I am using the STM32L476G Discovery board and I understand that the COMP is able to trigger interrupts using the exti line 21 and that can be used to along with the timer to measure the time between consecutive rising edges or falling edges. However what I'm struggling with is with the coding. I've looked at countless tutorials but I don't quite see a pattern that I can use to implement my own code. Are there perhaps any other resources I can use to help me?

Hello,as many before I am trying to control some SK6812 adressable LEDs with a STM32 MCU. I have successfully done so on a custom board using the STM32L433CCT and this neat guide:https://www.thevfdcollective.com/blog/stm32-and-sk6812-rgbw-ledand this gihub repository: https://github.com/hey-frnk/STM32_HAL_NeoPixelI follwed the tutorial step by step using CubeMX and SW4STM32.Now however I have to switch to a STM32F469l-DISCO board and I thought well the same code should work right? No! Looking at the signal using a scope, I saw that it was nowhere near the needed 800kHz. So after looking around in manuals and posts I figured out, that some changes to the DMA setup have to be made. See this post:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkeDcSAJ/stm32f4-dma-and-varying-duty-cycleSo and here is my problem I dont really understand what exactly I have to change since they are setting up their DMA manually in the post above, while I used CubeMX to set it up again without FIFO and couldnt

Hello,I am having a problem with my STM32F369l-DISCO board, as the title says it has to do with the DMA and PWM output. So I need a 800kHz PWM signal for some SK6812 LEDs, I already did achieve this with an STM32L433CCT on a custom board using this guide: https://www.thevfdcollective.com/blog/stm32-and-sk6812-rgbw-ledI set up my Project with CubeMX, the DMA setup there looked like this:with this I got my desired DMA/PWM-frequency when using: HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_DMA(&htim2, TIM_CHANNEL_1,"Data","Lengt");Now as I said I switched to a STM32F469l-DISCO board. There the setup looked like this:My clocks like this:with a Timer period of 112-1 resulting in ~800kHzI also tried it without FIFO, but then I am not able to select memorysize BYTE. It doesn´t really matter, it made almost no difference. To get to my Problem, when trying to output my PWM signal with this code from the guide above:#define PWM_HI (56) //50%DC #define PWM_LO (28) //25%DC   // LED parameters #define NUM_BPP (4) // S

HelloI need to put 4 full bridges in parallel to avoid excessive heat of the L6206My design is based on figure 15 of the datasheet : half bridge 1A connected with half bridge 1B ( pin OUT and pin IN)half bridge 2A connected with half bridge 2B ( pin OUT and pin IN)The same is done with the second device, half bridge 1A-1B of both devices are connected together. Half bridge 2A-2B of both devices are connected together. The 4RCL resistor are 15k resistor. ( 1.5A for each bridge)Each OCD pin are connected togetherThe result should be one full bridge which should allow a current of 6A.But the current limiting seems not to work correctly. The current is limited to 4.2A in PWM: IN1A is connected to 5V and a PWM is applied to IN2A. On each rising edge of the PWM ( end of the active phase of the PWM), the OCD make the signal on the Enable pins go down during 300ns. Then the voltage on the Enable pin rises slowly until the next rising edge of the PWMIf I connect IN2A to gnd instead of using a PW

I am very new to the STM32 development board and am using the STM32F407VG. I wish to connect a RFID Scanner to SPI2 and looking at the Pin Description Table (pages 21->23 in the STM32F4 users manual), I cannot see if there are specific pins to be selected for SPI2 Chip-Select-Pin setup (I think I can use PB9 but am not sure). I think I'm correct to use SPI2->PC2 = MISO, SPI2->PC3 = MOSI & SPI2-> PB10 = CLK. Has anyone dealt with this issue that can help me to know if I have to select specific pin please?

I was expected that isalnum(c) return TRUE when c is '0' to '9' or 'A' to 'Z' or 'a' to 'z' and returns FALSE with any other value. Is it correct?I observed it returns true for any printable character, including '\r', '*', ...The code below was used to test:for (int i=0;i<256;i++){         printf ("ascii car %d isalnum? ",i);          if (isalnum((char)i)) printf ("yes\n");          else printf (" no\n");  }*/The output was:ascii car 0 isalnum? noascii car 1 isalnum? noascii car 2 isalnum? noascii car 3 isalnum? noascii car 4 isalnum? noascii car 5 isalnum? noascii car 6 isalnum? noascii car 7 isalnum? noascii car 8 isalnum? noascii car 9 isalnum? yesascii car 10 isalnum? yesascii car 11 isalnum? yesascii car 12 isalnum? yesascii car 13 isalnum? yesascii car 14 isalnum? noascii car

Hello ST Community,I recently made PCB using STM32WB55CGU6 MCU. I used STM32WB-Dongle as reference and designed 4-layer PCB. After board bring up and soldering I found that every peripherals of my board are working except Bluetooth.I am using P2P-server application code and I see nothing on ST-ble mobile app.Can anyone suggest how can I make Bluetooth working? Thanks and Regards,Nikunj Panchani

Hi all, looking for new original STM32F437IIH6  TR , 500000pcs. how and where can i purchase them ?

We are trying to make our first large project with an STM32G473VE MCU in an LQFP-100 package, but there seems to be a discrepancy between the number of accessible ADC input pins for ADC5 between the datasheet (rev 3, last version) and what I can select in CubeMX and what is listed in the STM32G4 manual. Speficically, the datasheet lists only lists the following inputs as alternative functions in table 12:Pin   ADC5_INxPD8   12PD9   13PA8   1PA9   2(found by searching for ADC5_IN)However, in the G4 series reference manual RM0440, pages 392 to 393 (table 69), many more inputs are listed, and these are in agreement with what I can select in STM32CubeMX. For example, I can select ADC5_IN7 through ADC5_IN11 which corresponds to PD10 through PD14 and these pins are indeed physically present. Is the datasheet incomplete and these pins are OK to use, or have I misunderstood something? For my application, it would be very

The STM32F777 has a bullet under Section 2.25 [U(S)ART] :Swappable Tx/Rx pin configurationWhere can I find more detailed information on Swapping the Tx/Rx pin configuration for a UART ?

I use stm32f401's PB4 (NJTRST) pin. I attached 5 V pull-up resistor (5.1k) to PB4. While MCU is in reset mode the voltage on PB4 is 4.26 V. Only after starting the system, the voltage increases to 5 V. In my program I configure PB4 as input without pull-up or pull-down, just input. I couldn't find an explanation in AN4899.Why voltage is 4.26 while reset? Is it because of schmitt trigger?

We have own MP157 based module and it sometimes hangs after NRST during debug. It doesn't respond to JTAG DAP, further NRST pulses doesn't help but NRST_CORE helps. It seems as errata "Incorrect reset of glitch-free kernel clock switch". We tried sw workaround (QSPI clk src=per_ck) but it doesn't help. Thus we tried hw workaround - connect NRST+NRST_CORE (as we use simple smps chip to power core). But the MP1 is stuck in reset - NRST(_CORE) are at GND. Both VDD (1V8) and VCORE (1V2) are up. Once I disconnect NRST from NRST_CORE (while still powered) it immediatelly boots. I also scoped the signals - after power is turned on, NRST_CORE goes up, followed by NRST after 10ms. When connected together, they sit at 0 all the time. Chip revision is 0x2000. Any idea ? Thanks, Martin

My requirement is to 1) Inject ECC error in DFlash2) ECC has to be detected, but there should not be any reset as it occurred in DFlashWhat are the registers to be set for the above steps?Note : I tried sample programs from SPC5Studio* FCCU Test Application and* Flash Test Applicationthose both didn't help me.

Hi,I am working with STM32H743ZIWhen I enable USB DMA, writing enable here : I have 3 bytes of offset in my frames, my frame is supposed to start with aa:55:dd:aa instead of 00:00:00:aa:55:dd:aaIt is fixed when I disable DMA but I want to use itHere is my memory usage :Any parameter I am missing ?Regards,Gabriel

Hi,I can't find the information of  "the USART source clock to providethe Smartcard clock" maximum frequency in document"RM0438Reference manual-STM32L552xx and STM32L562xx advanced Arm®-based32-bit MCUs". Please advise why "STM32CubeIDE 1.5.0"  limit stm32L5 "the USART source clock to providethe Smartcard clock" maximum frequency to 5MHz.Thanks,QiZhang

Dear all,I am struggling with the B-L475e-IOT board and USB. If I use the default initialisation of CubeMX and change the USB device to OTG FS Device only and add the Middleware of the Communication device class I can not get this as recognized device on Win 7 as well as Win 10. The line coding is set within usbd_cdc_if.c as in the USB mooc as follows in CDC_Control_FS and Linecoding is defined and initialized as follows: USBD_CDC_LineCodingTypeDef Linecoding = { 115200, /*baudrate*/ 0x00, /*stop bits-1*/ 0x00, /*parity none*/ 0x08, /*no of bits*/}; case CDC_SET_LINE_CODING: Linecoding.bitrate = (uint32_t)(pbuf[0] | pbuf[1] << 8 |\ pbuf[2] << 16 | pbuf[3] << 24); Linecoding.format = pbuf[4]; Linecoding.paritytype = pbuf[5]; Linecoding.datatype = pbuf[6];   break;   case CDC_GET_LINE_CODING:   pbuf[0] = (uint8_t)(Linecoding.bitrate); pbuf[1] = (uint8_t)(Linecoding.bitrate>>8); pbuf[2] = (uint8_t)(Linecoding.bitrate>>16

A Windows application that writes multiple binary files at once because you have to write multiple binary files to STM32WB at once. Is developing. I can write a binary file to FLASH using CubeProgrammer_API, I can't find a function in CubeProgrammer_API to write a binary file for FUS/RF Stack. Is there another API? Can you tell me if there is one? Also, if you have sample code, could you please tell me?

How can I change the driver to port 4 or how can I install the driver additionally for port 4? *Edited by moderation: please don't mention your email address publicly on this forum*

Upon reading the user manual for the STM32F072, it seems like it is only possible for the slave and master to both read on the first edge or both read on the second edge. However, I am trying to interface with an ASIC in which the ASIC(slave) reads on the 1st clock edge and the STM32 (master) reads on the 2nd clock edge. Is there any way to configure the SPI to work with this setup? The STM32 and ASIC are sending and receiving data at the same time so it seems like there is no way to send data first from the STM32, switch clock phase, and then receive data from the ASIC.

If you set TouchGFX in the stm32f429IG setting, an error appears for the memory below. External SDRAM is in use, FMC setting is done. We drew a background from TouchGFX and loaded that background, which resulted in the above problem in compilation. I don't know which setting is wrong. If there is a problem with SDRAM settings, does this error appear? Who can help you solve this error?

My instance is created in the base file as follows:touchgfx::GraphScroll<50> BlueGraph; And I need to change the capacity of this graph from 50 to 100 to have the line smoother when some event is triggered. Is is possible to change that capacity after setting it in the base file generated ???
