwip middleware, Ethernet RMII mode and some standard peripherals such as LCD and SDRAM (as given in the board selection/initialization). Also I am using static Ip address and would use udp for data transfer.When I try to debug the custom project that I can see that it sends the gratituous ARP on network and if I hard code it to send multiple ARP request that still it's capable to do so. However, there is no frames received. In receive part, no functions are called such as low_level_input or  ethernet_input.Could anyone suggest me where should
