Hi.I am using MCU STM32F070CBT6TR on my custom board, I do use ST-LINK/V2 as hardware tool, and I have configured the boot options according to this: But in fact the MCU is not running the code, it keeps in lockup state, and then I am not able to debug the code on Utility nor in the IDE, because the MCU doesn't even run. Pin 44 (BOOT0) is connected directly to GND.Pin 7 (NRST) have a pull-up of 4.7K and is measuring 3.3VWhat I am doing wrong?

I am currently using the Nucleo G071 RB eval board. The application will transfer data to the USB port at the end of processing. I am using UCPD1 on PA10, PA9, PA8 and PB15.Do I use the STM32CubeMonitorUCPD to view this data? I am assuming I will need to jumper these UCPD1 pins to a USB cable that connects to my laptop. Is RTOS needed to use UCPD1 for this purpose? Thanks,Priya

I have been getting into issues on the STM32WB Nucleo Eval Board. As of now, i've been working on the BLE_Custom example from the Firmware 1.9.0. and i have it to where it bonds and has no MITM protection on. Once running it from the CubeMX and opening on the IDE any slight changes like making a command within the Main.c and in the while(1) loop it seems to not be found on any of my devices. Just opening the example with the configurations changes and not changing anything on the IDE makes it appear and paired up with my ios device or my laptop. I don't know if its a fault on the IDE, example or MX program. I also had tried changing the GAP name with the same character length and as well it did the same error where its not recognized by any of my devices

HiIm using samsung galaxy j5 accelerometer for a research work about automobile acceleration and deceleration. As you know samsung electronics uses stm mems sensors on its smartphones. In case of galaxy j5, based on some papers, the accelerometer name is K2HH! Some applictions show the same name too. I didn't find any datasheet about this sensor on the site.I appreciate any help about the sensor, it's real name or any other data.Best regards.

Greetings,On the custom board I'm working on, the HTS is powered off (electrically) when unused. The rail used to power the HTS can't remain on because it also powers other components which must be powered off to meet the consumption target.I noticed that it takes quite some time for the HTS to be ready to answer to a first I2C request, and it's not consistent. It generally takes 300ms, but I've had devices where the 1s timeout expires. I can't find a max boot up time specified in the datasheet.I need to know this in order to determine a maximum timeout, and maybe have a deeper look at the I2C implementation in case something is wrong here.Thank you.

Trying to figure out the best way of programming CPUs for production. With other projects, we would normally get the microcontroller programmed before the PCB SMT stage. This service doesnt appear to be available for STM32WB (too new?), so the intention is to use 4x ST-LINK devices in parallel to program 4 boards at a time on the assembly line.Whilst I'm fairly clear on how to achieve this using the command line tools, I would like to check this is the only / best way of doing it. The time it takes to upgrade FUS (twice? still not clear if that's required as per release notes 0.5.3 -> 1.0.2 -> 1.1.0), then flash the copro with BLE_stack_full.bin, then flash the main image is longer than we would like. Can we combine any of the steps? Is it possible to generate an elf file that has "everything" in?Does ST provide programming services? or chips that are already preprogrammed with the ble stack, ready for our application code? Thanks

Hi,Currently, I have two boards that contain a 5 volt power supply. Due to flexibility for future projects, both of are powering the same pin on a connector. The STMPS2171STR was added to one of the boards to cut the voltage going to the connector. However, during bring up I checked the impedance of the output pin of the STMPS2171 to ground and it was high, this matched the datasheet. Once the board was powered on (enable off), I noticed that I had current flowing into the STMPS2171STR , when measured and it was roughly 10mA. I decided to recheck the resistance to ground and surprisingly enough I had 1kOhm to ground. I turned off my power supply and the impedance stayed roughly the same. This behavior goes against what section 3.4 of the datasheet.I have a few questions about this component.I am using this IC correctly?I tested a total of 3 different boards, and all of them display a similar behavior. However, the boards were build by hand, How resistant to heat are those ICs?The datas

Currently I am using LIS2DW12 in my project with ODR set to 1600Hz in High performance mode. Reading the datasheet I found that the maximum bandwidth for this ODR ir 400Hz. I want to understand why tye maximum bandwidth for this setting is 400Hz and not 800Hz. I also want to know if it is possible to set the bandwidth to 800Hz with ODR set to 1600Hz.

Hi everyone please help for creat project , I'm new here and this area. I have stm32f103c8 and i want to control dc motorcan anyone help me to write code for control dc motor with hall encoder (PID control) thank's

We are developing a new product with the LIS2DE12 and are planning to use Ultrasonic welding during assembly of the ABS plastic enclosure. The welding machine will hammer on the enclosure with a frequency of 20KHz, with an amplitude of 20umeter and a 'big' pressure. The welding process will typically take 1-3 seconds. Will this be harmful for the sensor wich is mounted on a PCB inside the enclosure?

Should the 220nF bootstrap capacitor connected to ground or Vs? The circuit diagramm and the datasheet are describing it differently. Both can be found here: https://www.st.com/en/motor-drivers/l6234.htmlThank you.

In application note said that "The accelerometer sampling chain is represented by a cascade of three main blocks: an ADC converter, a digital low-pass filter (LPF1) and the composite group of digital filters". I want to know what type of filter is LPF1. Is it IIR or FIR filter. Regards.

I've assigned the UART8 device in the devicetree of the linux kernel (OpenSTLinux):&pinctrl { // ... uart8_pins: uart8-0 { pins1 { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('E', 0, AF8)>; /* UART8_RX */ bias-disable; }; pins2 { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('E', 1, AF8)>; /* UART8_TX */ bias-disable; drive-push-pull; slew-rate = <0>; }; };   uart8_sleep_pins: uart8-sleep-0 { pins { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('E', 0, ANALOG)>, /* UART8_RX */ <STM32_PINMUX('E', 1, ANALOG)>; /* UART8_TX */ }; }; // ... } // ... &uart8 { pinctrl-names = "default", "sleep"; pinctrl-0 = <&uart8_pins>; pinctrl-1 = <&uart8_sleep_pins>; /delete-property/dmas; /delete-property/dma-names; status = "okay"; };The uart8 (0x40019000) is detected upon boot and the device /dev/STM1 is created:[ 1.196012] stm32-usart 40010000.serial: interrupt mode for rx (no dma) [ 1.196036] stm32-usart 40010000.serial: interrupt mod

I am using STM32F303VBT6 in my application where I need to use the graphical library for advanced HMI development. The system would have more than 15 screens (consists of Text, symbols, images etc.), LCD is not a touch display it is simple 262K color TFT display, resolution is 320X240, system would have multiple language support as well.So what will the Internal Flash / External Flash / Internal RAM / External RAM requirement to support this features with TouchGFX library??
