hi, i am trying to do project with STM32H743ZIT chip and STM32CUBEMX program to generate code.there is no option for touchGFX of STM32H743ZIT in STM32CUBEMX i made STM32H743ZIT code from STM32CUBEMX and touchGFX code from touchGFX designer.can you explain how to integrate two project files step by step?

I would like to add/modify source/sink PDOs in EVAL_FUSB307_DRP project ?Please advice. Here is my environment.- STM32CubeExpansion_USBPD_F0_V2.1.0

I found CMACRO "_TRACE" in USBPD project in STM32CubeExpansion_USBPD_F0_V2.1.0.I think I can enable usbpd debug trace feature using _TRACE. However, I can not find way check debug trace in my environment. I am using KEIL MDK ARM. Please advise.

Hi there,There have been various permutations of this issue across the forums, but I can't seem to get any definitive solutions for this. Trying to get some help to resolve this issue. We are trying to incorporate USB CDC into a design and can't seem to get this working on the STM32H745ZI-Q NUCLEO development board that we have. Every time the firmware is running, device manager shows Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed), (Error 43) when board is plugged in through OTG port. These steps tend to work on other boards, so I'm wondering if there's something fishy with the generated Cube code.Details:STM32CubeMX v. 5.4.0STM32CubeIDE v. 1.1.0STM32Cube FW_H7 v. 1.5.0Windows 10ST CDC driver installedClock Configuration:HSE 8 MHz crystalPLLs:DIVM1 /2DIVN1 x240DIVP1 /2DIVQ1 /2DIVM3 /1DIVN3 x24DIVQ3 /4USB clock is 48 MHz (PLL3Q source) (also tried RC48)Linker Settings:Minimum Heap Size 0x2000 (also tried 0x1000 and above)Minimum Stack Size 0x2000Cube Configuration Steps:Created new

Hello,I am configuring pin map for SPC560B50L1. I expect to configure pins 14 and 15 as CANFlex0 TX and RX respectively.Due to manual, pin 15 is the one for CAN-RX for my 64-pin UC:But this pin has no other option to select than SIUL/GPIO17:For another CANbus (CANFlex3) there is an option CAN3RX for the pin 62, so I think it is a bug of SPC5Studio, isn't it? Or am I doing something wrong?Best Regards,Yannek

Usecase:Using the SDMMC module with DMA in HS mode (clock bypass @48MHz following CMD6 switch CMD), the SDMMC_IT_DTIMEOUT interrupt is raised when waiting few dozen of seconds after last successful data transfer (FATFS f_read in this case). The HAL_SD_IRQHandler then calls the SD_DMARxAbort callbacks which sets the hsd->hdmatx to NULL.Thus the following data transfer are locked as calls to HAL_SD_GetState(&sSdHdl) never return HAL_SD_STATE_READY.Cause:The SD_DMAReceiveCplt which is triggered before HAL_SD_IRQHandler clears the SDMMC_FLAG_DATAEND. Then the HAL_SD_IRQHandler checks for SDMMC_FLAG_DATAEND fails and the call to __HAL_SD_DISABLE_IT(hsd, SDMMC_IT_DATAEND | SDMMC_IT_DCRCFAIL | SDMMC_IT_DTIMEOUT | SDMMC_IT_TXUNDERR | SDMMC_IT_RXOVERR);never happens, thus allowing for SDMMC_IT_DTIMEOUT to be raised even if the transfer was successful...Fix (?) :Changevoid HAL_SD_IRQHandler(SD_HandleTypeDef* hsd) { uint32_t errorstate = HAL_SD_ERROR_NONE;   /* Check for SDMMC interr

Hi,I was thinking of developing a small project using ST8 processors, but I did not find information on what do I start from. The link https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm8-8-bit-mcus.html#lists commercial compilers. Are there free compilers for ST8, same as for STM32?Thank you,

Dear All,I faced a problem and I would like to issue a note for other developers. If it is a hardware bug in microcontroller, it may also be helpful for ST developers to fix it for a later revision. Let me explain what I faced in detail. (While trying to find what was the cause of the problem, I made a hardware setup and tested the code. I conducted a lot of try and error methods until I understood what happened. I won’t give all these steps in detail.)---------------------------------I developed SPI communications between another microcontroller. One of SPI port is set a transmit only mode and other SPI port is set a receive only mode. Transmit only mode SPI sends 30 half-word every 40us at 27 MBit/sec baud rate. It is expected that the other microcontroller should response the same word counts at the same speed and receive only mode SPI receives these data. DMA1 is responsible for transmitting and receiving data. First of all, I tested transmit only SPI with scope (Tektronix MSO54-SP

Here is what I did - From CubeMX, I mistakenly change port configuration of port pin PA14 from SYS_JTCK-SWCLK to GPIO_Output.Apparently this disabled the debug / programming channel of the target micro controller on the board.Later I reset the port pin to its original function and tried to program the new firmware, but it doesn't work.I get following error:"Error in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: No device found on target."Here's the complete console log - STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. STM32F0 reference manual 13.4.3, TIM1_SMCR description, Table 45 says that setting the TS bits to 011 selects TIM17 as the trigger source. That's fine, because I want to start TIM1 and TIM17 at the same time. However, the description of TIM17 has no mention of master timer features. There is no TRGO on the block diagram, no MMS bits in CR2.Is it possible then to start both timers synchronized, or it's just a glitch in the documentation?

Hi teamI am new to stm32 mcu and trying to debug with ITM here with CubeIDE. But it didn't seem to work for me.I didn't see anything from the SWV ITM data console output windows, it's properly something really silly I have done or not done. I am using CubeIDE v1.1, Nucleo-32 F303K8T6 board, so I think it's not the hardware problem. So I created a new project, enable SWV, set the core clock to 8MHz (which is the default value I get when I setup the new project), enable port 0 on the SWV ITM console windows, start trace. I see nothing. What have I done wrong, or not done??Here is my code: /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */   /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ // blink led to show my code is running HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LED0_GPIO_Port, LED0_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); HAL_Delay(100); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LED0_GPIO_Port, LED0_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_Delay(100); // just send a char ITM_SendChar('H');   } /* USER CODE END 3 */ }Here are

I am trying to understand whether or not I would have to get this tool approved under the medical standards we must adhere to for a class B type medical device. The standards areIEC 62304ISO 13485

Hi all!,I want to use TIM2 to count tghe times a button is pressed.I connected the button to PA1, with a pulldown resistor. When the button is pressed, a hign pulse enters to PA1.I run this program, and read the TIM2->CNT, but it doesnt move. This is the program I'm testing. Please, any advices? In the code below I have AES GCM correctly decrypting data using the Cryptolib. I am trying to decrypt the same data using the HAL_CRYP_AES_XXXX functions and it isn't working.Key is 32 bytes. iv is 12 bytes. header data (aad) is 3 bytes. message data (dc) is 20 bytes.I have seen that the data must be a multiple of 16 bytes. Do I simply pad with zeros and report size as 32 bytes in my case? Does the iv need to be padded? Or the header? Does the data, key, aad, or iv need to be byte swapped somehow? Is the CrypHandle.Init.DataType   = CRYP_DATATYPE_8B correct?I've tried lots of different combinations and haven't hit on one that seems to work.Suggestions?Thank you.uint8_t key[]= "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"; uint8_t iv[] = {0x04, 0xbc, 0xca, 0xab, 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00}; uint8_t aad[] = {0x42, 0x24, 0x02}; uint8_t tag[] = {0xee, 0x20, 0xac, 0xfb, 0x41, 0x9c, 0x86, 0xc9, 0x9a, 0x87, 0x57, 0x5a, 0x97, 0x78, 0x52, 0xda}; uint8_t dc[] = {0x66, 0x9

Hey,the STM32G431 data sheet states that the UCPD unit has internal pull-down resistors. Now I want to flash my G431 via DFU, and USB-C doesn't provide power to a sink unless CC1 and CC2 are pulled down. It seems that the internal UCPD only works when the MCU is flashed; can I use the internal UCPD with external resistors on CC1 and CC2? This seems to be required to flash the MCU via DFU the first time; Can I still use the UCPD of the G431 in this case?

I'm using ST Visual develop and Cosmic to program a STM8S003K3 and I'm thought it would be nice to use the STM8 Standard Library (downloaded from ST.COM). Within a very short time I got errors telling me that I tried to put more code in the MCU than possible (8K). I hadn't even finished the initialization of all the peripherals I intend to use. So I took a look at the compiler settings and changed the optimizations from None to Minimize Code Size. That did help. For a few minutes. A look at the map file shows this: (not the entire file) -------- Segments --------   start 00008080 end 00008103 length 131 segment .const start 00008106 end 00009bab length 6821 segment .text start 00004000 end 00004000 length 0 segment .eeprom start 00000000 end 00000000 length 0 segment .bsct start 00000000 end 0000000a length 10 segment .ubsct start 0000000a end 0000000a length 0 segment .bit start 0000000a end 0000000a length 0 segment .share start 00000100 end 00000100 length 0 segment .data sta

I start working with the Nucleo board G070RB and I’m new with ST products. I follow the instruction of the user manual but my board isn’t recognised by the UCPD Cube monitor and the USB STLINK LED is red. Otherwise, it is recognised by my computer. Can you help me please ?

Hello,I am currently working on a custom PCB which has an STM32F072 chip on it.We want to be able to program it using ST's internal bootloader, so we placed a 10k pull-up resistor to the BOOT0 pin. I generated a basic program using CubeMX to test the PCB.When I start debugging the application, a breakpoint is triggered at the start of the main application, as expected. However, as soon as I continue debugging, a reset is triggered and the chip switches to its internal booloader, since the BOOT0 pin is high. This reset is seen on the NRST pin using a scope, and the PINRSTF and SFTRSTF bits are set in the RCC->CSR register.I also tried sending a go command in the bootloader, thus without the debugger connected, but here I see the same reset happening. When I step through the code, the reset does not happen and the program just loops its main loop. But the SysTick_Handler is never triggered. The reset circuit has a 10k pull-up resistor and a 100nF capacitance, and is only connected to the

I'm working on STM32F746 discovery wtih STemWin(firmwere F7 1.15). I'm tested on both UART1 and UART6.It's work fine without DMA and it's also worked with interrupt too. When i try to run with DMA. Hardware not even send an output data(I'm checked with my oscilloscopes). And huart keep busy all the time.So i give up trying on STM32F746 discovery. And tested on STM32F746 Nucleo board. I'm setup with cudeMX. And enabled only UART2 and UART3 with DMA and global interrupt. Than i'm found the problems UART3 DMA not wotking but UART2 DMA work fine. And than i try UART2-3 without DMA , Only interrupt. And It's works.I'm tried to result this problem for 2 days now. And i have no clue what's wrong with it. Please help me.

Hi!I was wondering which ARM Cortex-M7 revision does the STM32H743 uses.Does all the H7 family use the same core rev?Asking because we currently have a STM32F746 and we want to avoid de single stepping bug while debigging from the r0p0 and r0p1 core revisions.I have checked on the reference manual RM0433 and the only reference that I can find is in page 3057 on the Access port identification register (AP_IDR) which tells me that it is at least r0p5 but I would like some confirmation.Thank you very much!

i am trying to send my ADC values to my realterm terminal via UART, the HAL_UART AND hal_adc integer are not compatible, UART takes 8 bit and ADC 32 bit, can someone help ?both ADC code and UART code are working fine in separate program.
