I have spend some time to thoroughly understand the B-G431B-ESC1 board, which is a BLDC motor controller. According to the L6387E datasheet the high level logic threshold voltage is minimum at 3.6V. Looking at the schematic of the discovery board, the high and low level logic pins of the gate driver are directly connected to the microcontroller (STM32G431). These pins are 3.3V when high. How come the L6387E is chosen as gate driver instead of L6388E which has a high level logic threshold voltage minimum of 1.8V?Also the L6388E is branded as "3.3 V, 5 V, 15 V CMOS/TTL input comparator swith hysteresis and pull-down".

Hi,I'm testing the MotionFX library with the Discovery Kit IoT node [B-L4S5I-IOT01-A] and I have a problem: randomly the sensor fusion algorithm "explodes" and I can only get only "nan" values for all the `MFX_MagCal_output_t` values, Gyro Biases included.What can be the cause of this behavior?Following my initialization code:int32_t initMotionFX() { char lib_version[MFX_STR_LENG]; MFX_knobs_t iKnobs; /* Sensor Fusion API initialization function */ MotionFX_initialize();   MotionFX_GetLibVersion(lib_version);   MotionFX_getKnobs(&iKnobs); iKnobs.LMode = 1; iKnobs.gyro_orientation[0] = 'n'; iKnobs.gyro_orientation[1] = 'w'; iKnobs.gyro_orientation[2] = 'u'; iKnobs.acc_orientation[0] = 'n'; iKnobs.acc_orientation[1] = 'w'; iKnobs.acc_orientation[2] = 'u'; // Note: the magnetometer is rotated by 180° respect to the IMU iKnobs.mag_orientation[0] = 's'; iKnobs.mag_orientation[1] = 'e'; iKnobs.mag_orientation[2] = 'u';   MotionFX_setKnobs(&iKnobs); &n

I want to store my software version and data at a pointed section of STM32's Flash.I have tried to config the stc file in keil mdk,but it seems not working. So could anyone help me to find which step not right,thanks.1. I set in keil to use user configured stc file;2. I set the sct file like this:;Add 0x0x0801B000 start address,2k=0x800 length to define as myram section to store user data3.I define MYRAM as __attribute__((section("myram"))):4.I use MYRAM to define user data const variable:then i rebuild this program and download the hex to STM32G4,but the sct file defined style variable could not be found at MYRAM section at 0x0801B000;But when I use the style liking attribute at + address,it is useful; So the attribute at + address method is useful, but if I want to define another const variable behind the UserData_BlockValue2, I have to calculate the address because of the length of UserData_BlockValue2, this seems a little tedious.I want to know is it possible to use sct file

STM32H747XIH6U the boot0 pin of this chip, the datasheet description is the pin that enters the RSS, and the BOOT0 pull-up of the M4 series can download the program with serial port.

Hello ,i am testin my STM32F769I_EVAL board for USB Host Mass storage example from below project example C:\Users\Graffin01\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.15.0\Projects\STM32F769I_EVAL\Applications\USB_Host\MSC_Standalone\SW4STM32but i could not see mass storage drive in my computeri could only explore files on lcdhow i could see drive of usb flash disk in my computer?Best RegardsDipk Garasiya

This is an Power Management IC but I can't find it's datasheet or Part number with all my search, Could you help please?

First of all, I apologize for my unprofessional English! In the process of using STM32 board to collect data from lsm6dsl module, the angular velocity data of gyroscope can be output stably, but there are jumps in the angular velocity of three directions. In the high performance mode I set, the range of the gyroscope is 250dps, the frequency is 52hz, and the peak value of the jump is 2.2dps (the peak value is stable, and it feels like being limited).According to the gyroscope digital chain:I have opened digital LP filter (lpf2), digital high pass filter (HPF) and digital low pass filter (lpf1), but I have not improved the jump.Do you know what the problem is ?

I have been looking for something in the structure. while ((huart1.hdmatx->State != HAL_DMA_STATE_READY) && (huart1.hdmatx->Lock != HAL_UNLOCKED))But that does not seem to work. The only other way I can think of is when you call HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA() set a variable to 1, and then setup a callback complete and set it to 0. Is that the best way to do it?

After spending a year or so on different processors, I returned to a new project using the STM32L476 which I had used STM32CubeMX V5.x on before.Using STM32CubeMX V6.1.1 with MDK 5.27 even the simplest USB CDC serial port device would not work; the windows driver gets part way through initiating the device as a serial port and then fails to open with error code 10. The same settings using CubeMX V5.x did not have this problem.Other notes: Using STM32CubeMX V6.1.1 with MDK 5.27 with the same usb cdc configuration but on a STM32L152RC runs perfectly. With STM32CubeMX V6.1.1 one can ONLY select firmware package STM32Cube FW_L4 V1.16.0, and editing the .ioc file to force an earlier package e.g. STM32Cube FW_L4 V1.13.0 fails to produce compile-able code. The only GOOD thing is that finally there is a "CDC_TransmitCplt_FS" hook added which I always had to add manually before. If anyone knows a work around please let me know, otherwise I will have to set up another machine (yet again) for runn

I'm using the Nucleo-H743ZI STM32 development board on windows 10. When I upload a program that sends out data through CDC with CDC_Transmit_FS and open a serial monitor right after, it works fine. But when I disconnect and reconnect the Nucleo to my computer the serial port cannot seem to be able to open. In Putty I get unable to configure serial port. This only happens when I unplug the ST-Link side of the nucleo. My code is very basic and shown below: while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */   /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ CDC_Transmit_FS((uint8_t *) "AAAAAAAA\r\n", 10); HAL_Delay(100);   }What do you think is the problem? Thank you.

Hi, I'm trying to follow this tutorial :- https://youtu.be/Hk--a4K497M -- demonstrating how to transmit simple string to PC via usb virtual com port. Unfortunately, I'm getting no output on my serial port. During debugging, I found that CDC_Transmit_FS() always returns USBD_BUSY since hcdc->TxState never goes to zero. Also, hcdc->RxBuffer and hcdc->TxBuffer throw an error stating cannot access memory at a certain address. Things I have tried :- 1) increase heap and stack size to 800 and 1200 respectively.2) change USB_HS_MAX_PACKET_SIZE and CDC_DATA_HS_MAX_PACKET_SIZE to 256.3) Adding more delay before CDC_Transmit_FS().PS: I'm able to send and receive data via USB using MBed online compiler's library (Serial (USBTX, USBRX)).OS: Windows 10, Serial port monitor : CoolTerm , Toolchain: STM32CubeIDE.

I have installed STM32CubeIDE on Ubuntu 20.04 and set a project for NUCLEO L552ZE-Q, i want to try examples of STM32L5, and found that it need STM32CubeL5. How to install it ?

I'm having issue configuring STM32CubeIDE to properly index the include files on a STM32H7 dual core project.Essentially I created a project using CubeMX v6.2.0. After the project is created I use STM32CubeIDE to build the project. Everything seems to build fine. While looking at the code, I notice that the IDE seems to think that "STM32H755xx" is defined and therefore gray out the line "#include stm32h755xx.h".This is not true because "STM32H755xx" is defined in the "Paths and Symbols" section of the project properties.(see the attached image).I can't seem to be able to tell the IDE otherwise. The project is built and seem to run properly. However this is very unsettling as I want to trust that my IDE won't try mislead me while I' reading the code. Please help me figure out a way to configure STM32CubeIDE file indexing to correct this issue.Thank you. (I have the same issue with the previous version of CubeMX. I upgraded my CubeMX to the latest hoping that the issue is resolved)

Considering existing posts and instructions in the documentation, I can't manage the framework to call flushFrameBuffer() regularly after a vsync. The main issue is that TouchGFXHAL::flushFrameBuffer() is only called once after the first OSWrappers::signalVSync() (and never again). I've deleted all display drivers and checked with a breakpoint that is only hit once in TouchGFXHAL::flushFrameBuffer(). OSWrappers::signalVSync() is triggered by a button and an external interrupt callback. All code that I added is attached. The board is a F303RE Nucleo. Settings of TouchGFX see below. Many thanks for considering my request.Sync wrapper. Breakpoint hit on each button press. Callback on button press. Calls the wrapper function from above. Breakpoint gets hit.Breakpoint only hit on first button press!TouchGFX settings.

What I have: STM32L496, analog signal input. What I need: on some level of analog signal start an ADC conversion with some delay (80...200 ns. Basically, 55-80 ns is the propagation delay for builtin comparator and 20 ns is the shortest sampling time). What is the best way to do this?So far I came up with something like this:DAC_OUT->COMP_IN->???(timer?)->ADC (External trigger conversion source ???)

This is for the STM32WB5MMG, on page 11/31 of the datasheet.

Hi , We have one of our a main line product is based on ST25R3911B-AQFT.Now while placing order we have found that this product is marked as "NRND".Our product is already in market and now need assistance for replacement part for further manufacturing. So need suggestions on any similar product which will meet following criteria:Pin count and physical dimensionIC internal register and functionalityMoreover we have spent lot of efforts on achieving a decent card reading range with a smaller dimension antenna , that's why looking for a substitute part that matches more with respective to IC internal functionality. Thanks and Regards,Vaibhav

Hi,I am using an accelerometer (LIS2DW12) from STMicroelectronics. An interrupt is generated only for (50,60,70,80) degrees only while setting on 6D orientation mode. I would expect to get an interrupt for even small degrees of tilt starting from 10 degrees as a part of my project. Can you please inform me whether it is realizable using LIS2DW12.?Please let me know if there are any other option to get the interrupt for small degrees in any of the modes

Hello,We are using an encoder ( https://www.andymark.com/products/redline-encoder-kit ) with 4096 CPR and are trying to measure speed and direction of a motor with an STM32F103. However, we cannot read stable values and in high frequencies we cannot read at all. Currently, our MCU is working on 72 MHz frequency and in TIM2 we are using the Encoder mode with interrupt. (Prescaler value=0, Counter period value=65535)Should we use the DMA as well? Would it make any difference? Do you have any suggestions on what improvements we could make to our system?Below is our snippet of user code regarding the issue. Thanks in advance.*EDIT: Updated the prescaler and counter period valuetypedef struct encoderStruct { uint32_t counter_u32; _Bool measuredDirection_bool; float measuredSpeed_f32; }ENCODER_HandleTypeDef;   // *** void Measure_Speed(TIMER_HandleTypeDef *timer, FLAG_HandleTypeDef *flag, ENCODER_HandleTypeDef *encoder){ if(TIM2->CR1 == 1) { encoder->measuredDirection_bool =

Dear all,I have an IP Camera which i have interfaced with STM32F767ZI. I m able to command the camera over ethernet (RTSP) and recieve RTP packets containing video data over UDP. Further i wish to interface STM32F767ZI with 2 FIFOs . These FIFOs will be used to store video data (ie. payload of RTP packets). The FIFOs will be read by FPGA and further processing on data will be done on FPGA.(Two FIFOs are required so that while 1 FIFO is being written by MCU , the other is to read by FPGA . Hence there will be no loss of packets). My probelm is I wish to write FIFO at high frequency so that no UDP ethernet packets are lost. For this i want 32 bit data to be pushed to FIFO with highest possible frequency clock. Can you please help me write a code in C to synchronously shift 32bit data into my external FIFO.

Hi,I work for Analog devices and presently working to port the software from our hardware to the STM32L4S5ZI. I needed a file that is similar to the attached file which is for our device. Please let me know how to get this file for the STM32L4S5ZI. I created projects using STM32CubeMX but I dont see any such file which gives the register details which can directly be taken as a pointer.

I don't need additional features (Machine learning core…).Regards.
