The handshake sequence looked a bit odd too. [STMdemo1] (08:07:40): {"state": {"reported": {"Device_Type": "STEVAL-IPD005V1", "Features": [], "Firmware": ""}}}Update request with token "40d4c70c-ec71-4946-9f7b-b6ad2719d965" acceptedI have also tried a manual boot using /home/root/start_pmp.sh where it gets one step further with "Demo running..." then stops.Any help appreciated. I bought this kit to learn but after first time debugging i can't connect to it at all.I just set some GPIO input and outputs and got a led working in debug mode and now i can't connect to the board again and the previous debug program doesn't work either.I didn't choose the project from boards selection but from MCU selectionsWhich is STM32H735IGPlease help it was a very expensive board and i don't want to give up on learning it.Edit: Found out how to reset the device.Don't know if anyone else needs it but i guess it was my fault for not checking the whole datasheet first.In any case leaving this for anyone who might need it in the future.

Hello All, I'm developing 48Volt 700Watt BLDC Motor Controller Using STM32 Controller. I didn't use STM Motor Control Workbench Tool for this Project. I developed my own library and source code for this project. When motor is running initial spikes is coming and at the center of the graph another spikes also coming.Can anyone please tell me why this problem is happening in controller. Here I'm attaching the Phase U(Yellow) and Phase V (Blue) waveform. Please check and let me know. Thanks & Regards Karthik DME-Mail : karthikdm1997@gmail.com

Hi,I am trying to learn how to use the LPTIM1 of the STM32L433 Nucleo-64 board (with the CPU: STM32L433RCTxP). I want to experiment on generating an interrupt every second with the LPTIM (I usually use a TIMx peripheral for this, but was interested because the LPTIM1 could also run in STOP modes).I sort of have a working code where the LPTIM1 generates an interrupt periodically, although not at every second (or at a rate of 1Hz):/* Note: SYSCLK, HCLK, PCLK1, PCLK2 are all 16MHz running on HSI */ static void MX_LPTIM1_Init(void) { hlptim1.Instance = LPTIM1; hlptim1.Init.Clock.Source = LPTIM_CLOCKSOURCE_APBCLOCK_LPOSC; hlptim1.Init.Clock.Prescaler = LPTIM_PRESCALER_DIV128; hlptim1.Init.Trigger.Source = LPTIM_TRIGSOURCE_SOFTWARE; hlptim1.Init.OutputPolarity = LPTIM_OUTPUTPOLARITY_HIGH; hlptim1.Init.UpdateMode = LPTIM_UPDATE_IMMEDIATE; hlptim1.Init.CounterSource = LPTIM_COUNTERSOURCE_INTERNAL; hlptim1.Init.Input1Source = LPTIM_INPUT1SOURCE_GPIO; hlptim1.Init.Input2Source = LPTIM_I

Hello everyone,I try to transmitt data with my STM32L4A6ZG via SPI. I configured the Transmitt Only MasterMode and have NSS via hardware selected. After Initialization I check with the function: ret_tx1 = HAL_SPI_GetState(&hspi1);Which returns: HAL_SPI_STATE_READY,but when I try to transmitt data, i can see neither clock nor data on the oscilloscope and theSPI return Value ist HAL_SPI_STATE_RESET. I do not know whats wrong. I would apreciate some help.Here is my Code/* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * <h2><center>© Copyright (c) 2020 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved.</center></h2> * * This software component is licensed by ST under BSD 3-Clause license, * the "License"; You may not use this file except in

I'm using STM32H753XI Eval 2 board with MT25QL01GBBB external flash on QSPI interface.I've configured it in 4 byte addressing mode but I'm not able to read the data correctly.I've referred code from here,https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeF7/blob/master/Projects/STM32F7308-DISCO/Examples/QSPI/QSPI_ReadWrite/Src/main.cQSPI Init:uint8_t QUADSPI_Init(void) {   hqspi.Instance = QUADSPI; hqspi.Init.ClockPrescaler = 1; hqspi.Init.FifoThreshold = 4; hqspi.Init.SampleShifting = QSPI_SAMPLE_SHIFTING_HALFCYCLE; hqspi.Init.FlashSize = 31;//25; hqspi.Init.ChipSelectHighTime = QSPI_CS_HIGH_TIME_1_CYCLE;//QSPI_CS_HIGH_TIME_1_CYCLE; hqspi.Init.ClockMode = QSPI_CLOCK_MODE_0; hqspi.Init.FlashID = QSPI_FLASH_ID_1; hqspi.Init.DualFlash = QSPI_DUALFLASH_DISABLE; if (HAL_QSPI_Init(&hqspi) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } /* QSPI memory reset */ if (QSPI_ResetMemory(&hqspi) != QSPI_OK) { return QSPI_NOT_SUPPORTED; }   /* Put QSPI memory in QPI mode */ if

Hello.I don't see ISM330DLCTR in stock anywhere? Is there any alternate part. I can see LSM6DSM. Will it work with same software. Any suggestions?Thanks,Kumar

HI,All , if any one have done HSE enabling in Stm32f072 & Stm32f103 MCU please share.As what ever examples available are for HSI clock only .So please some one revert .WaitingRohit

I want to know what is use of user data in option bytes programming?it helps to protect my firmware inside MCU like password or etc?

Hi，I use ADC1_INP2 for single-end mode , how the ADC1_INN2 connect to？Internal VREF- or outside GND？ And in differential mode，ADC1_INP6/ADC1_INN2 use de same pin, is that i can only use ADC1 channel 2 in differential mode? ADC1 channel 6 can't be used.

I understand correctly that in stm32h743 you can delete only a sector of 128K bytes minimally?

Is there documentation for a composite list of driver API for the STM32G071 MCU? The examples are good, the STMCubeMX pin generator also helps. The driver files are there. But there are so many APIs for timers, interrupt callbacks, UART etc. Are there resources other than online searches to help use HAL, LL APIs?Thanks,Priya

Hello,I put my STM32H743XI in Bootloader mode and launch STM32Cube Programmer USB example on VS and got : I have two question :Where does this error comes from and how to fix it ?Can I skip option bytes programming and still flash my MCU ?Regards

Hello I am using the STM32F334 for Lighting and I have had to use the DMA to transfer duty cycle data to the PWM duty register. The DMA is set up in circular mode and there is no interrupt. The priority it set to High. But i notice this pauses between the packets. I would have expected it to have no pauses. Please how can I get rid of this? Please see the image of actual light intensity. Hope to hear from you. thanks

Hi, I connected the BFA01V1B and running condition monitoring code. My settings are Accelerometer parameters are:   HpfCut =3   Acc_Odr=6660   FifoOdr=6660   Acc_Fs =16   MotionSP parameters:   size=2048   tau=50   wind=1   tdtype=0   tacq=5000   MotionSP Vibration InitializationMotionSP Parameters are:   FFT size: 2048   FFT ovl : 75%   Tacq   : 5000 msUpdate Accelerometer Settings:   Ok Enable HP Filter   Ok FullScale Setting   Ok Set Output Data Rate   Ok measure and calculate ODR   ODR = 6582.00 Hz   OK Set Accelerometer Parameters   Ok Bypass FIFOThe Results are:    ************************************************************* &nbsp

I want to use an accelerometer to calculate the speed of a moving vehicle. For this i need a accelerometer which should give _ve values(2's complement) in Deceleration and +ve values in (2's complement) in acceleration. It should have 2g range with 12bit(or more) resolution. with less noise affected. It should have less Zero offset error.If there is any sensor Please Suggest me one.Thank you in Advance.

Hi everyone,I do have 2 PCB boards based on STM32F030F4P6 MCU, the two PCBs have the same hardware and connection with other components, I read the first MCU's code using ST-LInk V2 -using SWD- and saved the .hex file to my PC then I wanted to re-program the other one with the same code, the programming proccess works well and the ST Link utility says that it success but when trying to run the code it says "unable to run" what shall I do to correctly copy the same code? I program the flash memory and make sure that the Option Bytes are the same, what else must be copied to let the MCU work?Thanks in advance.

Hi there.I am new to this, so do not judge me. Here is the question:Which GPIO pins from STM32F415R (so the one with 64pins) I could use for lighting up a led?Here is the documentation for it: https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/stm32f415rg.pdfThank you!

Hi guys,I'm designing a custom board with STM32MP157C using the MB1263 board as reference.The MB1263 reference design shows the VDD_OTP pin tied to VDD, which is 3V3 for that particular board. My custom board uses VDD = 1V8 instead of 3V3. Should I tie the VDD_OTP to 3V3 or 1V8? I could not find any reference on VDD_OTP recommended voltage.Thank you in advance.

Hello! We have been told that the STM32F030C8 is going to be discontinued. We have several product lines using this MCU. On the ST website this MCU is listed under the 10-year longevity commitment. How do we enroll in this commitment? What does this mean? Would you allows us to do a lifetime buy of these MCUs? Is there a direct replacement for this part that you recommend that would have the least impact on FW development? Thank you!
