Hi,I have downloaded the en.x-cube-smbus.zip package. How can I added it to the stm32CubeIde as a middleware?I have unzipped the file and moved the folder into STM32Cube/Repository/STM32Cube_FW_F3_V1.11.2/Middlewares but it is not seen by the stm32CubeIde application.Thanks.Pedro.

Hello. What is the value of the internal reference voltage of STM32WB55RGV6 MCU?Is it 1,212 V or 2,048 / 2,5 V?

Hello. What is the exact value of T_coeff_vrefint? I'm planning to use internal reference voltage buffer (VREFBUF) output pin in my application.

I have one ST-Link/V2 and one ST-Link/V2 ISOL and I experience following difference which I did not expect:ST-Link/V2 provides 3.3V to power the target's µC on PIN 1 of the flat ribbon cableST-Link/V2 ISOL does NOT provide 3.3V on that pin with the same configuration used in ST-Link utilityIs this by design, that intentionally the ISOL variant does not provide the 3.3V output or is there anyhow the possibility to recofigure the device to also provide the target power?

We are using an STM32L4R5VIT6 in a medical design and would like to run at 120MHz. The documentation refers to "boost" mode as "overvolting" which sounds dangerous to my manager. I assume there is no reliability impact in using boost mode, but would like confirmation from STM.

Hello, Have you ever seen the "N" suffix at the part number? Is the first time I see it. It seems to be some pinout differences, but... it implies any more differences? Thanks!

I'm using a STM32F401 that has its FLASH located at address 0x08000000.I'm trying to use the Vector Table Offset Register. I need to put the Vector Table at address 0x0800C000.My first question would be what do I need to put in VTOR?0x0800C000 (absolute addres) or 0x0000C000 (offset from 0x08000000)Second question:The manual https://developer.arm.com/documentation/ddi0439/b/System-Control/Register-summary?lang=engives the information about VTOR as:address=0xE000ED08 reset value=0x00000000 When I reset the processor with STM32CubeIDE and place a breakpoint at the very beginning of the code:Reset_Handler:   ldr  sp, =_estack   /* set stack pointer */I can see through the SFRs window that the register has in fact value 0x00000000However when I stop the program at main() the register value is now 0x08000000So what is changing the VTOR between the ResetHandler and main()?It must be said that the program works and it is using interrupts...

I would like to distinguish POR/PDR and BOR condition. Let me know if there is a way to identify this from embedded software for stm32l072cz.

Hi!I'm using STM32H7 for a new project, and I need to send data through HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA to an external MRAM. I have a block of 34000 bytes. If i send this: HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA(&MRAM_SPI_H, buf, 34000); there is some write problem (when I read the data, some bit is changed so the CRC error takes place). However, If i send the same block of data but divided in few parts (for example, parts of 5000 bytes): HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA(&MRAM_SPI_H, buf, 5000) then the data reading is completely correct. The maximum size of the SPI transaction is uint16_t so, what could be the problem? Thank you so much in advanceJosep

We have a problem, we are trying to upload a new firmware version over NFC, using the mailbox. Our bootloader is tight on space, so we came up with a simple protocol for it; When attempting to write to the mailbox by calling mNfcTag.writeMailboxMessage(data) we notice that 4 bytes are prepended to the packet in the mIso15693CustomCommand class writeMsg() method:public byte writeMsg(byte sizeInBytes, byte[] buffer, byte flag, byte[] uid) throws STException { int msgSize = Helper.convertByteToUnsignedInt(sizeInBytes); if (buffer != null && buffer.length != 0 && buffer.length >= msgSize + 1) { int headerSize = this.getIso15693CustomHeaderSize(flag); byte[] frame = new byte[headerSize + 1 + msgSize + 1]; frame[0] = flag; frame[1] = -86; frame[2] = 2; if (this.uidNeeded(flag)) { this.addUidToFrame(frame, 3, uid); }   frame[headerSize] = sizeInBytes; System.arraycopy(buffer, 0, frame, headerSize + 1, msgSize + 1); byte[] response = this.transceive("writeM

Dear,Is there a way to override compilation warnings of the project properties ?I enable the "-Wall" and "-Wextra" options in the project properties. But it is global for the project and I have the warning for my specific files (.cpp / .hpp) and the ST library files (.c / .h).I only want to have the warning for my specific files. Is there a way to do that in the properties with the gcc options without adding pragma or options in the code files ?

I am working on a project using the STM32WB55xx series. I'm trying to read the Device Information Table (AN5185 Section 6.6.1, pg 17) using a bash script and the STM32 Programmer CLI.According to the documentation (AN5185 Section 1.2 page 3) I should be reading the IPCCDBA option byte to get the device info table address at the start of SRAM2a. The IPCCDBA value is 0x0, so the device info table address should be located at address 0x20030000. If I try to use the CLI to read at address 0x20030000, I get all zeroes in response. If I read the same address using the STM32 Programmer GUI, at first I get the same thing:However, if I switch to the CPU tab in the GUI and hit 'Run' first, I can check address 0x20030000 and I find a value of 20030890: Then, I can read address 0x20030890, and I find the device info table, including the 'table valid' bytes 0xA94656B9: Success! It seems that hitting the Run button makes all the difference for the GUI.So now going back to the CLI, it appear

I am using STM32L073.When using this ADC, the EOC of the flag ADC_ISR for which AD conversion has been completed does not change unless the EOCIE of ADC_IER is set.is it right.

I have the STM32L475 working in STOP2 wake up as WFE based on the RTC. I would now like to add in an external interrupt source (WFI). There doesn't appear to be a way to use both a WFI and a WFE as wake up. The only way I could see would be to have an external clock provide similar timing as the RTC, but that would defeat a lot of the low power benefits. Is there anyway the RTC wake up can be gated with an external signal?

I have migrated code working fine on STM32F767 to STM32H7A3.The strange thing is DMA2D_IRQHandler does not get called upon memory-to-memory transfer complete. I call HAL_DMA2D_Start_IT() function, it returns no error, it does what it should, I can even call it subsequently but DMA2D_IRQHandler is not fired. What could be the reason? Below is what I have checked, all settings seem to be OK.I am puzzled.uint32_t isr = hdma2d.Instance->ISR;           //  interrupt status register [0]uint32_t ifcr = hdma2d.Instance->IFCR;         //  interrupt flag clear register [0]uint32_t cr = hdma2d.Instance->CR;             // control register [8961]uint32_t v1 = __NVIC_GetVector(DMA2D_IRQn);&n

We have in production a display product using STM32F496. Currently we offer this with our own software only, but are considering opening up software development to 3rd parties. We would love to be able to integrate this with STM32CubeIDE and TouchGFX in the same way as ST's own discovery and eval boards.I've found this information on how to develop an expansion package, is there a similar mechanism to integrate a new development board into the environment?

The ST data sheet says: “…uses a default device address of 0x52.But is that the 7-bit base address, or the Write address?

HiI'm using the dual image function on a 512kB STM32G474. I like to adjust the bootloader size to 32kb because my user App is too big.In the AN5056 there is a note how to adjust it, but I'm not sure if this lines in the file low_level_security.h are correct? Can anybody help me please?#define SFU_PROTECT_MPU_EXEC_SE_RGNV MPU_REGION_NUMBER7 #define SFU_PROTECT_MPU_EXEC_SE_START FLASH_BASE /*!< Flash memory area */ #define SFU_PROTECT_MPU_EXEC_SE_SIZE MPU_REGION_SIZE_16KB //eud MPU_REGION_SIZE_32KB #if defined (__GNUC__) #define SFU_PROTECT_MPU_EXEC_SE_SREG 0xE0U /*!< 32 Kbytes / 8 * 5 ==> 20 Kbytes */ #elif defined(__CC_ARM) #define SFU_PROTECT_MPU_EXEC_SE_SREG 0x80U /*!< 32 Kbytes / 8 * 7 ==> 28 Kbytes */ #else #define SFU_PROTECT_MPU_EXEC_SE_SREG 0xC0U /*!< 32 Kbytes / 8 * 6 ==> 24 Kbytes */ #endif /* (__GNUC__) */ #define SFU_PROTECT_MPU_EXEC_SE_PERM MPU_REGION_PRIV_RO #define SFU_PROTECT_MPU_EXEC_SE_EXECV MPU_INSTRUCTION_ACCESS_ENABLE #define SFU_PROTECT_MPU_EXE

We have a project that contains too many files. The total length of the files' path is longer than Window command line limitation. The create process error is reported when compiling. This problem is temporarily solved by converting all STM32HAL files to a library file. But this error comes back soon as more files are added. I guess this issue is related to how the makefile works. How to fix it? Another thing, we use TGFX as the GUI engine. The generated files' path is fixed and long. Is there a way to change the path of the generating file? Thanks in advance.

Hi,we implemented your reference design coming from the STEVAL-ESC002V1 that is suitable for 2S to 6s battery. We found that the circuit didn't work under the 6.5Volt and we have the confirmation of this out of spec because STSPIN32F0A is working from 6.7V.So how can we use the circuit with the 2s conf? The minimum working voltage expected for 2s conf is at leas 6V.Can you help me to understand how to modify the project to support low minimum voltage (6v)?Can be possible to modify the firmware?

I would like to know how is the amplitude of the FFT calculated by the FP-IND-PREDMNT1 firmware related to the acceleration measured by the accelerometer found on the STEVAL-STWINKT1 board. It is expressed in an absolute value but I need to know the relation to the intensity of the vibration/acceleration.

Hello everyone, I'm using the evaluation board of the motor driver POWERSTEP01 with a nucleo board NUCLEO-F401-RE. As the powerstep01 works by writing in regsitres via SPI, I would like to know if there are one or more libraries that allow the functions to be used directly in my program ?Thank for your help
