the noise intensity level print on serially on monitor . from this the threshold has to be set to detect pleasant noise or harmful noises for further coding and analysis.I am stuck at a point in PCM audio data out conversion to dB i.e noise level .Below is a image attached on how I am getting the PCM values in buffer. And I am not sure how to validate whether this is correct or wrong.? and after this if any voice or variations in the mic should be showing alterations in the noise level intensity printing serially.I am a beginner with audio mems mic and audio processing. Please help .this project is on urgent requirement. Thanks in advance.

I mean, I setup TIM1 CH1 as output PWM, One pulse mode, but I need to trigger it by my codesfor example which register should be set to high or low to generate a pulse on TIM1 CH1

Hello! I'm writing data to flash and ran into an odd anomaly where the data is erasing itself on reboot. I have one program writing data to flash and another reading and it keeps reading back nothing. I ended up writing the data using one program and then reading the data using the STM32CubeProgrammer. First read shows my data. When I disconnect and reconnect, it's all gone again. My current code is fairly simple. I have a flash location with 10 pages set aside:/* Memories definition */ MEMORY { RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 40K FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8000000, LENGTH = 106k FLAG_VAR (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8015800, LENGTH = 2k LOC_VAR (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8016000, LENGTH = 20k }I am currently only using 1 page for testing purposes though. I am effectively erasing the flash and then counting up in the byteArray by 1, then writing 2048 bytes (one page). It seems to be working ok (as I mentioned, it's writing correctly, it's just erasing it a second time). Unfortunately, I'm

Hi Technical team.I want to configure both F12 and F13 as input pin. When i am trying to configure F12 and F13 as input pin in PinMap Editor , it gives error (attached the error screen). I tried this on sample project "SPC560Pxx_RLA SERIAL Test Application for Discovery".Hardware used : SPC560P DispPlease suggest me your ideas to solve this issue

Hi,The STM32H753 datasheet is missing the R_ADC value. On the caption of Figure 92 (p. 284) it says that R_ADC value can be found in table 183, but the value is not there.Does anybody have this value? Did the value change between Rev.Y and Rev.V?Thanks,Yan

Hi together, I’m trying to start a new project using STM32G031. The final decision of the MCU isn’t made yet and therefore I’m currently testing the possibilities with the Nucleo STM32G031K8 board. I’m using the onboards USB debug interface. I start a new Keil uVision project and everything work as expected until I add WFI() at the end of my main loop. After adding it, I start a debug session and everything is fine. But after leaving this first debug session and trying to start it second one again, I got the error message “Invalid ROM table?.From that point it’s not possible to debug or even flash the MCU using uVision. I have to copy a hex file (strange that it’s the same source) using the storage bootloader and after that it’s possible to start a new debug session. Unfortunately with the same result, that after leaving it and trying to debug again, I got this error message. I’m checked all ideas and tips I found here, check different “Connect and Reset Options? because this lo

I have the latest version of the ST BLE Sensor on Android 9. I changed the firmware to test out the Cube samples. I can't go back to the Pro mode now!!

How can I set in Keil MDK, used to stored some parameters such as soft version, manufacture date and so on at a block of（such as a page） STM32G4‘s Flash memory， thanks.

I'm using stm32h745. CubeMX Clock Configuration shows APB1 and APB2 clocks are 120MHz, and APB1 and APB2 Timer Clocks are 240MHz (2 x 120). When i call HAL_RCC_GetPCLK2Freq(), HAL_RCC_GetPCLK1Freq(), they indeed return 120MHz. I use general purpose timer to generate PWM based on timer clock freq of 240MHz. PWM signal freq is way off. For example i use timer clock of 240MHz to compute a 53KHz PWM; scope shows 16.95KHz PWM instead. This is the same code used to calculate PWM freq, from timer clk freq, used on other projects so i know it works correctly. It seems the timer clk is not 240MHz but something else. If someone has knowledge of stm32h7 timer clock freq, please let me know.

Hello,I need your help to recognize my issue correctly, please help me,background:I am having trouble using the stm32l053RB NUCLEO development board for USB protocol parsing.issue：When using timer to generate PWM, once the USB receive data is configured, the PWM waveform frequency will be greatly reduced. Also when using the timer to generate a timed interrupt, once the USB work is configured, the CNT data will be stuck, and the timer will stop unless the USB is reset.I have tried all the timers of this chip and will have the same problem. Why is this happening, does USB work affect the clock of TIMER? if you can help to solve issue or give any advice, I am very thankful for your kindness in advance.Thanks.my email is jysong@mindpointeye.com

For instance What pins can UART1_TX come out on? Or what peripherals are attached to PA5?I would think there was a table somewhere. I have looked in the RM0390 Reference manual but they say Alternate Function 0 - 15 but do not say what the alternate function is. STM32F446xC/E Document does not have it either. PM0214 Programming manual is too generic. I would have thought it was here somewhere but I cannot find it. https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32f446re.html#

Hi,I have configured STEVAL-MKI197V1 for Glance recognition as per ST's demo but I am not able to reset the LSM6DSOX to default so I can try other gesture recognition using ML.I was wondering if there is a way within the Unico GUI that I can reset everything to default, thanks in advance.

Using the latest CUBE-IDEFor what reason would this pop-up be missing? I went through the normal STM project setup and selected my Nucleo board in the selection window all the while using the NEXT option as to not miss any setup options. However the window does not appear and the option cannot be selected otherwise that I know of.

After updating to the latest release of CubeMX (6.1.1) I am seeing a bug in how the naming of IO pins with User Labels. When typing the User Label in, the field auto selects the text and erases the value typed in. This did not happen in the previous version. This is on macOS with Mojave (10.14.6) on a Mac Book Air 2015.The work around is to use the arrow keys to un select each time a new character is typed.Caleb

I have a firmware written for STM32L496VG. I wanted the same firmware to work for STM32L562VE. I just checked that they both are pin to pin compatible and of course the register addresses are different, along with the clock configurations to be done.Looking into the data sheet and mapping every other peripheral registers from L4 to L5 is one conventional way. But is there any other way to do that in a relatively quicker way ? will just replacing STM files (which contains the base addresses of registers) would do the trick ?Kindly guide me on this

The customer expected the full part-number as marking..We pointed him to the mfr label which shows the correct part-number and the marking. The hint in the datasheet showing that the marking is limited to 7characters with the last 2chars of the P/N being related to the packaging only, was also not acceptable for the customer.Would you have some official document showing the marking lineout for this specific part that could be accepted by the customer?I'm also attaching a provided picture from the customer for a received part.Thank you very much.Best regardsAdnan

I have a STM32CubeIDE project for a stm32f091, using LL drivers for everything. So I initially used the Cube-generated project structure with its main.c file.In an attempt to decrease the binary size (irony alert!) I converted the large GPIO init routine with lots of repated GPIO initialization code to one what uses a compact const array of struct storage for the GPIO / init info, and a small code block in a loop to do the config. To do that more conveniently I used some own helper library header with compile-time computation and "packing" stuff heavily reliant on the "constexpr" keyword. So I changed main.c into main.cpp. i.e. having it compile with C++.(the vast majority of the project was already C++, btw.)I did not change anything in the project but that (I just looked at the git diff), added no computations that use float or anything. But now instead of smaller, my binary is ~ 10KB bigger, and 7KB of that are from items in the .text section which were not present before:__aeabi_dsub__

Hi,Is there a date to STM32CubeMX/STM32CubeH7 release with Azure RTOS?

i have uploaded my main.c code.

I have a STEVAL-SPIN3202 board and I have a linear stage (2-poles, 3 phases). To prevent collision with the endings of the stage, there are connected two end-stops. (One on both ends). Is it possible to use the STEVAL-SPIN3202 board for this setup? Or do I have to find another controller board? Thanks in advance. With kind regards,Erik Houet

Hi!I am using TouchGFX in my application. In one of the pages I need to render unknown amount (depends on backend) of lines as well as boxes. What is best approach to this? Should I use TouchGFX MVP and send from backend information about width/color/position or maybe create my own function that will use DMA2D and render lines/boxes. If the first option is way to go, in TouchGFXDesigner I guess I would need to create one line and one box. How to change this line/box parameters (like position) without deleting previous rendered line/box? Since TouchGFX treats objects as rectangles it will overlay as rectangle. Is it even possible with TouchGFX engine?TL:DR: How to use TouchGFX engine to render unlimited number of custom objects (linex/boxes)?Thank you

Hello everyone,I am currently extending a legacy software, for STM32 ; it is for : "stm32f103cb", with Atollic TrueStudio 9.3 I want to add IWDG (independent watchdog) ; to do so I generated a new project using CubeIDE, latest version, driven by a proper youtube tutorial on IWDG and STM32.Then I manually copied the needed code into my existing project. My question is :is it enough to copy only the C code, into the existing project, to get the IWDG properly working ?Or there is additional setup to be done that cannot be copied this way ?Thank you in advance.
