Hi,We're begining a port to STM32G0 line and I understand these have a built in bootloader.I am able to enter and activate the bootloader using the Flash Loader Demo GUI.However when I come to the step of selecting the MCU it appears STM32G0 is not supported by the tool.Tried the command line tool and same result.Looking in the MAPS subfolder of the installation, I can't see any map for the STM32G0.How are we to flash these devices using their internal bootloader?Is there any alternative to the Loader Demo tool?Thank you.

I have to interface digital mems mic ics43432 with a STM32f4xx nucleo board using stm32cubeMX using the PDM2PCM middleware and when the output of the mic will be PDM. the obtained PDM data has to converted into a PCM and transferred onto an UART . The PCM output samples displayed on UART for a certain time of 10seconds has to be captured and those has to be listened and analyzed ,after that the samples has to be transferred to a SD card . . Can some Experts help me with this. As I am new to development of the STM32 boards? Can somebody explain how does the middleware PDM2PCM work?

Hello,I have a custom board with st25r95, I can read a tag and set it to sleep mode.But I wan't Wakeup by tag detection and Interrupt on the Irq_out pin, so I'm sending the following command using the st25r95Idle(0x64, 0x74, 0x3f) function.>>>0x07 0E 02 21 00 79 01 18 00 20 60 60 64 74 3F 08and checking the Irq_out pin with a oscilloscope when a tag is placed! But nothing is happening!

I am studying USB PD now with the demo board B-G474E-DPOW1.I try to program the consumer and need help with switching profiles. When the cable is connected, the charger displays a list of available profiles. I can't figure out how to choose the right profile. Should the consumer choose one of the suggested source profiles? Or does the consumer pass one of its profiles to the source? At what time can I send a switch request? Could you give an example of a function that implements profile switching?

Hi,May I know about LIS3MDL longevity?I checked here (https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/about/quality-and-reliability/product-longevity.html#10-year-longevity&section=FM89-10-year) but not found.Thanks,Rezan

I have removed the display on the DISCO board and I am just using a small OLED for a display. I have a couple of other things connected to the board. A TMP1075 EVM and a TMP390 EVM. I am measuring about 410 mA in run mode. When I invoke standby mode, the current drops to about 175 mA. Does this sound right. Reading the datasheet, the STM32F746 should have a current draw in the uA range.

I am trying to convert a C project to C++. In the previous version, there was a "Convert to C++" option in the properties. I can't find this in 1.5.1. How to convert to C++ in the new version? Just changing the main.c to main.cpp doesn't do it. It just fails to recognize the main.cpp file and does not compile it.

Hi all,I would like to store all graphics resources on my external QSPI memory.I have an STM32H743VIT6 and I use TouchGFX 4.16.if I didn't understang wrong I modified my project following these steps:on TouchGFX projects, all image properties ( Section and Extra Sections) are converted to "ExtFlashSession")I realized an Custom Loader to be used on debugger (to store graphic contentens on external QSPI Memory)On my project I added to the linker the sections:MEMORY { ....... QUADSPI (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x90000000, LENGTH = 8M }andExtFlashSection : { *(ExtFlashSection ExtFlashSection.*) *(.gnu.linkonce.r.*) . = ALIGN(0x4); } >QUADSPI   FontFlashSection : { *(FontFlashSection FontFlashSection.*) *(.gnu.linkonce.r.*) . = ALIGN(0x4); } >QUADSPI TextFlashSection : { *(TextFlashSection TextFlashSection.*) *(.gnu.linkonce.r.*) . = ALIGN(0x4); } >QUADSPII inserted Routine to Init and access to external QSPI memoryApplication crash inside void touchgfx::Texts::setLang

I'm currently tuning my PowerSTEP01 based system for voltage control and I somehow measured a bigger DC resistance on the motor phases than stated in the motors datasheet. Then it came to my mind that this could be caused by the cable used to connect the stepper motor.Indeed, when I calculate the resistance of the cables, I get ~350mOhm for my system. For example, one of the motors has an internal phase resistance of 900mOhm, which means that the cables leading to the motor add ~30% to the overall phase resistance.Is my assumption correct, that the cable resistance should go into the calculation of the stepper driver parameters?

I am evaluating the STM32H747 for my next project. my development board hasnt arrived.I need the ability to communicate with each of the cores indipendently from outside using UART channels.

I am new to using the STM32 nucleo board. I have bought an STM32F767ZI nucleo board. I installed the STM-link utility V4.6 version and stm-link009 drivers. When I connect the micro-USB port of nucleo to my computer, its not getting detected. The COM LED LD4 is blinking. From the manual, I saw that its trying to connect if the LD4 RED led is blinking.I have tried different computer and different USB cables. Jumper connections - CN4 is connected. JP4, JP5 are connectedU5V is connectedAny help is appreciated

Hello All,I am working on UART on SPC58EC-disp Discovery board importing and using example source code "SPC58ECxx_RLA SERIAL DMA Test Application for Discovery" in SPC5Studio. I can transmit the data but unable to receive the data by interrupt method to avoid blocking.In the original project, I have only changed, in the main.c file,  the two highlighted row as follow:#include "components.h"#include "serial_lld_cfg.h"void sddmatxcb(SerialDriver *sdp) { (void)sdp; pal_lld_togglepad(PORT_F, PF_LED1);}void sddmarxcb(SerialDriver *sdp) { (void)sdp; pal_lld_togglepad(PORT_F, PF_LED2);}int main(void) { uint8_t message[]= "Hello World!\r\n"; /* Enable Interrupts */ irqIsrEnable(); sd_lld_start(&SD1, &serial_config_sddmacfg); /* Application main loop.*/ for ( ; ; ) {  (void)sd_lld_write(&SD1,message,(uint16_t)(sizeof(message)/sizeof(message[0])));  osalThreadDelayMilliseconds(1500);  //pal

Hello,I have a custom PCB using a STM32WB35CCU6A that I'm trying to get Bluetooth up and running. I'm using the latest firmware available at this time: "STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.10.1".I've been unable to get CPU2 to initialize from my STM32CubeIDE project. When I set breakpoints in `APPE_SysStatusNot`and `APPE_SysUserEvtRx` from `app_entry.c` the former is the only one that is called. Looking in STM32CubeProgrammer it appeared my wireless stack was not running.I followed UM2550 section 5: when I get to "Download new wireless stack" I get the following error:The Copro Binaries do not list this 256K chip in the binary tables; I'm assuming the FUS address is 0x0803A00, and BLE_Stack_full_fw 0x800B000, it's possible I'm not using the correct address for the BLE stack.

The "Reset the chip and restart debug session" button in debug mode of the CubeIDE is very useful, but it seems to inject a software restart command. Is it possible to change that so that a button click toggels low the Reset pin of the ST-Link to trigger a pin reset?

Hi , i couldnt find any clear solution to this issue:I need to trigger a software System Reset to enter into stm32´s bootloader. So far NVIC_SystemReset() only resets the core and i cant use it to enter stm32 bootloader, am i missing something?NVIC_SystemReset();Reloading the IWDG with the wrong value also triggers a core reset?WRITE_REG((_hiwg)->Instance->KR, (IWDG_KEY_RELOAD+1));The only way i´ve been able to generate a System reset has been letting the IWDG counter reach 0 :\

Hello, I'm designing a new Board base on the STM32F405RGT and i want to use a 12MHz crystal from JLCPCB with this references C9002 Yangxing Tech|Yangxing Tech X322512MSB4SI|SMD Crystal Resonators|LCSC. Is this crystal a 20pf? and did any one use it before, please if any one had use it in his board help me with a feedback about this component>

I am trying to run MKI207V1 with MKI109V3, it does not work because MKI207V1 does not appear in the list of devices.I know I have no problem with MKI109V3 because I can run MKI159V1.I would not complain, but appears on the company website that MKI207V1 can be activated using MKI109V3.https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/evaluation-tools/product-evaluation-tools/mems-motion-sensor-eval-boards/steval-mki207v1.htmlCan anyone tell me what mistake I made in operating?Thank you.

I'm trying to simulate a quadrature encoder signal coming out of an automotive car seat motor. I don't have the motor but I do have the hall sensor used in it (Allegro A1221LLH). The Vout from the sensor is not accessible in the motor and its a 3-pin sensor converted to a 2-pin setup. Hence some hardware processing was needed to make it readable by the STM32F407. The good part is that it works and I see a nice square wave when I rotate a magnet over it (its not strictly quadrature since I have only one sensor for now). I tried reading the count by configuring TIM2 in encoder mode. However I dont see the count increment. I see either 0 or the maximum ARR value (65535). What am I missing here? I've used the same count function with a standard optical encoder and that works fine. Here is the code:typedef struct { uint16_t current_count; // variable that stores the current encoder count uint16_t previous_count; // variable that stores the previous encoder count uint16_t number_of_revs;

This might seem like a noob Q but how can I monitor an array in Cube Monitor? I find it really confusing and as the screen shot below shows, I can only see the 0th element of the array but not the others. Am I missing something?

..

Hello.Firstly - thank you for a great tool. My issue is that I am debugging several systems in parallell. The monitor is great for this. But I happends to have several ST-Link probes with serial numbers that ends with the same numbers. As I am adding more probes, it becomes impossible to tell them apart. The names all comes up with only the last digits of the serial number and no way to rename them. Am I missing something or will it be possible to have the complete serialnumber in the name?Best regardsHans Rosendahl

I have the Nucleo-F446RE. And when I ran the MX it set USART3_TX to Pin PB10. Looking at table 11 in DS10693 Rev 10 STM32F446xC/E It says USART3_TX can be on PB10, PC10, and PD8.It looks like PD8 is not on the STM32F446 Nucleo-64 board. PB10 is on CN9-7 and CN10-25PC10 is on CN7-1How do I tell the USART3 Mode and Configuration -> GPIO Settings to use PC10 and not PB10?No combination of keystrokes/mouse clicks let me change it that I know of.

Hello to all,I succesfully upload the DTM_SPI firmware on my X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 board, , using the SWD, but the BLE chip is no more responding. I'm using the X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 with a STM32L476RG-Nucleo, and I tried the "SampleAppThT" application to set up the BLE chip, but, as I said, I have no responce from it. I updated the DTM_SPI Keil project with this specific define for the BlueNRGM2SP: HS_SPEED_XTAL=HS_SPEED_XTAL_32MHZ, LS_SOURCE=LS_SOURCE_INTERNAL_RO and SMPS_INDUCTOR=SMPS_INDUCTOR_NONE, as indicated in DT0137 document. But without success. The "SampleAppThT" program outpus is:HWver 0, FWver 0 Setting BD_ADDR failed 0xff. GATT_Init failed. GAP_Init failed. SERVER: BLE Stack Initialized Error while adding Sample Service. Error while adding service. General Discoverable Mode 255Could someone please tell me how to run DTM_SPI software for BlueNRGM2SP chip on X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1?Many many thanks.Clemente
