Dear ST; I found bug for generate with SUBG2. I can export file to STM32CubeIDE but it can't be use with other MCU .This photo. I can generate with STM32L010.This photo. I compile source code. I found error in middleware from ST.Thank you,Best regards.

Hi, If you set a timer in Output Compare in Mode "Toggle" and assing a Chanel to a pin of your uC you can make it toggle when CCRx == CNT. That works just fine, as expected. My question is: when you configure the Mode of that Channel to “Active on Match?, how can you clear that pin to low again? It keeps allways Active. To clear the pin I tried:HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_1, 0) inside the callback void HAL_TIM_OC_DelayElapsedCallback , and also in the main(), but it does not work. Is there any way? The same aplies for the mode “Inactive Level on Match?. Thanks a lot guys,

Hi everyone, I try to understand more deeply the the whole clocks issue and how each frequency affects the running time. My board is STM32F429, and the clock configuration set by default (maximum values). This is the best configuration for fast running time? (I don't need to reduce consumption). If I'll disable some peripheral's clocks which not in use, Will it affect the other peripherals and the running time?If I'll will reduce the APB2 clock, Will it affect APB1? I'm a little confused with this issue. I will appreciate if someone could clarify this topic and the meaning of changing clock's value. thank you

I am looking 100pin STM32H750 but nobody has them in stock. Digikey, Mouser, Distrelec, TME all zero. Is there something newer or what is the problem.

I am building a device that has to register data that is send in BLE beacons. I want to filter this data out of received Advertisement messages. Are there any implementations of this capability that I can learn from? I started from the P2P Client example, but when I change the gap role from GAP_CENTRAL_ROLE to GAP_OBSERVER_ROLE, I do not get any advertisement reports anymore.

Hello everyone, I would like to know wath's the STM32 equivalent of the serial monitor on Arduino .. Wath's the simpliest way to display integer value like temp or number with a nucleoF401re stuff ? Thank a lot for your responses !

First, is this the place to post bug reports for STM32CubeIDE? I'm seeing a few minor bugs but I'll start with this one in case this the right place. A bug was introduced either with a recent release of STM32CubeIDE or with Mac Big Sur. It is hard to know which since both updates occurred at about the same time. It is most apparent when performing an Open Declaration operation in the editor, because the bug happens so frequently when doing this. The editor window will get "garbled", showing a confused combination of information seemingly from two different locations in the text buffer or two different buffers. Fortunately, scrolling up and down in the buffer causes the IDE to get unconfused. But it is quite annoying, and happens very frequently. This bug is new, it did not happen before recent updates of the IDE and OS. I'm on a 4K monitor, but I suspect that most people are at this point. There are couple other bugs to report, but is this the right place to do it?

Hello everyone, I'm new on STM32.My Board is blocked in this state (see on the photo) : 2 led at red state continuously. And when I try to load program in the board, this type of erros occured : Error launching GDB server. Thanks for your Help !

I have 2 seperate projects, the bootloader and the end application. What i want to do is program the bootloader code when i program the application (Run as).I dont need debug capabilities for the bootloader, i just want flash locations 0x08000000 – 0x08004FFF programmed with a fixed binary file (BL) , and locations 0x08005000 – 0x0800F7FF with my end application . Can i do this from within STM32 cube IDE without using external tools to merge the binary of hex files? Or without creating one big project including the bootloader?i use STM32G431C8TSTM cube IDE Version: 1.5.1Thank youSteve

I am not able to transmit my data while giving query for rs485. so as a result no receiving data too. I have selected baud rate 9600 in both energymeter and my uart also. I have selected USART1 , PA9 tx, PA10 rx and GPIO PD11, Module used is Max485  module. So while checking expression, not able to receive anything, everywhere 0 written. Modbus_Rtu[0]=1; Modbus_Rtu[1]=3; Modbus_Rtu[2]=0; Modbus_Rtu[3]=0; Modbus_Rtu[4]=1; Modbus_Rtu[5]=5;If Slave ID is wrond then atleast value should be available while transmitting..... Hello,I want to implement my own temperature & humidity Zigbee sensor using STM32WB.I can now send and report temperature using zcl.temp.meas.h.In the documentation AN5506, I can read that 47 clusters - and among them Relative humidity measurement cluster - are supposed to be available in the STM32WB stack. Unfortunately, in the library that I have, I cannot find Relative humidity measurement cluster. Is it available somewhere?Thank you for your support,Best regards,Leo

Hi Is there a test procedure you guys follow when you BringUp MCU with new a PCB board?Beside testing interfaces like UART, I2C, Ethernet, Etc.. how do you test the internal MCU Configuration: registers configuration Clocks and PrescalersAXI BusCPU CachingFlash wait state configurationFlash ARTPower domain and VBATSystickADC Sample rate And so on...I know you can output internal clock via MCO pin, but that's about it.How can I test the configuration provided by CubeMX? Is there a known User Guide for MCU BringUp procedure? For both Hardware and Software aspects? Thanks!

Hi all,I have a project for which we need as fast as possible drivers so we use as much as possible the LL drivers . Yet it seems that there was no implementation of LL for MDMA, even if it seems that all other DMA managers have theirs.Anyone knows why it is the case? And also do you know if there will be a future implementation of these drivers?ThanksSeb

In my project I have to share some info among the two cores in the STM32H755 controller but I'm not able to find some simple example about the use of IPCC. Yes, there are presentations etc, but STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.8.0 repository doesn't provide one.

Hi there, I'm trying to make a basic USB audio speaker from an STM32H7 Nucleo board. I am fairly familiar with the USB audio middleware having studied it for a few days, but am not having much luck receiving audio data. I intend to use the built-in DAC as an output, but have gone back to basics to try and find the root of this problem. I start a new CubeMX project for the STM32H7 Nucleo144 board, add in the USB_FS and audio drivers on default settings. I then change the sample rate to 48KHz and generate the project. In order to get the device to enumerate I have to add HAL_PWREx_EnableUSBVoltageDetector(); to the MX_USB_DEVICE_Init();. Once I do this, the WIndows 10 machine will see the device and allow you to select it as an audio output. I can see the  AUDIO_Init_FS, AUDIO_DeInit_FS, and AUDIO_MuteCtl_FS, functions in the device struct are being called correctly, (when plugging in / unplugging and muting / unmuting) however AUDIO_AudioCmd_FS, which should be called when audio da

Hello,I am trying to set up a FDCAN communication between two STM32G431KBT6.The Tx part seems to work perfectly but I have a problem at the level of the reception.General informations: I use CAN-FD as a standard CAN 2.0B (Extended Id) at a baud rate of 500 kbit/s. The two boards are exactly the same with the same base configuration.Here is my Initialisation CAN function generated by STM32CubeMX:/* FDCAN1 init function */ void MX_FDCAN1_Init(void) {   hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; hfdcan1.Init.ClockDivider = FDCAN_CLOCK_DIV1; hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.ProtocolException = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.NominalPrescaler = 2; hfdcan1.Init.NominalSyncJumpWidth = 1; hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg1 = 13; hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg2 = 2; hfdcan1.Init.DataPrescaler = 1; hfdcan1.Init.DataSyncJumpWidth = 1; hfdcan1.Init.DataTimeSeg1 = 1;

Hi, My mcu is STM32L476RGTx and I experiencing very strange behaviors to make my cpu start. This mcu is on pcb I designed myself. My boot0 pin is shorted to GNDAnd the reset pin pulled up to VCC.I can program my chip with my st link (updated to the last version) an after each programming my chip is starting up as expected. But as soon as I tried to make it boot from cold start it won't start. I have to manually press reset button and after that, it run as expected. It append what ever i use as supply. 3V3 from programmer, 3V3 from local switching supply (LM43602)...For the moment i do not use the 8mhz quartz on board.Have you any idea I did not check yet or they're is any parameter that could prevent my mcu to run my program from flash but make it run as soon as I create a true reset event ? Maybe is it BOD ? But how could I check that ?anyway, Thanks for your help.

Hi all, I'm working on a part that has implemented something very similar to the ST-provided user bootloader for the STM8. I've tired uploading a binary using several versions of the STM flasher but none of them seem to work. Is there a script available intended to work with this bootloader?https://my.st.com/content/my_st_com/en/products/embedded-software/mcu-mpu-embedded-software/stm8-embedded-software/stsw-stm8006.license=1613127056306.product=STSW-STM8006.version=2.1.0.html#overview

Hi,I'm using STM32H750B with a NOR flash (Winbond's W25128 chip). When the chip is configured as QPI mode. If polling SR1 using the auto polling function, it will throw error. But read SR directly and check the bits works.Any help? Thanks.

I am trying to acquire the amount of ticks a timer counts using a 50Hz signal (acquired from the mains using hardware). For this I use a EXTI8 interrupt where the 50Hz signal is sampled. I can see on the scope that this interrupts works perfectly (by measuring another pin where I toggle the output during the interrupt).Using a timer I read the counter every interrupt using: LL_TIM_GetCounter(TIMx). And then proceed to reset the counter using LL_TIM_SetCounter(TIMx, 0). The timer is set to 500kHz using a prescaler that is a multiply of 16 (maximizing the accuracy). However, the counter value I read every time is about 9700 ticks. Which is about 19.4ms = 51.55Hz. Which is way more than the datasheet provided accuracy of +/-0.5% of the 16MHz HSI.After that. I proceed to use the HSI TRIM register and tried to calibrate the timer using my own mains frequency which was a perfect 50Hz signal. It resulted in having to increment the default 64 in the RCC->ICSCR register with 11 (which is abo

Hello, I'm using ST-Link / V2 to program STM8S001J3 with STVP (Swim connection). When I try to program MCU, the error appears that it was not possible to connect with the device. The pins are correct and I'm using 3.3V (Pin 19 to CN3 of ST-Link).Even if there is an error, the led turns green after programming. What is strange, I also use an STBM1008A for the same purpose and it works without problems.
