Hi guys!I am trying to flash code via the USB-DFU but every time I tied BOOT0 to GND and connect a MicroUSB from the STM32 chip to the computer it does not detect it at all. I have no idea what's going on here?I am assuming its because I dont have VDD33USB Connected ? Otherwise I am out of ideas. I installed all needed drivers and what not.Any info would be helpful as this is my first time trying to use the bootloader of the STM32. Here's the schematic of the STM32 and what pins I used.

Hi, we are currently bring up our custom STM32MP157 Board. We get in any constellation a "DDR addr bus test: can't access memory @ 0xc000004"We think that our crystal is correctly running at 24 Mhz because we connecting over USB to the Board. Also the Voltages is correctly. We use the same DDR Chip, that is on the DK2 ( Micron ), with the same settings. We run a little bit out of ideas how to handle this. We also got DDR errors in Uboot SPL.Have you any hints beyond the "Bring up" Guide?Best regards

Hello,I am trying to get a BR2804-1700 kV motor running utilizing a B-G431B-ESC1 board. Till now I managed to get the motor starting to rev-up, but in the middle/at the end of the rev-up process I receive a "speed feedback"-error in the Motor Control Dashboard. Running the motor from Motor Profiler works without any problem.I have already applied two fixes from the forum:To fix ADC2 warning when generating Code, which did work https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000JM31XSAT/adc2-warning-when-generating-project-for-bg431besc1And I tried following fix, which had no effect eighter positive nor negative: https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000HwV8RSAV/bg431besc1-motor-profiler-not-working-moderator-note-this-post-contains-now-a-bugfix-patch-on-provided-exampleI have also tried to adapt the parameters as suggested in the STM32 PMSM FOC SDKFrequently-asked questions (FAQ) document, e.g. decreasing the C2 gain, but it still does not work.Is there any fix I missed? If no

Hello, can I use the NUCLEO-F303K8 dev board as ST-link SWD programmer for external MCU? There is a SWD connector on the board (not populated), but it seems that it is for input programming rather than output. Am I right?Link:https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/evaluation-tools/product-evaluation-tools/mcu-mpu-eval-tools/stm32-mcu-mpu-eval-tools/stm32-nucleo-boards/nucleo-f303k8.html#overview

Hello!A have a window, his height is 10 strings. Scrollist have 30 strings. When I add 11-30 strings, they are out of window. I can manually scroll list to last element. How can I do it by software?Something like ScrollList1.ScrollTo(25);.....

Hello,So I bought a B-L4S5I-IOT01A with the intention to use it as a MQTT device to send and receive data. My problem is that i cannot communicate with the on board Wi-Fi chip "STM32_IWIN_WIFI_V2". Here's what I did :1- I create a project with STM32CubeMX for STM32CubeIDE, and added FreeRTOS (because I plant to use it in my finished project), and initialized all the peripherals to default. And made sure that UART3 (the Wi-Fi chip com port) was configured with the proper default parameters.2- Then I added a library called "STM32_IWIN_WIFI_V2" that I found on the Wi-Fi chip manufacturer web site. It's basically a UART wrapper to help interface with the chip. Originally this library is meant for STM32F4, but since it only called HAL_UART so I went ahead and modified #include for STM32L4.3 - I used a demo program supposed to connect to a Wi-Fi network and post messages about it on the StLink uart port.4- It didn't work... The MCU could not established UART communication with Wi-Fi chip. 5-

Hi,I just upgraded my STM32CubeProgrammer to 2.7 and now getting error that can't find tf-a-stm32mp157c-dk2-serialboot.stm32.I tried this on three other images that have worked in past, get same error.tf-a-stm32mp157c-dk2-serialboot.stm32 is not found on file system for any of these images.Specifics:target: stm32mp157c-dk2host: Windows 10Images built on WSL.Unfortunately I deleted 2.4 before installing 2.7, also tried 2.6, 2.5 and get same problem.Have any suggestions ?

According to the schematics of the STM32F746G-DISC Board, the Camera_CLK pin in the Camera Connector need to sourced from OSC_24M, I couldn't find form where. There seems no internally used pins for this as for others in the schematics.Someone please help me out with this.

I'm using the dynamic graph to represent a small dataset. The data is acquired all at once through a back-end process, leaving me with an array of around 1000 datapoints. Once acquisition is complete, I use the following code to refresh the graph.graphWidget.clear(); for (int i = 0; i < size; i++) { graphWidget.addDataPoint(yValues[i]); } graphWidget.invalidate();This works sort-of, however the X value labels also increment by size. I want them to restart from 0. I assumed .clear() would do this, but apparently not. How can I reset the graph and labels back to a fully empty state, such that I can explicitly get labels starting from 0 again? Attached photo shows current (undesirable) behavior.Solved. Thanks @Vladimir Open AbstractDataGraph.hpp and scroll down to the AbstractDataGraphWithY class definition, around line 995. Add the following method to the HPP file.void dataCounterReset() { dataCounter = 0; }In your View code, call the method to reset the x-axis labels.

I am currently using Linux and compiling my project using my own Makefile, with libraries generated via STM32CubeMX from my Windows machine. I am trying to use CMSIS's arm_mat_mult_f32() function but it is not working. I suspect I am passing the wrong compilation flag, but am not sure what I am doing wrong.I am using STM32F7508-DISCO board. Below are my (what I think are relevant) compilation flags..-mthumb -mfpu=fpv5-sp-d16 -mfloat-abi=softfp -mcpu=cortex-m7 -DSTM32F750xx -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER -DARM_MATH_CM7 -D__FPU_PRESENT=1 (-DARM_MATH_DSP)I had to add -DARM_MATH_CM7 and -D__FPU_PRESENT=1 to make it compile, but maybe I am adding something I shouldn't be adding. I tried both with and without -DARM_MATH_DSP but it does not work.Especally, I go into hardfault handler while running arm_mat_mult_f32(), especially when (I think) running this inst: vldr s14, [r4, #-12]I am not sure if I am passing the wrong flags, and if so, what is the right flag for my board. (1) what is the right flag for m

lsm6dso sensor generates significant motion interrupt when a change in user location is detected. It generates an interrupt when the difference between the number of steps counted from its initialization/reset is higher than 10 steps. So it uses step counter. I will use this sensor on car. So I can not take interrupt, when the car changes location. Since there is not any steps. Is there any way to detect significant motion interrupt without using step counter in lsm6dso sensor ?

Hello guys :waving_hand:I am having a STM32F401CDU6TR on a custom board and I am not able to run it at 84 MHz SYSCLK. The source is an external 8 MHz crystal with two 22pF caps as seen here:I created the project in CubeMX as a Makefile project. I only use CubeMX for configuring the GPIOs as well as the clock. The actual code is written and flashed via VSCode. Works great so far. Here is my current 84 MHz clock configuration in CubeMX:And this is my RCC configuration:When I flash this code I always end up in a HardFault_Handler before the SystemClock_Config(); function returns. /** * @brief System Clock Configuration * @retval None */ void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0};   /** Configure the main internal regulator output voltage */ __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE3); /** Initializes the RCC Oscillators according to the specified par

Hi all,I am testing product samples fitted with STM32F412RET6 which has a temperature operating range of -40°C +85°C.On some samples tested inside a climate chamber, the MCU unexpectedly reset due to cold temperature within operating range (e.g. -5°C).I have reproduced this behavior with a freeze spray and used the debugger to see what really happens. When abruptly cooled with the spray, some MCUs issue a hard fault. Those are the same that fail inside the chamber. The faults don't seem to originate from a certain spot in the code.It really seems that the chips are involved as I have unsoldered, resoldered and switched two chips (one good and one bad) and the problem followed the chip. The firmware is the same as the chip revision.Did you ever experience something similar ?

VL53L1_PerformOffsetCalibration(Dev, 140, 17 << 16)From digging in the code it looks like CalReflectancePerCent is fixpoint1616 and CalDistanceMilliMeter is an int32. For example is this the correct format to calibrate with a 17% Grey card at 140mm?

Openssl fails to convert the certificate from der to pem. Is this expected? I wrote a c program in OpenSSL to extract the public key, which seems to work, but I need to verify its correctness. Is there another tool like openssl that I can verify the key in the certificate? Any thoughts, etc?

So I developing prototype using STM32F769 Discovery Kit. At first I develop the UI using TouchGFX and so far so good. But I realize the generated codes from TouchGFX does not really generate driver code for other component e.g. Virtual Component Port. So I search around STM site and found CubeMX tool which seems the right tool for me generate this low level code. So when the code generated by CubeMX, I use Keil IDE vs 5.34. But when I build the code I end up with errors/warning:"Rebuild started: Project: STM32F769I_DISCO*** Using Compiler 'V5.06 update 7 (build 960)', folder: 'C:\Keil_v5\ARM\ARMCC\Bin'*** Warning: You are compiling one or more files of source type C++ and have selected 'use MicroLIB'. Hi Folks,I am developing a prototype for real time measurement of particular analog value. The intention is to show graph showing real time measurement, it take data every 0.1s but the X-axis would show label 0 - 9 s (fixed) This mean, every 1s contains 10 data points, total 100 points. But when I tried Touchgfx designer DynamicGraph widget, it shows 2 problems:The X-axis label is by data point count, so in this case, it show 0 - 99 data point instead of 0 -9s.The X-axis label grows as data point increased while what I want is fixed. What I want is like this; X-axis label is fixed 0 - 9s ( I draw manually the X-axis by hand, not generated by touchgfx) But what Touchgfx gives me is this:As we can see from above, X axis label show data point instead of time in seconds and the label grows instead of fixed.Setting:My development board is:STM32F769 Dicovery Kit.Could someone give me some pointers/direction please?

Hello,I am trying to generate a PWM signal with the help of several guides from internet that ultimately contain the same thing, but it does not work, I'm doing something wrong, but I cannot see what. As a result, I only see a zero line in the display of a digital analyzer.I have included the most important settings in the appendix below. With the values for Prescaler = 2399 I would like to achieve a timer clock of 100 kHz and for Period = 1999 a PWM frequency of 50 Hz. However, it is not entirely clear to me what the change in Pulse does. Is it the duty cycle? The code is very simple:... int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ uint32_t br;   /* USER CODE END 1 */ ... MX_TIM3_Init(); ... /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */   /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ br = 1000; pwm_setValue(br); HAL_Delay(100); } /* USER CODE END 3 */ } ... static void MX_TIM3_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM3_Init 0 */   /* USER C

Hi Team,Can we control the LCD display brightness in the STM32H7B3-DK board?

Hi,I'am working on a LSM6DSO32, I've read the datasheet and source code example here. But I don't understand the utility of FIFO. In wich case to use FIFO rather than raw register like OUTX_L_G (22h) and OUTX_H_G (23h) for raw X axis angular rate for example ?

Hi, everyone. I am Emily. I would like to know the MCU which is compatible to 'stm32f446RET'.Also I wanna double-check the possiblity of compatible usage between 'stm32f407VET' and 'stm32f417VET'.Please help me:crying_face:

Using STM32L431RCT6 (VDDA and VREF+ bondet together). VDDA/VREF is 3.0V and VDD is 1.8V. If i'm sampling voltages larger then 2.8V that effects VDD (Jumping from 1.8V to approx. 2.06V for approx. 400ms). Any Idea's what i'm doing wrong?
